I was recommended to Prescott Import when I first purchased my 2016 VW Beetle. I’m very particular about my cars and who services them. From Day 1, I have had nothing but amazing service there. They’re very welcoming the minute you walk through their doors, respect their customers and do everything possible to make you feel extremely comfortable. If you need transportation to get to work, and give them enough notice they will also do everything they can to either loan you one of their cars or have an employee drive you to your job location. They are also very honest…. I will never take any of my imported cars anywhere else, ever again. I highly recommend them.

Had a warranty issue, with a few codes thrown, on my Touareg TDI. They diagnosed completely, worked with VW with regard to warranty coverage, ordered parts, installed and calibrated. Vehicle now runs perfect again. I have used them in the past for VW maintenance, and never had a complaint.

I had to come in to get an extra key for my VW Passat. I wasnt sure when I called if theyd be able to help because online it said you had to contact a certified dealer for Volkswagen. Prescott Import Car Service is indeed a certified dealer and can get those types of parts. David was so great and truly helped me out. The turnaround was so quick. Prescott Import Car Service has performed all the maintenance on our 2017 VW Golf since we moved to the area several years ago. They always treat us with respect and their work is top-notch. Accusation of taking food off their plate. I just recently moved to prescott and was looking for a good shop. They started out good but once they had a problem the service manager attitude took a turn for the worse. They had to spend extra time on finding the problem and thats when he got nasty. He stated I will consider diagnosing your car even though I already paid $280 to do so but their solutions were all wrong. He made me feel like a freeloader even though I was paying. He even made my mom cry for bringing in the wrong part but that is another story. It was not a good experience and I also never post reviews. However, this situation was so unusual that I had to say something. They are looking for volume and markups with little work to be done. If you have some sort of gremlins in your car dont go there as the service manager will turn the tables on you making you feel as if you are doing something wrong. I personally am a manufacturer and always stand behind my items. If you have a problem I will fix it or replace it. I would never accuse a customer of being a thief if they are paying. So please be wary. Hopefully this individual gets his walking papers before he gets your money.

This is the best car service we,ve ever had. Staff is always knowledgeable and thorough, even with my husbands older treasure. We are confident in their diagnosis and honest estimates on all of our vehicles. So grateful that we found them when we moved to the area.

They are always nice there. Last time I took the car in for an oil change they missed something. They were very prompt about fixing it under warranty as soon as I told them about it. When I went in with a dead battery. I happened to mention that I had lost my car key. Turned out they had it. I was very pleased

I only needed my headlight restored (not a big job), but they got it done in less than 10 minutes, were super kind/professional, and had my car parked right at the front door when it was finished; nice touch!

Great service facility. We own two Land Rovers (2008 & 2015) and these guys keep them performing beautifully. Work is always done right the first time, and vehicle comes back clean and ready to roll. Very reasonable fees. You can trust these people with your vehicle and know that the work has been done with care, and that its been done right. Fast service, great customer service.

COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT!!!I took my BMW in for them to fix my oil leak and they ended up ripping up at least 3 of the hoses and damaging the entire system.Prior to fixing the oil leak they insisted on doing a complete diagnostic work up for $135. No mention of any problems other than the oil leak.The morning after I got it home I noticed another leak. I immediately took it back over there. They said it wasnt the oil it was my rack and pinion. Suddenly It is leaking major after I had them fix the oil leak. Quite a coincidence Id say. They told me it would be $4000 to fix it. Needless to say I took it somewhere to fix that problem. So whether they did that on purpose or it was an accident I dont know. But 2 months later, now the oil leak is back in full force. ABSOLUTELY NEVER take my vehicles back there ever again! This shop has cost me $5000 and I got nothing but more problems for it.I ended up having to take my car to Prescott Tire Pros, They were awesome!

I just bought a used 2004 Volvo for our 16 year old son. I took it to Prescott Import to have a used car inspection done. I was so pleased with their customer service and honesty! It does need some struts replaced but they said it wasnt something that needed to be done now and the car was in great shape. They said I could drive it for a long time before I really needed to bring it back in. They were friendly, professional and more important....HONEST! I loved it and would recommend to anyone! - Amy

I was extremely hesitant about taking my V10 Audi S6 to anyone other than the dealership, but after some research I took a chance on Prescott import car service. I was impressed with the price and quality of the work. I now have a lifetime mechanic I can trust. If they can do good work on a supercar, I recommend them to anyone who gets as nervous as I do about trusting your car to someone new.

I have had several major repairs performed at this facility, and in every case the work has been done correctly, on time, and at the quoted price. No suprises. This makes me feel confident about returning for any future needs. The service manager, Dave, is both professional and friendly.

