Drove 20 minutes to get to the shop by 7:45am since I was told there are no appointments. The store was supposed to open at 8am. I waited until 8:45am and still no one was here! I and 2 others stood in the cold. The unprofessionalism shows and this is the first and last time I’ll travel to this location. Wish I read the reviews before wasting my time.

I had to change my rating from a 5 to a 1.I used to always bring my cars here for tires, and other services, but not anymore. During my last and final visit to this location, The manager and one of his mechanics gave me the run around about my car. Instead of being honest, and saying that they couldnt fix it, they kept charging me for their trial and error to find the issue. It got so expensive, I had to take out care credit loan to pay for my car.Finally, the manager told me to go to Mr. Tire on Howard Street, because that is where they send their customers with cars like mine. The manager then told me to bring him the bill from Mr. Tire, and he would set me straight. When I returned, the manager did not keep his word. He made excuses, talked around the subject, and said that he would call me. Im still waiting on his call...

Looks like its on its way out of business...Went there yesterday for a headlight cleaning with a coupon from Groupon...This lady MORGAN began to tell me all they do is wipe the headlight and I wont be happy with the Groupon service from them and to get my money back from Groupon.... What this lady was very unprofessional... BUT CALLED THE ONE ON LIBERTY RD AND WAS TOLD SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT I see why this place looks as it do......if I could give them no stars I would

They need a whole new management team at this location. I believe if they had a better management team the workers would work. Its completely unprofessional at this location. They want you wearing your mask and none of the employees wear their mask. I walked inside it smelled like smoke. Im guessing someone was smoking cigarettes because thats what it smelt like. This location used to be good. Not anymore. Its horrible. The customer service is completely trash. I will say everything was fixed correctly on my car. Sometimes it can be a bit pricey. The customer service is what cause me not to return. Its just a bit to much of no professionalism in the work place for me.

These guys are the best. The one thing I look for in a mechanic is one that will not rip you off. Car repairs are not cheap so finding someone that will give it to you straight and not add extra unnecessary repairs is key. Precision only does the work it needs to do and will work with you if you have budgetary concerns. They are super busy so its hard to get in sometimes. But when you are doing great work, it doesnt matter!

Seems like they do good work but they need to be honest on the groupons theres no reservations first come first serve. I was told to come early so I could wait I came early and they said it would still be done in the afternoon because of cars from the day before. I left. I need a place I cant make an appointment show up get work done and leave

I had a groupon and yes I mentioned I had it at the end of job reason being the groupon doesnt specify how long,and what type of restoration would be done. It just says restoration for one car no other details in small writings so it shouldnt have made a difference I asked for what the groupon said. Then you act like you did me a favor by doing the other headlight restoration it was nothing wrong with that one and the time you spent should have just been on the one I wanted!. And it still its clear so that means you didnt do a good job to pay more because what i had a groupon that didnt state any specific restoration and should have covered allof job and he did half of job..top of headlight still has the cloudy look

We called them the day before going there for an oil change to ask if we needed to make an appointment due to the current crisis, they simply said It is first come, first serve and nothing else. When we arrived there the next day late morning, not only were we standing in their waiting room for more than 20 minutes with no one attending to us, when someone finally came in they told us that they stop taking customers by 9 am and that they are first come first serve, no explanation whatsoever. We were inside their lobby with all the cars keys out in the open. Anyone can literally just walk in wearing a mask and grab a key and drive off with any car in their lot. This is by far the worst shop Ive ever been to, far worst than jiffy lube. Wasted travel time, wasted wait time, wasted everything. Place needs new management. Please dont bring your car here, for your cars safety.

If I could give it a 0, I would. C u next Tuesday, Joe. Completely rude and unhelpful. Trust me, youre better off going somewhere else. Dont go to this location. They dont deserve your business.For context, my man Joe tried to overcharge me and add things in my invoice I did not want done/need. First time I went there he said he cant take my car in because they were already too busy (I needed an oil change) but a girl comes in after me and he has no problem taking her car in. He tells me to call ahead to book appointment. Next time when I call he says they dont do appointments its first come first serve.

