I had been referred to this place from Troy Auto Care, Premier Drive @Troy. I called in for an appointment and Ivan was able to schedule it within 24 hrs timeframe. Took my Sedan for brakes service. Service was professional and Front Desk was very accommodating. Ken Cagle kept me engaging on status of the service as I sat in a corner and was working. Yes! They have a beautiful Customer lounge and facility to connect to Wifi and do our business. I still have to verify the pricing since it was little high than the market rate. But, overall the Service was professionally executed within the said time. In my 2 hours window, I could see Customers walking out with a happy face and gratitude for their Service.

Nice to have a place close to home that will service our Class C RV. Had appointment for oil change. They called us early to say they had a cancellation. Service provided in amount of time stated up front. Fair price for the service. Good value. Staff always friendly and professional.

Discovered them 5 years ago and theyve continuously been trustworthy, communicative, and timely. Their work has been great. What puts these guys over the top has been their customer service. Recently one of my parts went bad, which was less than a month old and still in warranty. They made it their top priority and replaced it at no cost, no labor charge. Absolutely STELLAR customer service, friendly etc, did not try to upsell me on anything! No less then 2 people offered me water and coffee and they put air in my tires etc and checked fluids etc and I was just there for an oil change. I used a Groupon and still got the best service! Horrible service over price you triple the amount from on line prices on parts very dishonest I have a beautiful 1972 Monte Carlo all custom these scammers are tearing my car apart every time i took my car there they claim to fix one problem only for something else to go wrong i wish i could post a pic of my car on hear to show it’s beautiful ness they charged me 1,600 for new spark plug wires and to pour a electric chocke on my carburetor now my electric fans went out and the Valcovers are leaking oil on to the heads and motor block so embarrassing the way my car is smoking my motor was all chromed out shiny 400 small block now it’s turning dull i will never recommend no one to these crooks i wrote another review and some how it’s getting erased they don’t won’t people to no that they are scamming and getting over in anyway possible please don’t waste your time with these boot leggers

This place is the best. The owner used to have a place in Royal Oak that I would always go to and by chance I found his new spot here, and have brought my car back 3 times. They made sure my car would be ready when I needed it! Very friendly too, they love my 2008 manual trans fusion as much as I do. Lifetime customer for sure.

Dropped my car off for an oil change. They didnt try to sell me on extras, let me drop of my car early and I even called to pick it up early and it was already done.

Needed a 200k mile vehicle inspection before a road trip. Auto and Truck Repair was able to get me in on schedule and gave me confidence it passed.

They left my car dirty and changed settings on my a/c and stereo

So took my bucket truck in for dot inspection, parking brake was Inop, noted and was quoted 925 to repair, added some other items to repair, go to pick up truck, was a whopping 2900 dollars later. Blamed excessive time on braking system. This was taking in a year ago, before pandemic. So mid summer brake squeakers began squawking, drove it till now, pulled apart rear axel assembly, see some new parking brake shoes, nothing else, everything they quoted as an issue wasnt replaced. If you have a medium duty truck avoid this place, didn’t do what they said they did. Let alone the rear regular brakes needed to be done, old axel seals, just not what I would have expected. Also did an alignment, didn’t center the steering wheel. Avoid..: I did call at the time, were short staffed due to pandemic and was basically told they don’t have time for me. Never again, got me once, won’t get me again.

These guys are awesome! They are so kind and friendly, and they love to joke around with their clients but they do great work, too. If you have a budget in mind, theyre also willing to work with you to try and accommodate you to the best of their ability! Evan and Scott have always treated me well and the mechanics have done great work on my car every time. I would highly recommend Metro 25!

Towed in at noon, out with anew starter by noon. Also this year fixed major oil leak by replacing the valve cover gaskets, also fixed a coolant leak by replacing the intake manifold gasket. This is my go to shop for car repair, good quality work.

We called ahead to be sure we could drop off a utility trailer for some work. We were told Saturday drop was fine but when we arrived Saturday morning we were abruptly told by the man behind the counter that he was all by himself that day and could not accommodate us for leaving our trailer. Very unprofessional!!! A lot of effort for nothing.

