Two Men and a Truck were wonderful to work with - they handled my last minute need for some help on a small (but heavy!) move to a second floor and it was seamless! The movers were there on time, handled my move so efficiently and were so nice. Would definitely call Two Men and a Truck for any future moves!

The crew from 2 Men & a Truck from Durham, NC were very professional & accommodating from start to finish! They helped us transport a very large & heavy office desk in sections tomy home & even helped hold the sections together while my friend drilled the nails in to assemble it together. We had an amazing experience with two men and a truck. They were very punctual and professional. Sherrod and Jamall did an amazing job with moving all of our furniture from our two bedroom apartment to our four bedroom house. They made sure to wrap all of our belongings we didn’t have one scratch or one thing broken during our move. We have used two other companies before but never had such a great experience as we did this time. The best service yet!!!!

We recently hired them for our move within Cary and the trio of the team did a great job loading in and out quickly. Good protection of all our furnitures and boxes. They were quite patient with us as we figured out (on the fly) where things would go inside our new home. Highly recommended!!

The team that helped us with our move was fantastic! They were here on time, and facilitated transporting small and weird shaped items. They were extremely considerate and helpful, they even had a smile in theirs and found a way to put one in my kids. All three of them, Q, Brian and Keishane were very polite and patient with us. They were also very careful in transporting and caring for our floors and walls. The downside though was that the estimator didn’t get a good account of our property and our move ended up being longer than expected. The guys didn’t complain a bit but it would have been helpful to have an additional person helping with the move. Other than that, everything ran smoothly. Q in particular was a great leader in directing and helping get things done efficiently and in a timely manner. Overall we were very satisfied and thankful for these amazing guys!

I used Two Men and a Truck first time this week for a move; the team was great to work with. I was informed throughout the whole process what they were gonna do. Everything was as good as expected. I did find them to be a little pricey, but the service was great. I will surely use them again.

My move was incredibly easy to setup and the office staff was quick to reply with an accurate quote and answer my questions. The movers (Caleb and Anthony) wrapped my furniture very well and it arrived undamaged. They were not rough with my belongings and everything arrived safely. They were also personable and pleasant. Finally, they used clean furniture padding and didnt make a mess! I would highly recommend this establishment for moving needs.

This company was so easy to work with and having moved multiple times, we found each step in the process to be very easy. The rates of our across state move were extremely reasonable. The estimated turned out to be spot on, as well. Lastly the actual movers were so professional and just really great at their work.

They were on-time, courteous, meticulous in handling her furniture and worked without complaint (it was a very warm afternoon, and there were a few steps). I was very satisfied with my move from KY to NC! The movers (Robert Smith and Magdaleno) showed up promptly at 9:00 am. They packed up my 1-BR apartment quickly and actually arrived before I did! The movers were more than willing to unpack the same day (which is unheard of for a long-distance move) had we not run into traffic. They ended up unloading the next morning. They assembled all my furniture upon arrival and none of my items were damaged. I was most concerned about my Peloton bike (stationary bike w/ touchscreen), but they wrapped it with care and paid extra attention to it -- I took the screen in my car, but they were willing to take it. The only con is the price -- I paid $4394.72. Last year, I used Nation Capital Moving and also had a great experience with them for about half the price (this year, they were unavailable to complete my move based on location). However, Im glad I used Two Men and a Truck because my items were the only ones on the truck and there was more than enough room. With Nation Capital, the truck arrived with the belongings of others already loaded, which definitely made me concerned about belongings being shuffled/damaged. I also recall feeling anxious about whether all my belongings would fit on the back of the truck (they ended up using an extension, which ended up being fine but was stressful). I would absolutely use Two Men and a Truck again! My movers were kind, respectful, professional, and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed my conversations with them and hope they get a raise/recognition for their excellent work.

