Got my new SUV today! Ashley and Danny were perfect in making this whole process as smooth as possible. I have to say that Ashley, in the guest experience department, who facilitated almost every part of the transaction from start to finish was amazing. She followed up daily, even if it was after hours to make sure the process was perfect. Have never received customer service like this at any dealership. Definitely recommend Sonic automotive, BMW of Montgomery, and Ashley Smith if you want a smooth car buying experience!

I recently bought a pre-owned Chevrolet Silverado from BMW of Montgomery. When I test drove the vehicle the ride was pretty bumpy. They are next to the Chevy place so they went over to balance the tires and said they serviced the recall on the vehicle. I signed the papers.. got a decent deal and trade in but they only reached out to a couple of banks. They didn’t seem real concerned with trying to get me the best financing and my wife and I have pretty good credit. On the way home, the tires were not balanced still and the airbag light was in where they did the “recall.” I took the truck to a tire place and ended up having to buy a new tire for $350 plus labor. The tire shop said there was no way the tires would ever balance because it had one bad tire. The truck had not been cleaned up at all either. Overall I would have bought the truck because I liked it and there aren’t many like it out there. But I feel like I could have gotten better service and more honesty somewhere else.

I dont know if its because we pulled up in an old truck, but I changed my plan to do a test drive as Im in the market for a new car. Then the sole salesperson was sitting in one of the floor model cars listening to music and did not want to be disturbed to sell a car. Then when we walked out to the car I was interested in outside, the door was locked and so we had to wait outside while she slowly walked in to get the keys. By the time she returned I was not only hot but tired of her attitude, so I just decided I would find another place to test and/or purchase a car.

To have the ability to operate my car using my iPhone is TOP NOTCH 🔥🔥🎉🎉 (No physical key needed) 💯We were thrown a few loops but nevertheless Madison and Daniel tagged teamed the issue and made it a success! I arrived at the dealership earlier than my appointment time. My appointment was at 7:30, I waited in my car until 7:55. I was never approached by my service advisor. Marcus Flourney walked all around my vehicle, he even assisted another customer parked behind me. Bryan walked by my car smiled and acknowledged my presence. I am so disappointed today. I would like to blame the fact that I am a woman who was there alone. However I had a scheduled appointment. The dealership is awful!!! My money was not wanted, they don’t care about the customers. I hope no one treats Marcus’ family the way he is treating his customers!!!

This is the worse BMW ever. Ive tried calling their service department everyday for two weeks to schedule a service appointment and they never answer the phone. This has been the worse location to be stationed for military when it comes to getting my vehicle properly maintenance.

Really personable and outstanding dealership!! I had never been to this dealership before, and I was highly impressed! My car had a major repair, and they were excellent at communicating and very accommodating to me when it was first brought in. Bryan, my service advisor, is wonderful!! He worked with me on figuring out what I needed to do when I learned of the repairs needed, and he worked hard on my behalf relaying information! Sandy, at the service center desk, also deserves a medal!! I talked to her dozens of times throughout my car’s stay there, and she is just excellent! So kind and amazing at getting info, and she’s the kind of person you’re so glad to answer the phone when your vehicle is away from you! 10/10 would recommend this dealership!! It’s going to be my new home dealership for a reason!

I bought a 2018 Audi Q3 on May 22nd. The car was quite nice. However, though I was told and given a document of vehicle inspection, the oil did not read on the dipstick when checked, coolant and washer fluid was low, and the Inspection Due indicator was on when I took the car home. I felt a little insulted by the salesman when he said that the oil reads different on an Audi. Ive been reading oil for many years and the oil read as expected after it was topped off. I spoke with a manager named Mr. Danny Howard and expressed my concern. He was empathetic, receptive and suggested that I take my car to the local Audi dealership (I live 150 miles north of Montgomery). The fluids were topped off and the Service Due indicator was reset.Thank you, Mr. Howard.

[1] BMW of Montgomery was a waste of money and time. I took my 2011 BMW 328i in to fix my headlight (that was cracked just on the cover), to get new license plate lights ($180), and replace and install new tire pressure sensors. The only one I ended up fixing was my license plate lights because my wires got messed up. BMW of Montgomery wanted $1000 to fix the crack in my headlight cover. The reason for this was because they said they had to replace the entire headlight. Of course I declined this service along with TPM sensors because they were charging a whopping $250 a tire for the sensors itself and installation. I just saved myself time and money by sending my car into Jim Whaley’s and they only charged $80 a tire (for the sensor and installation). [2] ANOTHER PROBLEM, I also wanted a backup camera installed. I have a boss radio that works with a backup camera and I also have a camera installed in the vehicle, I just needed the mechanics to install the camera into the CPU so that when I reverse the camera turns on. However BMW of Montgomery was unable to do this because my car did not support it. Although, they told me I could get it aftermarket and get it installed somewhere else. [3] ON TOP OF ALL THAT, they also told me I had a valve gasket leak and oil pan gasket leak. Now I know these are important so of course I had them fix that. It still wasn’t cheap though, charges about $900 for each of the leaks (valve gasket and oil pan gasket). [4] EVEN THOUGH, they said they claimed they lightly “cleaned” my BMW, they left a dirt/grim outline on my leather flooring in the my that was not cleaned or vacuumed. They should not leave a car dirtier than what was given to them. [5] LAST BUT NOT LEAST I had military discount applied to my final purchase, instead of %10 like most places they only took off $100. Let me remind you I had spent $950+$950+$180=$2080, only $100 (or approximately 5%) was the best they could do. Not sure why my service advisor, Marcus Flourney could not do better with the discount since he is also a veteran.

