I had a great experience at the store. The salesperson was very helpful. Most importantly, I took home a bike that my daughter loves. She is excited to ride, and I am just trying to keep up! We had tried out a cheaper department store bike first - it was really heavy and impossible for her to shift the gears. This Trek bike is light, fast, and easy for her to use - definitely worth it!

I had nothing but great experiences will the Techs, very experienced and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable putting my life in their hands. Ownership made poor choices to retain my loyalty.Purchased a DS about 5 years ago. Before my purchase I had little experience in cycling. Shortly after purchase I returned it for an adjustment, chain rub and lag in shifting. I was told that it was adjusted the best it could be and that I did not need all 27 gears. I put less that a thousand miles a year on my DS, I need all 27 gears. A few years in I became pretty good at making minor adjustments but would take it in for major adjustments. On my 4th year I took it a little to far and had to take it in to get the cables readjusted. That is when I found out the rear and front derailleur and cranks were miss match. I paid retail price for the bike, but got hosed. Ownership did not want to make it right, so I just kept making continuous minor adjustments. I will be replacing derailleur and cranks this year. I will not be using Trek. The wife is looking to pick up Mountain Biking as a hobby, possibly lifestyle. We will be avoiding Trek of Tucson.

This morning I had to make an emergency pit stop here at Trek. The tire on my burley nomad trailer picked up some goatheads and went flat. Borak the general manager really listened to my problem and went out of his way to get me and my bike and trailer back on the road again. The entire staff were extremely friendly and took the time to engage me on my travels across country. I felt very welcome by the staff and from hence forth I will use Trek bicycles as my go to bike shop. Thank you Borak and entire staff.

I have very little knowledge of bicycles (other than I know they are a blast to ride). I walked in to Trek Bike Shop with a beat up old bike that had been in my garage unused for about a decade. From ordering the bike over the phone from Wi, to trying it out, to having it serviced this is a great bike store. The staff knows bikes and loves biking and want to share their enthusiasm for the sport. I am a 69 year old lady and have now put 690 miles on my ebike and I love it. This is a fun place to shop. And the Trek Verve 2+ is a great bike, I can keep up with my husband and ride places I never could have before, has opened up my world. Taking it back to Wi for the summer to tackle the hills. I must have been there on a bad day. My service was horrible I showed up at 2:30 and all the windows and doors were closed with the security covers down. The sign said they were closed until 3 and they were doing cleaning and disinfecting the store. So I waited for the store to open. When they opened the store I walked up to go in and one of the employees jumped out and stopped me from going in and said “what do you need” I asked him if he could repair a wheel he said “let me look at it” I got the wheel from the back of my truck he didn’t even take it from to look at and said that he couldn’t fix it. I asked can you order me a new wheel and he proceeded to count the sprocket to see how many points he stoped a then started to count again. Then he asked me for my information and said he would check if he could get the wheel. All of this standing in the heat. He also told me to try Ajo Bike Shop. I cant say that this bicycle is bad, but I felt that I gotten taken by a shop concerned more with profit than customer service. I originally came in with a flat tire on my wifes bike...it needed a new tube and had to pay $5.00 labor and $9. for the tube. I then purchased a rear rack with what I thought were twin side baskets - it had only one basket when I came to pick up the bicycle. Rack and basket were at full retail with a $25.00 labor charge. Spent $113.00 total on a $299.00 bicycle. I called my old bicycle shop up in Glendale and discovered that for the same products and service I would have been out the door for less than $65.00. There seemed to be a lot of people working at Trek doing very little...the owner/manger gave me the impressed that his job was convincing everyone he was the boss! I guess Trek has to make a huge profit on each first time customer because I suspect all those people milling about doing very little need paychecks. I suspect very few people return for a repeat hosing. You might want to shop before you stop at Trek.

Wanted a specific Trek mountain bike; saw they had it in stock online so I went in to buy it after doing a little research on all of their models in case I wanted to make a last minute upgrade. I asked the sales employee for assistance but it was quickly obvious that I knew more about his products than he did. Overall, not a knowledgeable sales staff in my experience. I bought my previous Trek road bike at a LBS in Maryland; amazing customer service with lifetime (minor) adjustments (not full-on tune-ups) to cover things like brake pad wear, cable stretch, etc. This LBS, nothing of the sort. Not even once the cables stretch a little after the first hundred or so miles on the bike. I was disappointed that I could spend over $3000 on a MTB and not receive even one complimentary follow-on adjustment during the break-in period. Thats just poor business practice IMO.*addendum*The manager of the store gave me a call the next day based on my review to apologize for a misunderstanding of their policies regarding minor adjustments on their bikes. He was very nice when he told me that hed ensure the staff fully articulated their customer service to the customers. He also informed me that my first adjustment was not something theyd charge me for and that minor tweaks here are there arent an issue if I popped in while I was in the neighborhood. I like that they follow up on reviews and appreciate them reaching out to me; good customer service. I dont expect free tune-ups but as I said in my first post, the break-in period should be covered by any LBS. I will take them up on their service offer once the bike needs its first tweak and welcome the opportunity to shop there.

