I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had with any mechanic or repair shop. The air conditioning unit on my car has not worked for several years. Every mechanic that I had taken it to previously said they didnt know how to repair it properly. With as hot as it has been this year, it was urgent that I find somebody that could fix it. I was finally referred by another mechanic to Tyler at the Inspection Station. I took my car to him and by the end of the day the air conditioner was working like it was brand new! He kept me informed of every step that would be necessary to repair the unit, and never did any work before having my approval. He worked very hard to get the repair done in a very timely manner. When it came time to pay for the repair, he honestly could not have been more fair and reasonable. I would trust Tyler with any repair that I needed done on my car and would recommend his services to anyone who is in need of car repair. He is a great mechanic and great to work with!

These guys are awesome! Dan is truly an honest and genuine mechanic. I had a transmission issue with my car, and he was able to fix it same day after making an appointment. I never once felt like they were taking advantage of labor and costs and I highly recommend seeing him with any car troubles or advice.

Me and my sister came in and it seemed fine at first but then the woman at the desk was super short with us and condescending. i don’t think i will be back because i don’t appreciate unprofessional behavior and rude employees.

Incredibly honest. I called to have them inspect a car I was looking into buying. After bringing it back Dan immediately saw that there were major issues and came back and didnt even charge me. He could have easily still charged for the service. Ill be coming back and I hope this review helps them get the customers they deserve.

I’ve never felt swindled and my cars are always in tip-top shape when they leave his care.When my Toyota needed a new clutch I went somewhere else and immediately regretted my decision as I drove away; I could tell something was wrong, and the original mechanic argued that it wasn’t any of his doing, drove it to Dan and he quickly fixed everything that the other mechanic had messed up. You should only be worried if you are getting your car serviced anywhere but at the Inspection Station.I 100% trust, respect, and recommend Dan to everyone.

Dan is honest. He will tell you whats wrong, and he will be upfront about the costs. We had one car that would honestly cost more in repairs then it would be to purchase, and Dan wasnt afraid to tell us it would probably be better for us to buy a new car then pay him to fix it. Hes honest and a great mechanic and I know I can trust him! No idea what we would do without him! If I could give over five stars I would.

My car had died and had to be jumped to get it to the shop. Though it didnt pass emissions (the computer had reset and the car needed driven for a bit first), the gentleman was amazing! He told me he would let me drive my car around, and come re-test for free! Super nice, honest place. Definitely recommend

I went here for a quick safety and emissions about a year ago and now I take my car here for everything. They are trustworthy and fair priced. I sometimes call around for quotes and his are always the lowest. He checked my spark plugs once and later that day one came loose, I went back in and he replaced them with a new set at no charge to me. Im really glad I happened upon this place.

I have been taking my cars to Dan Davidison at the Inspection Station for years and years. I always recommend him to anyone who asks. He is honest and dependable.

Dan is the most honest and hard working mechanic I know. I live in Las Vegas and would drive my car to Orem just to let him work on it, if I could. Come to think of it, maybe I should. I worked at Inspection Station in the early 90s. Dan always expected us to be honest and straight forward with the customers...and if there were any disputes he would tell us to air on the side of the customer. If you live in the Provo-Orem area you should get your car fixed at Inspection Station. There is no smarter and better man to work on your car.

I have been going to The Inspection Station for decades now. Fair prices and I never have to wonder if Im being ripped off. They are always honest.

I have a different view of the Inspection Station. I will return to them to get the state required inspection, which I have paid for, completed but in the future I will not return to this business. I took my car in for inspection and they failed the safety for two reasons1. The High Beam headlights don’t work (this is true)2 On the Written Report (submitted to the Utah Highway Patrol) The Left Front mark and assem, blt broken and the Right Front mark out: I was told by Dan that the car failed safety due to the high beam lights and the front left mark light. Based on the assessment of the company I went to the auto store and purchased the bulbs for the mark lights. I had changed the headlight relay to find out if that was the problem with the high beams while I was checking to see if this fixed the problem I noticed that both the mark lights on the car worked (This is only minutes after having them failed by the company).Also concerning to me is that the company reported to the Utah Highway Patrol that they checked the car in 1 minute 24 seconds. This is not possible there are 22 items that need to be checked for the safety inspection. There are item, like the brake measurements, that you would not be able to check in 1.5 minutes. How am I to know if the information that they give me is true especially if they will lie to the State Government about the inspection.I got suckered into this company by the price. I waited over and hour(was told the await would be 40 minutes). I paid $34.95. I could have gone across the street to jiffy Lube and had no wait time for the price of $50.I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS PLACE THEY LIE
