I went looking for a new gas grill. I found a 5- burner stainless steel Nexgrill for $199. They will assemble and deliver it for free. The staff was very helpful. There was plenty of parking, and it was not crowded at 3 pm on a Friday afternoon.

Not too great. Came in here to buy a drum fan because the website said there were 5 in stock. Associates told me that those are in overhead storage, for which the 2 machines to get up to were both broken. One of them proceeded to get a third employee to get a different fan for me (it was up on a high shelf) while he went back to chatting with the other one. Dude came over and got it for me, grumbled about how the first dude should have just gotten it himself. I dont blame him. Seems like everyone else he works with are lazy. Place is a dump.

This is a great home depot. They have a fantastic selection and the website is always up to date in terms of whats in stock and the aisle/bay where you can find things. I recently went for paint and Bill went above and beyond in customer service. I have experienced no condescension or sexism which can still be a problem in terms of doing home improvement projects as a woman. That alone will keep me coming back here.

Self checkout, now featuring a person scanning your items for you, for some reason. 6 employees running self checkout aisles and anyone on the floor looks at me like Ive got 8 arms when I ask about MDF, Its with the project panels in the lumber department btw. Overall a typical home improvement store experience.

This home Depot was a little on on the small side it did not have a lot of Christmas decorations left which is what I was looking for and also I was looking for organizational things and they did not have a lot of bins they had a lot of covers but no bins to go with it or bins with no covers so you screwed either way but I liked it it was a good it was a good place I ended up with a couple of large bins that I probably wouldnt have bought anyways. Clean store friendly cashiers. Helpful.

The women working in the customer service area refused to put her mask on and when confronted she stated “I can’t” when I asked why she couldn’t her reply was “I have emphysema.” Someone refusing to wear a mask or someone that cannot due to health constraints should not be working in a publicSetting. She also stepped out from behind her plexiglass to talk to me. Completely inconsiderate and this should not be allowed by the others workingAt Home Depot.

Tdlr; This is a store where you can expect to lose a lot of time, not get the products you ordered, be lied to about refunds, and potentially contract a deadly virus.Placed an order of curbside pickup. No one came to help me for 20 minutes, and Home Depot staff passing by said I should just continue waiting in the spot. I eventually called the store itself and was put on hold for another 15 minutes. The person who finally answered was apologetic, but then took 10 minutes to bring out the order, which was incomplete. She stood very close to me without wearing a mask and occasionally spitting as she explained the situation; when I backed away, she stepped closer. She eventually went back in to look for the rest of the order, and after waiting another 10 minutes, I called the store to tell them I needed to leave. The associate came out with the wrong item, and I told them to just forget it and refund that part of the order. They promised to do so right away, but lied about that. Called the Home Depot customer service line, and even they had a difficult time getting a hold of the store. But after 30min of trying, the phone rep was eventually able to connect with the store and supposedly get them to process the refund. I would strongly discourage individuals from doing curbside pickup here, and caution that employees are clearly not complying with the current Massachusetts guidelines for wearing masks or social distancing.

My experiences with this specific Home Depot have been a mixed bag.I’m currently building a big desk for my bedroom/home office, where the “legs” are actually 2 of the Closetmaid cube storage shelves (like the IKEA Kallax shelves). When I looked online for the shelves, I saw that the cheapest price was $40 each with free pickup at Lowe’s (which is in the opposite direction, but equal distance from my house as The Home Depot).My plan was to pre-pay for the shelves, and get the lumber I needed for the top part of the desk cut to size when I went to the store to pick them up. I should have known better. This was probably the 3rd or 4th time I found myself wandering around that same Lowe’s, without an employee in sight, and when you’re lucky enough to find one they are rude, incompetent, unhelpful, ignorant, or all of the above. I couldn’t even check out the items I’d put in my cart because they didn’t have barcodes on them! I wasted a bunch of time there and left only with the shelves I’d ordered online.I’m like whatever, I’ll go to Home Depot instead for the lumber. I noticed right away that the prices seemed more reasonable, and there were way more employees available to help (but a few weren’t exactly willing).I picked out a large piece of melamine, which is like a particle board with a white laminate finish. They cut it for me for free to the dimensions I needed - 7.5ft L x 3ft W - after checking out at the register, it dawned on me. I’d just come from Best Buy with my boyfriend who bought a 55” TV that was sitting in my back seat, and that big piece of lumber wouldn’t fit in the car. I didn’t wanna risk tying it to the roof so I asked the cashier if I could come back the next day with the truck. He assured me my stuff would still be there, and just told me to hang on to my receipt.I couldn’t go get it the next day, but I called customer service to make sure my stuff was still good. They didn’t even ask me my name, or what I’d left there, but again they assured me it was all good. I knew it most likely wasn’t.I go there a day or 2 later with the truck, and sure enough the lumber they’d cut for me was nowhere to be found - “probably scrapped”. Great.They said they’d cut me a new one, but because I have the best luck ever, they were completely out of the large melamine panels. I asked a couple older guys in the lumber department for help, and they kept giving me the runaround. One of them finally agreed to help me choose the proper lumber for my project, after an eye roll.It was a huge, heavy slab of sanded MDF. Cheaper in price than the melamine, but more sturdy, and no white finish. At this point I’m like whatever I’ll friggen paint the thing just get me out of here.Cashier won’t let me do the exchange and sends me to customer service, where I finally got some REAL help from a friendly woman named Kristina. She refunded my original purchase and only charged me half price for the new lumber, thanks to the eye roll, which seemed to annoy her as much as it did me. (Yes! Us gals gotta stick together!)So now my project is almost done! I’m sure I’ll be needing to hit up the depot at one point or another, but at least I know Kristina has my back, and never again will I set foot in Lowe’s!

