Simmons Automotive performed regular maintenance plus critical repairs on my 1997 pickup. I took it elk hunting in northern New Mexico. I was on some of the steepest rough roads up there. The truck performed perfectly. Thank you Simmons for the safe enjoyable hunt.

We appreciate the diagnostic work done when we brought our Chrysler 200 in for a second opinion. A brake shop had diagnosed a pulsing of the brakes to require replacement of front and back rotors. Before we could tell them the rotors were warrantied by Simmons they told us they had replaced the front rotors and billed us for them. When we brought the car to Simmons to evaluate the rear brakes they also looked at the front rotors. It turned out that work had not been done as described. Simmons replace the front rotors under warranty and determined that there was no need to replace the rear rotors. We received a refund from the brake shop.

I was towing a trailer through Tuscon on the way to Louisiana when the rear end on my truck blew out. I started calling places I found after a Google search and everyone was booked weeks out. Wade gave me a list of places he would trust and lucky for me a shop got me in the same day. I cant speak to the work they do at Simmons but with that level of customer service and trying to do all he could to help even though he wasnt making any money on it, I know I would give them a shot if Im in the area and needed anything done. Without a doubt, they would be my first call.

Employee Luke was very attentive to me he figured out quickly what my problem on my 1970 Chevelle drive line. Work was on time for a reasonable price with explanation on what was needed and ultimately done to my car. Great place to do business with. I will be back. It truly feels as though they added an additional 100 hp to my 2009 directly from Japan, less than 69,000 miles engine in my 2006 Honda Civic-EX Coupe. Their MOTOR-VAC FLUSH IS NOT a comedy hour, what a difference in acceleration, and quickness; I HONESTLY have to watch my speeds as never before because the engine begs me to accelerate. I had a sudden coolant leak that was dumping the antifreeze out very rapidly. I was afraid that it was going to be expensive, I couldnt see the leak itself, just the water and steam flowing out. Simmons rapidly found the problem and had a reasonable solution, at a price much lower than I was expecting. They did a great safety check on the truck, identifying areas for me to pay attention to.They had done some major repairs last year, which made the truck drive really well on our 18,000 mile trip last summer. My wife and I are so glad we had them do the work.

Couldnt ask for better service, pricing and turnaround. I needed a custom driveshaft and Luke and his team hit it out of the park in less than 3 days and had it delivered to Sierra Vista free of charge. These guys are absolutely amazing!

Unprofessional, dishonest, overpricedI spoke to them about doing the work and I asked for the highest estimate for the work. I was told it was $550. The truck was left there, the owners son called and I missed the call and when I called Back the owners son informed me decided to conduct additional repairs to the truck, without my approval to the amount of 608.I called five other shops and they provided estimates for the work. One shop provided and estimate of 350 and the four others provided estimates of near 450 for the repair. When I call to speak to the owners son about this he was rude and advised he did the repair because he believed we would want this part.I needed the truck for the weekend so I paid the bill, but I will never go here again. I would never recommend this place to anyone.My requirements are not difficult. I would like to pay a fair price for professional work. This did not happen today.

This is a very professional Automotive Repair Shop; I have known the owner Jerry for over 20 years; very nice man and a straight shooter; there is no such thing as a free lunch; but Mr. Simmons will buy you a cup of coffee; Service Manager Mike or as i use to call him Gabe! A sharp apple and really cares about his customers; they treat the Military Great! I have only been in a couple of times because I still have maintenance for life; but for any major stuff or fluid exchanges these guys rock! Jerry and Mike are the Best in the West!

Very knowledgeable and affordable with a quick turnaround. Had a driveshaft made and only reason Im not rating them 5 stars is when they painted the driveshaft they also painted half of the slip yoke for some reason instead of leaving it with the original nice finish. All in all great service!

These guys are really awesome. We were traveling through Tucson on our way to Texas with horses in the trailer when we started having truck problems. Not a single shop or dealership could even squeeze us in to diagnose the problem, but the folks at Simmons made time, had us in immediately even though they were obviously busy, and got us right back on the road. Quality people and quality work, well never forget their awesome service in our time of need!

