I’ve been coming here for oil changes since 2018 and the service has always been great. Cheap prices and they are always willing to answer any additional questions as well. Also going to replace my a/c compressor and they evacuated the system for no charge. These guys are awesome.

I was recommended to come here for an oil change a couple years ago and I am so glad I listened. The people here are friendly, professional, and most importantly I fee are honest. They don’t upsell things I don’t need to have done so when they say something is needed I trust it. They are prompt with their service. I won’t go anywhere else.

Its been months since I was able to fill up my gas tank due to a leaking fuel filler hose and neck. I called around and Oil Rig was the only one willing to install the new one Id bought. They were busy (because theyre good) but I finally got in, they got it put in and charged me a great rate. I can now fill up my tank without concern or leaking. So glad I checked them out.

The only place I go anymore. Ive had some bad experiences with other fixit shops, but these guys are super chill. Never had a problem across 3 locations and four years.

I’ve been going to Oil Rig for years. Even when I moved up to SLC, I still wait until I’m in town to get my oil changed, cause I won’t go anywhere else! They are very friendly and always get my car done quickly and do it well. They never try to upsell me and are very honest. The waiting area is very comfortable, they have shows to watch, free drinks, magazines, and very comfy couches. Even going there on a busy Saturday morning they get me in fast and get me out fast! I completely recommend this place and don’t go anywhere else!

I drove all the way from Cottonwood Heights to Orem for some basic services because I really trust and appreciate their work, Oil Rig is the main reason my car drives so nice and idles so smooth.Thanks for having high-end oil products AND excellent service unmatched in the Salt Lake Valley.

Had my brakes done, but they squeak a lot ! I’m thinking because the guys had his home neighbor breathing down his neck cause he wanted to get his vehicle Service as well. I felt he did it fast and didn’t give me any options in what brand to go with for my brakes ! Just upset work the service

I’m really ignorant about anything to do with vehicles but I knew that something was wrong with my brakes because of the noise they were making. I decided to go to Oil Rig because of their location and their website. I was so happy when I got here. It’s super accessible and the customer service was top notch. They were very kind and patient explaining to me what happened and why they were doing what... They showed me my brake pads and explained very well why they needed to be replaced. I will be coming here for any future car needs and I highly recommend to anyone! And the waiting area is very comfortable.

70$ full synthetic oil change. They left the air box open after showing me the air filter. For a couple of days my car sounded like sports car. Until I popped the hood and discovered the cause. No big deal.

Really impressed with the owner. There was an issue with my car that they took care of for me and made sure that I was ok with the solution. When I had concerns the owner called me personally and made sure that I felt totally taken care of. Definitely a shop that you can trust to be honest and take care of you.

Ive had my truck worked on a few times here, and when I need an inspection done they do it on the spot and then I get me registration tags. Im glad there here.

The owner is Aces! They do a great job at an affordable price. My truck started leaking a few weeks after I had an oil change so I took it in, and he said I had a bad gasket and replaced the gasket for free. ❤️ Great customer service!

Great experience. In and out in less than 20 minutes. I thought I wouldnt be able to fit an oil change into my lunch but it left me with additional time. They also check and fill other liquids to make sure you are ready to go! Very pleased to know they also do additional work beyond oil changes as well.

This place is not worth the money 💰 2500 miles later I go under to change my oil and see there work 1 filter was loose and not on tight an was leaking and losing oil 2 my bolt was missing the rubber gapper and stripped out like wow not coming back here.... 2 hours of labor to fix there awful mistake go some where else!!!!

Tip top service!! They do more than what’s listed, so ask them because they will deliver. I went to another mechanic before I came here and these guys didn’t treat me like an idiot just cause I’m a woman, got the problem resolved at a fraction of the cost. I came in today at 3:55pm and was greeted with Tristan coming out to my car in the snow and slush to help grab my keys and ask me what I need help with today. I told Tristan I need an oil change. After taking my car back and looking at it, Tristan came back outside to where I was sitting in my wife’s car talking to let me know that we’re some other problems with my car. At the end I was all set and ready to go at 4:15pm. It was the most fast, friendly, and honest place that I’ve been. They definitely deserve a five star!! Thank you guys.

Had a great experience here today. We desperately needed an oil change and found the services here to be fair priced, quick and efficient. The man helping us was nice and aimed to help us. Like other comments say, the waiting area is nice and has a rustic feel to it. They offer a variety of beverages for customers, which is super appreciated.

Just took my suburban in for emissions and after performing the test, they added on another $10 from their posted fee of $35, saying they had to do a 2 speed check, so that was more. Really? Ive owned this vehicle for over 10 years and have NEVER had any other location charge me more for emissions testing. When I called their other location for pricing, they said emissions testing was $35. Super disappointed and feel cheated. I wont be back.

