Visited the shop for the first time since Jenna took over. What a fine experience. Went there to buy a specific tire that she had in stock (only shop in Tucson that has a selection) and ended up having a great conversation and made other purchases. This shop has that great vibe that is really missing here in Tucsons bike world. She runs this place like a pro and has a fine stock of spares and other goodies. Just a darn good bike shop!

Really friendly and helpful! The entrance is a little difficult to find (it has a shared entrance with petroglyphs). The person working fixed my flat while I was there and was very helpful, gave me lots of good information! Ill be going back!

Im working right now with Transit Cycles to build me a customized bike. Recently moved back to Tucson and was looking for something cushy to ride around town, get groceries with, and have fun and everyone Ive encountered at Transit Cycles has been so friendly and great to work with. Jenna especially seems determined to get you exactly what you want and is full of very useful info and perspectives. Thankful to have found a great new home shop!

They told me servicing a rear shock would cost $70-110. They clarified 110 would be the max (for a full overhaul). I get a call 4 days later and now it’s $150.I dropped my bike off without a mask. The lady insisted I have one on when I picked it up. Same lady. Get your story strait.I will not be going back here again. Only giving 2 stars because at least they knew what they were talking about.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone! Duncan the owner is a great guy who gets stuff done quick, and makes sure you’re satisfied with your purchase when you walk out the door. He’s been extremely helpful in a timely manner and has been on top of communication so you’re never wondering what’s going on when you don’t have your bike. I will definitely be going here anytime I need work done on my bike. Thank you Transit Cycles for all the work you’ve done in getting me the perfect bike! 👍🏼🤙🏼

I took an old Motobecane in to Transit where they rebuilt the bike and helped me find a place to repaint it. Overall really pleasant experience. Monique and Duncan were really helpful and supportive even with all of the time it took to source specific parts and wait for the powder coating on the frame.

We needed a small repair on our tandem while cycling The Loop on a Saturday. Transit Cycles is close to the loop so we decided to try it out. The repair person was immediately able to take a look at our bike and spent the time necessary diagnosing the problem. He was able to fix it and get us on our way. The price was very reasonable. Very glad to have found this small, but efficient shop.

Being new to mountain biking and bicycles in general, I had many questions regarding maintenance on my bike. I called the store inquiring about some servicing on my bike and they were able to see me right away. I went down there and was walked through step by step on how to service/remove & replace components and even got some hands-on training doing these things so when it happens on the trail, I know how to repair my bike. Thank you for your time and your expertise, Monique! (sp?)

Best part of the experience was dealing with the experienced & knowledgeable owner who was able to help me with the choice of bike I was looking for & let me take a good long trial on the bike of choice which he actually had in his shop. Offered good alternatives for bike accessories like tires & handle bar options (Jones) that I felt were a good choice & he was able to fit the bike with. Transit Cycles has a good rep. for a good reason.

Im pretty new to cycling but am putting an effort into commuting to work. Took my bike in for some additions to ease my transition. Monique and Duncan helped me pick out new hand grips and attached a rear rack for me at a GREAT PRICE. Monique also worked on additional things like adjusting my hand brakes for my small hands, relocating my rear reflector and giving me general cycling tips. Fast, efficient and very friendly service. Glad to have found my go-to local bike shop!

What every bike store should be and what every neighborhood needs. Very knowledgeable small staff with decades of experience behind it. Full service, quality products, and not afraid to send you to the local expert when your obscure, out-of-production component needs servicing. Highly recommend.

I paid Duncan to service a component, when I noticed the issue he barely inspected it and the parts I had paid to replace were damaged as a result. Not a shop for the frugal DIY cyclist, if you have money to burn and don’t like wrenching on your own gear you might receive a warm reception.