Ive been going here for years and had great service until my last visit. When you receive a quote the bill should be near the amount quoted, but instead it was almost twice the amount quoted without any further notice given (we are talking hundreds not small dollars). To top it off they insisted on charging a 50$ overnight delivery charge for a part that took a week to ship. I will not be back. Good luck with the newer technician Ivan, he will lie right to your face.

It used to be good. But now they overcharge for parts between 40% to 55% in comparison to online shops with free delivery, which is absurd. The last time I was there, they broke one of my tire pressure sensors while they were changing the tires and asked me to pay for a replacement. The price was 80$; really!? Almost twice as expensive as the most expensive pressure sensor out there (OEM part). By the way, the quotes over the phone are considerably different than the price you will be charged there. (295$ -> 365$, brakes and rotors replacement without any complications)

Quick efficient and friendly staff. They have a great waiting room with Wi-Fi, a nice size TV mounted on the wall, and an area for your children to stay busy. Alert you to issues with your car but don’t press to have them fix there. That’s the kind of place I like to go to not a hard sell. I thanked them and simply said that my brother will take care of it.

I love this place! I discovered it when I was poor and got a Groupon for an oil change. I have been going ever since. As a lot of other people mentioned, their discount card is great and saves me a ton of money. The guys are very nice and friendly. They are fair and honest and tell you what you actually NEED and what can wait. They are super quick too. The last time I got an oil change, I barely got situated in the (nice, comfy) waiting room and they came to get me to say my car was done!PS I saw someone mentioned below that she felt mistreated as a woman. Not to discount her experience but I feel it important to say that I have NEVER felt that way from these guys. That is a big part of the reason I am always raving about Auto and Truck Repair. They have always treated me with complete respect and last time even waited for me when I was a few minutes past closing to pick up my car!

These guys are great and saved me a ton of money! When i came back from vacation, my car wouldnt start so i took it to some no-name dealership who then proceeded to quote me @ $850 for the fix, claiming it was a faulty Hands-Free module and there was a drain on the battery because of it. I almost went through with it, but opted to listen to my gut and get a second opinion. I then took it to Auto and Truck Repair (Metro 25), and literally, within the hour i handed the keys to them they figured out that it was simply the battery being faulty and not the Hands-Free module. They saved me $100s of dollars and got my car back to me ASAP. Definitely thankful i found these guys and am planning on making them my go-to mechanic in the future.

Horrible communication! I have had work done here a few times before and the work is usually solid. However, I had a car in for some work about 3 weeks ago and it was a horrible experience. The problem is NOT the work itself, its the communication. I made an appointment for a Thursday and dropped my car off on Wed evening. I knew the job was labor intensive and they told me the week before it would take about 6-8 hours to complete. I expected it to be done in 1 day. I called at 7:30AM on Thurs morning and talked to Evan. He asked me if it would be a problem if they couldnt get it done in 1 day. I said yes but I could make some arrangements if needed. I told him to call me. Well, by mid day, I had no call about the car, so I called them. Evan said it wasnt looking good to be finished that day. I asked him to call me later in the afternoon to update me so that I could make arrangements if it wouldnt be done. But nothing. At 5PM, I called back and talked to Scott this time. I found out that Evan left on vacation for the afternoon, but never bothered to call me. I was really upset and let Scott know about it. Of course, he apologized and he told me that hed talk to Evan and make sure he called me in the morning. On Friday morning, I got NO call. By noon, I was steamed. I really laid into Evan when I called at noon telling him that this was completely unacceptable communication. By this time, my car had been there for a full day and a half and they had never initiated a call to me ... I had to call them to find anything out. That is NOT what I expect for customer service. At 3PM, Evan finally initiated his first call to me and said that the car wouldnt be done by the end of the day. Again, I was steamed. I did understand that the job was labor intensive, but that is exactly why I made an appointment. No way I expected this to take MORE than 2 full days. Evan did call me a second time at 5PM on Friday to confirm that it was not ready. I asked him about finishing it up on Saturday. He said that the technician was not working on Saturday and they would finish it up on Monday. Talk about disappointing and frustrating... I was beyond upset. Unfortunately, I was going out of town for business and wouldnt be there on Monday. So I gave them my wifes number and asked them to call her for pickup. Heres the real rub ... When she picked it up on Monday, she found out that the car was actually finished up on Saturday but they never bothered to call her and tell her it was ready. This is the absolutely worst communication Ive ever had with any service on a vehicle or anything else. The bottom line is that Im not complaining about the quality of work or the price. But because of horrible communication, they have lost a customer ... and word-of-mouth is powerful, so Im telling my sad story to anyone and everyone.