Move took place on August 3rd of 2020. Administrative office was easy to work with and addressed concerns in a timely and straight forward manner.Movers were polite and respectful of property and pets. First crew of inexperienced movers were replaced by a very experienced pair of guys that were efficient, friendly and very helpful. Went I was getting moving quotes, due to COVID-19, Two Men and a Truck were the only company that actually came to my apartment to give me an estimate. Other moving companies did virtual estimates.On packing day Two young men came and packed everything. They did really well. The next day three men came to move me. I was very impressed with how they covered certain pieces with heavy moving pads and/or shrinked wrapped furniture. They took such good care of each piece as if it belonged to them. Nothing was broken. Both teams were courteous and friendly. They made me feel like a valued customer. I certainly recommend Two Men and A Truck for your next move.

Fred and his team were great to work with. They were very helpful and all of our items arrived to our new location exactly how they left the old location.

If I could give them a negative rating if I would! They basically damaged every single white piece of furniture we owned, heck they prob damaged the dark wood too but we couldnt see it as well. Most pieces had some mystery blue mark all over them. Most items are from our nursery sadly and the dresser from the nursery was brand new (over $300). After spending well over $1200 on the move they gave us $24 dollars for the damages!!! Beyond unprofessional, as they took over 6 weeks to respond to our claim after the move. We went with them over another company that was $400 cheaper because they would wrap our furniture to keep it protected ha. We have had over 5 moves in the last 8 years and this was the WORST and we paid the most! NEVER AGAIN!!! Not to mention the movers had dirty hands and we had just painted, so how I found about 5 hand prints on my walls when they left! *** As I can not reply to your comment but the $24 is what was emailed to me yesterday, not sure why this is confusing. I was told that amount was sent to accounts payable already, so not sure how much can be altered but I sure hope so. I also submitted a new item yesterday that I noticed over the weekend that was destroyed in my nursery, so that must be what you were referring to as it was not a closed case yet. I resubmitted more details after hearing of the extremely low $$ resolve this morning so I hope that more than $24 can be awarded after all of the damage caused. The crib, dresser (brand new), and glider are completely ruined.

Update— I downgraded it to 1 star after my new movers moved me and I was there to watch the entire move with professionals.2 men and a Truck managed to lose, break or throw away a small book case without notifying me as it was nowhere in my storage and was not noted to be sent to the dump. I saw pieces of wood on my stairs after the move but I shrugged it off hoping it was the piece I asked to go to the dump.Then a white pantry had too many things stacked on it and was broken beyond repair and had to be thrown away the only thing holding it together was the plastic wrap they put on it!I will not ever use this company again and let everyone else I know the many reasons. It began with the intake process. I was contacted by more than one person for my personal information, including my credit card information which seemed shady. Apparently, it cannot cross over to other systems and the wrong person from the wrong city called me first and emailed me first.The 1st person (Billie) who took my information assured me that though the estimating in her computer was long, that it was excessive and they would surely be done by then. She said this several times. When I seemed hesitate, she asked if I wanted 3 men to make it go faster and again assured me it would be completed well before the time estimated.She also said it was cheaper this way. I obliged. So I agreed to the $845. She also stated that if things needed to still be packed they would wrap and have supplies to do this. I told her most of it was or would be but that was great ok.They were on early by 30 min on move in day and my father met them. I received a text that they did not take everything. If it wasn’t packed properly they left it, along with electronics like my television, computer, etc. I mean who keeps a box for those things. Then even left a whole bin.I also paid for them to take items to the dump and somehow one item ended up behind my complex garbage that I had labeled clearly for the dump (as everything was labeled) with no disregard for the sign that says no dumping furniture or mattresses or you will be fined $100. I was the only one moving that day, you can guess how that talk went with my property manager.I asked two men and a truck about this specifically Kevin and he said they could refund me $60. That was essentially the dump fee but he thought I wouldn’t know this. He said it was reducing the price of the men hourly.Yes the men packed my storage to the ceiling literally and I cannot unpack it myself. They did not put the 2 items I asked to the front. Only one and it costs me hundreds to have that other item remained to me since I could not reached it with. Valuable medical supplies and a clear not on every bin. My dad pointed out everything to them.Niceness and professionalism only goes so far when the costs outweigh the benefits. I have now lost more with this move than gained from getting movers.When I asked how do you plan to reimburse for this beyond $60 I was placed on hold and he said he cannot but leave a review and give him 5 stars because he gave me good service and the movers because they were professional and I liked them and just leave comments and feedback so he can share with the crew. That is not how a review works. People stop reading after the 5 stars. I have 2 masters in psychology sir. People need to know that things are not acceptable and just estimating better will not help the problem here.Moreover they should have a main company line to call, even if it’s the office cell, many office cell phones were really confusing and unprofessional to me as I had no idea who was calling and I received 3 different calls from 3 different numbers from this company.I work with 4 doctors and 1 was about to move and I had no idea when I told him about this move and you just lost a customer before he even began searching for his moving company.

