Made a late run around 7pm and the store was pretty empty. The greeter at the door was very nice and helpful! He asked if I needed help finding anything and I obliged his efforts to assist. Upon direction I quickly found what I was there for and made my way to checkout. There was only one guy at the registers and he was finishing up with customer ahead of me. Took him a hot minute but its all good. I had patience that night. Overall my experience was great and I was out with what I came for. I fully recommend this location although the officer waiting by the door clearly didnt know how to properly wear his mask. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚ Much love to you the reader and be safe out there!

Needed to get security cameras and installation for my home. Went in one day to ask how much it would cost to get them installed by their people. Was handed a brochure with a one pricing, went in another day and was told another pricing that was almost 600 dollars more. Were very rude in trying to describe that and kept telling me β€œI don’t know”. No manager even came out to explain the situation. Very carefree and unprofessional. Don’t think will be going to this or recommending this store to anyone!

My name is Jonathan Ussery. I made an appointment with the Geek Squad to have my Iphone screen fixed a few days ago. My appointment was set for 4:40pm today (10/4/21). I got to the store at 3:40 and asked if I could be seen early. The geek squad employee there mentioned that they could not see me till ten minutes before my appointment (4:30pm). I walked around the store and browsed a bit, even asked another store associate the difference between the ring flood lights on display. I came back to the geek squad desk at 3:30 and the associate saw me after a few minutes and asked how he could help. I again mentioned that I had a 4:40pm appointment and he grabbed another geek squad employee to assist me. This young lady asked me to wait at another counter, which I did, patiently. The original employee saw me again and asked if someone was helping me, to which I replied, β€œnot at the moment”. He left again and the second lady came back and asked me why I was there. I showed her the screen of my phone (which lifts off fully from the device; it’s broken) and stated that I wanted the screen replaced with an apple brand screen ( I stated that this current screen was third party, and it showed). She took the phone and (for some reason) mentioned that they needed to run some routine diagnostics on the phone. Now I know exactly what that means because I wasn’t born yesterday in the tech sector, but I played along anyway. I unlocked the screen for her and let her look up everything she wanted to see. I even signed her consent form. I asked if they had the screens in stock and she said she had to check (that surprised me, because I’d assume that if you accepted an appointment from me several days in advance, it would only be because you had the resources to do so). At this point she left to check. After a few minutes she came back to the desk and stated that they did in fact have the screen, but it would have to be full price (which I initially didn’t have a problem with until this next part), but additionally their repair guy was leaving for the day and, even though I had an appointment, they wouldn’t be able to see me till the next day. I marveled at how useful it would have been to know at 3:40pm that my appointment, which I made days in advance, would not happen at all. If the original employee had mentioned that their repair guy quits at 4:40pm, I could have made other arrangements. If the second employee had mentioned this factoid before she sent me to sit down, I could have saved myself another 20-30 minutes. Why put me through all of that and then tell me β€œwe don’t have time to do our jobs”. This was ridiculous, and if this keeps up, Amazon is gonna eat you guys alive. I don’t like Jeff Bezos, but so far his people are far better at customer service than you are.

There was a really weird instance where my Lynwood pickup was somehow sent to Everett. App and email both said Lynwood. Figuring out things in Lynnwood took us past closing time. When we confirmed that Everett had it and Lynwood did not, the Everett manager hung out and let me pick it up almost 45 minutes past closing. Really appreciated this extra effort.

Sadly it was one of the models not out on display and I didnt want to go through the hassle of buying it, taking it home, and returning it if it didnt feel comfortable. Difficult purchasing and setting up new phones. Downloading from old to new took over night had to return the next day. When I broke my screen I went to Geek Squad who told me I had to pay $200 upfront. He couldnt tell me about transferring my data, ensuring things were saved, nothing, he just wanted $200. I then went to UbreakIfix and was charged$29 through my insurance. Ridiculous!!!

Price Match not so much. I guess Amazon and Microsoft dont count as online competitors. Manager says to me we will only price match within reason? Huh? Thats not a price match. Asked him who determines what is within reason and he said HE does and you will not get the online price match. He then gets notably flustered and increasingly more rude. Called him on his unprofessional attitude and he simply replied I dont care. Walked over and read price match policy and what we wanted to buy clearly qualified. Guy should be fired for talking to customers like that. Its no wonder online shopping is taking over

The lady made me get the geek squad protection when I specifically said no. when you are first presented with the question and the answer is no then leave it at that... at that point on I knew the risk I was taking and did not care for the protection. Worst Mananger in Mobile Service. Manager doesnt has knowledge about how the return and exchange work. All I tried to the return and buy the same product because that product is less than $100 if I get it from Carrier. That said, I still in my 14 days return timeframe window. However, he referred to call helpdesk and helpdesk said same thing what I been told by the phone support person about how the trade-in exchange work. Sale person who insisted me to buy that product now when I went to talked to him he came with different story and also tried to avoid me because I think he doesnt want to get the product return. Think twice before you buy your cell phone products with them. I wont go to that store anymore.

They have a good variety but not very good customer service. One of the persons who was attending the door ( a white, short and chubby woman) ruined my experience. She took charge of my purchase because the cashier was busy. So, she didnt offer me if I wanted insurance for my item, she didnt even gave me the chance to ask for, which they normally do. Plus, I asked her for a bag for my item and she just said they dont have any. But the cashier that was busy had a bunch of them. She didnt even try to find a bag for me. So she made me feel rushed. Today I called best buy before I left my house to see if they had some ink for my printer, before I got there. When I was talking with the person on the phone I asked them if they had the ink and they said yes, then I asked them if they would go check the shelf it was supposed to be on to make sure it was there and they put me on hold. 10 minutes later they returned and said, yes its on the shelf. So I promptly left, to go buy the ink. When I got to the store, the ink was not on the shelf, so I asked a clerk if they had the ink and they replied no, and I dont know who you talked to, but our phone number goes to a Nationwide call center, so I dont know how they would have checked to see if the product was a actually here or not.

Best Buy customer service is horrible. My family Purchased a new LG TV and had it delivered. The delivery was incredibly poor quality. They unboxed the TV and sat it on the ground. Gave us the stands and left. They took the box and the REMOTE with them.I called and had to go round and round with their customer service agents over a 5 hour period. Finally someone was able to help us and they’re bringing us the remote but we have to wait a week!There are no external buttons to control the TV so we can’t even turn it on until we get the remote. Went to geek squad at this location to look at my laptop for a screen replacement cause it was closer to home. Had an employee there lie to me a about their policy saying unless you bought your Asus laptop at best buy, we cannot operate on your laptop. Stating it was a contract with Asus. Well I went to best buy Lynnwood and an associate there told me this location BS me. They dont have this policy and they will look at all laptops except Apple. We purchased our dyson vacuum from best buy 2 years ago with the geek squad protection plan, well a few days ago my vacuum would not turn on. This was devastating news for me as my vacuum has always been my favorite household appliance. Today my husband took it in to hopefully get it fixed 🀞we did not know what to expect and I was very skeptical that the protection plan would not provide a full repair. It did! Went there to inquire about an online order (for pickup in store) that was never filled. Manager was called over because it was stuck in a waiting to be filled status. I was told that there was something wrong with the Pay Pal account and the store did not have payment yet. She refused to honor the online pricing. As a manager she should be educated on how payments work. If an order is in a need to be filled status payment will not take place until the store fulfills the order!