He gave me time to consider all of my options. I really feel as if he seamlessly went above and beyond to make sure that I had all assistance and information I needed. I am truly appreciative! This place needs guidance. On several different occasions I drove 28 minutes to get there only for them to tell me there’s a wait of over 3 hours. Even before I took the trip I always called and they told me the same exact thing all the time. “First come first serve” be mindful that I attempted to make several different appointments but they don’t do those.... thank God groupon is more professional than them and gave me my money back

I have scheduled an appointment earlier but have to wait for a vehicle which was in middle of service for around 30 mins., However I have just done my car 4wheel alignment and the technician and manager were very friendly and explained me the issue and fixed it quick. This is my first experience with non-dealership auto service stations in USA and it was great. Now im thinking about going here for all my future service to save some bucks.

Both guys at the front are very unprofessional one was walking around cussing loudly on the phone with a cigarette in his mouth (indoor) the other big guy who is supposed to take care of paperwork has nasty attitude, talking like he was dragged to work.On top of that both had no masks on.Besides that job was done on time .

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE I WOULD! I bought the Groupon for the 4 wheel alignment. First off you have to line up outside of the shop at 7:50a because after 4 people, they tell you they can’t see you today. Drop off only so you can’t even wait for it. I specifically told the huge guy behind the counter (only way to describe him) to call me if you could not perform the alignment or if there was a problem. He didn’t and there was a problem!! I had to call to check to see if my car was done. On the phone on the way back to get my car, he tells me it’s done and the mechanic did the best he could do. I said what does that mean? He told since I have different brand name tires that he could only do so much. He was so unprofessional! When I got to the store HE LIED AND SAID HE TOLD ME ABOUT MY TIRES BEFORE BC HIS MANAGER WAS RIGHT THERE! I was heated and he argued back with me. He gave me a print out of my tire alignment. The paper said I passed the inspection but when the mechanic that inspected my car drove it.. He told me it was exactly the same way it was when I bought it to them. So he lied on my paper! They didn’t even touch my car or give me an alignment! He didn’t charge me bc he was caught in front of everybody. This was for a state inspection. I failed and now I’m at another place getting another alignment done bc the first one was never performed. They don’t get busy the way the day they do and they do piss poor quality work.. if they even fix what you came for. NEVER GO HERE!!!

Update:After writing my first review, DARRYL the area rep in charge responded to my review by offering to address my concern and to speak to you about your experience. I sent DARRYL my first email on Sept 14 and a follow up on Sept 21 and yet I have not received even a courtesy. This place continues to be not professional and of poor quality. It is obvious that Precision Tune Auto Care replies to negative reviews by responding.Original Review:After leaving the car at the shop for a week then another two weeks and spending over $700 the car was in worst condition than when we dropped it off. The initial diagnose was wrong yet it cost us $610 then after a second diagnose we paid another $100 plus we had to tow the car from the street because it stopped working after we took it out of the shop for another $130 which they promised to pay off but they didnt. Absolute rip-off. We ended up donating the car.

I have dropped my car off on a Monday because they told me that what I needed done was going to get done by the next day. Today is Wednesday going on Thursday and I do not have my car yet. I have been lied too by multiple people, told different times and I was never called back once told that I was going to get a call back. From randy to others they have really gave me a poor experience. I have been very patient with them and understanding and they just lied and just left me wondering each time. It has been four days now I have came out of my own pocket to get to work because I was lied too about times and date. Now it’s Thursday 3 days later and I have no car yet I was not called back and now the store has closed once again.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had a horrible experience when visiting this location. I ordered a Groupon for a four wheel alignment and when I called to make an appointment, the gentleman informed me that there were no appointments and that they opened at 8am and I would be serviced on a first come first serve basis. When I came at about 11am earlier in the week, I was told that I could not be fit in that day and to come another time. At the end of the week, when I pulled up at 8am, there were already 4 people in line with only two mechanics on duty. I sat in the waiting area for FOUR HOURS just for the mechanic to tell me that he could not perform the service on my car because I needed other parts. I feel as though my time was wasted and I was not valued as a customer. Unless you have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do the day of, I would not recommend this establishment.

