It is my third time visiting here because of a tire puncture. Very quick service as I always got my car back the next day for tire replacements. They are also very honest about the work - when the puncture does not require tire replacement, they plugged the hole for me. Friendly staff too.

Convenient and pleasant. Took 26 hours to get 2 front tires and an alignment. Person at the counter had a good attitude. Donut spare was tossed in the trunk and not put back into place under the liner. Overall, ok service with room for improveent.

I am new to the Federal Hill area, but home grown Baltimore! I have been to plenty of auto shops and usually drop my car off for oil changes so the crew can work at their leisure. I typically get my cars back closer to close or the after noon hours.I drop my car off at 0900 and expected to get my car back in the time I mentioned above. I get home in maybe 7minutes, get cozy in my bed, closed my eyes for maaaybe 30minutes to an hour and my phone rings. Its Goodyear calling.My car was ready.To my surprise I expressed my gratitude but had to ask if I needed to pick my car up right away. The young man heard my sleepy tone, chuckled and stated, long as you grab it before 5pm. I slept for a few more hours went to pick up my car and was highly pleased for the speedy service!Thanks guys!

At most recent visit to Goodyear, I dropped my car off with a request for a specific service and a general checkup/inspection. Before I was given a summary or a quote, someone called me to upcharge me on an alignment package. The next day, I called to ask about my quote, and they had already started doing the work without giving a quote, giving me a full summary from any general check/inspection, or getting approval to do the work. At around 4:45 that day, they called to tell me my car was ready (they close at 5). At around 6 pm, I got a text from the personal phone of one of the employees asking about my experience, which seemed pretty weird. Then when I got my invoice, there was a note stating that they advised me I needed a new tire but I declined, even though they never advised me of this or reached out to me with the results of the inspection I requested.

Botched my state safety inspection (entered the wrong VIN) causing me to waste a trip to the MVA. Couldnt correct it because the employee was on vacation. Got a refund and went somewhere else. Incredible waste of time. Do not go here.

Very convenient location in the South Baltimore/Locust Point area (walkable from many neighborhoods for easy drop-off and pickup). Friendly, responsive, and helpful on the phone and its always easy to schedule a last-minute appointment. Quick service and very communicative. Prices seem a little high sometimes, but theyre great for getting an assessment before deciding on a service provider. Have brought cars in for oil changes and a tire leak; will definitely be back in the future!

Goodyear replaced all 4 of my tires in February. I got a flat last week so I took it back to them. They told me they couldnt repair it and I needed a new tire. Fast forward 10 days and I get another flat tire. They repaired the flat tire I had and charged me for a new tire and now it is flat again but they say they cant do anything about it. This place is a scam.

Wow! Stayed open on a Sunday to help. We rolled in with a flat tire and Todd was super helpful- looking at the problem and ordering a new tire so it would be there the next day even though it got to be an hour past closing time. Did I say wow? Very professional and pleasant.

Absolutely wouldnt recommend at least for a tire repair... So they do offer free fix if the tire is repairable and decided I would give it a try. Got a call from them an hour later that the the tire couldnt be repaired and I had to buy a new one. I didnt trust them and took it to another shop to confirm it wasnt repairable. The other shop fixed it for $10 in under 3 minutes. No such thing as Free anything but scamming people aint cool.

I brought my car in on Monday to check the tire pressure since the light kept coming on after I put air in. Also asked them to look at my brakes. They told me I only needed air but I needed $800 in brakes. I said no thanks. Fast forward a few hours and the light comes back on. I have to travel for work but since goodyear the tire “experts” said it was fine I went. 50 miles from home my front wheel is completely flat. I change it to the spare and see my rotars that were supposedly “bad” were completely fine and there was an obvious screw in my tire! Got a local shop to patch it. But Goodyear made sure to charge me $56 for worthless advice and making the tire warranty I purchased from them useless! Never again. Goodyear “Tire” Locust point is a shame and a hustle. Never again. Go to firestone or mr tire if you have to do a chain.

