Lydia Ge is super friendly. Although I didnt get a bike from this store, her friendly service deserves acknowledgement, no questions about it. Until I got my bike rack, the fact that she was willing to deliver a bike I purchased with them to me (and Im far away from their store) is very remarkable. Plus their prices are comparatively great too. I completely recommend this place to yall!

Gene was really helpful and friendly. He quickly assessed things that I didn’t notice about my bike. Changed a flat tire, tightened up the brakes and derailleur among other things. Very fairly priced. Also gave me a cookie that his wife baked. Awesome chocolate chip cookie. Will definitely come back.

Great place I was on a bike ride with my staff we had too get a new tire Soo we called too see if the had the size we need and they did my staff thought that they could switch it out for him but we would had leave the bike there, luckily he use too fix bikes so he asked if he could borrow some tools and he would do it him self.

So far my experience was not the best. The “tune-up” my bike received I think was neglected until last second when I called and they scrambled to have it ready by the due date. Which was that day. I am only giving it 3 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt I will be returning today to either up my stars or downgrade them depending on their response to my concerns.Update: so I returned and I got my concerned addressed by Elliot. He was very helpful and heard me out. We addressed the issue and got the bike fixed. Ultimately after speaking with him and finding the issue I think it was a issue caused by me (whoops) or the fact that it’s a older bike either way. They made me feel heard and addressed my issue to my satisfaction. I will recommend friends and family here and when I am ready to buy new I will be giving them my business.

Showed up first thing on a Sunday morning, at the same time as two other customers. Staff were friendly and sorted everyone out efficiently. Took a rental up the Mt Lemmon highway (would recommend!) and it performed admirably - The well maintained drive chain stayed smooth all the way up and the brakes were responsive and powerful, letting me feel safe to fly back downhill.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.I took my bike to RR 3 weeks ago to get the flat front tire fixed and to do a tune up, including an adjustment on the breaks. One the things they convinced me to do was to switch both tubes to a more resistant one they had.Finally, on June 17 they called me to pick it up.On the very next day, after riding the bike in the morning, the front as flat again. I also noticed the breaks were not touched.I had a pump, so I was able to get home and I decided not to ride it again until I was sure the tire was fine.Yesterday, I rode it to work and guess what? Front tire flat one more time.Today I rode it (the tire got there flat again) to RR and asked them what happened. After a quick examination, the answer was: thorns!!! They found a very small one.I couldn’t believe. asked if the thorns were responsible for the flat tires all the time and they said “yes”. Funny that only the front tire was affected. The back tire was fine.Then the absurd happened: they would fix it but would charge me again!!!!So, the “stronger” tube they said they would install had exactly the same performance as the original one!These guys are crooks! They never did the job they were hired for. They never changed the tubes and never did the tune in.Another customer got there and when he left, I overheard the RR guys laughing and saying, “he will be back tomorrow, and we will charge him again”.So, that’s what they do: they promise a service, never do it and charge you twice, taking advantage of their customers during this time of crisis.I decided to leave, and l take my bike to another place.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

This place is a gem. My spouse and I rented bicycles at Christmas 2019 for a vacation in Tucson and came across Roadrunner Bicycles and Elliot. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end, and he was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and generous. We rented 2 road bikes, got fitted in a custom way (my spouse needed some tweaks which were done perfectly) and we followed Elliots suggestions for where to ride and crucially, where to get good coffee. A real find in Tucson

I walked into Roadrunner 3 times over the course of a week. I was looking at bikes from different businesses and learning a lot. The staff were very pleasant, answered all of my questions, and setup a handful of different bikes and frame sizes to ride. I found the perfect bike and ordered it. I was told it would show up in 3 days and they would call me when it was ready. I received a call at 10am, on the 3rd day, and the bike was ready as promised. Staff is really everything at a business, and ALL the staff members were great in explaining their rental process and providing me with a really nice road bike. They fitted me well with the bike, and when one overlooked my helmet rental when tallying up my rental order, they just simply included the helmet with my bike rental. Yay!Also, their prices are competitive, and they have a very generous return time. Again, I was very happy with their service and quality of the rental bike (Im considering buying that bike!). I would rent again from them in cycling heart beat. ;-)

We went to Roadrunner to rent bicycles to ride The Loop while my sister was in town. The bicycles were in excellent condition and were very easy to ride. Elliot and the staff took extra time to adjust the bikes to be sure they fit us. He dropped us off at the bike trail and picked us up after our ride. Everything about the experience, especially the friendly service was perfect. If you need to rent a bike in Tucson, dont hesitate to use Roadrunner Bicycles--theyre great.

Great bike shop with an awesome fleet of rental bikes. I have been dreaming of climbing Mt. Lemon ever since I moved to the FLAT Midwest and Roadrunner bikes made it possible. I flew in for a wedding and was able to squeeze a Lemon climb into the weekend thanks to them being so accommodating and helpful. Also, the road bikes they have for rent are brand new and are good enough for any ride or even racing.

The manager was very helpful. They built a Liv Sedona DX W for me to try in XS size, which was a little small. He suggested the Small. I received a call between 4-5 PM Saturday stating it was nearly ready and to come before closing (6pm) or Sunday after 11am. He stated they would hold the bike for 24 hours for me. I arrived at 11:50 AM Sunday to find they had sold it already to someone who just came in that morning! Apparently my name was not on the bike as it had been for the XS size. The salesperson said they now only had the black bikes in small in stock and offered to have that one built for me. I declined as I wanted the silver. Very disappointed!

