Living in Steele Creek, I had poor service as I had scheduled a date of service with their Caliber Collision, which for some reason was dropped and not visible when I came on the specified date. The same thing happened at this location, but instead of turning me away, they respected my time and got my car in. On top of that, they were very communicative with my car’s needs. Even when I picked my car up and I noticed there were still black streaks on my hub cap, Blaine took the time to buff them out. Now my car is good as new and I can’t be more appreciative. I will definitely take my car back to them in the future for any bodywork needs.

They were professional and kept me up to date on everything. After closer inspection they were able to see that my door frame was bent as well and got me a new door put on. It looks brand new again!

My Infinity G37 (Lisa) came in hard contact with a coyote while entering I-485 in Charlotte at 70mph. She eliminated a dangerous predator but broke her nose really bad. I didnt think she would ever look the same again. I was wrong. She looks even better!Caliber found a brand new Journey Sports bumper for her and her sex appeal is stunning now! They also had to replace the passenger side headlight with a used one (per my approval), and polished both headlights like new. She was cleaned inside and out and Blade was polishing her when I pulled into the parking lot to pick her up.Caliber kept me up to date on their progress everyday she was there which impressed the heck out of me. But seeing what a beautiful job they did blew me away.Thanks guys for taking such good care of my girl!

Manager Jeff is “polite” but is passive aggressive, manipulative and insincere. Instead of straight forward honesty, you will get games.After Nov repairs, I had to return the vehicle twice because the work wasn’t done properly. Merely inconvenient the first time (they came and got my car and returned it). The second time, I was stranded for 2 additional days 8 hours away. And manager Jeff actually tried to play games even with dealership documentation. I finally bartered the $1062.30 owed me for a new windshield, but it was ridiculous.Blane and receptionist are great.I’m having to take the car to Huntersville for the reapplication of my paint protector.

I ripped the front bumper and grill off of my car and I needed it to be fixed badly, look like new, and desired as quick a turn around as possible. From the first phone call until I dropped the rental car off, Fred Canen, and his team (Ron and Alan) were WORLD CLASS! First time having to ever have a car repaired due to an accident. Have to say the process was flawless with going thru caliber. The entire team was professional, friendly and wanted to make sure I was at ease thru the entire process. I was updated thru out the process of my repair. Got my vehicle back when promised and my car looks exactly as it did when I drove it off the lot. The alignment they have with the rental car company ( enterprise) is an added stress relief and a great plus where they picked me up at Caliber and I was able to drop off and leave the rental there when I was picking up my vehicle. All in all it was a good stress free experience and is worth giving business to.

I had an issue removing my plate from the back of my car. Took forever and was getting no where. Took it to the dealership and they couldnt remove it and instructed me to take it to a body shop. After reading many wonderful reviews, took my car to this location. They were able to remove my old plate and screw in the new one. They were wonderful to work with and Thomas was great. Taking my car back soon for them to repair my driver side window since it doesnt do down. Totally recommend them!

I highly recommend Caliber Collision in Matthews. We were traveling home from another state on Christmas Eve when a mini-van merged into our Toyota Highlander. My wife, baby, and I almost spun off the road; so it was a close call. The whole thing rattled us, but Caliber Collision staff made an unpleasant experience better. They were courteous, patient, and professional; not to mention, trustworthy. The fact that they were a State Farm authorized repair facility made the process seamless because this was the insurance the driver at fault had. Still, I would work with them again; regardless.

December 1st is one of those hard days for me the anniversary of my Fathers death. so it was just made a little harder when I was involved in a fender bender. But when I got to Caliber Collision at 12527 independence they helped turn the day around for me. Although it was not a serious dent nothing broken, I have a little OCD about things being clean. These guys did a great job on my 2003 Ford E-250 doors. It’s a work van with over 350k miles. The side and back doors stopped opening from being wore tf out! They fixed them back to like-new operation. No hassle, easy scheduling, only took them a few hours to fix it and I was back in business, literally.

I had to make a last minute appointment and fortunately, Caliber Collision in Matthews was able to make it work. Upon arrival, I was received warmly and within two minutes, Thomas Blade Chaney walked me to my car diagnosed the repair. Once the repairs were made, Blade took the time to show me exactly what work was (perfectly) done. I highly recommend Caliber Collision.

