I had to take a friend for surgery and she told me I could get coffee around the corner. I didnt even know this place was here! The owner was there and made my coffee and it was so good. They have a great selection of sugar free syrups!!! The owner was friendly and had great customer service. I WILL be going here again. If your in town and need a good coffee skip Starbucks and head over here you wont regret it!

Driving around a shopping center after an appointment and noticed this place so we stopped in. This place is a definite diamond in the rough to find. Such amazing aromas and the coffee and tea are just amazing. If your looking for a place to chill and just unwind come to the Coffeehouse and unwind. We will be making multiple repeat appearances.

If you love coffee, this is the place to go! Coffee beans are roasted fresh right in the front of the store. Its really neat to see the equipment. They have a variety of blends, which you can buy to brew or grind at home. Quaint and charming..... great spot for a good conversation over a great cup of coffee.

This is THE most wonderful smelling coffee shop! I ordered an iced mocha, and the staff was courteous and professional, and they made my drink in no time!Once things open up again, I want to order a lunch there and enjoy the wonderful aroma during my meal!My drink was a VERY smooth coffee that did NOT leave a harsh bitter aftertaste that coffee from some other places do (you know, the places with a logo of a green and white mermaid queen with two tails)

This place was a disappointment. I would recommend going somewhere else. The service was awful and the manager rude. The coffee was mediocre at best. I had a much better experience at the Tipsy Beans Cafe.

This was a great little local find while we were on vacation! As you walk in, there is roasting coffee and a very large variety of drinks for anyones interests! If we were local, we would absolutely go here for freshly roasted coffee beans and drinks much more often.

I have a hard time believing that two young girls behind the counter refuse to serve coffee to someone without a mask. As of today the indoor mask mandate is no longer in place, yet they refuse me service. I won’t be back.

Aside from the delicious coffee, baked goods, and vast array of options, the thing that ultimately sets The Coffeehouse apart--not just from other coffee places, but small businesses in general--is the grace of its owner, Charles.Each time Ive visited, his service is notably high and above that of almost any establishment Ive ever been to. I leave every time feeling cheerful to have been witness to someone who really truly cares to bless others with his service.Most notably, right after my son was born, I dropped in to get a much needed I-just-had-a-baby-and-cant-keep-my-eyes-open cup of strong coffee. I stopped in quickly for a brew, and had noticed Charles standing by the door as I grabbed my drink. I didnt know who he was at the time and assumed he was another customer waiting for someone else before he could leave. I took my time grabbing napkins, taking a sip to check for adjustments, adding cream, etc. I probably spent two minutes taking my sweet, sweet time. He didnt move. As I approached the door, I realized he had been patiently waiting just to hold the door for me as I pushed my son in the stroller. Ill never forget that.Today we went and he joked with my now 18 month old and treated us, as always, in such a beautiful manner. I even took note of how pleasantly he interacted with his employees.Again, the coffee and treats will not disappoint. But the real treasure, is Charles.

They had lots of coffee selections from different places. Also there was a selection of hot soups, sandwiches and salads. The cashier service was fantastic. I will definitely keep coming back when I am in town.

Best locally-roasted coffee! Best mochas in at least 3 states! Welcoming locals who know your name AND your favorite coffee! Great spot for meeting friends, business meetings... intimate, casual, and accepting of folk spending hours at a time working, visiting, writing....several local authors can be found creatively at work. Dont drink coffee? Also offer teas, hot cocoa, hot cider, strawberry lemonade...great homemade soups and quiche.

My wife and I stopped on our way out of town hoping for a good cup of coffee. What we found was this adorable coffee shop with great staff and a welcoming feel. Most coffee shops hand you a to go cup and want you go...we were so surprised to find that there coffee is served in regular coffee cups wanting you to stay and enjoy their shop. It was a beautiful day so we chose to sit outside and the owner and staff bring your drink to you showing true customer service. This was a great experience for both of us. We are so looking forward to coming back and enjoying some good coffee the next time we come down to Williamsburg. Love the small town feel, locally owned, great people. Love that the owner roasts the coffee right there on site. They also grind the beans however you would like or sells them whole. Great food options as well.

We buy coffee here to brew at home - and believe me- you want that. It is delicious and nothing I buy in the store can compare. Great work!

Saw a previous review about not allowing someone to sit and do work here so I was skeptical, but ended up having the opposite experience. The service was friendly and the coffee delicious. I stayed for four hours while working on my computer and the staff even helped me find a spot with an easily accessible outlet. Ordered a latte and also ended up getting lunch. Was very impressed and I will absolutely return.

The Coffeehouse is a great, locally owned cafe with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Delicious soups, sandwiches, and salads for lunch in addition to a full coffee menu. Lovely patio. Highly recommend.

You must go here if youre in Williamsburg! Theres coffee roasting in a roaster right by the front door, and it smells like coffee heaven! The coffee is wonderful, and you can get a bag of your favorite roast to take home.

Love this local spot! Coffee is fantastic. Warm, friendly, personable service. Even better they have gluten free bread and can make vegetarian dish to order! Fast service too! Furthermore, there was an old post written by someone from Brooklyn who referred to the complex as decrepit or dilapidated. I find that hard to believe that that was ever the case - for either the shopping center or the coffeehouse. Frankly, the Brooklyn reviewer hasnt ever really walked down her own streets for a comparison, because there aint no comparison even if you put Brooklyn Heights up against Colonial Williamsburg! The classiest streets in Brooklyn need years of bleaching. And I mean years.

I am a student who commutes 30 minutes to school, with a part time job in the local area. I usually have work in the morning then have a few hours in between, creating the need to park it for a few hours since I live outside of Williamsburg. I bought a drink as a common courtesy intending to kill my time in the shop and the lady at the register told me my gift card wouldnt be accepted without a minimum and I couldnt sit at a large table since she noticed my bavkpack. I have my laptop and three separate books I have to use all at once to complete assignments. Wont be coming back to take up too much space or order too little.

As a regular here (going on five years now), I was offended by an employee wearing a hat make America Mexico again. It shocked me that someone who is clearly enjoying the benefits of the shops employment would openly advocate such a concept. While they make great coffee, Ill be looking elsewhere now. I dont want whats supposed to be a relaxing experience to be politically biased. Shocked the owners would allow this.

My coffee machine at home broke and my husband and I needed a coffee fix so we decided to try the coffeehouse on Saturday (Sept 14th) and the place was hopping. A very nice staff member recommended a latte with a caramel shot for my husband and I ordered the Mocha. Both drinks were magic, I dont think Ive ever had a better mocha, and my husband couldnt stop raving about the latte. (The drinks were made by a large man with bushy hair who clearly knows how to make an awesome beverage.) We were so impressed with our drinks that we came back on Monday (Sept 17th) and asked for the exact same order. This time both drinks tasted like watery warm milk. The 5-star review is for the first 2 drinks we had. Unfortunately, for almost $10, Im unwilling to play coffee roulette again with another employee so I wont be back.

Inconsistent service. Food is OK. Highly irritated that they serve breakfast “until 11”. I get into the place at 10:53 and don’t order until 11:03 and they tell me I cannot order breakfast! Grrrr....

Just had coffee their with a friend I ordered a quiche and it was to saltly for me I went to the counter to replace it with a danish and the owner said to me have I ever had quiche before and I said yes. That was very rude to ask me that i would know if something is to saltly for me and its MY MONEY thats paying for it not yours I did not further entertain it.