He waits two weeks later just to tell me they cant do my trans swap bc they dont do used parts. I bought a BMW X5 from this location in December 2020 after having a car accident that totaled my car, through no fault of my own. I could not find a car like the one I had, but always wanted the X5, so I bought mine here. I don’t normally leave google reviews but I felt strongly compelled to do so this time because I wanted to make sure that DANNY HOWARD got proper praise for the outstanding customer service he provided to me during the buying process and after. He accommodated my budget and made sure that I was completely satisfied with the vehicle that I purchased and he even ensured that I was taken complete care of when a minor problem happened after my purchase. With a positive attitude and a willingness to help, he completely resolved the problem when most people would have dismissed the issue since I purchased an “As Is” vehicle. He listened to my concerns in a genuine and professional manner and I can tell as someone who has been in the customer service field for a long time, that customer satisfaction and his company’s reputation is of upmost importance to him. Because of this, he will be who I buy my next car from. This dealership is fortunate to have such a hard working, customer oriented, professional working for them. I would also like to mention the service department here is top notch with great service advisors who patiently explain everything and thoroughly answer all questions.

For reference our visit was on 2-5-2020. This visit we were looking to purchase two 430 gran coupes. Our sales lady was amazing, Tynasia was awesome she allowed us to shop hassle free and fielded our questions well. The visit was awesome until we were promptly asked to leave at 658 pm immediately after returning from a test drive. We knew they closed at 7 and planned to end up the evening around then anyway. I do need to mention that we were asked to leave politely.But I will say for as often I purchase cars and visit car lots (purchased 6 cars in the last 2 years). This is the only car lot I have been kicked out around the closing time in 15 years on a potential sale. Today we are going to Columbus and Lagrange to find comparable options instead of returning.

It took over a month for them to send over my title to the tax office so I could get license plates. When I called and asked why they hadn’t sent the title, they first told me I should have the title, then told me they lost the title. It took me a week to sort out the truth and I eventually I found out they had never closed the deal (over 1 month after I purchased the car) because they claimed they didn’t have a copy of my insurance. I sent a copy of my updated insurance card the day after I purchased the car. In the month they claimed to not have a copy of the card they never once followed up to ask for the card in order to close the deal. They also took over 2 months to pay off my trade in and only did so when I called them to ask why it hadn’t been paid off (they simply told me they didn’t know why it hadn’t been done). Now I have a late payment on my credit report I’m having to dispute. This business is an absolute train wreck.

I had a good experience in the purchase of my second, brand new 2020 vehicle from BMW Montgomery; however, the dealership does not do a good job of out-of-state registration. Although we paid fees for BMW to register our vehicles, we ended up having to run point to make sure they both were completed in a timely manner, per our states law. We came out-of-pocket multiple times to get them registered (either to FedEx documents back and forth, cover unpaid registration fees, and/or provide documents that we had already given the dealership). I approached the dealership with this issue and perceived to have my integrity questioned instead. I gave them the email from our state’s registration office, and they wanted more “proof” and requested that I provide them a breakdown. This could have been resolved had they contacted the office themselves to figure out the disconnect. Bottom-line, if you are going to purchase a vehicle that requires out-of-state registration, I would recommend you plan for a lot of interceding to make sure it gets accomplished.

BMW of Montgomery is a class act, start to finish. I had to see them twice since, during the first visit, it was determined there were parts needed to be ordered. They promptly called me when the parts were in, scheduled me for that second visit, and then fixed me up 100%. The facility is very nice, offering niceties like TV, magazines, and hot & cold drinks (coffee, tea, water, etc.); however, as nice as all that is, the best part was the service I received as well as the professional & courteous employees I encountered during my two visits. It’s too much to type in this small space but I will say this it was so bad I called the corporate customer relations number and filed a complaint. If we are paying for luxury vehicles surely we deserve common courtesy and respect from the beginning to the end. The location seem to be under staffed and the workers seem to be stretched to the limit. Even management is horrible this is extremely unacceptable. This was the most pleasurable experience I’ve ever had at a dealership despite me having bought the car elsewhere. The service manager was absolutely amazing and the mechanics fixed it right the first time. Sales people, despite me being in service, were extremely friendly and had a 30 minute conversation with Madison. She never once pushed me for a sale even when I walked the lot and just gave me a lot of useful information on each vehicle I glanced at. My only regret is not having bought my car from here as they were in much better shape and quite a bit more affordable.

