Other than a mix up due to a newer call center agent, it was a great experience. David was awesome! Very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He did a fantastic job of educating me on my system and what was done for me. He did a thorough job and I would recommend and already have recommended to several of my friends and coworkers! Our AC recently stopped functioning in its normal capacity. We were experiencing only one zone triggering and that one zone was not cooling the room at at all. No one could come out to help us for days. Goettl was able to come out the next day thankfully.Justin was incredibly helpful, professional, meticulous, and communicative on what he was doing, what he was thinking, and what the plan was for figuring the issue out. Within hours he had us back up and running. I would highly recommend this company and their tech simply for the patience and professionalism with which they conduct themselves.

OCTOBER 27, BENTON & STRYKER PERFORM THE YEARLY TUNE UP ON MY FURNACE. THEY DID A VERY THROUGH INSPECTION OF THE ENTIRE HEATING UNIT & EXPLAINED EACH STEP & REASON IT WAS BEING DONE. Scheduled a Fall tune up on my AC unit. My technician, Joseph Cox, was extremely helpful. Diagnosed a faulty part & replaced it under warranty. As he was finishing up, my grandsons arrived. **YET ANOTHER UPDATE**Jeff Finally returned my husbands multiple calls... Sent out 2 very senior repairman who were yet again Amazing. Long story short... They didnt find an issue and said that they would refund us for a relay we had paid for and the motor that we did not need.... Its now been past 7-10 business days and we have not seen a refund nor are we getting any return calls from Jeff (Surprise Surprise). Whoever is Jeffs manager really need to have him take a course in customer service and apparently how to pick up a phone. Unfortunately for us... Since Goettl installed the unit and we paid for the yearly maintenance we will continue to use them until we move out of this house soon. But would I ever recommend Goettl to anyone... NO! However I will say... Their saving grace is their customer service reps who answer the phone and get stuck dealing with angry people that the upper management seems to upset.*UPDATE*Since this review has been written we have been waiting about 48 hours to speak to a manager. The manager Jeff in Tucson is aware that we are waiting to speak to him and he has yet to reach out. We have spoken to multiple customer service agents (including a call from corporate telling us she was escalating this situation to her manager) that have all been Amazing. Sam yesterday waited with me on the line to get me in touch with Robert since we have been told each and every time that we call that a manager will be with us within 30-45 minutes.... And each time we call back they say they are putting in another request for a manager to call is back. I find it unbelievably irritating that on the positive review that was posted before, Goettl informs us to reach out for further assistance and yet no one can call us back... The only reason there is still a 2 star review in place of 1 is because every customer service agent we have spoken with has been awesome.*ORIGINAL POST*We came home from a small mini vacation with our kids to a warm home. We had used Goettl in the past to install our new air handler and condenser unit outside. Another great experience. This past Thursday when we got home I called Goettl and they scheduled us immediately and came out Friday mid-morning. Joe C. Was not only friendly and beyond helpful but an actual pleasure to have in our home. We have 2 children and he not only engaged us but them as well. We will always use Goettl and if I can request anyone to come I will certainly request Joe C again. Thank you again Goettl.Heather L.

This is the first time I use Goettl air conditioning and plumbing, after I spoke to a representative and described the plumbing issue they took my information and gave me a time frame between 2 and 6 pm. The company is licensed and bonded, their technicians undergo a background check and drug screening and comply with the current social distancing protocols as well as face mask and shoe coverings at the time they meet you at your place. The estimate fee is waived if you decide to go ahead with the repair and they definitely come prepared for everything when it comes to parts and tools. John Franks was our plumbing technician, no only he showed up soon after the time frame started but literally went above and beyond explaining the issues sending us before and after pictures .We did not feel any type of pressure he was honest, respectful, we had a great experience.We strongly recommend John Franks for any type of plumbing needs as well as Goettl AC and Plumbing . Our invoice was emailed right after the repair was completed. Great experience!!!!