Top notch bike shop!!! Every individual who helped my boys and I were warm and welcoming, helpful, and very knowledgable. You will truly be in good hands here.I needed to purchase two bikes for my boys and though they only had the perfect size for one of them, Roadrunner’s staff generously offered to do a free safety check on the bike we bought from the other store. They were even kind enough to gift some little perks for our purchase along with an invitation to come back for tune-ups and maintenance, which I did not have to pay extra for at the time of purchase but was asked to do so at the other store.If my boys weren’t SO eager to get their bikes I would have requested an order for the other bike and waited to make the other purchase. It would have been worth the wait, but torturous for my boy who had already been waiting for months.The impact and impression that a business makes when they care more about quality of service over quantity of sales creates more desire to give my business to the one who honestly cares about customer satisfaction. My wife got a flat when we were out on the Loop without our repair kit and the folks at RB quickly, professionally and kindly fixed it right away and got us back on the road. (Thanks also to the bus driver who left my wife ride to RB for free - next time we will be better prepared with kit and cash).

It is a family owned business with very knowledgeable staff. You can tell they really live what they are doing. They take the time to explain things to you. They are also reasonably priced on bikes, accessories, labor, & repairs. They are the only bike store I will go to. Thank you.

Ive purchased bike parts and service from this store several times. Always helpful. After the 2015 El Tour, I had them pack up a bike to ship back to Minnesota. Great price. They did a great job. Id also purchased 2 all season tires from them. When I unpacked the bike box at home I found they had even included a free store logo water bottle. Paul is very friendly and helpful. They dont oversell.

This is a small bike shop in a strip mall about 2 miles west of the Loop. I rented a bike to ride the Loop while I was in town. I placed my reservation a couple of weeks in advance, but the bike was not ready when I arrived. However, it didnt take long to get my seat and the pedals I requested on the bike and me out the door. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to bikes, except they didnt know much about the Loop. They did have a good supply of free area trail maps. Business was brisk for a Saturday morning. One recommendation would be to open a little earlier on Saturday for folks who need a quick repair or rental so they can be on their way before it gets too hot. Also, if you rent a bike and are bringing more than a phone and sunscreen, bring your fanny pack or backpack. The tool bags for the rentals are pretty small. Overall good experience. I recommend, as they have nice bikes for rent at a the best price I could find in town.

Bibi (or Beebee) was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. The selection of bikes was impressive. However, when I returned to the store to purchase a bike, a guy with a longer beard directed almost all of his comments and questions at my boyfriend, even after I made it clear that I was the one buying the bike and that it was for me. He never bothered to get my information, but got my boyfriend’s. Please learn to speak to your female clientele as independent consumers. This was an insulting experience.

Elliot has taken care of us most often, but every employee has been friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to assist. They love cycling here and want to help each customer have a great cycling experience.

I was visiting from out of town and wanted to rent a road bike for the day. I called the day before and the staff was friendly and accommodating despite my last minute call (unlike the other bike shop down the road that wanted me to put a deposit down online the night before for a pricier rental). They also gave me tips on great rides. When I return to Tucson, I will definitely go there again!

Excellent experience. I rented a nice carbon Fuji road bike to ride up and down Mt Lemmon for the first time, so great to have a good climbing bike w/compact gearing perfect for the climb. More importantly, VERY stable and comfortable on descent. Great value and friendly folks!

As a customer I am very impressed by the level of service Roadrunner bicycle offers. I recently took in my fixed gear bike to be assembled and my experience was very positive. The knowledgable staff are very courteous and professional. Prior to the assemble I was given a reasonable price and an accurate time to assemble my bike. My expectations were exceeded when my bike was ready. Chain was properly lubed. Seat-post included and headset properly aligned etc. After I picked my bike I was given a matching water bottle cage which completed the look of my bike. Took my Giant mountain bike in there for a tune-up and brake flush, not only did Paul treat me with a great respect and courtesy my bike was done perfect and delivered to me the very next day!!! Other bike shops,(Performance. Bikes)were very rude and wanted a two week wait to get my bike back plus they wanted 50 bucks more than Roadrunner!! I took my mountain bike in after picking up a couple hundred goatheads. They cleaned up the tires and had me back on the road two days later with new tubes. Very reasonable.

I went there because I needed a new front tire for my MTB and I didnt have that much experience with tubeless. They offer me a Contintental Mountain King 29x2.2 at a good price, they got it installed the same morning. Unfortunately the tire had some problem, it was leaking air slowly through the side of the tire, it wasnt a problem for a 3-4 hours ride, but I needed to pump it up every time I ride. I am a little it lazy for this stuff so I went to the shop months after. No problem, Elliot got me a brand new tire, 2.4 instead of 2.2 because I want it bigger. And they didnt charge me anything for it, they agree it was a factory problem, not the first time they see it on a Continental tire.I totally recommend Roadrunner Bicycles, you will get a great service!

Ive been going to Roadrunner Bicycles for a couple years now and have purchased two bikes, gotten tune-ups/repairs, purchased new parts, etc. All of the staff are good people and they always offer fair prices.

Walked in Christmas Eve with a BB that needed to be serviced fully expecting to drop it off and pick it up later. The mechanic dropped what he was doing and took care of it on the spot!