While the movers were nice, they did a TERRIBLE job packing and moving our things. We had them pack our things and move them to a storage unit until our house was ready so we are just now seeing how horribly they packed everything. Boxes are falling apart from the bottom when picked up, popping open on the top, and stuff is just thrown in there instead of packed with any type of care. On moving day, we were a little annoyed at how messy the movers were (leaving food wrappers & water bottles everywhere) and the fact that they were leaving random things behind (not things on the list of items movers can’t take) yet packing things like a stove knob, but we let it go. Now that we see just how atrocious a job they did it is truly infuriating. We paid good money for terrible work. We will never use them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE USE THEM!! I have never left a google review in my entire life, but this is terrible enough that it has prompted my first. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment and find different movers!

Had a move and delivery performed on March 7th 2020, with a team of three, Khalil (Team Leader), Elton, and another guy that I cant remember his name.Problems with the service:-Delivered over 50% of our items in the wrong location.[Backstory] At the beginning, they were very courteous and respectful. Khalil went over paperwork with me and had me check off all of the inspection paperwork. The packing and loading went well. No complaints. Fast forward to the delivery and unloading... while I was there, I had no issues as I was directing them to the rooms. I got pulled away from my house for a bit and left them with my wife and little one. Apparently while I was gone, the team stopped checking in with my wife and proceeded to roll all of our boxes around our house into our basement. Only certain boxes were to be put down there, which most were either labeled or had the picture on the box. When I got back home, the team was wrapping up, I took back over and didnt think twice about the placement of our items because I assumed that the labels and my wife being here to tell them would suffice. After they had left, I then discovered that all of our boxes were in the basement. Things clearly labeled, i.e. Kitchen, Living Room, Baby Room, etc. All in all this resulted in me spending two hours tracking all of the boxes back upstairs to the second and third floors. I attempted to call the office, left a voicemail for someone to call me back, but I havent received a call yet.[Result] In hindsight, I take responsibility for checking off the inspection box so early in the process and assuming that everything was properly loaded as they had done such a great job of placing everything were it should be while I was home. My wife was also there (and easily accessible) the entire time, so it is not like they didnt have anyone to ask if they werent sure where something needed to go. However, I know how these things work, and once you check off the box, you are basically signing over your complaint rights, which is the only reason why I am not giving them a one star.At the end of the day, our stuff was moved to our new house, but the lack of professionalism and trust from the two men and a trucks team is what severely inconvenienced us with this move. People using this service should not have to supervise the movers every step of the way and I would think that people would have the common decency to do the right thing...especially when its the service that you provide. As my payment of $1,325 has already been made, and I am sure that I am not getting a call back, hopefully this helps someone else turn the other way and choose another company. I will never recommend two men and a truck to anyone who ask. If you are considering this and have made it to the end of this review....Please take my advice, DO NOT sign any inspection paperwork, be sure to do a post inspection with the guys before they leave, and just simply choose another company.

Guys were very professional & put me at ease. Very easy to work with. They told me that the company would also pack & unpack you. This was my first time using a moving company since friends & family normally do it. This kept peace all around in my opinion.