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE UNTIL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON BIAS AND EMPLOYEES ARE PAID TO EMPATHIZE. !NO PERSONAL PREJUDICE!!! I only can say good things about this store. Everyone is very helpful . They all go beyond and above to help . I bought all my Anderson 400 windows with the help of Steve at the Windows department.. I liked this store when I got to the appliance area I was helped right away. The person who I spoke with was knew what she was talking about. I walked out of the store with a receipt and a delivery time for my new washing machine. It will be delivered for free but there is a 25 dollar fee to take the old one away...All in all this is a good place to buy an appliance

Went in for 1100sq fr of luxury vinyl plank flooring. Dillip assisted me. What a guy! Gave me the 5star experience.He found me the flooring, put it thru bid room, didn’t get anywhere with bidroom, so he made sure I still got a % off. His shift was ending, but he still managed to find 2 loaders to bring down the pallets, and set one pallet aside for tomorrow’s pickup. He made my day.

This store needs to be investigated by the state health department. For one they not counting customers they just letting everyone in during this pandemic knowing you can’t have more then 10 or more ppl at a time in small store. So to me there is no limits of people that can shop during this pandemic so I will not be shopping there I take this pandemic serious, I understand we are there to shop and get what we need but follow proper state guidelines, count how many customer can go in at a time have a employee counting customers outside and have them form a line outside

I went in to buy wood pellets for a grill. They were there in several different varieties but I had to go through at least a half dozen bags to find one that was not cut open. The checkout and staff were careful to social distance and be covid aware.

Ordered an AC online, come into store to pickup, and they give me a different AC with no warning thats the same price. Yes, the store said they had the AC in stock. Yes I got a confirmation email that said they filled my order with that product. No they didnt email me that they changed the product with a different product. Worst of all, the AC they gave me was much larger and wouldnt fit in my window.I understand with everything going on product is tight, but giving me no warning that the product changed or might change ended up wasting a lot of my time.

Love Home Depot always super helpful and friendly staff. Very accommodating whether you are renting a truck or doing over a kitchen. Always great prices, even a huge selection of plants and trees. Recently did a kitchen design with Reba. Many people were so negative on going to a box store, however, with the limited hours the kitchen stores had, I had to try it out. Reba spent soooo much time with me to get the design I wanted done right. They have a nice selection of decent quality cabinets. Reba really went above and beyond. I am happy with the final design. She worked in all my must haves. Kept the price within reason of the value of home. Really couldnt be happier. Even after the purchase was done Reba has still made herself available to me via text even on her day off. YUP even with being a box store. More personable that a specialized kitchen only store, that is never open on your schedule.

I will not be going back to this store during this pandemic. They let people scan their products at the self checkout without sanitising the scanner between uses. They dont wipe the cart handles between uses. There doesnt seem to be any limit on the amount of shoppers. They really dont seem to care about customer safety.

Be careful, I went into the store the other day and I went to the register and the girl was leaning against the register, she looked at me and said you can use the self pay. I started to scan items, of which I had 6, I heard 6 beeps as I was scanning the items, I paid and started to leave, walking past the girl who was still leaning against the register, doing nothing. I get to the door and a girl is there to check my receipt and one of the items that I had did not scan correctly. A loss prevention guy comes over and they bring me to a register and I paid for the item that did not scan correctly, they guy had me sign something and he also took a picture of me. All of this because their scanner did not work correctly. Funnny thing is I rarely, if ever, go to home depot as their cust service is and has been awfull for many years, however I had to go to Target and HD is right there.I asked for the store manager and he said he will not be coming, if this is how they treat a customer when their equipment fails to scan then forget them. I generally try to shop at the lumber yards as they better service customers, never again.

Wow, these people were rude and unhelpful. Three stars because we got a discount on a grill missing a wheel, but when we asked for the prices of the grills (because a lot of them were missing price tags), we weren’t helped very much. I also asked about potting soil being safe for cats and all I got was a look and “it’s organic so......”. Real helpful! Anyway the store is pretty clean and there are a few more helpful employees than the others

Multiple issues with customer service. I have been trying to get a quote done ... I have had to call more than 10 times with lengthy wait times, I have spoken to 3 people. Each time I have had to start the quote process over again. Each time they were incorrect. When I have called again to fix the issue I have to start over and wait times are over 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. The 3rd woman I spoke to was at least helpful but the quote was still incorrect. I really wish I had not purchased my product at HD so that I could use a different installer. Absolutely fed up with HD.

I have tried 3 times to get with a specialist to get a quote on my yard for a fence. Went in store - they told me to schedule an appointment with a specialist. They call me 2 days later, book an appointment - no one ever shows up for the time we set. Call them back to reschedule - leave a note with the manager who assures me he will have someone call me back - never heard from them again. I call back a third time and the guy told me that I would be able to come into the store and get a quote that way. They clearly have no idea what they are doing.

Oh, okay. I miss Somerville Lumber. And the truly expert old guys who used to work there, who could tell me everything I needed to know about restoring my 1920s Craftsman style bungalow. You wont find that here, or anywhere. Its not their fault, and they try to be helpful. I found what I needed, and the employees were universally helpful and polite. I think thats as good as it gets anymore.

The inventory online of in-store merchandise is way off, like completely wrong. After waiting a half hour for an employee to get a ladder to get something off of a shelf, that may have been what I was looking for- ( number on box was right, but written on as something else ) I had to leave. I understand if people dont want to work, but if thats the case stay home. This place just gets worse every time I go there. What a waste of time for anyone whos trying to get anything done.
