Love these people! Dont get me wrong- I absolutely dread taking my car to be serviced or repaired. But if I have to do it, the folks at BBS make it as painless as possible. Most importantly, theyre honest and fair.

I was surprised with the low cost for routine maintenance! Although I had a very small list of things for Baltimore Body to check on my Rav4 for a 35k checkup, it was only $21! Theyve been very good with their prices -- Ive had other work done with other cars -- especially compared to what a dealer would charge. It was fast and easy to make an appointment as they are very responsive. They are very thorough and recommend additional future repairs along with estimates for the work.

My vehicle was in an accident back on July 4, and I was told that Baltimore Body Shop was the place to go, so I went to check it out. Needless to say, my vehicle looks like it came off the lot at a dealership! The staff was all reliable, kept communication with me about the status AND they completed the job a week early. I highly recommend their services for car repairs!

Did a Great Job on my rear bumper! Competitive pricing. And they let you know before hand what the cost estimate is. They even Washed my car! It looks Great! Although, I did tell them that I hope to NEVER see them Again! Nice people.

I have to echo all the favorable reviews. Had my bumper replaced and painted four years ago. Paint started to peel two years ago. Thinking it was something I did to cause the problem, so I hesitated.. Decided to take it back two weeks ago and spoke with James, a representative. He realized immediately the problem was on there end. They replaced the bumper and painted it. Outstanding..

I chose BBS to repair my CSL550 because they did a good job repairing my Mazda in the past however this has been the worse experience with a body shop. My car was taken into the shop July 1st. It is now September 23rd and they still have my car. When I was originally called to pick up my vehicle mid August, I took it home and the following morning the suspension wasnt working. The car was sitting on the floor. This is after it being in the shop for 4-6weeks. They then tow the car to the Mercedes dealer to repair the compressor. However when putting the car on the tow, they crack my front bumper. After the dealer sends the car back and everything is ready, I go to pick it up and theres a NEW dent and scratch in the rear bumper. The customer rep James then tells me hes not sure if that was already there and would need to see if my insurance would cover it. The car was dented up due to a tree falling on it and the rear bumper was a part of the original repair job!!!!! I am now waiting to hear back from the manager on how they will proceed in repairing the dent in my bumper. This is AFTER I chose to pay over $500 to have them paint both rockers on the car. The rockers were the ONLY thing not painted..yet I am now being told the new dent isnt due to their negligence!! The dent still had scratch paint around it!! This has been the most unprofessional, energy draining experience. I will NEVER use this shop again and I highly discourage anyone else from using them. I am adding a photo of the new dent which was taken Monday Sept. 21st.

They listen to you! They are fair. They have kept my cars in good shape for almost 8 years now, and I have no complaint. If I had a question, it is answered/resolved quickly.

I must say this company did an amazing job on my 2014 lexus. I got a paint job done it was amazing like my car came straight from the dealership again. I would highly recommend doing business with this company.

It has been 2 weeks. One part was replaced, which was ordered incorrectly, then another part was replaced because the first part didnt fix it. Now a third part needs to be replaced to fix the issue, we replaced it ourselves, and it still did not fix the problem.On top of that, they call you last minute to say that they cant get it done until the next week so what else can you do but wait. If the mechanic has difficulty with your car, he will wait until the end of the day to work on it, then give up and push it back another day or week.Update: after some back and forth, they did take my car back to look at it and offered a partial refund

We have been taking our cars to the Body Shop for quite some time. Some thing we have really come to appreciate is that they do good work for a fair price and are honest.We are not car people. Cars are just necessary means to get safely and reliably from point A to point B. Car trouble is always an inconvenience and an unwelcome, mostly unexpected, expense. In the past, taking a car in to get it worked on, we often found ourselves wondering whether all the work suggested really needed to be done or whether we were going to be paying for the next boat payment of the garage owner. At the Body Shop they clearly explain what and why they suggest the work. They will also tell you what might be coming up in the future, but is not necessary right now. It helps you plan for it. They will keep you informed about the progress of the job and work with you, where they can, to fit the repair in with your schedule. We really appreciate that we can drop the car off and trust that they will honestly diagnose the problem and fix it competently for a fair price. And last but not least, they are very nice people to deal with.

This is the best body shop Ive been to. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the mechanics too! Very honest company. Did not pressure anything. They told me what my car needed done in addition to what I brought it in for, but let me know it wasnt emergent and I could wait a few more months before servicing myself. Highly recommend.

They did a fantastic job on my car. I had to get the front bumper replaced after an accident. They told me they needed to keep my car for two days which worked out since I was going to be away for two days. Everything was straight forward and they charged me exactly what they estimated. I later received a very sweet thank you card in the mail from them about a week later with a card for a free complimentary oil change. I will definitely continue to take my car there and reccomend it to everyone.

The team at Baltimore Body Shop is THE BEST. First of all, working with Mariah is a dream come true for a woman in the world just trying to get her car fixed . I tried out other shops in Baltimore and either left feeling condescended to or gross after some old man called me sweety too many times and tried to rip me off. But not here. Mariah is a badass who will be honest with you and get you a good deal. When Ive been confused about repairs, shell call in the mechanic if necessary to walk me through it so I understand what needs to happen and why. When my car broke down two states away, I called BBS and they gave me some quick advice about the price I was being offered for a repair somewhere else - a few days before Christmas I might add.I have sent friends and co-workers here for repairs and body work they needed done and everyone has sung the praises of this place. Seriously, I do no look forward to a day where I ever move somewhere else and have to find a new mechanic because I trust and value Baltimore Body Shop so deeply. BBS&S has been my go-to place for years based on a recommendation of a friend. Twice, they told me service wasnt required when a dealership or other shop told me I needed something, saving me over $1500. When being towed there once, the tow truck driver said mine was the 3rd car he had personally towed there in 2 days. The staff and mechanics are always friendly and willing to explain the implications of needed service to me in laymans terms. I highly recommend this place!!

