Great selection of Carhart clothing and other merchandise. Cool little store. The customer service was okay, but felt like if they were watching us a little close as if we were shoplifters. If they gave the same attention to other customers it may not have seemed that way.

Some nice selections they have, shoes, boots, shirts, jackets and some other work apparel. Staff is nice as well, had help when asked for it, was left alone when didnt.

Wow. The service here is unsurpassed. Elaine got us the right boots on try #1. I gave her a LIST of musts for the perfect paid and in under a minute she walked me right to them. We ordered and got them in within one week!Meanwhile Elaine entertained my 4 yr olds request for red shoes as if he was the deciding party. Had him try them on, got his opinion and everything. Highlight of his day, and mine. She had a million things to do and still took that time with him.I will definitely be back because of the friendliness and kindness of the staff. The prices were good, which is nice, but buying local and having that kind of treatment is what Im after! Highly recommend this shop.

Great store first time going there saw some really good stuff but! some employee kept on insisting to help me on finding stuff there and kept following me like if I was going to steal something and I kept on saying “I’m ok thank you” didn’t want to be rude and say I don’t need you following me so just made me feel nervous while I was shopping there only reason why I gave it a 3 star.

Kind of like a smaller Ranch & Home. Work gear of all kinds (hi vis apparel, work boots, bibs, coveralls, hats, belts, vests, jackets, coats, gloves, socks, scrubs, shoes ect) store is neatly organized and has very friendly/ helpful staff. Huge assortment of carhart beanies in lots of color options ( my daughter has a collection and has found hard to find colors at this store), as well as jackets and vests and coats. Good brands of safety shoes/boots and even causal shoes. Yes ladies options too! Comparable prices w other similar stores. Have yet to go there and experience the store crowed or long lines to check out which is a huge plus, since similar stores in the area tend to be very busy especially on the weekends.

Prices were as expected, which was good. The patience of the clerk who help us left a little to be desired. She was friendly and attentive enough, but seemed more concerned about getting back to her reset then helping the Senior Citizen I took in looking for boots. He did find something that would work, but I think he was disappointed she didnt seem to care to much about his actual satisfaction. For $220.00, I think he had hoped to be treated more attentively.

On Saturday my husband and I purposely made a trip to Basin Department store and we HAD every intention of spending a decent amount of money in a local store. Unfortunately, due to the rude service we got, we walked out without spending a dime and we will not be returning!! I will also be very vocal about my experience and I will tell everyone I know NOT to shop there. The store was empty except for 2 or 3 other customers who were at the register. The guy we asked for help had been standing around with his hands in his pockets, not doing anything. We were an inconvenience to him. How dare we ask for some help. His attitude was snotty and rude!! We won’t be back!

I absolutely love the basin it is one of The best shops to go to. Being a fashion guru Im still able to find good key pieces for any season that will always be functional,stylish and hip.

Ditto. Good-Great staff & selection. Its my first stop for baby gifts or kids summer sandles. My 16yo son wears a tall mens shirt, and they have a great selection. I can understand some feeling hovered by staff, but I dont mind. At least I dont have to hike all over when I need help or Im ready to check out. They dont just stand there, but find something to do themselves (stock, clean, tidy up, etc).

Weve always liked going to this store. The staff has always been helpful and nice, and the prices are great. Today, however, was a whole other experience. I tried to exchange a shirt I had bought. The lady asked if it had been washed and I said no, it hadnt. It was wrinkled from being in the sack. She compared it with 4 or 5 other shirts in the store and kept saying it looked like it had been washed. I told her I would know if it had and it hadnt. She finally said she couldnt take it back because it looked like it had been washed and I said, Fine, if youre going to call me a liar, Ill just keep it! I took the shirt from her and left. Sadly, I will never shop there again. I dont appreciate being called a liar.

Every time Ive gone in to Basin, Ive been treated like a shoplifter. Followed and watched the whole time Im shopping. I really like the store but wont shop at Basin because of the atmosphere. I want to be treated like a valued customer and not like a criminal.

If you like paying more for your clothes then thats up to you. But I earn my money and dont like too. Plus they will order you clothes if they dont have your size in stock. Most always a warm welcome as you enter, always someone close by if you need help finding an item. They have always been able to order any item that I need if they dont have it already in stock.

Lovely little mom and pop shop. I got a pair of salt water sandals here for a very good price. Everywhere else sells them for at least $10 more.

Basin is a fine store with excellent prices. It is primarily a clothing and shoe store. It has a down home flavor and working persons store with a western flair. If you want the latest teenage fashions you should look for another store.

If youre looking for comfortable clothes made to last, this is it. Hunters, farmers, and cowboys. My first trip to basin was decades ago. And they are still where I head.
