The level of professionalism and service they do here in phenomenal. I bought my first truck from here a few weeks ago and they helped throughout the entire process. Answered all my questions and had me in and out in a timely manner. Few days after I bought the truck had follow up calls to make sure everything was fine with the truck and that I was satisfied. This is the second vehicle that i have purchased from this company. All went well with the first! The second deal is the issue! I’ve had an issue with management since day 3 of purchasing my vehicle! From cancelling warranties that i didn’t ask for down to the customer service which is the most important part of any company like this company! Please don’t leave the desk without reading everything! I purchased a warranty from them and each time I’ve had an issue!!! Everyone is always in meetings and when they do call back; you’re fast talked as if you had no sense before walking into their establishment! My last conversation with Stivers GM was not a customer is right conversation! My warranties were suppose to be fixed and of course it wasn’t when arrived to get the service! No customer service skills! Thennn wait 4-5 hours for an oil change and a new battery!! They go on lunch and no updates or anything! No phone calls back to solve the issue!! Do better!!!

First time ever going to Stivers Ford. July 27, 2021, I waited in line, inside vehicle outside of service garage for anyone to approach. Nothing. Got out and walked up to someone, asked if he worked there. He smiled, seemed nice but was a manager so he asked a technician to help me. That person (tech #1) said I’ll be right with you. I waited for an hour. Took my info, said he’d run tests & call me. Ok. Left my 2016 F-150 Platinum there… no call. I popped back in 2 days later, was helped by a different tech (tech #2) and told that no one had tested it yet. Three days later, man #2 called to say it had been tested and it’ll be $1500.00. It must’ve been written on my forehead. I agreed because I need my truck to be safe and reliable. Two days later on Fri Aug 6, 2021, I popped back in. Truck hadn’t been touched. Mechanic had a death in his family. Was promised a call on Mon when mechanic returned. Today is Tues Aug 10, 2021- no call. No tentative completion date. No attempt to impress a first time customer. No attempt to build loyalty. They still have my truck. My whole family drives Ford vehicles in TX w/great service so I had high hopes for continuing good experiences in Montgomery AL.

My service at this location was amazing! I was driving down from Chicago for a wedding in Alabama and at one moment I have a oil change need soon light pop on and by the time I got closer to my destination I had a oil change required light on 😬. I call and spoke to Mike and let him know what was going on and told him about the time frame for the wedding events he told me to bring it in the next morning at 8a.m. and they got my oil change and even ran my car through the car wash for me. It was a overall great experience and I truly appreciate them getting me together and making sure that I was on time for the wedding events

My new truck was delivered to Kentucky this morning and I promptly sent it back to Alabama. Stivers drivers DROVE the truck 300+ miles to my house, and wanted me to pay a $1000 delivery fee, for a brand new 2021 that was supposed to have 14 miles on it. It should have been transported, not driven. I said make it right or take it back, either way is fine by me. Tim in online sales said “There’s nothing we can do.” Okay, bye, safe travels. Now you can sell it to somebody else with 600 miles on it.Stivers chose to miss out on a sale instead of making it right with the customer. Had they offered to take $500 off the delivery fee I would have happily kept the truck. This is the most insane business decision I have ever seen. Even the drivers were shocked and couldn’t believe they’d rather add another 300 miles onto the truck instead of sealing the deal. I filed a complaint with the General Manager today, but after reading the reviews I have very little hope there will be any resolution. I’ll be looking to purchase a new vehicle elsewhere.

Bought a car while it was raining and was told to bring it back anytime within 30 days to have a full detail done on it. I arrived to drop off the vehicle and was told my salesperson was off that day. Ok, get her boss... then I was told to run it through the car wash. Seriously? I was lied to numerous times when purchasing the vehicle. Now you are giving me the run around about it being detailed? I told them to have a nice day. I dont work for Stivers. You cant tell me to come back on your convenience. This is not customer service. I also have a job which makes me gainfully employed so I am able to buy vehicles. As far as going forward... I wouldnt buy a key chain from Stivers. I will make the drive to Auburn or Birmingham area to avoid the BS. I also took the Stivers sticker off my vehicle. I refuse to advertise for liars and crooks. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. The good reviews that they have is because they have offered deals/incentives for people to leave them.

I was in and out in no time at all. The man working in the parts department was also very helpful and knowledgeable. I dont remember his name but he has a long black beard. Very satisfied.