I do not recommend this place to anyone who values your items and personal belongings. Two guys showed up with a truck and that is where the accuracy of the service they offer stops.First, they arrived late.Second, one guy spends 25 min taking a dump in my bathroom, leaving the other guy alone to do move things himself.Third, they get lost on the way to the moving location-with all of our stuff despite it literally being one road to follow.Fourth, after the move we noticed our $1k Bowflex machine that I purchased less than 3 months ago is broken. The power unit is completely snapped off and cannot be fixed or replaced. Luckily, our security camera recorded the entire thing and it records audio. The two men push the machine over the ledge of my front door and you hear a huge SNAP and CRACK. Then you see them push it back to inspect the damage. One even bends down to pick something up.So they literally hide the fact that they broke my machine.I file a claim immediately with the company and of course they give me a pathetic excuse and offer me $85.So if you want your stuff broken and the smell of feces permeating into your living room during your move go for this place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and find a company that cares about customer service.RESPONSE TO OWNER: The men did not weigh our items-they even made it a point to tell us that they were in fact not going to weigh it. Also, the machine had wheels on it. They did not use the dolly because of the wheels. They wheeled it into the front door and that is when it snapped. Get your facts straight before you make baseless assumptions.

Very poor job. It took twice as much time as estimated and they damaged multiple walls. They couldn’t even get a washer up the stairs without help from my husband. We were told we wouldn’t have to do anything, but my husband was forced to do a lot of carrying. It took 6 hours to move 2 bedrooms and an office

We had the experience of moving a mile down the road and had to delay the move three times due to renovations on our new nest. Your customer service representatives were kind, responsive, and exceedingly helpful. No one made us feel guilty or lost patience(or even mentioned it)On the day of our move three young men arrive even thought we had payed for only two, of course this meant that potentially the move could be completed more quickly. We asked how we got so lucky and were told that your company was trying to keep everyone employed, we really appreciated that!Trey and his team were polite, efficient, organized, and strong. They moved everything with minimal instruction into its correct spot in a way smaller home complicated by steps and difficult entries and angles (its a co-housing townhouse) The whole experience was positive and professional and we will definitely recommend you to others, and use you again if the need arises. The team of three were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure our possessions were safely moved. We were given an estimate of 8 hours for the job and the team finished just over 5 hours.. in the rain! Saving us hundreds. We have a 600+ lb. piano that they handled with care. I will always call in this company for future moves. The team supervisor, Anthony, was a real pro.

My husband and I are so glad that we hired this company to move us. We had a local move from three storage units to our new build home. We had previously used local truck companies and then paid for labor independently at each location. Using two men and a truck company was seamless. The customer service was great, the laborers on the day of the move were professional, on time, and very efficient. They treated our furniture and our boxes with care. Their customer service was very responsive before during and after the move, making sure that we were confirmed for our date ahead and making sure that we had had a pleasant experience afterwards. The price was unbeatable; we had searched and done the math. There was no comparable company and individual labor in truck rental that could beat their combined labor and delivery price.

We had a move from NJ to NC. Everything fit well under a 26 truck for close to the max weight of 26k LB. The truck itself has an attic at the top of the driver seat section. Therefore, was able to fit more than a standard 26 truck. The drivers (Andy and Ramon) were very professional and pleasant. They wore masks and very careful on moving the furniture. Communication was excellent with the office and drivers. They keep me in close contact of the progress. Although they were late for an hour and had to change the arrival time due to traffic, it was no issue for us. We were lucky to find a return truck, therefore, the cost was lower. Thanks to Bellie who researched about the availabilities and schedules.

We had a very simple job: move the sparse and well-packed contents of a one-bedroom apartment to a house that was a three-minute drive away. We hired professionals hoping for a stress-free, damage-free move.The movers managed to tear a wheel off the frame of our bed and damage the wheel housing, such that the bed was rendered unusable. This made our first weeks at our new home incredibly stressful, because we had no bed and had to urgently obtain a new one. They also cracked the lids of two plastic boxes.I have moved multiple times over the last decade, often over long distances, and have *never* damaged any items in the process. It is appalling that professional movers managed to damage not one, not two, but THREE items, over a three-minute drive.Then, when I wrote to the damage claims person with pictures, I was told that the claims process would take *two weeks*, and that repairs from a third party company might be involved. This was despite the fact that I clearly stated in my first email that we had to get a new bed, thanks to the movers rendering ours unusable. It is not possible to repair twisted and jagged metal housing for wheels. Further, we most definitely would not have waited two weeks without a bed for repairs. Also the only repair possible for cracked plastic box lids is duct-taping.***I resent that this matter continues to take up our time and energy - compensation for damaged items should be swift, and the process should not further inconvenience the customer.***