I made an appointment online for Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Once I arrived I advised I was there for an oil change. The guy behind the counter asks if I had an appointment while laughing ( I assume no appointment no service)🤷🏾‍♂️ I said yes & gave him my last name. He looked it up & proceeds to tell me how they attempted to reach me by email to inform me that they didnt have a 10am. I said thanks & left. I wasnt offered any apology for time wasted or even to schedule another time. If 10am was not an available time I should not have been able to select it earlier times were grayed out so the 10 slot should have been grayed out as well. I got home and noticed, Yes they did send an email but it wasnt identifiable to a new potential customer from Goodyear.

Finding a trustworthy mechanic isnt always easy but the folks at this specific Goodyear run a very great shop. I would highly recommend their service and especially their loyalty. Throughout the 4 years I lived in Baltimore I knew that I could drop my car off and the lead mechanic Jason and his crew were going to take care of my ailing 98 Subaru Outback. It felt like over time as I continued to come back, the mechanics were more easily and effectively able to understand the needs of my vehicle. Which was usually, to fix the problem and keep it running without breaking the bank.Though there were a few hiccups here and there in regards to service, almost always I was given a straight answer over the phone about the costs and what else may be needed to fix the problems. When there was an occasional error made, the shop made the situation right but fixing their mistakes free of charge. On one instance, I was told I would need a whole new brake package for my two front wheels and when I declined their service due to the high cost (and opted to do it myself) they even offer specific things to make note of when redoing the brakes.I sincerely appreciate the good care Jason took of my car and the other mechanics who worked on it as well as the customer service and help from the store manager and staff. Thank you for helping keep my car running well!

I can tell you after several years of servicing our vehicles - I trust these guys. Ive had shocks brake job and regular oil changes as well as charging my A/C up and their prices are competitive and they guarantee their work. Service manager is very knowledgeable and attempts to work around my schedule whenever I need something done. He even told me how I could get rebates on tires.

Would give zero if I could. Scheduled a wheel balance and alignment on my vehicle. Made the appointment online, and received confirmation. When I arrived, they had no knowledge of my appointment, and told me that they could not perform the alignment because there was nobody there that could perform it. They performed the wheel balancing, and I received my car back 2 hours later worse than when it started. I rescheduled the appointment for my alignment, and when I arrived they again informed that they had no knowledge of the appointment, and there where no mechanics on site. Filing a complaint with corporate as well. Overpriced as well. Do not take your car here!!!!

Got a flat within 3 days of moving to Baltimore. Ordered the tire that night on Goodyears website (a Monday night). Scheduled appointment to have it installed 7am Friday morning. Received an email confirmation from Goodyear that everything was all set.Dropped off my Jeep at 7:10am Friday morning, thinking that would be more than enough time to change 1 tire and get to work (even early). Person at the desk said the associate was running late and wouldnt be in until 8:30am. Had to Uber to work.Had to call the place back at 2pm that Friday to even see what was going on. Person on the phone said the tire hadnt come in yet, but they were working on it.Poor customer service, horrible communication both by the company and this local shop.

I had received my car back from two failed services to fix my car from a Good Year location that I gambled upon, due to a multitude of bad yelp reviews I thought were dismissive to my issue with my engine light. And as I first requested to have my car looked at, they had charged me $100 for and had told me later that I needed a full synthetic oil change for $60. My total came out to $160 plus taxes. Three days later, I experience my engine light coming on AGAIN. Seeing as I paid a big chunk of change, for a college student/artist, to a corporate auto service company; I figured theyd definitely go back in at the problem for no charge and really resolve it this time. I was wrong, and those yelp reviews made sense now. It was the second service that had really set me off with their charge of $250 plus tax for an option to try something as the male associate had said to me over the phone. It was then a general manager, by the name of, Chris I had spoken to when my service was finished, over the phone, and I asked to make sure, so my car for sure is ok now? It doesnt skip while driving anymore? The engine light is definitely off? She assured me it was a success and there were absolutely no problems anymore at all. I had received my car this morning to behold my car skipping at every pedal I put towards my drive to work. Its uncomfortable to be treated like this and I feel disrespected by a company I thought I could trust. I had then taken it to a dealership of my make and model to then behold that there was an obvious oil leak that couldnt have been missed. This company and location is negligent and greedy. As I took it up with the corporation to come to compromise to even help fix the damages they couldve prevented, my claim was denied as I was told that I brought it in that way. Well, yes, I did bring my car to an auto service company, thanks good year! Spare yourselves, people. this should get a negative star review.

