I had my oil changed at Meineke by the nicest young man. I was in and out in a short time. The manager was friendly and came over and introduced himself and even bought me a coke. I highly recommend Meineke for any of your automotive needs.

The Meineke off of Atlanta Hwy. in Montgomery Alabama is managed by a crook. The man at the front desk told me for new brake pads front and back that it would cost me around $200. When I asked if that price was competitive, he said they tried to price lower than competition. That I had to pay $70 bucks for a brake inspection, but that the $70 would be credited toward the cost of my brakes if I in fact needed brakes. Then, after the inspection, when it was time for my estimate, he switched it up on me and said around $450 AFTER I paid the $70. Every other place I called quoted prices half this amount when I called. I of course payed t he $70 and walked away and will never go back near this place or business. Bad business

Amazing shop. Stopped by during a cross country move 20 minutes before closing with a burnt out alternator. Mechanics stayed open later than they had to in order to make sure I was good to continue the trip. Excellent service and people! Was lucky that I stopped at this shop.

The guys at the shop were amazing! We were on a trip from Panama City Beach back to Kansas City when our brakes started acting up. One of the rotors was staying locked on and it was causing us to have a lot of problems. Even though it was later in the afternoon on a Saturday these guys found a way to make sure we got taken care of in a very quick and friendly manner. They didn’t complain about it being late in the day they just found the problem quickly and professionally corrected the problem. They had to completely replace one of the calipers on our van. I cannot believe how quickly they got that done! We only lost about one hour of our travel time and I believe their charges were extremely reasonable. If I lived close by I would not hesitate to give these guys every bit of business that I could. I can’t recommend these guys enough! Thank you so much for saving our trip back home!

What a pleasant experience in a time of trouble. I highly recommend them to everyone. They went out of their way to help me. With only hours to complete a job because it was not long before closing, they could have easily kept my car till the next day, but they knew i had to work and i had an important doc appointment. I needed to be somewhere at a certain time and they up really quick. They were efficient and thorough and friendly.

I went to Meineke after discovering a substantial oil leak on my truck. I also had other work that needed to be done, but I needed the leak looked at because Ive never had one in the 5 years Ive had this truck. 2 weeks prior, I had went to another oil change place where they had stripped and cross-threaded my oil pan drain plug.Josh, the assistant manager at Meineke, was very helpful, kind and trusting with getting my vehicle fixed. He was the liaison between me and the other oil change place that initially messed up my truck. Meineke allowed me to leave my vehicle there for a few days until things were resolved between all parties. Josh drafted an invoice for me that had detailed information on everything that happened over those last few days. He also kept my truck locked up in the garage overnight so that my vehicle was protected.Meineke, Josh, Daryll (the manager) and all of the other associates at this store have built trust with me in just 3 days. I will most definitely continue to come here for my vehicle services and maintenance. They are not like other shops that just want your money. They will work with you and provide honest work and service. Thank you so much Meineke!

Wanted to use online coupons but this shop DID not honor them. I will not be using this Meineke again.

Service was fast, I would have liked to have known that I could not simply show the coupon I had to the cashier but that it must be printed off and handed to the person. I paid $41 dollars for an oil change that could have costed me $17 and some change. Overall my experience was good though.

They had alot of cars there already but i called and told them my ar was my only transportation and they hopped right on the job called let me knew wat was wrong and hopped right on the job will be seeing me for all my other car care needs

Came to get a 20 point inspection. They got me in right away and done within 30 minutes. Tried multiple other places and none has a certified tech on duty and cost was much more.

I went to five places in Montgomery yesterday that were unable to help me for one reason or another (including my dealership) and then I happened upon this location. Another mechanic had found nothing wrong with my car even though the check engine light was on and my car was losing power and hitching / shuddering while moving. Joe was able to locate the problem within about ten minutes and sent me down the road safely.

I actually went to another place closer to me to get my vehicle services. The front desk women at pep boys told me they couldnt service my vehicle, because my hummer is too big for their lift. Total b.s., they have service my vehicle before. Meineke service my hummer immediately, no b.s., and they have a lift big enough for a hummer!

A total waste of money on my part. Took my car there because it was cutting off. Paid over a 1000 and car still doing the same thing. I dont know about you but during this pandemic, no one has money to throw away. Took my car back due to it still cutting off, issue still not fixed. They tell me.its the transmission, so what the heck I paid for a tune up for. As a woman, felt I was taken advantage of. I want my money back

I typically come here for a quick oil change. Usually, I am able to get in & out in less than 20 minutes. Staff is always friendly. Prices are very reasonable. My kids enjoy watching them work on the cars while sitting in the waiting room, too!

This is the second time I got my oil changed with them and it leaked out. The only reason that i went back a second time is because they were open on Saturday. I dont care if i have to take off of work during the week i will never go there for any services. Dont end up stuck in the parking lot at work like i was two days after going to them never again they need to be put out of business I will never recommend anyone to go to them. They dont really know what they are doing. They charge you for diagnose and gives you assumptions on what needs to be fixed which also somehow builds up as more you talk to them.

After I bought a wreck vehicle it was hard to get some one to help me get my back tires straight a lot of people couldn’t tell me why my tires was leaning inward but the guy that did my alignment explain exactly what I needed

My daughter took her car to this location today for routine maintenance and minor adjustments. So instead of a simple oil gasket change, they made the problem worst by damaging a part and tried to have the customer ( my daughter) pay for Their incompetence of not knowing the vehicle.