Went to Stivers yesterday from good recommendations from not only associates but my father and stepmother who have purchased from there. Pulled into the lot looked around for about 20 to 30 minutes without a sales associate coming to address my needs. I will take my $10k down payment and trade in to a dealer who cares about my needs and wants to make a sale. I will never set foot on Stivers Ford lot again, and neither will my father who said that you were great just to have his son ignored.

No stars they ripped me off on repairs plus my truck been there a yr and supose to replace wire system didnt do it as well a transmission that broke down less then a mile from the dealer ship signed a payment plan agreement and the was told I had to pay in full as well their back yard mechanics joy ride in customer cars they gave me a price of 2600 and now they want 6k and the ppl that try to do the cus9 right get fired just so the dealer ship can make more money by not doing the work the right way so Im gonna sue them

The service center was great! Columbus GA location could learn a few things from y’all! Love the fact you have a separate area for simple services, not having to wait for an advisor to assist you then having to wait for the actual service, ( that process is such a pain). Made the appointment on line for the service I needed, was checked in efficiently and quickly. Service was also completed in the time frame I was told. I also received my car back in the same condition I left it, no greasy marks in or on the car! Wish I lived closer to use this location all the time!!

Brought in a motorhome sitting on the Ford F53 chassis for repairs due to loud knocking in front end while going over bumps. After a week they called and said the noise was due to a broken weld and it was Tiffin’s problem, not theirs. Took it to Tiffin and they repaired the weld, but also stated that both front shocks were loose and one was almost disconnected from the chassis. This was a major safety issue that Stiver’s Ford should have caught and fixed but didn’t. Seems they were too quick to push the problem off on someone else. Will never visit this dealership again.

My recent experience at Stivers Ford in Montgomery was excellent. Scott Hunter is an excellent service writer. Scott is not a personal friend nor is he a family member.I have not had a lot of problems with Ford but Scott Hunter is the best service writer I have ever had. I’ve been driving different Ford products almost constantly since turning 16 in 1968. Most of my personal vehicles have been F 150’s on the farm but my first Ford was a 1968 Torino.I’d say my favorite was either my 2001 F 150 King Ranch or the current 2018 F 150 with Eco Boost. I have to admit it’s not exactly ‘eco’ when I’m in ‘boost’ mode having to pass somebody. The twin turbos are strong. It’s fast and pulls a trailer great.Thank you Stivers Ford and Scott Hatter for excellent service !Tom McLemore

Stivers was incredibly disappointing. They had a rare car that we were unable to find elsewhere, so we had to do business with them. They were nice enough, but it seems as though every single thing they could mess up on the paperwork, they did. I understand everyone makes errors, but theirs were far too numerous and they gave little attention to attempt to fix all the things they’d done wrong. It seems as though most employees have little training and/or attention to detail. I debated between 1 & 2 stars, but settled on two since we were able to finally find someone to help (after countless phone calls). If you make the poor decision to work with them as we did, be very diligent in checking the addresses (for the bank AND your address). Due to these errors we’ve been unable to drive the car legally multiple times, and we still do not have it all sorted or have the tags after almost six weeks.

Reasonable price in 2020 Expedition, not great but the car we had been looking for and we felt it was a fair deal including shipping to a nearby state. Good experience with salesperson (Tim). No extra key was provided and after literally 5 follow-ups with sales manager (Ed) for door passcode info and extra key, plus the promise reimburse expenses. We had to pay an extra $600 at local Ford dealer. Sent receipt to Ed with his promise to reimburse and no response. Super flaky! Love the car... hate the fact we got stuck with extra expense because the dealer didn’t deliver on original commitments.

A while back I found a new vehicle online that only had 12 miles on it. Arrived to test drive and it took them 45 minutes to find the key. Finally after waiting I get in the car and it is dirty and had over 2000 miles on it. At this point I was only interested for the right price.The salesman and manager were extremely rude. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership and made a decision to never even consider them again.

I have been a customer to Stivers Ford twice now. Each time I have went to purchase my vehicles I have been treated with the best care and respect. The first time around, Chris Wilkins set me up with a used F-150 Ecoboost that was great on mpg and a true life saver in the end! I was in a major vehicle accident and the truck performed flawlessly in saving my life and limbs. The warranties Chris and the Stivers team set me up with has me in a perfect situation right now.This brings me to my 2nd purchase. In need of a new vehicle to commute to work in, now needing better fuel economy and plans for upgrading to a different trim on the truck, I went in to see Chris again... but he was enjoying the day off. Thats where as fate would have it, I met another, Tabor Cleberg, who was happy to assist me, getting all of the information and helping me to choose a car I originally didnt even go to look at. Considering my needs and wants, he presented me with honesty and a option and deal I couldnt refuse. The warranty I was set up with will cover me for the miles I now drive to and from work!Again, I could not be happier with the services I was provided at the dealership. THIS HAS BEEN A TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Dropped my car off almost 2 weeks ago for repairs. I have been given the run around since! Constantly sent to voicemails was told “it’s like brain surgery “. No loaner cars available after repeatedly being told i would get one the next day and the next day. Now “it’s your transmission and we have to figure it out”. But I’m sure they still want their payments on time for a car I’m not even driving and don’t know when it will be available according to them!