These guys are honest. Started going there after they gave a second opinion on an issue I had been quoted 3 times as much for at a previous place.I did have to repeatedly go there to fix this one problem with my car starting, but they didnt charge me for the repeat visits. Plus I have an older car so its kind of to be expected.They have very friendly staff who are dead honest. I have asked if I should get services there and they have straight up told me to try other places instead due to my pricing needs, and have discussed with me what is and is not worth doing to my vehicle..

I cant warn against this place enough. They seem incapable of finishing a job and staying on top of your requests. I brought my car in to have the exterior panel of the passenger door replaced. I had to bring it back THREE TIMES over the course of half a year and the repair was still never completely finished. The door still leaks when it rains, they never reinstalled the interior panel, the repair took twice as long as promised everytime I brought it back for the same repair, and they never followed up on several other estimates I requested each time I brought it in. Further, because they didnt fix the leak and then let the car sit for weeks, a bunch of things I had behind the passenger seat got wet and moldy and were ruined. Be warned!

So far, so good. I went in to have the timing belt replaced on my 2008 Volvo S40, and they did the job for significantly less than what I had been quoted elsewhere. Ill be returning for an upholstery shampoo / detail soon, and will post another review after that.

Huey is the master upholsterer here. This man basically overhauled the interior of my Volvo S40 after it suffered a bad water leak that caused a mildew smell to permeate the car. Huey replaced the floor carpet, the sunroof drains; he painted the vehicles underbelly with anti-mold paint; and even performed an ozone shock treatment to rid the vehicle of all odors for good. A HUGE operation that came out very well. I will definitely take my car here again when its time to reupholster my leather!

These guys have done some body work on my car, and they were even happy to hold on to it for a week while I was out of town. Fast service and honest folks. I highly recommend them. They do regular service in addition to body repairs.

Highly recommend this shop!!!!I had taken my jeep to three different mechanics and explained the issues to each. One after the next said they could fix it. None of them did. So, frustrated, I called Baltimore Body Shop after a neighbor said they had done a great job on his Miata. When I called, I explained my situation to the mechanic. His response immediately made him seem more knowledgeable than any of the other mechanics I had taken the jeep to. He told me I could bring the jeep in the following morning. After only two hours of having the jeep, he called me and told me exactly what the problems were. The last mechanic had the jeep for three weeks. The jeep is running better now than it has in the last year I have owned it. Tom, thank you! You were great!Did I mention they were able to accomplish this in spite of just recently suffering a fire? Indeed, the back half of their shop had no roof but that didnt stop them! They were still plugging away at cars. It is SO hard to find an honest, reliable and competent mechanic in Baltimore City much less one that has all three of these qualities. I will refer any and all of my friends and neighbors to them. They definitely have my future business!

Took my car in for a dent that was causing my door to get stuck. Took it in for just an estimate at 4:30pm and they were able to fix it the same day in 30 minutes! Far exceeded my expectations. I had sent in pictures to a different auto body company that i live closer to for an estimate and hadnt heard back in 3 days, so I came to Baltimore body shop instead. Customer service was great (friendly and fast). Thank you Mariah, Rachel, and Ray...I hope I have your names right! You are awesome.

What a great experience. I got into a minor fender bender, and about two minutes after the impact I was already dreading the experience of finding someone to fix my car. Of course, I also wanted to get my car fixed and back on the road as soon as possible.Long story short: I shopped around a little, chose Baltimore Body Shop, and am very glad I did. The prices were reasonable, communication was good, the work was done quickly, and everyone I worked with was pleasant and professional. I drove away with a smile on my face. I got the impression that this is a well-oiled machine, and they certainly had now problem turning my car around in around 72 hours, with no shadyness and no hassles.I dont look forward to getting in another accident, but if I do, I know who Ill be calling.

Brought my truck there and it was taken care of right away I was surprised I had no wait at all. They really treat you like family!

Called them to get an estimate and they advised to come in. When I got there the tech was not there. He was suppose to be there in 20 minutes, waited for over an hour and the tech never showed up! If you want something done in a timely manner this is not the body shop for you.

I almost killed myself today needed tires but was waiting for my paycheck to hit my accout. Hopped on 83 turn on the first curve and I started to slide and hit the bumper on the Brick wall. They fixed my bumper for 50 dollars it wasnt to bad and I think I will let them check my check engine. Staff is friendly, honest and professional they do everything and I finally found my one stop do all autoshop.

This was a horrifying experience. I took my vehicle in for a rear bumper to be fixed and when I got it back my radio and clock had been reset. My oil light was on on and my engine light came on shortly thereafter. Eventually, my vehicle shut off in the middle of the road while I was attempting to take it back. When I called to inform them and get some answers, Rachel, the manager began defended the shop before hearing my complaint. When I asked her to investigate, she continued to tell me that it was a coincidence that all this had occurred. What?! I could not believe she had said that. She even went on to explain why an oil light comes on in a car as if she was giving out new information. Needless to say, I will NEVER reccommend this shop to anyone I know.

Okay if you want a crap job. My fiance paid 4k for a paint job and slight body work and they had the vehicle for over 8months and poor communication about time to be finished. Kept pushing back the time because as we were told the cars that are insurance jobs come first even though our car was paid for in cash in full. We asked for pictures on the progress for each step and only got them when we had to call up the shop and complain. We finally are able to go pick up the car and we check it out and there are scratches and knicks in it everywhere! Could have gone to macco for the same crap job and have paid so much less. Never will we recommend this shop to any of the car club or friends.