Took my 1999 truck in to get an oil change and brakes changed. I went in saying Look I know this truck is old. There are probably a lot of things that are pretty old on it, all I want is an oil change and brakes replaced. After they did an oil change, they quoted me at a little over $1000 to fix what they felt needed to be done...? My truck isnt even worth that. The magical fan belt they wanted to put on my truck was $80. The one I have on there Id gotten for $25. Screw that! To top it off, after changing my oil they left the lights on and my battery was shot! Had a scare for about 15 minutes while the tech was trying to charge up the battery and didnt seem to know exactly how to use the charging equipment. Never going there again.

Customer service is terrible. Work on the cars is questionable. Tried to get an explanation of the service and only got attitude and the threat of breaking off a lug-nut. Gene acted like he didn’t know I asked for the manager (later spotted drinking something in his car instead of helping a customer) and gave me attitude. Came out to find my tire not on completely and had to tighten it myself as Gene walked by. Save yourself time and money. Go somewhere else. Had it evaluated elsewhere and they were able to complete the work that Goodyear couldn’t do because of their lies.They did not reach out at all like they said. Waited in the area for over 2 hours. Then blamed me for not getting ahold of them.Avoid this place. It’s not worth it all.

Please dont go here. You make an appointment online and they cant find it. You get there after you call to confirm you can get in and out, show up at that time and they tell you youre 3 rd in line. Then forget to place the actual order for the tires you agreed to purchase. This is my 1st ever review, and I would only take this time to share if I seriously thought this business was absolutely avoidable. The Rude girl working there should be fired or re-trained to provide at least a McDonalds quality level of customer service.

I had a really good experience here today and was listening in on the way the front desk person handled different scenarios with other customers, and was satisfied with what I heard from those interactions as well. I made an appointment online and was quickly emailed a request to call them. I called them and was told that the online appointment booker offered me a time that wasnt actually available, so I was offered another similar and reasonable time. The location is inside the Southside Marketplace, and you will need to park in the rows of cars in front of the main entrance of the Goodyear (NOT THE STARBUCKS PARKING LOT). I was confused and ended up having to move my car to the other parking lot, which wasnt a huge deal but does make it a little more difficult to navigate. Im pretty happy that I was able to go somewhere very close to home and still within the city, though, so Im okay that parking is tight. It helps to have your license plate number and wheel lock key if you are getting brake/tire service done. My service was free because it was just a tire rotation and they have a new customer discount, so I left a very happy customer!

Ive gone here out of convenience, but after this last time I think Ill go elsewhere. I scheduled an oil change online and took off from work to get this done- I arrived and they had no record of it in the system, and could not fit me in. I went ahead and rescheduled for a weekend afternoon- I dropped it off early and told them Id be back first thing the next morning (Sunday, they open 9am) to pick up my car. They said they would call me regardless when ready. 11:15am the next morning, I have not heard from them. I call to inquire, and the employee on the phone cannot find record of my cars service ticket, but she said shed look into it and call me right back. An hour later, I arrive in person since I had still not heard back- and they informed me the car was just going up to be serviced and would be ready in 30 minutes, with no explanation as to why it still wasnt ready when I had scheduled an appointment for the day before; no apologies either. When I finally get my car back, shortly after driving the tire pressure light goes on, which happened the last time I had it serviced here. Needless to say, I will be finding another garage.

Went to Goodyear on Fort Ave for a flat tire repair (hoping they could repair my flat tire instead of replacing it). When I went in, they not only told me that they could not repair the tire, claimed that since I had a nail in the a another tire, I needed at minimum 2 new tires but that they recommended replacing all 4. They said that if I didnt replace all 4, I could damage other mechanical components of the car. The car is only 2 years old with less than 20k miles - theres no WAY I needed to replace all 4 tires! I didnt have enough car knowledge to dispute their claim that it could damage the car... but something about their immediate recommendation to buy an entire set of new tires was fishy. Instead, I drove the car to Gerrys Tires on Central Ave. Not only was Gerrys able to fix BOTH tires for $60, but when I told Pat what Goodyear had said, he immediately knew which location I was talking about and the name of the woman I dealt with there. This place is CLEARLY filled with crooks if another tire service in town knows about it. DO NOT take your car here unless you are interested in being completely ripped off!!!

