Finally found an honest mechanic. They are always super fast, cheap, and professional. It’s a really good environment in there and you always feel like you’re being taken care of. Would never go anywhere else

We worked with Dave directly and he was great at diagnosing our problem with our car and giving us the best solution moving forward. He didn’t charge us for doing the diagnostics which was kind. The updates that we needed had to be done at the dealer so he just recommended us to take our car to the dealer. As a consumer you sometimes feel helpless when it comes to car troubles. Most of us don’t know how to fix a car and don’t even know how to diagnose a car problem So it’s nice to be able to rely on someone to be honest. I believe Dave and his team are honest.

These gys are great! Had them look at my sons 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. Gave me a good feed back on some of my concerns and correctly diagnosed a water pump problem that was misdiagnosed as a heater cor problem.

Friendly staff. They always address my questions with straight forward answers. Weve had a whole range of services, over the years. Anything from oil changes to needing struts/shocks replaced. Weve always been happy with the services/repairs.

They just fixed my work van. They were quick and efficient. I don’t normally leave 5 star reviews for auto mechanics. But I got my vehicle back in proper working condition and without any issues. You can’t ask for more than that from your mechanic! Highly recommend!

My Lincoln wouldnt start and my close by mechanic said he thought the timing chain had hoped the sprocket. That meant with this engine it was ruined. He suggested to take it to Dave at Westside. I towed it down and replacing the engine would cost $3K plus. I went home and cried in my beer, even though i dont drink. A couple of hours later, Dave called to tell me that it was just my battery not having enough amperage to start. He could have waited a week, steam cleaned the engine and charged me for a new one. Even though his pricing is fair, I dont go to Westside to save money, I go because I know that Dave is a man of integrity and will always be true. Hes an amazing mechanic, too!Mike Karr

Westside is my go-to. Dave and his staff are friendly knowledgeable, and go above and beyond for their customers. Dave has personally scrapped together a jig to hold my old cars door panel shut, lent me tie downs for my fridge, and driven me back to my truck. The dude would probably give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Honest! It was a pleasant surprise when I was charged significantly less than I thought I would. They were nice enough to prepare me for worst case scenario and charge me a very fair price. They seem more interested in residual costumers than one time big money visits. Thank you!

They had my car for two days, when I got it back it wasn’t properly fixed. It wasn’t even safe to drive really. I took it back and they had it another two days and didn’t really communicate with me when they would have it ready. Then they charged me again for the service they should’ve done the first time. I paid almost $800 for something another shop quoted me on $400Go to autobahn across the street.

Dave is just a good dude. Audrey the receptionist is nice and helpful. And because they’re not a big name brand, their prices are always better.

Ive never dealt with a more honest and helpful mechanic. Theyve never tried to up-sell me, and have helped me keep my paid-off, beater-car going so I dont have to take on a car payment. Dave and his crew at Westside Auto Repair are the most dependable and professional auto repair shop in the greater Utah county area. They worked til they fixed the issue and even went out of their way to contact the Dodge dealership when they needed a part. I was very impressed with Dave, he took the extra time to figure out what was wrong with my truck instead of trying to sell me things and parts that I didnt need. As a single mom/woman I appreciate this. There are so many shops that treat you like you are stupid and try to take advantage of you because of your a woman. These guys rock! Ive had many terrible experiences with mechanics in the past, but this was painless, and everyone knew what they were doing. Over the phone I received an accurate quote for both the cost and time of repair, and my car runs like its brand new again. Not planning on going anywhere else from now on.

The guys over at Westside Auto Repair are fantastic! I came in to have a repair done on my transmission that has ~300k miles on it. It wouldnt shift out of 2nd gear. These guys were able to diagnose the problem and offer me a much more affordable solution vs doing a rebuild or salvaging one. They were straight forward, quick, and gave me clear expectations. My truck runs very smooth! No slipping of the gears or delays with shifting. Its in better condition than when i brought it in for sure! Very pleased and will be returning with future maintenance and repairs

Prices are very reasonable, and they were prompt in telling me what the issue was, and how much it would cost, and when it would be done. We also know one of the Mechanics there, Eric. He is very knowledgeable and has been good to our family through various car ills. I would recommend giving Westside a try.

This place is the only place I will ever take my vehicles to. They are honest and prices are great. The owner has great knowledge and experience.

So I took my Lexus RX450 to the dealer For scheduled maintance. They suggested several services that I felt like I didn’t need, I took it to Dave at west side auto and and he told me I only needed rear brakes. My car runs great and he saved me hundreds of dollars.

I like this shop. They dont rush when they explain the issues with my car. They also talk like normal people if its broke they tell me, and more importantly if its not broke they dont pretend it is. Also so far they have been able to quickly work on my car getting me back to driving fast.I think it is best to buy your own parts and have this shop install them.Update I had my starter replaced I was going to do it myself so I looked online and found starters for my car around $80 that is about what I expected to pay for parts . I was very wrong they charged me $234 for a starter. Some people dont trust online parts but I bought a new auto window motor for cheap and its been working for 5+ years.

Good, prompt car repair at a fair price. They did a valve adjustment on our Honda and it made a huge difference.

Dave is a great guy. My husband and I bought a Jeep 3 months ago and have already had 2 major repairs on it. The dealer of course wont do a thing about it. We walked in to Westside, our 4th mechanic, just to get another quote. Of course not purposefully, we were just a few minutes before they closed, but Dave was willing, honest, and helpful. He stayed and looked over some options with us and actually sent us out the door because he would rather not spend our money on a fix that wouldnt really help. I took my truck 04 F150 in to get it looked at for dying and running rough it ended up being timing chains the price they gave me was more then 300 dollars below anywhere else i called i was recommended by multiple people to this shop and im glad i listened there service was also vary fast the other shops said it would take them a couple days to get to but they where able to do it the same day! another great thing is the owner of the shop Dave personal called me to enplane what the issue was and made sure i understood this will be the shop i will be taking my truck too from now on

Terrible work! I took my Tacoma here to have them replace the lower control arm bushings. I recently started to hear a popping sound in the front end, so I crawled under to take a look and come to find out my skid plate had two missing screws and the rest were completely stripped out. I also paid for an alignment but still ended up with a crooked steering wheel. Do not take your vehicle here unless you want more problems.