The mechanic there that work on your car is very up to date with with codes and what not to fix your vehicle. Just a little secret they’re Police friendly they love officers of all kinds!!! I bought a Groupon a week ago I called twice to ask when a good time for me to come was. I was told 8-8:30. I come at 8:15 and four people is in front me. When it get to me the man tells me it’s impossible for the shop to get it done today with only one mechanic. Are you serious . You couldn’t tell me that over the phone . Now I gotta go to a real shop and actually pay full price for a alignment .Like I called a week ahead and you tell me I can’t get it done today . . That’s not cool. He told me come back next week but I got things to do next week . This whole week I was prepping my car for my alignment but I was let down today .

Was looking to get a very rough estimate on a full suspension replacement, brake pads and rotors, transmission flush, oil change, headlight replacement, plus whatever else they could identify and set up a time to bring it in. Guy on the phone wouldnt let me get a single sentence out before demanding I bring it in for an inspection. He said it wasnt fair to ask them how much the services might cost me. Really? you cant look up the cost of parts for my car and give an estimate on labor? Sorry, but if Im going to spend thousands of dollars at your shop, the least you could do is have a 5 minute conversation with me.

I was at this store at 7.30 am as soon as they open the store I was on 3rd in line & 1st for Alignment, I wait almost 2 1/2 hour no cars coming and leaving the Alignent bay, One Caucasian male make very unprofessional remarks & arguing with me and giving me a explanation about time frame & then he disrespect me because I was using a Groupon, He treat me to kicked out of his shop ! I wonder if they backed up with car since yesterday, why they waste my 2. 1/2 hours ! This was my second time using Precision Tune York Rd for an oil change. The first time was for my last oil change after purchasing a Groupon voucher. After that visit I recieved a coupon from them for an oil change for $16.90 for another oil change. My Nissan Pathfinder had been leaking oil recently and I had been putting in a quart at a time to keep it from going dry. Before looking at the truck they looked at their notes from my prior visit and said you need an oil cooler seal or your truck will leak oil. They told me about the collar on my last visit but I ignored it. They let me know how much it would be as I could not get an oil change without it and the price was fair so I agreed. I waited for less than the quoted time and recieved my truck feeling like brand new. I have had great experiences with the desk person as well as the mechanics/service techs and would highly recommend them for oil changes.

Went in to get an oils change and get a new tire pressure sensor installed.Got there 10 minutes before the manager even opened the place, was the first one there and my car got put off until the very end, so I was there all morning into the afternoon. They did the oil change which seemed fine, but they didn’t actually sync the OEM sensor to my car’s computer, not did they know how. I drive away and get on roads where the speed limit is 45 and my car starts shaking all in the tire that they had installed the new sensor on, I stop and check the tire and the mechanic had decided that my tire “needed rebalanced” (it was perfectly fine in that regard before I got there) and there was a shiny, new weight that I didn’t ask for, nor was I informed about it. I went back and made them fix the balance, but the OEM sensor is till not synced up.Don’t go to this location! They’re disorganized and take all damn day to do anything and never actually get the task done. I would rate them lower than one star if it were possible.And I’m still going to have to pay someone else to get the sensor synced to my car.

I dont usually write reviews but my experience is worth commenting on: I took my car there to use a Groupon for Alignment and Wipers. Katie, the receptionist was excellent! Her demeanor and customer service were exceptional not just to me, but also to every other customer. She brightened the day for everyone with her smile and helping in whatever way possible, including calling her District Manager a few times to get the best answers when not sure how to handle certain situations, to meet each customers need.

This place has sent me on a rollercoaster. I had to go back about 6 times for the same issue. My breaks were changed 3 times. First time it was blamed on how old the mechanic was and thats why they werent fixed properly. Then, it was blamed on the manufacturer. Then it was blamed on me but everytime I went back the same week the breaks were applied. Still to this day my breaks are still squeaking and they say its nothing else they can do for my car. Customer service, yeah right. This is a joke.

My rear wheel was making some loud noises and they were the only place that could fit me in. I am a volunteer firefighter so I was also scheduled to drive the medic that night. They were able to work with me and arranged a way I could pick up my car if we got a call, which we did. I was very pleased they were willing to work with me so I didnt have to leave my car overnight. I would return to this location in the future.

Be careful with the sales person there. They will sell you all type of services that you dont need for your car. I took my girlfriends car there and they looked at the brakes. Brakes were the only thing that needed to get changed and they sold her in getting rooters and a brake fluid flysh.... Its was BS. I did t have the chance to take the car so they took advantage of her.