I just want to give a hectic shout out to JESUS who absolutely crushed it fixing my HVAC today. Wow, what an absolutely stellar guy. Strongly recommend this gentleman receives multiple raises for his above and beyond customer service. As a company, you are lucky to have an employee like JESUS. A master diagnostic technician, he was in and out in record time. After thoroughly explaining the issue to me he took the time to answer all of my questions. Excellent service.

Joe and David are literally the definition of perfect customer service! They were polite, friendly, informative, funny, and very educational. They happily answered all of my questions while teaching me about was going on with my system. Having AC issues in Arizona in the middle of summer is never fun, but they made this experience as enjoyable as it could be. I cannot recommend these two enough.

I worked with John who was personable, friendly and outgoing. Throughout the process of getting my new water softener John would let me know exactly what he was doing. He also was very knowledgeable on how the water softener work and helped me to understand how my investment would be beneficial. Such a good experience with Goettl today, my AC stopped working and I was able to online book an appointment for the next morning which I thought was super convenient. The technician (Marty) was right on time, super friendly, and so helpful. There were many issues with my unit and Marty was not deterred by any of it. He educated me on the parts he was replacing and my AC is now running perfectly. I also felt the prices were reasonable and I wasn’t pushed in any way. I can’t recommend Goettl enough and if you do book a service, request Marty.

Luis and Adrian were here at my home this AM and did an amazing job and the AC is working phenomenal. Being at work all day and coming home to a cooling house is no comparison. DO NOT GET THE GUARD DOG MEMBERSHIP... It is a rip off. I tried cancelling 3 months ago and they continue to charge me monthly. The membership is just a method for the company to give a sales pitch about things they want you to buy from them even though your systems may be completely fine. EVERYTHING is overpriced. You can get much better value and quality work from other companies.

Well the first tech that came to look at the system came An HR late after the 3hr window which was 4-7. He didnt show up till about 8:30pm and by the time he got there he acted like he didnt want to work. He actually asked my husband to take the pictures for him. After he told us it would cost us $3000. To fix our ac and it probably wouldnt fix it. We opted in to getting a new ac unit. Now the two techs Adrian and Louis that came to install the ac were amazing and had great customer service. And were appalled that the first tech said it was gonna cost so much to fix.

My water heater pilot light would not relight. The company that installed it 8 months ago came out 2 days ago, spent 4 hours here and left without fixing it. I called Goettl. Their technician, Jacob, came out today. He was on time, professional and friendly. I explained the problem, and within 35 minutes he had the problem fixed and I have hot water again. The price was amazingly fair and I signed up for their protection club. BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH ANY COMPANY. Thank you Jacob and thank you Goettl. You have a customer for life.

Our consultant was Tim, very personable and knowledgeable. He helped us select quality products with our price range. The installers Ronnie and Johnny were very clean and hard working. Talking to them I know they took the time to do things right. It has been a week since weve had our air conditioner and furnace installed- love it, love it! Even though we did not get the best product Goettl had to offer, our home is cool, the air-conditioner runs quietly. The team very helpful!

Goettl was a really cool professional AC company that came out to diagnose what was wrong with my HVAC system in a really timely manner. I ended up not going with them because my home warranty would not contract with them, however the technician Marty was super helpful and very kind. He explained the possible causes and gave me an intermittent solution while waiting for an appointment to get the system fixed. In the future if my home warranty does pick them up, or I need a quick diagnosis I’ll be sure to go with them.

Goettl is a fantastic company and life saver for me. They came out professionally AND ON A SUNDAY, to fit in MY schedule. It was hot but Manuel Valdez, OUR TECHNICIAN, was great. On time ON A SUNDAY (no extra charge) to do the maintenance on my air unit and plumbing.He made recommendations (which are in fact needed); HOWEVER he did not push product on me, didn’t tell me could get it done for xyz$ and I really appreciated that! If he hadn’t come on a Sunday I didn’t know what i could do.Manuel brought some accessories I needed from his shop AND DIDN’T forget them! Manuel is professional, on time and I can’t get over the fact he would help me on a Sunday ALL WITH NO additional charge!All I can say is, I’m so happy Goettl and I are partners and I hope they send Manuel anytime they need to come out here!Lastly, thank you Goettl for being my partner for my air unit and plumbing needs!