Fast and very honest/ trustworthy. Talked me out of an oil change I didn’t need quite yet and told me I needed the cheaper transmission service because the other wasn’t good for my make and model of car. What other car place can you say talked you out of spending money?

I have now had 5 or 6 oil changes and brakes done here. Each time theyve been quick, efficient, and trustworthy. Love the comfy couches and beverages. Never been pressured to buy extras or replace an air filter too soon. Will continue to give these guys our business and send my friends.

This place has the best and most caring car and customer service in town of Orem. The employees there are absolutely amazing and especially Jeff whos working has always known whats going on with my car and is quick to find the problems to fix. They will never force you to do anything unnecessary service for your car. Honesty is another thing about the place that gives you trust. I would recommend everyone whos living in the neighborhood to go there for their car fixes and maintenance.

Never go anywhere else for an oil change again! Oil rig knows how to treat their customers. I recently started going to them because of their very reasonably priced services and never plan to go to another Jiffy Lube or any other shop to get my services.Without asking, oil rig found where my engine was leaking oil from and quoted me a price to fix it. Never did I feel pressured into buying anything. They fixed the leak for me in a matter of minutes for a significantly better price than anywhere else I had gone to have it checked. They also adjusted all the air pressure in my tires because Big O had overfilled them.I couldnt be happier with their service! Thank you Oil Rig!P.S... They do free top offs too!

Awesome shop! Honest techs saved me some money after going to the Ford Dealership first. Great service, great prices, and awesome oil. They even saved me some money on my fuel filter. The waiting area is super clean and nice. Usually I hate waiting for my oil, but the waiting area was so nice, I didnt mind - plus they whipped out my oil change super fast. Ive been to their Provo location too - Big Fan of the Oil Rig!

They had the car in and out super fast, much faster than other places I’ve been. Their synthetic blend is cheaper here than regular conventional oil at other places.The waiting area is nice, clean, and comfortable. They offer free drinks (water/soda). Will be coming here for oil changes from now on.

Great, quick and friendly service.I was thoroughly impressed with this mans work. I called ahead and asked when I could get my car and he said immediately. I pull up and someone and came in a couple min before me and the man had held my spot since I called earlier. They have a great price for synthetic blend which was $34.99. He pulled my car in, started right away. He surprised me by taking out my air filter and it does need to be replaced soon but I actually do all the work on my own vehciles but just moved and didnt have the proper equipment for an oil change. So I kindly declined and would do it on my own and he had no problem with it, didnt pressure me into doing it which was nice. He finished in about 10 min and my car was out and ready to roll. I recommend this company for any service you might need. 1st time visit and so far so good.

First time at Oil Rig and I was Astounded by the quick service, positivity, nice couches, and wonderful customer interaction. They offer better and more expensive products only so youre aware that they are available. Not aggressive at trying to upsell at all. They filled my car up with washer fluid, steering fluid at no extra cost. HIGHLY recommend Oil Rig.

Update (2020): I have not been to this location since they changed management and branding, so I cant confirm my review below still holds true.I cant begin to describe how pleased I am with this location. They always try to really take care of you. They never recommend things you dont need, and when they do recommend, they only offer what they themselves would use. I am extremely pleased with the honesty and integrity of this location. So long as I live close enough I will always go to them for anything they can do.

Been here a few times. Its a hidden oil changing gem! The staff is amazing and the waiting area is much more comfortable than anywhere else in town. They even offer a free beverage. Lucky I stumbled on the place, its my go to now.

This is under new ownership from a man whom I had done business with for several years and whom I trusted. One has to beware of oil change chains. The new owner is a fine young man who appears at present to continue the excellent service of this business. I hope it continues.

They fixed my brakes within an hour. The gentleman I spoke with was honest and friendly. They didnt try to lie to me or make me feel like an idiot. They will be my go to place in the future.

The best place to get your emissions tests, oil changes and services. They talked me out of a scheduled tire rotation when I didnt really need one, total straight talk and no unnecessary upsell. Quick service, dont have to wait to get your car in.

Great service, pricing, honest billing. I thought my brake pads needed to be changed but they said they could last for 2 more years. That saved me 100 bucks.

I was in a rush to get my emissions done and make it to the DMV in Provo before they close. This was at 4:30pm. They got it done quick and I made it to the DMV at 4:59pm. They understood my needs gave me and my son some refreshments on our way out. They are very friendly and fast with service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!

These guys are awesome, they did an oil change, front axel brake replacement and drain and fill transmission job on my car. Not only was it all done professionally and timely but he even told me I didnt have to do the transmission drain and fill if I didnt want too (for my peace of mind I did).

Altinator went out on a road trip 750 miles from home and they got our truck right in and back on the road.

This place is awesome, damn good service, really nice waiting room, free soda and water, tv if you wanna kick back and watch while you wait on their comfy couch. I took my 2004 Infiniti there and they worked on it, they are quick, they tell you and show you what they are working on, also straight up about what is important a d what can wait.
