Was quoted 150.00 for a tune up per bike over the phone. Took it in about a week later and was told pricing changed to 200.00 for tune up per bike. Had 2 bikes to work on. There was No apology or at least they could have somehow honored that original pricing, and then change it for new appointments. Or even a call me before I handed my bikes in. Also rep didn’t even review the bike to go over any possible wear and tear replacement issues like chain or brakes. My wife also thought he wasn’t very friendly. Went to another shop off of twelve bridges. Super nice, and went over the bikes to see if chain and brakes were worn. Was 150.00 cheaper at other shop also.

These guys are awesome. They make you feel welcome and do everything they can to fit you into the right bike for a great price. I would absolutely recommend California Bike Pickers to anyone starting off or even experienced, they got it all.

Purchased a 35 year old road bike from them that looked brand new. They pick good bikes and their refurbishment gets an old bike ready to ride. They pack securely for shipping too and are willing to cut you a deal if your offer is reasonable. Id buy from them again - if they can find me a clean early 70s Frejus Super Corsa!

I recently brought my cruiser in to get a “tune up”... adjust some gears and fix a few lose screws. Josh assisted me and said it would be about an hour. And in less than an hour I received a call my bike was ready. The customer service was friendly, helpful, fast and beyond what was even required. When I went to pick up my bike, Josh even helped load it into my car. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the shop and its employees.

Super expensive, Im sure they are a wonderful store but dont go in there looking for a regular bicycle, they dont have anything less that $600.

Todd and the guys at Bike Pickers are AWESOME! I bought my son a mountain bike and the service and selection were second to none. Best of all it was one of the few bike stores where there were no outrageous charges for simple fixes and basic adjustments. I think youll be surprised at the great selection and quality of all the bicycles there without paying an arm and a leg. They simply dont carry junk bikes that dont last or you wont enjoy riding. Ive been very impressed every time Ive gone in the store. Ben is the best at servicing things to work exactly like they should, and making it look easy. I wouldn’t recommend going here. They have no concern for their customers health (or their own) in a pandemic. Yes, we’re still in a pandemic and the numbers are rising. Such a simple thing such as wearing a mask is recommend by nearly all medical professionals and it’s not a big deal. No mask = no concern for anybody else.A respectful business has respect for their customers and does not expect their customer to risk their and their families health to educate them on what is everywhere in the news and mandated by the state government for really good reason. No signs to mask up, no care in the world. Sorry but you can’t say we support families and run a respectful business after skirting common sense and clearly not doing the later.I ended up going to The Hub in Roseville and they all had masks and were respectful to their customers. Having disrespect for customer’s health right off the bat is no way to start a business relationship, no thanks.

California Bike Pickers ROCK! I love their customer service and the way they appreciate their customers. I went in a few days ago and Charlie was extremely polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Pricing for my sons bike repairs were reasonable and i STRONGLY RECOMMEND their bicycle shop for repairs and/or buying new bicycles and accessories. Look no further in your neighborhood, these guys have it down when it comes to bicycles, customer service and care, etc. Way to go boys! Thats the way to run a business! Lastly, let me add that Charlie went above and beyond to with the fixtures, at his own time(didnt charge me extra). If you want to sell your bike you just upload images to their website and that starts the conversation.I recently needed a Crank Shaft arm replaced on my Peloton and they were very helpful and did it a fair price. I would definitely recommend them. Todd the owner is a very nice and honest person.

Came in right before closing and they were nice enough to get my bike in a rack and give a quick look over and adjustment for little cost. Tech was very friendly as well!

I went in with a broken shifting cable. Ben repaired and test rode and still did not like the way it was shifting. After close examination, he discovered the chain was installed incorrectly. Now shifts smooth as glass. They have a great team, and Ben and Jeff are excellent mechanics. I have 3 cyclist pals who purchased bikes there. They are very satisfied. WIll be my go-to shop and they are expanding too!

Incredible service! I was out on a ride in Lincoln when my bottom bracket came loose. I stopped by their shop and they fixed it in just a few minutes so I could finish my ride. Great shop!

I rode out here with my girlfriend from Roseville it was about a 9 mile ride. About a 1/2 mile before getting there my derailer broke, Their mechanic wasnt in until the following week and so I was kind of in a pickle Bing that there was no Uber or Lift due to the cover 19 Craziness.. So what Did these guys do? Before we could even ask, they offered to give us a ride home or let me borrow a bike. I MEAN WHO THE HELL DOES THAT these days?? The best customer service Ive encountered in a LOOOOOOONG time! So I left my 1996 GT there and rode home on one of theirs. I came back for my bike and it was all fixed and they didnt Charge me an arm and a leg, I even tried overpaying them but they wouldnt take it. These guys will forever have my business. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out before you go any where else in Placer County you will not be sorry.