Jacob was awesome! Water was tested and deemed clean. He didnt try to pressure me into buying something I didnt need. He signed us up for the monthly club maintenance, which we think is great idea. Also Robert was so nice to me on the phone. Soon after the visit, Robert called to schedule us for HVAC and Plumbing maintenance. So everyone I dealt with today at Goettl were amazing!!!

Hands down the BEST customer service experience Ive had in years...and I genuinely mean that. We had a plumber in our house for 2 days who was unable to unclog our drain, but MARK (with Goettl) was able to unclog our drain that other plumbers were not able too. He was in and out within an hour and a half, communicated everything he was doing and made recommendations for how to avoid further clogs without trying to upsell me. When Goettl says we do it the right way, not the easy way, they mean it. I cant thank MARK enough for his phenomenal experience and service.-Dani G

My water heater quit working, and I was scheduled an appointment for the next day. David and Mark came and gave me all my options and a lot of good information. I went with a new tankless heater and a water softener system, and they installed the same day, and were so friendly and professional. John and Mark installed the systems and could not have been nicer, more thorough and provided great information and service. They made a very stressful day much less so, because I felt confident that they knew what they were doing, were honest, and gave me great advice. When John, the technician showed up to perform the work, he was friendly, professional, and informative. He also went above and beyond and repaired a door and a couple of fence slats just out of kindness and concern for my safety.

Marty Hendricks is amazing. He has been repairing Air Conditioners since he was 11 years old. I instantly trusted him when he walked up and introduced himself with a firm handshake. He got right to work on my 23 year old Rheem AC and diagnosed and fixed the problem. He lifted the lid on the unit and found an old disintegrated air filter on the the evaporator coils which was not supposed to be there. Three previous technicians from other companies did not even lift the lid on the unit and missed this obvious problem. My AC is working great again. I was only charged 79$.A tech from another company wanted to charge me 2000$ for a new blower and capacitor. He did not even open the AC cover.I called Goettl for a second opinion and I am glad I did.In the near future when we replace the AC for a new system we will hire Goettl to install and Maintain.Thank you Goettl and Marty!!Sincerely,Jeffrey M Rice, MD

Goettl does a very poor job of communicating with their customers. They failed to keep appointments on two different occasions and did not call to let us know that they wouldn’t be there .The first appointment was a 12-3 PM appointment. When I called at 2:30 to see if they were coming they wanted to push it out to later that evening but we had prior commitments so had to reschedule . I scheduled the next appointment out a few days so that we could schedule early in the day, 8-11AM. When I called mid morning to see if the technician was still coming I was told we would have to push that appointment out also. The technician arrived at 4PM and was able to resolve the problem.I’ve found Goettl technicians to be friendly and competent but have been disappointed in the scheduling staff’s willingness to keep the customer informed.