Update to my last review from September, while detailed my absolutely horrendous experience with them:I sent them the claims form with all of the pictures of my damaged furniture (16 photos of separate scratches/dents to be exact) and they still have not responded. That was 6 weeks ago. They sent an email confirming that they received it the same day, but that was it. Take into account that this company is NOT BONDED OR INSURED. Hire at your own risk.

He is personable, professional, helpful, and attentive to detail. He and Kyle arrived within the time range I was told to expect. They worked well and managed to use their time effectively, not wasting time but also not rushing which could lead to mistakes. This was a local move that involved multiple stops and they handled each leg of the process effectively. Two men and a truck did a an amazing job filling me in on the moving process, all of the costs associated with it (they are a really great deal for local moves), and how to set up and prepare for my move. On the day of, my partner and I started packing. In 3 hours, we had a few boxes done and none of the furniture ready. Our movers called when they were on their way, did a walk-through of what needed to get done, and started the pack and ship process. In less than 2 hours, everything else was packed, wrapped, and loaded onto the truck in a quick and efficient way. We got to the storage unit, and everything was unloaded and packed away in less than 20 minutes. They are all really friendly and professional. Literally made what would have been an entire weekend-long move into a hassle-free half-day one. I will definitely keep using them.

While Two Men and a Truck were definitely not the cheapest estimate I received, they were the only ones who offered to do a major out-of-state move in 2 days, versus making me wait 7-10 days for my items on a large tractor trailer. Robert and Magdelino (my movers) were absolutely fantastic and made sure that everything was safe, delivered into the right location, and fast.The whole process was very transparent and I am so glad that we opted to hire Two Men and a Truck.

I have used 2 men and a truck several times recently, and each time I have been quite pleased with their responsiveness, professionalism and speed of service. I always feel as if my goods will be taken care of and will get to where they need to be in a timely manner. I will certainly be using this service for any future moves that I have.

If you value your possessions I highly recommend you do not choose to move with this company. Highlights - broken furniture sustained when walking directly into house without needed clearance (update since the company felt the need to be inaccurate in their response: and the company refuses to reimburse me for the proper weight of the item. First they opted without discussion to cut a check for “general estimated weight. I argued that my bed weighs much more than that. I then searched online to find a “similar” style bed by a random manufacturer to demonstrate that fact and also stated I was waiting for the actual manufacturer to send me the true weight of the bed. They did adjust the reimbursement to the “comparable bed” and again abruptly closed the claim. However, when the manufacturer came back within a day of this now being closed a second time and the weight was even more the company will not adjust the claim and is insisting they provided compensation on the actual bed, which in not true. Really if you are going to provide insurance based on weight there needs to be a way to actually weight an item, which has been refused likely I assume because they are not able to do that, though they won’t state this), poorly packed resulted in wasted time to reorganize and even some items may need to be left behind (update again secondary to rebutted- They state my move was 15% les than estimate. The estimate was provided site unseen. The move should have taken 4.5-5hrs (actual time 6,5hrs) based on the items I had already moved including 95% of the boxes and several smaller pieces of furniture (note I have moved at least 5 times now which is why I know how long it takes to move my items), damage sustained to the walls of my home and one of the movers decided COVID precautions on the second part of the move were not necessary as he did not wear a mask. The only positive regarding this company is that they did send someone over to repair the walls and rug.

Terrance and Dallas did great moving our items quickly, safely, and efficiently. We assumed it would take about 4 hours for the full move and they finished moving a two bedroom apartment to a new 3 story home in less that 3 hours! I would highly recommend.

I’ve never in my life used a moving company but really glad I took the chance with this company. My movers were named Anthony and Shaquan and both were personable yet professional. They moved my items with care. I plan to use this company again and request the same two movers (if possible) in the near future.