My sales guy name was Eddie. Eddie promised me two things.1. That the finance guy Chris was so good they would only pull my credit once. It was pulled 4 times. I specifically told both that I didnt want my credit pulled, but once.2. That he would help remove the hard inquiries once a purchase was made. Ive been following up with him on multiple of occasions, no response. Eddie directed me not to tell anyway, but after going back on his word I think its best that I leave this review.Ive purchased cars before and never seen not once during the sale process the salesman disappear. After all documents were signed myself and the finance director literally looked for Eddie who was inexistent. That immediately through a red flag for me. On a good note I did get the car at a good apr rate and price the reason Im leaving a one star.

This is my first experience here with Ford and by far has been the worse. I bought a F150 off the lot that apparently had some issues that were not disclosed to me. Drove it out of town and it broke down it was towed to a Ford dealership where it still sits after 3 weeks. I was told it would be towed back. Nobody has reached out to let me know what was going on. They also didn’t disclose the truck had a new motor put in it before I made the purchaseI’m currently in a Ford Ranger which is way smaller and it’s a loaner. Nobody from management has reached out and tried to help

PLUS THE NEW TRANSFER CASE IS GONE AGAIN. I HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER SHOP BECAUSE THE EARLIEST I COULD GET INTO STIVERS WAS JUNE 21ST AND WHEN I SPOKE TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL AND EXPLANINED WHAT WAS HAPPENING, I WAS TOLD WELL THATS WHY WE HAVE A SERVICE DEPARMTENT! Giving this dealership a 1 star is pushing it. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies to buy a vehicle that they said was in great condition, had already been checked by car fax and they had already did a detailed check on everything. We arrived and waited 2 hours with our 2 babies for them to check our credit even though our salesman, Chris, said we were already approved and ready to do. We did still get approved but it took much longer. They said the van was still being cleaned so we waited hours to be able to see it and test drive it. We were ready to sign all the papers and they came to us and told us the vehicle breaks were not working properly and we couldn’t buy it today. So they pulled our credit and made us drive 4 hours round trip, to sell us a vehicle that wasn’t even ready to be sold and that we never even saw. It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. We will never go back and I encourage ythe reader to never buy a vehicle from them.

My Service Manager Brian Crawford has kept in touch letting us know what the status is on my vehicle since January 18th the day I took it in. Very thankful we had the warranty which supplies me with a vehicle similar to mine while my car is being serviced. Fantastic team all the way around. Lisa and Jim delivered the Escape and couldnt be more pleasant and professional. So a deal that Chris wasnt able to get because of color and trim availability more than two years ago left a lasting impression of a dealer to do work with in the future. The future is today and people remember good, honest dealerships and so Dylan, Kyle, Cade, Maurice all played a part in our daughters first vehicle purchase. Their are numerous dealers closer to us here in Niceville/Destin than Stivers, but the customer service and deal couldnt be beat.

