I took my X6 for lowering racing springs, upfront pricing no drama, fantastic work time frame promised was spot on. They also let me know other recommended work and was not pushy. I like that so much came back with 2001 beater X5 and they did radiator work and some other stuff. Once again upfront pricing no problems quick professional work no drama. They also diagnosed issues for me and gave me future pricing when I am ready ..once again not pushy..I have more work for these guys..great place.. solid work . We will see if they can work on a Escalade replacing the rear main seal..I will add new review for that.

They are straight forward with whats wrong with my car. They are awesome at making or working with custom parts. Ive seen some neat things theyve worked on.

Best service Ive ever had at a mechanic shop. They fixed my truck after another shop installed my transmission incorrectly. They were very upfront about price and when ever they found a issue they called and talked me through my options. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and knowledgeable shop to work on their cars.

Brought a truck in for a post sale inspection was also having some problems. Mechanic told me $95/hour and that it would take an hour to inspect everything. As you can see in the comments below their rate is actually $85/hour. Other shops do a free inspection so I figured this would quite detailed and asked them to show me what they found. Mechanic finished, told me I had a whole bunch of problems. Didn’t actually show me anything in the truck no pictures, no walkabout. Got the report back and it’s basically just a visual inspection nothing in depth. Took my truck to two other mechanics who both disagreed with the diagnoses. Don’t trust this business. Especially after taking it to the other mechanics who baulked at what I was given. Would not recommend this place.

Dustin at Nip N Tuck is probably the only mechanic i recommend to anyone that asks me about a shop. He can do anything from basic tune ups, to wiring issues, fabrication, engine swaps, brakes...you need it done, Nip N Tuck can do it. The best part about Nip N Tuck is the communication, Dustin has some of the best customer skills around. When i took my motor to get completely rebuild by him, i constantly received emails, texts and calls with updates on how the project was going. Prices are very fair at Nip N Tuck, I have learned the hard way that you do get what you pay for, and I rather pay a fair price for some great work

Extremely knowledgeable with my Evo 9. He did an engine build and a five speed swap. His attention to detail is amazing. Caught multiple things that I myself would have missed. Busy guy but he handles it well.

Took my supercharged BRZ here for a pre-purchase inspection. They warned me of some hose clamps that should be replaced. They were thorough and understood what they were looking at. Great shop to work with.

I discredit the comment about charging more then other shops. Ive only came to this shop because they have always been cheaper then anywhere else quoted and the craftsmanship and knowledge of there work has always been amazing def 5 star shop i will always go here for my work.....

This performance shop is by far the best I have had the privilege to deal with in Utah. Respectful, willing to give out advise, and not a dick like my experience with other performance shops here. He has a lot of stuff in stock, Dustin knows his stuff.