Whenever I have car problems I dont even think of bringing my vehicle anywhere else but Metro 25. Scott and the rest of the crew always make sure that everything is taken care of. I have had 3 visits thus far, and everything went well. They provide very good customer service, and I value the information that they provide via the FREE Inspection. Ive noticed that my receipts continue to recommend repairs that are no longer needed, and would prefer that the receipts correctly reflect the condition of my vehicle. I would also prefer to have the option to stop in for an oil change, without an appointment, but I do understand that appointments help with the management of time and resources. Overall, I plan to continue using the services at this facility, and look forward to continued satisfaction.

I used a Groupon to receive an oil change and tire rotation. I made an appointment which I was asked the model and make of my car. When I walked in the day of my appointment, I again stated the model and make of my car. After a half hour of waiting I was then informed that my car takes a special type of oil and would need to pay an additional $30. With being a woman and having numerous experiences with car places ripping me off, I called my father to make sure this wasnt occurring again. He guided me to take my car some place else. The problem came with the men at Auto and Truck Repair already taking the oil out of my car assuming I was going to pay them this extra amount. I was then told I needed to look at my owners manual and check what type of oil my car needs. I also was told I needed to sign a piece of paper which was very rudely stated how I called my dad and how I being an adult chose to go with what my father suggested. I found this place completely unprofessional and feel a man would have NEVER been treated this way. I did look at my owners manual which stated regular oil is fine to use and I can use the synthetic oil next time. Also, youd think with so much experience, these men would know ahead of time what type of oil certain cars take, and ask a customer what direction they would like to take before taking the oil out of their car.I will never go to this place again and would never recommended them to anyone, especially females.

They stand behind their work. I would recommend this place to anybody. The shop is ver trustworthy and did great work with my car. Previous places I have taken the car into have had trouble with my specific brakes, but the shop not only handled the repair well, they listened to all of my concerns and history with the vehicle. I will be coming back here for as long I live in the area.

I would totally recommend this place for the vehicle servicing. I always used to go to the dealer for oil change but since my friend recommended I have been coming here. You will have to buy a card for oils change. It might sound funny but every other oils change is free.. I wish I knew this few years ago! Would have saved a lot. The only problem is that you will need to reserve a slot. But if you do, these are the pros to go!

This place is amazing!! My wife’s Jeep was having some issues and we took it here. You could tell they were busy but Scott was really cool, took the keys and said he would figure out what’s going on. The staff was professional and courteous and made me feel comfortable as I waited for my vehicle. My service was completed quickly and I didnt have to wait at all for my scheduled appointment time.

They took 2 weeks Diagnosing a problem They told me it was the transmission control module. And charged $1500. I drove the vehicle home And when I got there a did not start up with that I called metro 25 And they said that they would look at it when they get a chance. I then left a badd review that they asked me to take down in exchange for fixing my vehicle which was supposed to already have been done. They said they switched a few minor things on the starter and they had no problems with the vehicle and gave it back to me. With in the next 2 days my transmission was switching exactly the same way it was before I brought it in and was consistently getting worse. I brought it to a another shop the transmission control module was fine never needed to be replaced it was my ECM board That needed to be clean Now my car is running fine. Please dont bring your car to metro 25

I went in for an oil change. It took an hour and a half because they spilled oil all over my engine. They only told me why it was taking so long after I asked. My car now smells like burning oil. They “compensated” me for wasting my time and making my car smell horrible by giving me a $7 oil plug. I will not be returning.

Words are inadequate, but I will attempt to describe how highly I regard the gentlemen at Metro25, particularly Joel. Joel and his guys helped me when I had a major emergency engine issue that brought me to their doorstep. Not only did they fix my issue at a fraction of what the dealership was going to charge, but they also took care of other things and kept it within my budget. I will unequivocally recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Car service is stressful but these guys make it enjoyable.Not only do they get to know your cars history over time, but they make an effort to know their customers on a personal level. I trust them with any suggested repairs or maintenance, and it helps that their estimates are reasonable (not to mention their awesome coupon card saves me money left and right... good for 24 months). Theyve helped me out a TON, I honestly feel like family or a close friend.