Wish I had this shop where I live! I purchased an Audi TT over the internet and asked them to perform an inspection of the vehicle. They inspected the vehicle and emailed a detailed report with photos. After I agreed to the purchase, I asked them to perform a repair of the right paddle shift switch which they did. They had noted earlier of some minor scratches on the car and they buffed the entire car. While there, they also changed the oil. The cost of all of this work was very reasonable. They even offered to keep the car in their garage until I flew out there to pick it up. Dave and Brandon were very friendly and professional. Just wish they were here in Texas! Thanks guys!

We have been using Prescott Import Car Service for several years. They always have a very professional atmosphere and demeanor when dealing with you regardless of whether it is a simple basic repair or more complicated and even a repeat under their warranty. Though this has not occurred where it was actually a fault on them (in our case) but the OEM part. We highly recommend them and will continue to use for the future.

I had my 2002 Prius in for service this week, and as always, both the service and the work was absolutely top notch. The staff and mechanics dont just shrug and give up when the problem isnt obvious but keep at it until they determine what is wrong and repair it. Also, it would have been easy for them to sell me an extremely expensive part, but since they found that wasnt the root problem, they sent me on my way with a much smaller bill. I truly appreciate the friendly, thorough, and customer-oriented service I have received from this group.

Davis at Import Service was fabulous. My daughter is living away from home for the first time and had trouble with her VW. I found these guys on-line and after reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. Being that I am in Dallas, they could have told me that anything was wrong with the car, and I would have had no way to verify. They troubleshot to a bad component in the electrical system and had the car finished in a couple of hours and for a minimal charge. I am thankful for their honesty and integrity.

This is an update to my previous review. The service manager got in touch with me right away and asked me to bring my car back in. I was very well taken care of and they apologized and told me about procedure changes to prevent things from falling through the cracks like that again. To me that shows what a top notch business this is. Their work was always five star, now their customer service is too.I took my German-built VW Passat here several times. I trusted the work and felt they were honest and well-priced. However, the last time I went they wanted to replace a belt. I pointed out that they had replaced that same belt a year ago. They looked it up and found out I was correct so now wanted to understand the reason for the belt’s continuing issue (uneven wear). Their VW expert was out that day so they said they would get back to me. Never did. I called about 3 weeks later and VW expert was on a test drive and they would call me back. Never did. I called a month after that was told someone would call me after they spoke to VW expert. Never did. Pretty pathetic follow up. Maybe it’s because I pointed out that they had already fixed it once, and at that time told them it been replaced the year before by a VW mechanic in a different state, and they blamed the issue on that shop. But, I don’t know because they never got back to me.

It sounds to me like all of the negative reviews here are bogus! I have had nothing but good experiences with Import Auto. Ive brought my 2000 Jetta here a few times for oil changes and check-ups. They really seem to know what they are doing and they have even been kind enough to work with a family member of mine who lives back east and is a mechanic. Friendly, professional, free shuttle service, good work.If youve had good experiences with Import Auto, write them a good review! They deserve a good reputation.

I was hesitant to take my 2002 BMW 525i to this shop but seen good reviews so I went for it. All I needed was an alignment, actually just some camber taken out of the rear, having excessive tire wear. I dropped of my BMW at 800am. I get a call around 930am I believe from the tech working on my car asking me what it was I was trying to accomplish. I told him about tire wear and needed some camber taken out. He said ok no problem. Then I get a call around 200pm saying I need to replace all these part before they can do the alignment said it would cost about 1400.00. I said no way, I was heading to Phoenix the next day and would have my regular guy look at it. Then they started to insult me and my intelligence. Never will I go back to this place. It is worth it to me to drive to Phoenix to have my BMW worked on. By the way my mechanic said everthing was good, only needed on part, which cost about 60.00 plus about 1-1 1/2 hours labor.

Trust your vw to these folks. The mechanics are top notch and thorough. They accurately diagnosed the problems with my jetta on several occasions, providing realistic options on what to do and what it might cost. A reliable shuttle service is an important part of making things work out when you dont have a ride.

We were travelling in the Prescott area in our 1992 Volkswagon Eurovan, when we experienced mechanical issues with the van. Dave and his Team where very impathetic to our situation, and were able to quickly diagnose the problem and fit our vehicle into their busy schedule, repairing the problem, and thereby allowing us to continue our trip with minimal disruption to our travel plans.Dave also afforded us the opportunity to overnight park in their parking lot, preventing us from incurring the cost of overnight accommodations.Dave and his Team were extremely proffessional, and went the extra distance with the superior service and customer care they provided.I highly recommend Prescott Import Car Service for your imported vehicle needs.