Ive had problems with my front CV joint collecting mud and needing to install a new front drive shaft, u-joint and CV. Simmons came up with their own fix. They found a boot made for something else, made it to fit my front CV, and now wont collect anymore mud. This fix should prevent me from needing to replace the front drive shaft, u-joint and CV. Its nice to see a company can come up with a fix for something the manufacture made wrong.

Wade and the crew always do a great job. I was curios as to the status of my fluids when I dropped off the car and Wade had a comprehensive list of the present age and the mileage remaining on all the fluids when I picked up the car. In addition, the shuttle service works great; Luke always knows where to go after your first trip with him.

I bought a 15 yr old conversion van with front-end trouble and took it to so many shops to get road-safe that my head was spinning, I was out almost $3k, and it still didnt drive right after weeks of being without a vehicle. What a nightmare. Finally, someone at Jack Furrier recommended Simmons 4x4. They were very professional and thorough, finding critical adjustments that couldve been disastrous and for once, corrected my problem. They also warned me of parts wearing out that I should budget for but still had life left. The really weird thing is that multiple other shops could not even align my vehicle, claiming it was too big or too small for their racks. What?! But Simmons finally got it right. Lastly but not any less important for great service, the owner of the company gave me a ride home to Green Valley and picked me up the next day. How great is that?! I sure wish Id found Simmons first but at least now I appreciate them more.

Always quick, always friendly, and always honest.Ive been bringing our vehicles here since 2005 and Ive never had anything but the best of service. Estimates up front, if something else is found they always contact me before taking any action.Simmons over the years has worked on my Chevy truck, Ford minivan, multiple Jeep models and they are always easier to work with than any dealership Ive tried to work with.Actually had a problem with a Jeep and took it back to a dealer twice, paid twice, was assured it was fixed and still had the same problem.Simmons found it and fixed it, one shot.Thank you Simmons off-road for working on anything I bring you.

Brought my 2004 Jeep Wrangler that I had just bought in for some electrical problems last year. They were very quick to diagnose the bad alternator among several other issues (evidence of the previous owner likely trying to figure out the electrical problems). When the replacement alternator broke a few months later they were quick to honor their warranty on the part and get it repaired. In both instances they had the Jeep fixed in less than 24 hours. I just purchased a 2012 F250 and will be taking it to Simmons for any necessary repairs.

I brought my vehicle in for full service, bumper to bumper - the works - and walked away several thousand dollars poorer.When you drop that amount of money, you expect your vehicle to run like it was new.By coincidence, I had to tow my vehicle to another garage to remove a faulty kill switch just a few months later because it was the best garage in the tow companys radius. The garage did a routine inspection and found that the radiator had a leak, and the coolant and brake fluid were running on empty, and had been leaking for quite a long time - all items I had paid Simmons to supposedly fix.This maintenance issue could have destroyed my engine.But Simmons took my money and let me drive away.I will never return to their garage.

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 4 x 4 which I love and have had very few problems with. The transmission died when I had over 279,000 miles on it. I decided to go to Simmons to get it replaced and pretty much gave them carte blanche to get the drive train rebuilt. The truck is running like new again (except for the engine which wasnt worked on).This wasnt a cheap fix, this was a real rebuild. If you want a quick and dirty repair, this isnt the place to go. If you love your 4 x 4 and dont have $55K for a new one a Simmons repair is the way to go.

I am the proud owner of a 2000 Chevy Impala and a bit of a legacy as it was a gift from my Dad to my Mother for their 50th wedding anniversary. But everyone new it was Dads car. I have done my best to keep the old girl in good shape but ran across a problem I couldnt resolve.Having had issues with another vehicle with a great outcome, I called and scheduled an appointment.When I came in Gabe listened to my concerns and was very easy to work with.Long story short, they tested and determined that my ECM had gone bad (cooling fans ran constantly). Gave me the cost to repair and while not inexpensive (computers never are) they were precisely correct in their diagnosis.I now have a 15 year old car that runs as new and couldnt be more pleased.I highly recommend this business of skilled professionals and people friendly, well... people.Sincerely,Owen Bowden