I took my vehicle in for a second opinion when I didnt feel comfortable with a dealerships inspection of work needed on it. Not only was some of the work not needed but I was being severly overcharged. Will drive from Ypsi area to get my work done from now on. Scott was very professional and they did a great job of making sure my needs were well taken care of.

I talked to Joel at Auto and Truck (Metro 25) when my car wouldnt start. After Joel diagnosed the issue, he called me and explained in detail exactly what went wrong and all of the possible solutions he could use to fix it. He was extremely honest with his information and even showed me the damaged parts when I went in. Joel went to great lengths to make sure I knew exactly what went wrong, what I was billed for, and what all of my options were. I cannot recommend this team enough! He made sure I got the best deal possible, and even waived some extra fees for me because my car had lots of issues. I refer everyone I know to this place! You cant find a more reliable and honest auto shop than this.

Solid operation. No BS to sell you. I had a little episode with a few wild squirrels that decided to take up residence rent-free in my older model Cadillac Devilles engine bay and anywhere else they could fit their little free-loading behinds They amassed the most absurd amount of black walnuts they could manage to cache away for the winter. While cruising care-free North on Rochester Rd to my honeycomb hideout, from my chiropractic appointment with my most illustrious and gorgeous female Chiropractor Whom shall remain nameless my Power Steering suddenly failed Being the natural Arthur Herbert Fonzarelli that I am, I kept it Kool and the Gang until I arrived back at my fortress of solitude. upon popping the hood, I was absolutely aghast to find that the aforementioned Walnut cache of legend had managed to kick the serpentine belt right off of its pulley mooring. With the problem identified, I took audit of the useful and mechanically-inclined individuals in my personal sphere of influence that may be so kind as to help a brotha out for the low (if not for free). Because I am partially brain dead and disabled from a recent cruel joke of fate, but Im not stupid and sometimes I require professional hitters to do my dirty work for me. Upon exhausting all of my personal options to no avail. I decided to change tact and call the real shooters at Metro25 on Stephenson Hwy. just South of the infamous exit 69 off of interstate75 that will take you to a certain notorious playground of anarchy known as Detroit, (if thats your sort of lifestyle) in the Well-governed and virtually Crime-Free city of Troy, Michigan (Not to be confused with those other cities of the same name in less desirable states in this vast and infinitely blessed country Called America.) Upon calling Metro25, My main concern was if they had a vehicle towing service to come pick up my much beloved four-wheeled, Detroit born Princess whom could only have been envisioned and created by the likes of those that live within my general vicinity Here in the Motor City . A pleasant voice on the other end of the line by the name of Avan listened dutifully to my concerns and desires, and within 5 minutes his towing professional was in my driveway executing the plan like a clandestine, elite special forces operator sent to save 007 from certain peril. Within the hour, I received a touchdown confirmation call from Avan stating that my Cadillac had successfully arrived at Metro 25s little shop of miracles. I was given a reasonable estimate after My girl was thoroughly inspected and also assured of its Estimated time of completion (ASAP), the estimated cost was within my expectations so I told him to shoot the moon and get er done. All of those walnuts my deceptively cute furry little squatters had so diligently squirreled away for the winter were promptly located en mass and removed to secure my iron steed would once again be worthy of the roads of Michigan that notoriously remain in a constant state of maintenance. Upon completion, Avan dutifully confirmed it was go time. I procured a ride to Metro25 from my Ubermensh of a neighbor (Mr. Schultz) that is of the utmost quality of a human with his 90+ years of inhabiting this troubled planet with grace and dignity as a Proud WWII era Navy veteran that refuses to rest on his laurels and surrender to mediocrity or cease in his his quest with his lovely wife Bunny whom he has been devoted to for a time span that eclipses my very own physical existence on Earth by a matter of numerous decades of the much overlooked jewel known as The Right Thing To Do. When all was said and done, My Cadillac was back in tip-top shape, A free-loading squirrels harvest was destroyed and his winter shelter plans had been thwarted.