This is the first five star review I have given a collision center. Ever. I arrived five minutes early for my appointment and was greeted warmly by the receptionist and checked in immediately. Within a couple of minutes the manager, Jeff Obert, came out and introduced himself and explained to me what he was going to do. The estimate was thorough and all my questions were answered. The fresh popped popcorn I had while waiting in the reception area was delicious! :) What a great idea! I was in and out within 45 minutes. I will definitely be having my repairs done here. I took my new truck in, due to vandalism, and Caliber Collision of Matthews was exceptional. Alyssa, at the front desk, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, Kayla (my service writer) was great but the Manager, Jeff, was incredible!!! He took the time to explain every step and detail of the repair. Every time I showed up (un-announced) Jeff came out of his office to take the time to talk to me. The Ford factory parts they ordered were not up to his standards and they sent back 3 doors to the factory before they installed the final one that met their standard. Jeff called me each time a bad door came in and had me look at it. His body tech, Mike, insisted that I look at the replacement door. Honestly, I didnt see anything wrong with any of them but Jeff insisted he order a new door. That is what is known as having the customers interest in mind. The paint was also factory perfect. I dont want to have to take any of my vehicles to a body shop but if I do, it will be Caliber Collision of Matthews. The Team mentioned above, sets the standard for body shop personnel !!!!

My car was hit by a dump truck and needed to be repaired. My insurance company suggested Caliber. Linda was my estimator. She did a great job of keeping me informed about what was happening with my car. My insurance company even told me how much they like working with her and this shop, so that made me feel like they would do a great job. All of the parts for my car came in quickly, and my car was finished when they promised it would be. You cant tell anything ever happened to it. It looks brand new. I would highly recommend Caliber to anyone.

I went there with an issue of my door not shutting. It was a last minute semi emergency issue because i could not drive home with my door open. They were extremely nice, and fast. Elkyn(the guy who helped me) fixed the issue and asked for absolutely nothing in return! They rock!

LOVE this place! My husband ran over a part of a tire at night in my Lexus RX 350. We did not think there was much damage and took it to a different body shop with an estimate of $2600. We were floored. Called our insurance company USAA to place a claim (didnt think we needed to) and they suggested Caliber. We took it in for an estimate and told them our deductible was $1000. We left the car and then they called us back to look at the car on the rack. They worked with us to only repair the necessary items (not driving up our cost and insurance costs) with a total cost of $500! The manager, Jeff, came and introduced himself while the car was on the rack and told us that they are a continuous improvement place--always striving to do better. Linda, our adjuster, was awesome. Friendly, accommodating, and great to work with. Most of all, this shop has integrity and shows the ability to do the best thing for the customer while making sure that the the work is done well.

Our Wrangler Sahara Unlimited was repaired on “no time flat”. The entire experience, from initial appointment, to coordination with a rental car company and insurance company, was flawless. Our adjuster, Mr. Lloyd Love, was spot in with his sincere attention and information sharing. Moreover, he helped us with the timely return of our rental car, and returned our car to us because we were unable to pick it up that day. Kudos to you Lloyd!

I could not have asked for a more reliable and transparent body shop. Elkin made sure we were a priority, regularly checked in with repair updates, always took his time to address repair details and questions, and never rushed a single phone call. Any time I called, he made sure to return that call as soon as possible. Most importantly, our car looks spotless! The employees at the shop are extremely military friendly. The manager and Elkin made an exception to deliver the car to our home knowing my husband is deployed so as to have one less thing to worry about. This is for Matthews Location, it is a good experience to have them work on my van door. I like the way they deal with customers. Prompt ongoing updates to your mobile. At very least they call you and inform what is all happening. Very responsible.

I just had the door on my new truck need to be replaced due to a deer hitting it. The body and paint work looked great!They replaced the door but left the window motor bolts loose which caused a noise and then the window came off track. This of course happened on a Saturday morning. I repaired the window and took it back to the shop to have them double check.The shop double checked everything, but it is very inconvenient to have to drop off my vehicle a second time.

Please do not let your insurance company refer you to the Caliber location in Matthews. Choose another shop or select the Caliber location in Indian Trail.My daughter had a minor accident in our 2016 Camry. USAA referred us to the Matthews location. This shop initially told us that the repair would take 1-2 weeks. 3 weeks later we get the car back. Within 24 hours, we noticed that the AC didnt work, the hood was misaligned, the fender cover was coming loose from the fender, and the windshield washer fluid light was on. They obviously didnt check the car before they gave it back to us. We took the Camry back to the Matthews location and after another 3 days gone, we got the car back only to find that the passenger door was rubbing up against the fender and stripping the paint off the door. Enough was enough. USAA then referred us to the Indian Trail location where this location finally fixed everything correctly.Its your choice where to take your car for repairs. If you cant afford to lose your car for 30 days for a minor repair, avoid the mom and pop feel of the Matthews location. Save time and take your car to the Indian Trail location if you select Caliber. The difference between the two shops is like night and day.

