Took my sons car in there for a transmission issue I hoped was small, but as I shy away from them, I really didnt know. They were honest, upfront and transparent in discussing and working on the issue and while it did turn out to be something small, they treated it with the same level of urgency I imagine they would treat a more serious issue. They even dealt with me calling a couple of time to see when it would be done with the utmost professionalism and courtesy! Thanks and Ill be back!

Super disappointed with All world Transmission. The transmission they installed for me in 2014 lost 3rd gear and over drive last night with 81k miles on it, so I called All World in surprise and explained what happened. Myself wondering how the transmission with a shift kit and other upgraded parts (that they talked me into) wore out with such low miles. Especially when I spent $2000+? on it (still looking for the receipt). And I have to say I couldnt have been more disappointed to have the guy on the phone tell me yeah thatll happen sometimes. Then proceed to tell me that my 4L60e transmission typically has issues with 3rd gear and overdrive clutches (of which I am well aware as I am a fleet mechanic and am well versed with 99-07 Silverados). However, the entire reason we put upgrades & a shift kit in it in 2014 was supposed to be so that it would outlast the original transmission and its typical issues, which it didnt. The original transmission lasted 110k miles. Im religious with maintenance on this truck, always full of fluid, rarely towed anything, never off-roaded, etc. Super disappointed in the quality. Ive had a little shop in Big Bend do 6 other 99-07 silverados (plow trucks, 1/2 tons, 3/4 tons, daily drivers)for me for anywhere from $950 to $1350 depending on the truck and that are abused hard with work and have no issues. I mentioned to the guy on the phone how I thought it was crazy that I spent good money on a transmission I thought was built and bragged about for years turned out to be junk? I asked if theyd want to look at it and the guy told me they could quote it out and I asked if I would just pay labor (because hey I get it nothings free) or how this works because I mean clearly I must have gotten bad parts or something. And all he could say is its out of warranty, which is true and I knew that but you would think they would have been willing to work with a customer. I do that for all my customers and have to say Im really surprised considering I know the kits and parts for these rebuilds are quite cheap that they wouldnt want to work with a customer who was willing to work with them and spoke so highly of them. Too end our conversation I had mentioned the other shop I use in Big bend and asked if I should just take it there (nicely) and the guy quickly said yeah just take it to Big Bend. Definitely wont be recommending them to any of my customers again.

Only place I will take my vehicle. Great service, Shane followed up with me regarding what needed to be done and ready as promised. Prior to purchasing my last vehicle I had All World Transmission examine the van I was going to purchase. They spent a great deal of time examining every inch of the van. It was well worth the money I spent for that service as they found a significant number of problems that would have cost me thousands of dollars. I brought in a different van a month later and after taking it apart and putting it back together they gave me a thumbs up. Two years later and it still runs great. They have done basic maintenance on the van ever since and I couldnt be happier. Great group of guys that clearly care about the customer. Im a single woman and its great to have someone you can trust work on your car.

Great trustworthy service. All World Transmission repaired issues we were having with the brake system on a 2009 vehicle whcih another company installed less than a year ago. They called us promptly the day of service with a diagnosis of the issue and estimate of the work. We were very appreciative they were able to do all the repairs still within the same business day and had all parts necessary on hand for the repair.

Good honest place to go. Fair labor rates too. Seeing the shop dog was a bonus.

This is the only shop I will take my Jeep Wrangler to. I have brought it in many times over the past couple of months and every time they find exactly whats causing my issue and they fix it correctly the first time. They allow me to buy aftermarket parts to replace broken stock parts which in my experience most mechanics wont do. The owner Shane, along with all of his mechanics are very knowledgeable with all of my vehicles issues. Shane tells me what needs to be fixed right away and what can wait till next time to help me save some money here and there. All World Transmission is hands down the best mechanic shop in the area. I will continue to bring my vehicle there as well as recommend them to family and friends.

Ive been to AWT a few times with my 14 year old truck and have had nothing but fair & honest repairs done. Ive sent family & friends there knowing that their going to get treated with great customer service. Their mechanics are top notch and Shane & Julie make the repair process easy to understand by answering all my questions patiently & honest prices. Awful from the start. My car was dropped off 9/4/16, didnt hear a thing until I made the call to the business. The business forged an invoice date, never gave me an invoice, quoted me 1200 for parts 500 labor, never signed a quote, never received a copy of the quote, never approved an increase of price to $2500, nobody ever even explained to me why the price went up almost $1000. Was told I need to pay all of the price in full in cash which they clearly take cards, check, etc. It took them more than 2 months to finish my vehicle. Horrible experience, will never ever return nor recommend to anybody.

At 82K miles, I took my 2005 Chevy in for Transmission maintenance. Was running fine before but afterwards I started to notice my transmission would slip in the low gears. After a warm-up, the slippage would go away. Returned to All World and was told This happens with small engine front wheel drive cars. Finally, after dealing with having to warm-up my trans in Neutral before I left for work each day, I took the my car to another Mechanic. I told them what was happening. What they found was very dirty transmission fluid, a transmission Filter Gasket that wasnt replaced, and a dirty transmission filter (see picture - the Mech wiped clean a spot and told me such grime on the filter made it seem as if the filter was never replaced). When I took the picture to All World (with bills from both places), the owner told me that the Filter Gasket wasnt replaced (to save me $). The owner told me hed call my other Mechanic AND call me back.4 weeks later and no call from the owner, I return to All World. Now the owners story changed and he says the Filter Gasket was replaced (even though its not on their bill). He offered no refund and said he was “Too busy to call me back”. To me, that speaks volumes.Since taking my Car to the new Mech and having the Trans Filter (and Gasket) replaced, my car has run great for thousands of miles. I’ve heard good things about All World Transmission and was even referred to them by a co-worker. However, my experience was such that All World doesn’t stand by their work and the fact that the Owner changed his story and neglected to call me back as promised shows that this is not the place to go when things go wrong. No one is perfect, and mistakes happen – but when you fail to stand by your service, change your story, fail to call back your customer for 4 weeks, you’ve lost me as a customer.

Poor work load management 8 AM appointment, would call with information on on transmission problem before noon. No call!! I called at 1:30 PM for an update no one had looked at work order for vehicle. Picked vehicle.