Had engine troubles Friday night, went to them Saturday morning and within an hour they told me exactly what was going on, asked around town for the parts I needed just to make sure if I wanted to fix it the parts were there. These guys are the best!

I stopped by with an unknown issue in my car - it wasnt starting. I was well received at the front desk and going to the car the mechanic found the problem was just a loosen cable. He didnt charged a dime and was super polite. Recommended service! I would return to this shop if my car happens to have a real problem.

I would not recommend this place They are a rip off. I had brakes & rotors done all the way around in April of 2018 Here it is September 2019 and my brake need replacement. I have a warranty on them & they told me its void. They want me to pay another 651.00 to replace what is under warranty. The brake should last long past a year. they dont honor warrantys and will try to make money off of you any way they can. I drive to work & home only no traveling in my vehicle. They dont even deserve 1 star.

Honestly want to give no stars. They claimed they put freon and dye in my ac system when actually they overcharged my ac system with air. I sent a complaint to their corporate website asking for a refund for the work they didnt do only to be told I should have brought my car back to a location that already lied to me about my car. What sense does that make? Avoid these scam artists and try to go to a local mechanic where you stand a better chance of getting decent customer service.

Just got a synth engine oil change here, and couple things to note:I am a skeptic when it comes to trusting car auto shops, etc... and I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. If the reason for my satisfaction could be limited to a few words, I would say genuine customer service and approach.If you visit, Dwayne will most likely care for you up front. Hes a real gentleman and quite a personality. I called in earlier in the day and asked for a price. He said that synthetic oil changes come up to be 59.95. So, I came in, got an oil change (took about an hour wait), but the price came to be 70.00 bucks. When I asked about the price confusion, he said I told you 59.95, Ill charge you 59.95. Im sorry I told you wrong. BINGO... customer first.My only complaint was that there was a bit of oil residue left on my stick and on the floor mat. So, attention to detail is the only thing that I would critique, but so far the car runs and sounds great. Guaranteed 7000+ miles.I rarely write stuff like this, but I thought Id give a holler to genuine customer service when I see it (which is a waning quality). Kudos! - but dont smear my floor next time.

Horrible!! Used to be great and I trusted them. NOT ANY MORE!!! I went next door to get parts like they said and took the part to them. They told me I brought the wrong part and told me to take it back. The part store said it was the right one. I had to go back and forth carrying my babys carseat and the parts. IT WAS THE RIGHT PART ALL ALONG. They changed 2 parts and then told me it was something else. I went from $75 quote to $500. The problem still wasnt completely fixed. They got grease all over my car. The mechanics are RUDE!! The owner is RUDE. I was there from 10 a.m. until closing. They completely ripped me off!! You used to be able to see them working on your car but now they spray painted the window black that you could watch them through. No doubt its because they dont want you to see what they are doing.. Ripping you off!!

WORST service Ive experienced while having my car serviced. I had my brakes done here and first off, the man at the counter looked at my coupon for a free brake inspection and said it wasnt enough to inspect the brakes & I needed to pay extra out of pocket...what?! Ive worked in a shop for years in another state, that is some bogus bait and switch. Next while they are lifting my car and taking the tire off, they carelessly RIP OFF my front side panel including the bolt that holds it in. I can see them do this through the viewing area. So they pull my car around, I look at it and call the manager out. He says Oh it was like that, you just didnt notice. I explain I saw the worker do it, which he denies but he wasnt even back there during the work, he was at the counter. They not only refuse to fix what they did, but basically say Im stupid. I had my cars body inspected not even 3 months ago, Im very tedious with my car. The way I was spoken to was insulting.As if that wasnt enough, I open my car to find grease all over the interior of my new car. Black grease stains on my seat, floor, steering wheel. How unprofessional! Seriously Meineke learn to do the basic things that keep people coming back. Put down paper mats inside like most shops. I will be filing complaints with the business bureau and chamber of commerce and anyone who will listen. If youre a women I highly recommend not going here, they talk to you like youre a child even though I probably have more experience with cars than the person doing my brakes. If I had a lift Id have done them myself.

Meineke has dramatically changed over the past 20 years. The baby boomers who once loved working on cars and solving customer car issues have all retired. This shop is under new management and already has a bad reputation with the public. Im utterly disturbed with the crooked ways of this company and the trick/use someone for a #MightyAmericanDollar. Its even sadder when you use older/elderly people to gain a #MightyAmericanDollar that has no value like real old school genuine CUSTOMER SERVICE. KARMA is not cute and you will reap what you sow. Corporate WILL be getting a detailed call, email, and a letter about the horrible service being solicited at this location.

Should have followed my first mind. Out of all the places In this city I could have taken my car. I had to take it to a place that has a 2.9 rating. Please dont make the mistake I did there prices are not even cheap.I could have taken it to someone who does quality work for the same price. They checked my car out fixed it then gave me an outrageous price. They were only suppose to look at it. Thats just bad business never again.

In April 2014, I went to Meineke Car Care Center on the Atlanta Highway to get a muffler replaced that was defective, which had a lifetime warranty. I gave the manager, Ira Stanford, my paperwork that indicated I had a lifetime warranty, and told him the muffler was defective and wanted a replacement. Ira said he can replace the muffler, but would charge me $60.00 labor for the connector pipe. I told Ira there should not be a charge for labor, nor any charge for the connector pipe. Long story short, Ira said he would order the muffler and would call me when its available. Well, its been 2 months, and Im still waiting on that muffler. Ira wanted to charge me $60.00 for labor because he thinks he was giving me something. What a rip-off! Worst customer service, ever!