Had to say that I read the reviews the night that my car was towed by AAA and worried that I was going to be taken to the cleaners. My car broke down on a Friday night, I was from out of state, and a female alone in Locust Point. Well, contrary to the reviews, I received not only fast and outstanding service, but both Jason and Jerry were so over the top helpful and considerate with my predicament. They explained everything that they were doing and gave me such terrific service. In the end the car had to be towed and serviced by Honda and once again they found a dealer that was open and could take care of my car... and made arrangements for me to be taken care of once I left GoodYear. I honestly can not tell you what a terrific and professional crew that was on hand to help me out. They are a great asset to Locust Point.

Got a simple oil change and noticed a rattling under my car soon after. After putting the car on a lift it was discovered they hadnt properly secured the oil cover and it was barely hanging on. The bolts were loose and I could turn them by hand. They also tried to sell me brakes for $800, a terrible deal.

Unorganized and refuses to be accountable.First. They were suppose to call me when my tire came in. I called at 815, tire had been sitting there.I had a 9 am appointment and still needed to take my child to camp and I live 30 mins away.Arrived, I was charged full price. Even though I confirmed my warranty the day before. I then had to wait for that to be corrected.Departing, I double check that my tires were rotated. The manager says no.Im like that was a part of the freaking appointment. I did all of this yesterday over the phone!One hour later I am stilling and waiting for them to do something that was suppose to be completed initally.

STAY AWAY. If you read nothing else from this review, dont go here. This location should shut down for being crooks. I came here for a standard oil change and state safety inspection. I ignored the terrible reviews thinking that these were just extreme cases of dissatisfaction. The mechanic called me to tell me that he couldnt even inspect my car without performing $1,000 worth of repairs. The mechanic said he would call back once he determined whether he had the parts. I couldnt imagine that my car was in such poor condition and now understood the previous reviewers experiences- they rip you off by making something wrong out of nothing. I didnt wait for the mechanic to call me back and went to pick up my car. I got there and the mechanic says he thought I gave him clearance to start working on my car. I couldnt believe this disgusting liar. He put everything back and I took my car to a reputable dealer where I only had to replace my front break pads for next to nothing when compared to what Goodyear quoted. Oh, and one glaring problem goodyear said was that there was a nail in my tire. Nope, no nail. Despicable.

They found a slew of imaginary problems during the state inspection. One of the few real ones (a bad tail light) they didnt fix the first time around and I had to go back a second time. Also, after going in a handful of times, I have yet to see a single employee smile.

I have been going to this Good Year since 2008 and as the years have gone by, the mysterious upsale has become more and more prevalent. But this time I had to write...I had an oil change done that actually would have been covered by my delaership, but for time, I chose to do it at GY. Fort Ave. The rotated my tires without telling me which created a wobble in my front suspension. Talked to them about it on the phone and they said sure well fix it...My oil change came to 83 bucks, apparently the synthetic oil comes with a free tire rotation, had I known this I would have told them NOT to rotate the tires because the tires are new and were just balanced. Instead they charged me another 30 bucks to balance the tire.Ive given up on this garage, if you want someone to tell you the truth go to Federal Hill Motors.

Worst experience ever. I got an estimate of three day, but just picked up my car on day8!! Along the way there was a disturbing lack of communication, as both the technician and the store manager made promises to call me but never did. Each day that they attempted a repair and failed at it, they offered nothing but well retry again and then they failed again. Spojke with GY Corporate customer service and the District Manager, both of whom were good at telling me what they CANNOT do, but not what they can do to assist with the horrible customer service. Please for your own sake, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

I called to get 1 tire put on my car... 1 was told if I dropped if out at 1 I could pick it up at 6:30.. women was terribly rude on the phone. Asked if i could bring my tire in now - I am working and when I didnt really understand what she was asking was very abrupt and rude. Im sitting in here now. I took my 2011 chevy HHR for a head light change. I called ahead asking how long it would take they told me 45 mins. I got here 7 mins later they then said it would take an hour and a half. I went to starbucks and chipotle came back an hour and a half later my car had not been touched.