Really depends on who you get, my experience with them has been 50/50. I’ve used them 4 times and that will be the last. Their efficiency and service quality is not consistent. I’ve had 2 great moves and 2 bad ones. I called to express the issues and nothing was done.

This was literally the easiest move of my life! I was slightly worried about the quoted rate, but my movers, Thomas and Bryce, were friendly and efficient, which made the most much faster and therefore much cheaper. They took great care of my belongings and made sure to check in with me regarding where I wanted things placed, so that itd be easier later when I started unpacking boxes. I would highly recommend Two Men and a Truck no matter how far you are moving or how much stuff you have!

Thomas and James were on time (even offered to arrive early but I wasnt ready!), extremely efficient and professional, and all around made the experience as painless and pleasant as possible. They went above and beyond to make sure my furniture was wrapped securely as I was storing it in a garage for a few days. They worked quickly but carefully. I highly recommend these guys it was worth every penny!

Setting up our move was easy, and we felt our needs were understood. Communication was great. The “two guys” who moved us were also great - punctual, professional, careful, personable. They were quick, but took appropriate precautions, and no items were damaged in any way. Would definitely hire again.

I have done many moves in my life and Two Men and a Truck and had a wonderful experience with them! I had a last minute move into a storage facility and they were able to accommodate me with only 5 days notice. They provided excellent service, were very responsive and honest with their estimate and pricing. The moving crew was very professional and so much fun to work with (even though it was 90 degrees)! Ill be using them again to move out of storage and into my new place. I would not hesitate to recommend.

The team of three men were on time, super quick, and great movers. They were smart and didnt initially pack items that may be needed, like keys, medicine, etc. How many times has a mover wrapped up your trash and shipped it anyways??! These guys set things aside and asked.They worked so hard and were done with my 2100 sq ft house before 5pm. Only going 3 miles away to a storage facility.

She gave me a very competitive quote, but most important- she was super professional and knowledgeable. She answered every email quickly and I knew that by choosing Two Men- Ill have someone to count on. The entire time of all the team was actually amazing.When the moving day came, the moving team - Andy and Ramon, were super kind, accurate and fast. They wrapped the furniture and made sure everything was good with us. They also arrived right on time the day after to unload our furniture and asked us where we wanted every furniture and didnt rest until we liked it.After the stories I heard from friends about moving companies and stuff that went wrong, I highly recommend to pick Two Men and a Truck. We hired two men and a truck to move back in April, during the early days of the Pandemic. I thought Two Men and a Truck would be safer since they promised all their movers would be wearing masks and gloves (they changed extra for this). I was disappointed to find none of them were in masks/gloves or any PPE at all. Movers go inside peoples homes and interact with people all over the city; this is a huge and unnecessary risk, and Im extra mad that we were charged extra...

Did not end up hiring then but they respond quickly and personably.

Jorge and Alvaro were the two men who helped us move! They did an amazing job packing and moving our furniture. We were impressed with how well they moved everything and nothing was messed up! They were responsive to phone calls

Movers were very careful with out belongings, as well as our house. No dinged up corners, no damage to any belongings. Guys were still going strong after a long 7-8 hours of moving our stuff out of pods. Very happy with their professionalism. Highly recommend.

Sherodd and Fred (our moving team) did a fabulous job. Two of the hardest working guys I’ve ever been around. That’s a tall order as I just retired after working 40 years in a very labor intensive industry and have seen a lot of great people.They worked hard, stayed on task and were very courteous and professional. Two Men and a Truck did a great job of moving us in the middle of a July heat wave! They were very efficient and courteous. It was a local move, so the process of moving us out of an apartment into our new home took 4 hours. Would definitely hire them again!

Robert and Dominic from Two Men and a Truck were excellent. They were on time, efficient, great communicators, and worked really well together as a team to get our bulky move completed. I really appreciated that they were very careful with our furniture and got everything into our new home without damaging anything. They even found creative ways to get our huge Crate & Barrel leather sectional and Peloton up stairs with very tight turns and narrow hallways. I will definitely use Two Men and a Truck next time I move, and I will specifically request Robert and Dominic again. Highly recommend!!!