UPDATE 07.20.21 - I finally rcvd a call back after submitting this review. I was able to get an onsite quote for the garage ac unit - Tim Gordon was a pleasure to have over & provide the quote as well as other advice. Re the PWR Outage: I was told that it happens from time to time and in order to prevent it we would need to install a surge protector. I was told this should have been offered from the get-go. They were able to send a technician (Dave, I believe) out to install it in the attic as well as the outside with the unit. -- this is just a couple hours in, so we shall see how it holds up.From 1 star to 3.07/12/21 - SO MANY ISSUES:We paid for a new AC unit on June 28th and it stopped working 2 weeks later after a power outage; July 9th.In between then, I had called to get a quote on installing an additional unit in our garage - only because the initial process had gone so smoothly.The customer service rep stated that in order to receive a quote I would have to schedule an Onsite Advisor to come out to our home - Which I did.On 07/09 (@ 9 am) - was the scheduled time for the advisor to come to our home AND also the day our AC unit stopped working.I first called to see where the Advisor was, as it was 11am and they had not shown up. I then find out that Goettl does NOT give onsite quotes in Tucson; that is only available in Phoenix - This mistake should not have happened, since I gave the Customer service rep my home address IN TUCSON. - The 2nd customer service rep told me they would have a project manager call me and fix the new quote issue.In between me waiting for the project managers call we figured out our new AC unit had stopped working and the house was not cooling off (it was now reading 80 degrees on our thermostat and it was only going to get hotter)I then called Goettl a 2nd time that day to request a tech to come out and fix the issue as this had just hit the 11 day mark of the new AC unit being installed. I was told that we were Next in line. A tech was completing one job and he would be right over to our home.3 hrs passed and no tech. I called again to get an estimated time and was now told that the tech was finishing up a job, there is one more job ahead of us and we would be after the completion of THAT job - COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE FIRST CALL!Then I received a call from the project manager re the requested quote - I informed him of the mistake that was made on Goettls part that it was already past 11am and we still had a no-show for both the quote on the garage unit and our newly installed AC unit. He told me he understood and would call to see what was going on and call me back. - HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK.Another couple hours passed and no tech and no calls back from Goettle.I called again and was told by a customer rep that they would send out an email to all managers informing them of our issues and they would call me back - NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACKOur tech finally showed up and fixed the issue - Transformer blew out.Heres my issue with that....The picture they took of the blown transformer that THEY installed was of a burned (quote on their invoice) MELTED (picture shows that it actually melted) transformer/wires. How in the world does that happen from a 1 time power outage? What if there was a fire that followed in the attic?In the end we are still left with questions and no answers. I would like to receive a call from a manager informing us in detail how the error happened and should we expect this issue to come up again? If so, how can we get it handled IMMEDIATELY? How does a transformer melt after a quick power outage? Its monsoon season in Tucson and power outages happen all the time. Will we have this issue every time there is a storm / power outage? - never had it before with our old AC unit. I am sitting here worried every time a storm warning goes out. Will my AC unit suddenly stop working? Will it be a headache to get a tech to fix the issue? Will there be a FIRE this time in our attic and we do not realize it until its too late?

Shane was fast and professional and fixed some issues another company wanted 4x as much to do. They were the first too call me back and didnt act bothered or put out like some other companies did. They came out within 2 days during the busiest time of year (plus I called them on a Saturday night - came out Monday morning!) fixed everything in a couple hours and everything has been working great since (its been a week). He also educated us and our tenant on our unit and its care without being condescending at all. Very glad the other companies never called us back so we could find Goettl. Will likely be sticking with them for all our rentals as well as our main home in the future.

Had an appointment last week and they canceled it and came back five days later. The technician was nice but took a little long to do the preventive maintenance. He he was new and didnt know their system. Oh I waited three weeks for this appointment.Well after about ten days went by and guess what my 3yr old A/C unit froze up and I called Goettl and Marty came out and informed me that the TXV valve was bad in my unit and he tried to get it to work but it still was freezing up. This was 27 August 2021. He informed me that if they did the repair it could cost around $900.00 dollars to fix. I called the company that installed the unit and found out today 30 August 2021 it was going to take 2-3 weeks for the part to come in. I called Goettl four times today trying to get some info on how much they would charge me to repair the unit myself. I spoke with someone and she informed me that someone would call me today that she put in an emergency response to call me tonight since I havent had any A/C since Friday and as of this review at midnight still no call. I have the Sadie plan that I have purchased through this company. I am not changing my three stars due to the fact that Marty went out of his way to try and fix the issue himself. Condoles to Marty and tell him thanks.