I do not usually write reviews, but this one was an unbelievably bad. I purchased a new vehicle from this stealership about a month ago.Finance and insurance utilized back-end sales tactics that I can only describe as less than transparent, less than honorable. They plant a seed in your mind that they are giving you something even better than what was originally negotiated. They deliberately make it sound as if what they give you is purely beneficial to you, then gloss over everything rapidly without clearly stating there are in fact significant changes to what was agreed on the front-end.I fell victim to this. Here is the basic synopsis. After about 6 hours, an agreement is made on the front-end for the trade and purchase. You wait a while longer then get in to sign. The first words out of their mouth are, “Great news! I got you an extended warranty and vehicle appearance coverage both, plus a lower payment.” Naturally, I am pleased by the news. Wouldn’t you be? All that and I am still paying less?! I mean WOW, where do I sign before the deal is gone. I was pretty exhausted by that point. I left my meds at home so I was a few crayons short of a box. Not to mention that I drove a long way to get there and still had the long drive home. Finance smoothly runs through all the documents. I recall the appearance coverage product document as presented to me during signing as, we put this on all of our cars. That sounded obligatory, but I was still under the impression it was included in this, ‘Special Deal’ I failed to notice several documents that clearly showed this was far from free or in any way obligatory. The same applied for the warranty. I ignorantly sign. All the while, I’m under the assumption these people are taking care of me and I can trust this person.I was a fool and it’s my own fault for not paying closer attention. The documents themselves are proof of a degree of transparency, but only a degree and not full transparency. Full transparency could be achieved by showing and stating. Show the document, state the costs, state that it is NOT mandatory to purchase, state what effect it has, do not make omissions of fact etc. Saying we put this on all of our cars. IS AN [EXPLETIVE] LIE! That is NOT transparency. You cannot verbally infer that something is requisite when the document for the product clearly states it is not.I would assert that by choosing the opening statement to sound like a customer is getting something very special, but deliberately choosing NOT to also verbally communicate the actual cost or change for that something special, or leaving it up to the customer to decipher what is spoken, what is not spoken, and what is factually different than what was agreed to during negotiations, is tantamount to deliberate deception. If you cannot sell a product with absolute and unquestionable honesty, with full transparency, without employing any form of psychological manipulation, or communicative deception, then you have no business being in business.I digress, the next day, I decide to review the sales documents. It didn’t even take a minute to see what that snake did. Oh, they gave me an extended warranty, vehicle appearance coverage, plus a lower payment. They did it by extending the term five months and hiding the costs there. Simple enough to gloss over whereby not bringing into question anything else. The warranty $2,500, the appearance coverage, another $500. I manage to extract the cancellation form from them, filled it out, and sent it back. I did not believe they would follow through with cancelling, so I faxed the damn form myself. I had not heard from either side, so I called the warranty company today. Sure enough, the finance guy never sent it according to the warranty company and could not explain where my faxed copy went. Thankfully, an alternate method of cancellation was provided by the warranty company.Just be cautious if you decide to buy from them.

DO NOT waste your time or money at this dealership. I bought a vehicle from them in August and after driving the vehicle for a few weeks, they called me and said they “sold me the wrong vehicle” and that I need to come back and fix some paperwork. They tried to pull a bait and switch on me and get me to take another vehicle that I’d never seen before and give them mine back. I refused and made them fix the paperwork for the correct vehicle. This has been an extreme headache since I’ve had to make multiple trips to the DMV and wait in line, only to have no one from Stivers help me with sending documents to the dmv so we could correct the problems that they created. It’s been an ongoing struggle for weeks now to get them to answer the phone or call me back. I can’t stress enough how TERRIBLE the customer service has been and how little I’ve been cared for. They got their money and left me to try and clear up the mess that they made. Please if you’re reading this, take your business elsewhere. You’re nothing but a number to them once they have your money.I will say that Shelby was the ONLY person I could get to assist me with anything. Unfortunately everyone else hasn’t shown the professionalism that she has.

Customer service was pretty good but the certified used 2019 explorer we went to test drive would not even start, after jump the check engine light was on, and during the test drive there was some acceleration/changing gear issues. We drove almost 4 hours for this to be a bust so if you are coming from far away beware!

One word: discrimination! Talked down to my friend then said that we owed him for his time trying to sell us a new truck that, get this, already has a recall! Next he then said he would pay us in the form of a discount if I gave him a 4 star rating. Buying 4 star ratings?!?!? YES!!!!! Ive had two good experiences with Stivers- so they get 2 stars today. But I tried for two weeks to buy a truck from them. Dealt with Patrick and Ashley. In fairness to Patrick, I went through two different options while I figured out exactly what I needed (though no thanks to him- I was doing all the research and study). I also worked with Ashly on a specific truck and he just couldnt be bothered to return a call or text. SO...I purchased my truck from a different dealer. And will in the future as well.

I recently had my Class A RV serviced. My service advisor was Samantha. She was very friendly and professional. She kept me updated on the status of my repairs. I drove 160 miles one way only to get there and not only was the car absolutely filthy but the out the door price changed by more than $1500. They claimed it was a misquote, that they quoted me with incentives that I didnt qualify for when I specifically told them I didnt qualify for them and I had the quote showing the incentives were not on there. Plus they ran my credit before we even made a deal. The price on the way site changed right after I left the dealership. The sales manager followed me out to my car and said he would get to the bottom of all this and on course never heard anything from him either. Sounds like they will do what it takes to get you down there and then change the deal on you thinking you will take it. I would stay clear.