I highly recommend this Trek store.I brought them a couple of 700c x 23 tires (Vittoria Rubino Pro Endurance G+) to mount on a set of trek matrix wheels that were extremely difficult (I spent hours). One of the gentlemen there, Dee, politely wrangled the stubborn tires on the wheels in about 1.5 minutes each. My friend and I were astounded how professional he was and how fast he got them mounted. He even charged me a lower price than quoted on the phone (found out it was due to me removing the tires and testing the tubes before installation.)Top it all off with a complimentary presta valve cover (that I happened to be missing from one of the tubes), and you have a winning experience from certainly one of the best bike shops around.Trek has some of the best customer service around; Dee, at this Fort Lowell location, did not disappoint.Awesome, flawless experience. Thanks!

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION MAY VARYIf I could give this store less than 1 star Iwould.I just moved to Tucson 9 days ago and this is the closest bike shop to me.Prior to moving here my bmx bike was stolen. I had just gotten it back 7 days before i moved to Tucson.Obviously the thief rode my bike hard and beat up parts so i had to take it in to be serviced because he stole my tools as well.Upon taking my bike to Trek i met DEE.Who was very helpful and friendly and assured me that they would true my rims and do a standard tire adjustment i was qouted 25$ out the door and a same day service.I was literally told youll have your bike BACK today. Which is what i wanted because it was just stolen and i have ptsd over it being taken again.Between dropping it off and the end off thier day i had called 3 times and was reassured they were getring to my bike and it would be done.Well come 455. No call. So i called them and left a message.Saturday i had to work. I called 3 times and left a voicemail threating to involve the police department. Again no calls.I wouldve gone in but i was at work.Sunday they are closed and they still have my bike and havent returned a call.My theory is that on monday they are going to charge me a vast amount of cash for work i couldve done in an hour .It makes aense aa to why when i pulled my wallete out to pay for the ticket dee gave me she said oh ots ok you can pay when you pick your bike up.What they do is they judge the value of your bike. Tack on extra unneded service amd tell you well its only 135$ but your bikes worth 900. So if you dont pay for the work we did were keeping your bike.Thats the kind of store theese people are running. And ill be sure to update monday on what theu think thier going to charge me.The police have already told me this is a civil matter.UPDATE: i was charged 50$ for trueing both rims . when i picked up my bike they had to add air to my tires because they were flat. Both tires were full when dropped off and rideable. They popped my inner tube amnd put it back into the tire. And then inflated it infront of me before i left . it was flat later that afternoon. They also lost my front tires metal valve stem cap. This is by far the worst bike shop i have ever been too.UPDATE 2:I called the store back to complain about my flat tire and was givin the usual we didnt do that run around and ended up becoming so frustrated with thier terrible customer service i had to yell expoitives at the store manager amd hang up.I then called second store location and was given a call back by the general manager. After hearing my concerns and stating that basically they hold no blame for the flat tire but did admit to general employee incompetence on not returning left messages or calling cutomers to confirm bike pick ups,The manager asked what he could do to make it right. He even offered to fix the tube if they did indeed pop it but would have to look into it because he did not think a trek employee popped it.I basically had to request a full refund onto my card because i didnt trust them to work on my bike again. And even though they made it right in the end by offering a full refund. I feel if i hadnt pushed for one that i wouldnt have been offered one.Still wont be going to treks for my bike needs.

I’ve wasted so much money here. Countless wheel tru’s that don’t last a week and tunes ups that never fixed my shifting problems. My last time in I was explaining a weird intermittent metal clang noise coming from my bike. They gave me a run down of potential culprits, crank, chain may be too tight. Bla bla bla. Then he blamed the BB30 bottom bracket. Said they’d take care of it, “put some loctite on it.” $44 dollars later the metal clang noise continued. Went online and researched, turns out my seat was clamped Down too tight. My weight shifting slightly front and back on the seat was causing the noise. Loosened the bolts and viola. No more noise. What gets me is they charged me, refused to give me a refund and they really had no idea what was causing it, and, AND they didn’t fix it. $44 down the drain. Haven’t been back since and I don’t plan on it.

Great store! Exceptional customer service! Brendon was super friendly. He patiently helped me I try out different models over several visits to the store, including some which he took the pains to fetch from the other store over in Oro Valley. In the end, I was very pleased to make an educated choice. Heres the best part of my experience with the store though. The bike I chose was not in stock and we had to preorder. It turned out that a color other than the color that I wanted was becoming available way sooner. So, I decided to switch my choice of color just to have the bike delivered earlier even though I really liked the other color. The bike arrives, Brendon calls me up that the bike is ready for pick up, I go to the store, and BAM, I find there the color I had originally ordered!! Lucky me, apparently somehow one piece in that color became available. But still I salute Brendon for remembering how much I really liked that color and to have quickly grabbed that piece as soon as he came to know of its unexpected availability at the warehouse. I cant think of better customer service and satisfaction that this. Really happy I bought my bike here.

Traveling on a year long mtb road trip. My Trek Farley EX8 needed warranty repairs for the 6th time in 7 months. I had a month in AZ for them to get the parts and repair it before moving on. They supposedly couldnt get Trek to send them the correct parts 3 separate times. After a month of waiting I have picked up my bike and am hoping there is a reputable shop in SoCal that can help me. Uuuugh.Edit- I was contacted by Trek. They indicated that fault was theirs and not Trek Tucson. In review, service at the shop was good considering they had no control over the parts being sent to them. Trek has assured me that the coding in their distribution system has been corrected as well.