I purchased a new heat pump April 14, 2021. Never heard back from the company to follow up. Never called to see how things were going. Never came out to check the unit. June 12, 2021 the unit would not run. They sent a tech out. It was overcharged during install and the system shut itself down like it was supposed to. July 9, 2021, its doing the same thing. Service call has been made. I am sure they will send someone out. But, 3 months after install this is the 2nd time this has happened.I could have saved a ton of money by band aiding my old unit. I chose to purchase a new unit so I wouldnt be inconvenienced by a unit shutting off and waiting for a tech.I feel as though they took my money and never cared enough to do a follow up and Im beginning to wonder if the unit is faulty or they set it up to fail for the service call.Not happy with my purchase.

I called to have repairs made and Had to wait 4 days to get an appointment and they never showed. I called again and they apologized, gave me a $50 credit and scheduled another appointment for the next day. They never showed again! The third time the repair man came as scheduled, quickly figured out the problem, made repair and did a few other small things. He was great and is the only reason that I gave this company 3 stars. Had he not been as polite, responsible and done a great job I would have given this company 1 star.

Seems like they are all talk about service but then the maintenance program is not available! THREE TIMES I have made appointments for service, TWICE they were NO SHOWS and they did not even bother to call. Once they did call the day of to reschedule. I am still trying to get management to call me back. Whats the point of having a membership program? Disgusted

The guy didnt know what was wrong, instead of fixing the problem he tried to sell me a $20,000 new unit. After i said no thanks he said maybe a cleaning will fix it, he charged me $400 for a cleaning that i couldve done in 5 minutes and free. The problem persisted, i had to call a different company and they changed the motherboard, now my ac works.

I called this company because my AC was broken and I needed someone to come out and fix it. Not only was I on hold for 20 minutes before anyone answered, but when they did the lady (who was very nice btw) took down my information to have someone call me and get sent out. This was DAYS ago and till this day no one has ever called me to come out to my home. I even was put down as emergency services to have someone out ASAP but here we are… ended up going with another company because apparently this one didn’t want my business. Very disappointing considering all of the ads for this company preach that they do things “the right way not the easy way” yet they can’t even bother to call me back to come out to my home and do a simple repair.

Our AC and Furnace were installed by Goettl. Theyre not even 5 years and they are constantly breaking down. They make a lot of promises in their marketing about sending someone out right away and doing things the right way, but that has been the opposite of our experience. Goettl has been extremely hard to work with. Theyre always much later than the window theyve given us - typically 3-4 hours after they say theyll arrive. Our AC has been out for the last 24 hours and customer service keeps saying dispatch will call me. Well I have yet to hear from dispatch and my first call to customer service was yesterday afternoon. Its been over 110 the last few days in AZ and this is unacceptable and dangerous. They dont return calls, theyre never on time, and theyre more expensive than other companies. Ill be cancelling my Sadies maintenance service and finding another company to service our AC, HVAC, and plumbing.

Setup an appointment for 2 to 5 on Labor day. I received a call 3 hours earlier saying that the technician Benton Baxter was on his way. He was very friendly and professional. He listened to what I had tried and tested on my own and took it seriously rather than writing it off. Luckily, the issue was minimal and Ben had it fixed in less than an hour.

Dylon Lott, John Franks, Mark Espinosa, Zachary Anderson: Earned a pay raise. Dylon explained in detail, but in easy to understand terms the systems (Water Heater, and Water Treatment System). As well as how the complete installation was to proceed. John, Mark, and Zachary, did a terrific job. Not only they did the work in a relative short time, but professionally. We scheduled TWICE, a month apart. They canceled the first time and then said oh the soonest we can get out now is in a month. We were charged with no one EVER showing up to our home. We received phone calls 30 minutes before scheduled appointment cancelling. When we called after the first time we were told the tech had several emergencies so no time for us. The second time, a month later, we were told there were others with no air that they had to get to. We are having issues with our air and knew we had this appointment scheduled and they blew us off… AGAIN… I called and asked for a refund, we will take our business elsewhere.