I took my car to have convertible top diagnosed and they found a couple of parts that needed replacing. A sensor that was about $500+ and a switch. The total repair would have been $1200. Once the technician installed the switch, I can only assume that he tested the top and ran another diagnostic test and he determine that the sensor was not needed after all which saved me hundreds of dollars. Most places would replaced both parts whether it needed it or not. I was really impressed. My service advisor kept me informed of everything that was done, kudos!

I made my service appointment several days in advance. Brian, my service assistant was ready for me and I left after we talked for several minutes about what needed to be done. The car was ready on time and Brian sent me a text to verify. I had the option to have it delivered or pick it up myself. We chose to pick it up ourselves. The car was washed and waiting for me with the door open. Check out was simple, cost was less than quoted and we left. Experience was excellent as always.

After driving back and forth a few hours multiple times within about two weeks. I had to leave my car with bmw for two days and when I got it back my windshield was cracked. I brought it to my advisers attention immediately after seeing it and he told me that he would see what he can do and would speak to his manager and as soon as I made it home he texted me telling me that the crack was already there (there definitely WASN’T). I’ve called and left a message about it and no one has called me back still.

Not happy with the overall service. BMW promised to provide full service for 3 yrs, i was told that I need to pay 250$ for software update, which is not as per the BMW plicy when I bought the care. Very unhappy by the customer care, took car to firestone and they did it free of cost.

Service was excellent. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that not one of the service managers was wearing a mask, which was not what was promised by BMW. On the website for Montgomery BMW under Covid 19 precautions, it clearly stated that I would be greeted by service managers who were masked and there would be social distancing. Neither was true.

The way she kept me informed on the progress of the negotiation from my initial offer to the closing process was extremely professional. I was very concerned to buy a car in Alabama and have it shipped to Connecticut, but with the transparency and huge dedication from Crystal I managed to get full confidence that I was doing the right thing.Crystal took multiple pictures and videos of the car, (she even had a Face Time session where I could see the entire car from front to back, inside and out. Believe me, they went to the greatest extent to make me at ease with my concerns. Crystal even stayed longer than their closing time to ensure that the truck would be loaded perfectly. John Gentry was my service advisor. He answered my questions over the phone, taking down information for my service appointment. When I arrived at BMW Montgomery, AL, he met with me to discuss the details of my car. I added a few more things to my list for my car repair and service. As requested, John looked into the price and the amount of time it would take to do those things. He did that and called me back with the details. By phoning me, John kept me up to date on the time my car would be ready. He was very thorough, making sure all the services I needed were completed. When I returned to the dealership, John met with me to let me know that my car was washed and pulled up to the service area for pickup. I am so thankful John Gentry was my service advisor at BMW Montgomery, AL. He provided the very best service, along with the mechanics and staff. I am extremely pleased.

First. BMW of Montgomery is a clean, comfortable place to wait for completion of diagnosis and repair. IF desired, the client will be shuttled to his/her choice of destinations; for instance, East Chase shopping is near by. John Gentry kept me informed along the diagnosis route in order for me to make decisions. Problems identified and fixed quickly and a washed and cleaned car delivered within a couple of hours. I drive about 50 miles one way to trust my car with this dealership!!

Crystal and the BMW of Montgomery team were incredible! I am from out of town and had a limited amount of time to shop for a car. I had one picked out from shopping online. Crystal, my car dealer, was willing to even let me look at the car on her off day and sign papers on the following business day to be sure I could drive back in my new car. Thank you! Service adviser John was fantastic. We entered the facility with a disabled car operating in Limp Mode. John took care of us and kept us informed as to the progress. He even recommended that we have an upcoming brake fluid service done while in the shop. John will one day manage your shop and no doubt share his customer skills with others.

I found a car on the website that I liked and inquired about. I was contacted by the sales rep Christian who asked for a credit application. After submitting the application, I was told that the car was no longer available and tried to steer me to a different one. He should have notified me before I submitted the application. Not happy at all and will never do business with this dealership.

They do great work an very professional an let you know everything thats goin on with your car but Im wandering why they has my car for over a week an when I got it back it was not cleaned. Usually they wash an vacuum it but nope. My car was still dirty.

I stopped in the day of my service after a family emergency trying to get my car serviced. John Gentry was very professional and personable. I enjoyed the fact that he was able to look through what my car needed and ensured I knew what my warranty consisted of. I will most definitely go back for superior performance from this staff.

All of the staff I encountered were amazing. Luke really took the time to ensure my vehicle was taken care of. I was in town from Miami and unfortunately ended up with a flat tire. I got there late that evening around 430pm and he ensured my vehicle was taken care of promptly knowing I had to get on the road back to Miami the next day. Thank you so much. Awesome service!!!

The service department at BMW of Montgomery is excellent. We brought our vehicle in for a recall issue, and it was handled promptly and without issue. Luke, our service writer, was great to deal with; courteous and professional in every way. But thats how these things should go, and its really what makes BMW a pleasure to own.
