I reached out to multiple PDR professionals in the Charlotte area to try to get a fairly large dent on my front and rear passenger doors. Most turned me down stating it was not repairable and also told me I needed new doors. Richard was one of the two shops that claimed could fix the dent. I decided to go with Dentsmart/Richard because he just seemed more trustworthy. What an excellent decision I made. He is a professional at what he does. The outcome was incredible. There is no way to tell where the dent used to be. I highly recommend him. I have gotten dents fixed before by three other companies for other vehicles but none have come close to what Richard achieved

I recently bought a vehicle out of state sight unseen and much to my dismay, the vehicle arrived with hail damage and dents. Honestly I did not know if the damage would be able to be remedied. However, Richard worked his art and was able to make this collector’s vehicle look brand new, removing over 10 dents/hail dings. He was very professional throughout the process and provided superb customer service! I highly recommend Richard based on my service experience coupled with the overall quality of his work!

While I would like to bonk people in the head who sling their car doors open and damage the vehicles of others (or at the very least make them pay for repairs), I am so glad there is someone like Richard who can come to the rescue! I had a very sharp dent in my drivers door and Richard was able to remove it 100%! I had a couple very deep dents in my Silverado door that I was hoping to avoid repairing with traditional body work. I asked Richard if he thought they could be removed with PDR. He said he didn’t think so, but was willing to give it a try. He ended up spending a few hours on it, tried a variety of techniques, and got almost all of it out. In the end, it was too deep to get the entire dent out and Richard was not happy with the outcome. I expected to pay something but he refused to take any money for his time because he couldn’t get the entire dent out. Richard was very professional and took good care of my vehicle while he had it. He also puts rust preventer on the holes and a factory plug in the door jam so there is no noticeable hole or damage after the repair is completed. I would trust Richard to repair my vehicle again in the future.

Richard Larson is a master metal craftsman at removing large wrinkled dents in your vehicle.My restored antique vehicle was misfortunately struck in a critical area of the hood creating a complex wrinkle in the worse spot possible. The area where the dent had occurred is very prominent and any waves within the metal are glaringly obvious. Compounding this problem, the car is painted black and literally shows every blemish.Prior to calling Richard, my only option was to remove the hood, sandblast, hammer/dolly out the dent, longboard sand for days if not weeks, and attempt to match the paint....For an extremely reasonable price, Richard came to my residence and within 3 hours had completely removed the dent restoring the hood back to its original restored condition. Honestly, I still don’t believe it. Since his visit, I’ve kept looking for evidence of it being there and can’t find a trace.This car took 10 years to build and every detail was scrutinized during that time. I am extremely hard to please as it pertains to metal/paint work in automotive restorations. Should the need arise, Richard Larson will be the only person allowed to work on any of my restored vehicles from this point forward.Thanks again Richard, you did an amazing job!HM

I talked to Richard on Friday. I sent him some photos of the dent and he wasnt 100% on if it could be fixed. He went out of his way to see me on Saturday evening. Not only did he fix the dent I pointed out, but he spotted two more minor ones and took care of those, too. It looks like nothing ever happened!