I was really disappointed with the shoddy and negligent work they did on my car. They installed my the battery improperly, and as a result, the car died again just three days after I brought it in. Had to take it to my usual mechanic to fix the work they had done.In addition, I wasnt pleased with the lack of communication from the guys at the desk. The car was supposed to be ready by the end of the day. Turns out it wasnt ready until almost noon the next day. This type of delay can be forgivable sometimes, but I received no notification. No one likes being left in the dark.

Maaaaan. Ive been going to precision Tune every since Ive purchased my car in 2012. Its been consistent over two states (NC & GA) and Ive never heard of this. Apparently, they have alot of offers on groupon so its a sign on the door that lets you know, that they take the first five oil changes and after that its a two hour wait. Cool Right? I walk in at 11:00 am and Im willing to wait the two hours and Im informed that they are done with oil changes for the day. 🤣🤣🤣 Okay. Never again.

I had a flat tire near this location,and I drove my car in as I saw the lighted OPEN sign. The door was locked and there were two employees inside. I knocked on the door and explained my plight and the man wearing a yellow shirt told me they were closed and that there was nothing he could do for me. I was alone and am in my 60s, I realize that I was not a scheduled customer of this store, but the treatment has left me with an unpleasant feeling about Precision Tune. I would have appreciated a look at my tire to see if it could have been driven farther or not. I understand that this is not a charitable institution but I am still a bit shocked at the lack of empathy. I have no desire to become a Precision Tune customer because of this.

Great experience, I think that the new manager makes a big difference!!!I brought my car in just for a check up and I asked about a chip on my windshield and I would totally bring my car here for that to get fixed.However if I could give some stars to the customers that get in at this shop I would give them -10 stars, I have seen customers complaining and bitching and to me that is just ignorant also a way to get things for free, Im sorry but if you own a car and you dont know that repairs and parts cost money and take time then use the light rail but stop being ignorant and rude!I work in retail and I understand how people is, the line I will talk to corporate is used so many times and thats just cheap people that cannot afford anything trying to get things for free.Precision tune at York have 2 thumbs up in my book and I will recommend it to friends and family, I just wish you guys could screen your customers. The team at the precision tune auto care at 5700 York Road location is very helpful. They even have a vehicle drop-in service, if one does not have a prior appointment. I noticed some cranking noise coming from the front wheel and took my car to this location. I was told that I should hear back from the mechanic next day around 9am, which I did and was happy to know that there was a minor glitch which they took care of without charging me anything. They even have after-hours pick-up your car option which one must enquire if they cannot make it during the work-hours. Upon picking up my car, I noticed they did a full 32 point check-up free of charge and also replaced transmission fluids. Very happy with their service. Will be returning to this facility for all the routine car check-ups as well as any repair issues.

This was the only place I took my car for oil changes. That changed when I was informed that I had to get a new oil pan and gasket which would cost me around $700. They did my past 4-5 oil changes which means they broke my oil pan. They were the last individuals who serviced my car. You shouldn’t have people working on cars if they aren’t experienced.

Initially, we called Precision for a front wheel alignment estimate. They beat all the competition by $20-30. What set them apart, however, was the follow-up question: So what problem are you having with the vehicle?Layne, the super professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manager at this location, diagnosed our REAL problem over the phone just from our description of the issue. He changed our appointment from an alignment to a brake inspection.My husband and I went to the next-day appointment. The lobby is comfortable with free WiFi, a kids table with crayons and coloring books, many chairs, and and flat screen television. Layne was able to give us a cool visual demonstration of our brake issue on a flat screen behind the front desk before even doing the inspection, which confirmed everything we were told.From the first call, we were impressed with our service from this location and are so grateful to Layne and his team for helping us figure out what problem we were having instead of performing a service we didnt actually need.

I called them for an estimate on tuning up my car. The person who answered the phone instantly quoted $400. Since the Chrysler dealer only wanted $250, and dealers are always higher than chain shops, I called the Belair Road location of Precision Tune. The man there took his time, looked it up, and came back with a price of $179.So... why would two locations of the same chain have such drastically different prices?My guess is these people dont want the work. But if thats the case, why even open your doors?