Very unpleasant. I popped in and asked for a estimate. The guy said no you cant. Not something like well we have an opening on such and such day so you can schedule an appointment. Just no. If this is how they treat someone face to face. I cant imagine what it would be like to get them to do the work. It was very clear by his attitude that he did not want my business. I would tell you his name but he was so impolite, he never gave it to me.

I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was very friendly and not to mention my 2yr old took a liking to the gentlemen that helped me. It started with my car being involved in a hit and run while i was in my own neighborhood one night and it took my mirror and scratched up the whole side of my car. Took it here with having the worst on my mind because my ded. is like a $1000 and i dont have rental. So i was told that i might come out cheaper paying out of pocket and boy did I. The gentlemen asked what i wanted to do and i really just wanted my mirror back on. It took him all of 5 min to give an estimate which was 200 dollars and boy was i pleased. by the end after everything was said and done i ended up paying even less for the fix. Amazing. So i was in a rear end collision months ago and reopened the case and they took care of that as well the process was very quick and easy. I was always in the know about what was going on as he kept me updated. I had my car back in less than a week. OH and... THEY CLEANED MY INTERIOR AND BUFFED OUT A SCRATCH with no additional charge. I would highly recommend this location.

I had a recent issue with paint peeling on areas of my car that were repaired years ago by B&R Body Shop before it was Caliber Collision. I spoke with Norbert Skoczek and although he explained Caliber was not required to honor the warranty from the old company he was very understanding of the situation I was in and agreed to help. The service advisor Blade who handled the repair was friendly and helpful as well. The repair was completed on time and my car looks great. Im impressed with how well Caliber Collision takes care of their customers and would definitely recommend them.

I brought my car in for an estimate to get some scratches repaired on my rear bumper. But, in working with Lloyd he said that he would buff the scratches and see if they come out for free, then we can see how it looks. And much to my surprise the bumper looked brand new after some quick buffing. I was quoted $450 from the insurance company to have this repaired. Lloyd and Caliber Collision really care about their customers, not just their bottom line and getting every penny from customers.

Repairs on my car took a week longer than I was told and the manager never made calls to the insurance and rental companies when he said he would. I caught the manager lying two separate times and now I am waiting for another part to arrive even though the insurance company says there was no request for payment for this part through them. Also found it incredibly hard to get a hold of anyone, my calls would either be ignored or there would be no one able to talk to me. Then when i would ask for a call back Id never get one. Ill try to fix a car myself via Google next time before I ever come back here. The cars been gone for 31 days now. Should have been 17.

Overall from my experience with Caliber will separate in 3 departments:1.-Nicole customer service was great very polite2.-Repair service technicians of body shop did an amazing job fast and well done.3.- Estimator manager Jason, very bad experience. Didnt have time to see my vehicle when I stopped for first time by the shop to get an estimate, Took me 3 weeks to interview with him for an estimate for additional damage, was told from Nicole mr. Jason was going to provide a quote when dropping my vehicle for insurance work, he did spend 5 minutes with me looking at my vehicle 2 dents on front hood only, promising to get back with us with a quote, didnt get any quote. My wife called the next day to cancel the reqiest of additional work estimate.My truck is partially completed.Insurance work was quoted from insurance adjuster so no really needed to spend time writing an estimate.Advise to all future customers: if you have an insurance job you will be welcome to Bring your vehicle to Caliber collision.If you are Bringing a job that will be paid out of pocket you will be put on hold to get a quote and probably they will tell you that your work dont qualify to be taken by their shop.

Nice people, bloated estimates. Quotes nearly twice as expensive as other nearby places. Guess theyre fortunate to get all their business from Scott Clark.

Today I was suppose to get a quote/estimate for my car thru my insurance so my appt. was at 4 pm. I got there at 330 pm I walk in the office and a man was on the phone a women on the computer. So I take a seat and wait till they are finish, I sat there for 30 mins without any acknowledgement the associates are having conversations, walking pass me, made eye contact still no one spoke. As the customer I should be acknowledged since Im bring my business to them but I was not. Poor customer service and all around horrible service
