Our experience was excellent and easy. The customer service was the best we have ever received with storage company. The facility is clean, well lit, and easy to navigate. There are hand trucks and flatbeds available for easy loading and unloading. I highly recommend StoreSmart Storage.

We had a fine time storing our things here, but per company policy they will not prorate when you move out...Make sure you get move-out paperwork from them before the end of the month or they charge you for another month entirely.Disappointed in their customer service...

Delighted with the outstanding customer service provided to me today from Leslie Reosenski. Unfortunately we dropped off our rental truck to their location last night and today we found out that they were unable to accept the truck at their location. Leslie reached out to me and explain the situation in a very calm and nice tone. As a newbie to the area she provided details on where to go to return the rental.Regarding charges - all in the process of being resolved again because of Leslies support. This location has the friendliest, most professional staff in the Triangle! When I was suddenly in need of a second unit literally the day before Thanksgiving, Brian treated me like family, showing me unit and budget-friendly options! I was able to unload and get on the road to family in minutes!

Great space and clean facility. They have very reasonable rental prices as well. I love the security that’s StoreSmart provides. Brian was super helpful, friendly, and professional. He took the time out to take me to look at my reserved unit before finalizing everything to ensure the space I reserved was going to be big enough for my stuff. He was super informative of what I can expect to pay each month and getting me taken care of. He made the process really seamless. They have great discounts too!

I am sad to say this is my first bad review. I read the reviews online and I went in to inquire on storage. I am sorry to say the level of service was one of worst I have been faced with. The manager was rude, had zero care for the new customer and simply didnt care about me or finding my needs. She showed me a DIRTY unit. What in the world!!!! It was not clean at all!!!! The property was dirty with debris all over the inside doors. There were rat droppings on the floor by the units. The latch was barely operable on the unit she showed me. The parking was bad. There were trucks parked all around the property. There is no place to drive your truck when moving in. I will never rent here. Sad and disgraceful. Horrible is all I can say!!!!

The units are climate controlled, clean, and lively music is played in the background to ease the monotony of being in quiet environment when moving stuff in and out.

Sad to leave, but I knew for the last 2 and a half years my things were safe. Leslie and Paul are phenomenal. Anything I needed I could always depend on them... even that one time my door was attach to something that fell.....Leslie helped me even when she had the flu. If I need a storage unit again.. I know where I coming back too.

I contacted the office around noon today, 3/16, and spoke with Leslie. When I asked for their military rates, her response was “can I call you back later this afternoon, I don’t have the time to look up the prices right now because we have a truck that is about to come in.” My husband is returning from serving Active Duty orders sooner than we anticipated, and needed a unit by this weekend. I informed him of this response and we WILL NOT be doing business with them.

Convenience and easy access are highlights of the Durham Self Storage on TW A;lexander. The staff is very friend and helpful in making a selection for the appropriate storage area for a customer. It is very easy to sign up and gain access quite quickly. Numerous carts are provided to assist in removing items from your car or truck and to put them into storage. The climate is well controlled by temperature and humidity. This has proven to be an ideal storage facility for both short-term and long-term. It is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, and we heartily endorse the organization and staff.

Brian and Leslie were hands down AMAZING!!! They handled my unit with a true sense of urgency and care and didnt even mind the kiddos!!!

Awful experience very rude and non helpful. Arrogant and ignorant employees. Manager seemed racial also because the phone conversation the day before went just fine but the next day when I got there it was total chaos from being rude to remark about how many years she has been on the job which had nothing to do with anything. The worst experience ever I would never recommend this place to anyone.
