Always a pleasure going here and taking my kids to see fresh donuts made in the bakery! I love the seasonal menus that have so many flavorful and creative options. It’s expensive but the experience and freshness are worth it. We snacked on our donuts for 2 days afterwards and they were just as good. My family wanted to fight me for throwing the leftovers away on day 3 ! But it was a must.

This place is such a treat! I love fresh food. Nothing can beat it being made right in front of you! Our favorite Maple Bacon. The cold brew with sweet cream is also amazing!

Gastronomic Fun! ... and friendly people.In addition to a ton of interesting donuts, they have great coffee and milk shakes. All donuts are based off a basic sweet cake donut and then given a basic coating you can choose, followed by your choice of toppings. I liked the maple and bacon, the blueberry crumble, and the caramel and sea salt milk shake was great.

These donuts are AMAZING!! The staff was wicked nice explaining things to us since it was our first time and dang the donuts are epic.

These donuts are the truth! They are custom made donuts. They come out hot with whatever you want on them. My favorite is the Bacon in the Sun - bacon, maple icing, salted caramel drizzle. I only eat this when I go on vacation. LOL! They are delicious and fun to eat I highly recommend to enjoy life on vacation or anytime!

First time visiting and was amazed that the donuts are mad to order not dried out donuts setting on the racks waiting to be sold. Love thats its cooked and glazed after you make your pick 😋

WOW OH WOW!!! Delicious, delicious, delicious. You can not go wrong with any choice you make. I may not be able to help you with your choices, because I would list all of the selections. Even the regular glaze is tops on my list. Dont forget to get a little Ducky for you souvenir. Staff is truly friendly. Location is great. Made to order and the warmth of the box means youll probably eat one before you leave the store.

I LOVE Duck Donuts! Stopped in the morning and grabbed a couple dozen to carry to a meeting - OMG they were amazing!Be aware they make the donuts to-order so they do take a little time but its well worth the wait!

This Duck Donuts is located at 4655 Monticello Avenue, Suite 103, in Williamsburg, Virginia... actually it seemed more like in Jamestown than Williamsburg, to us.The place was fantastic! We took a ferry ride from Surry to Jamestown (VDOTs Jamestown-Scotland Ferry service, which was great!) and headed to duck Donuts for a little sausage, egg & cheese (on an English Muffin) breakfast, complete with some freshly baked donuts, fresh coffee, and even a blueberry milkshake.Can you say caffeine and calories!! Delicious, and we had a day full of walking planned, so was the perfect way to start the day.The place was very busy, but the staff handled the orders in a timely, accurate manner and our items were delivered hot & tasty.Completely met our expectations and we would definitely go back again!

Well, we certainly are not donut connoisseurs, but its probably because we havent had Duck Donuts before. If wed had them before, we imagine wed be eating a lot more donuts!These made-to-order, fresh in house donuts are sublime! There are many flavor combinations to choose from, or you can create your own. That was really fun. And the fact that they make them only when you walk in makes them fresh and delicious all the time. Very, very worth a visit!

I had heard the excitement, so wanted to try these myself. You can custom create your donuts or choose from a few preset toppings. I chose the All American and the Revolution. All donuts are made fresh for each order, and they come out very quickly. I also got a coffee ($2). The donuts were too hot to eat immediately but after a few minutes I was able to enjoy them. I found the donuts had such strong flavor it was hard to notice the toppings. They were good but I wouldnt rush back.

I’ve tried different donut shops but duck donuts tops them all - and this place specifically is really good. The workers were really nice and helpful. Every time we drive down to Williamsburg this is one of our first stops there.

Service was great but dont expect anything to happen quickly. Great overall experience.

We LOVE visiting this location when we come up to this area. Staff are always friendly and with SO many varieties, understanding in the ordering process. This is a place that has something for everyone. Some of us love them freshly made, I personally like mine cooled and the icing some time to harden. Great coffee too! Thumbs up from our entire family.

I cant believe I waited half of my life to eat a Duck Donut. After this experience I can now begin the second half! LOLMost delicious sweet treat I have ever had. I cannot describe how wonderfully perfect a Duck Donut is. I had a blueberry crumble, raspberry/marshmallow cream, Bacon in the sun, and lemon/blackberry. Had a cup of the pecan coffee. They were all amazing. The service was friendly and quick even though the store was packed. I am counting down the days until I can go again!

I really wanted to love these donuts, but had to give them just three stars, because the inside dough had a gooey raw taste and feel. I don’t know if this was because we got there just minutes before closing and they genuinely were not cooked all the way through or if that is how they are always cooked. The outside had a lovely crunch to it that I loved and the flavors were on point, but the peach was just a bit too sweet for my taste. I will definitely go again when they aren’t rushing to get the doors closed!

You can create your own donuts!!! This place is amazing! They have tons of pre-selected ideas for donuts and you can make whatever sounds yummy! Cool concept for a donut chain and they are delish! We grabbed a dozen fresh ones and drove them home! They were still good that night and several days later!

My first visit to a Duck Donuts. Now I understand all the rage! Donuts are freshly prepared and come out warm. They may cost a bit more than other donut places($1.75 at this location), but it is worth it. The maple bacon donut was delicious.

After hearing so much about Duck Donuts, I expected better donuts. The batter was too doughy and tasted undercooked. Bacon was way undercooked for my tastes. It was nice to be able to customize your order.

The donuts are delicious and are baked to order. Great concept. You can order on line and there’re tables to sit. I noticed many small tiny ducks for sale. The cutest little ducks. My family and I stopped in the morning of 8/7/21 while it was very busy. Normally I don’t write reviews but the service was great! There was a young man making the donuts and working so very hard to get the orders complete. A woman had asked him to change his gloves (which to me was rude and unnecessary during a large wave of customers). His response was “yes ma’am”. The donuts were good but the five stars are for him.

Nice people, cute place, friendly staff, but there is room for an improvement. One star goes down for the actual product! Donuts are fresh, but greasy and could use some filling. Quality is there, and its nice to experience hot donuts for a change, compering to most other places around, but it could be a little bit less grease on it ! Overall, its nice place to visit because its different and still good !

Duck Donuts offered such a wide variety of mouth watering donut options its hard to choose; but the Key Lime Cheesecake is a winner! Staff was friendly, and the order came out quick. The people that work here can be very rude. Especially if you have a pick up order. They will allow you to stand around and not even call out a name or anything. On top of all of that they are extremely slow.

Best donuts in town. But don’t let Google circumvent your order or you will get excessively charged ($7.32) for a service which they did not provide. I order duck donuts while sitting in their parking lot so I could pick them up. Again a phenomenal product and great variety. I I find hat two days later my donut Cody of $16.59 was inflated to $23.91 by Google for providing absolutely zero service....except duck donuts near you. Pirates and thieves for Google to charge me $7.32 to show me that.

Very cool place. The donuts are so fresh. You can watch them make them in front of you and the staff are all so friendly. They get very busy at various parts of the day which shows that people want the donuts. The maple bacon donut and sunrise (lemon and raspberry) are amazing!!

I enjoyed my maple bacon donut, crispy bacon with a crunch on the outside and yummy softness on the inside of the donut. My sister enjoyed her donut sandwich. The young brunette lady with glasses was great! The key lime sauce was yummy, I just wish they had white chocolate sauce.

It was just super slow when I was the only one who was waiting. The lady who made my donuts took so long to put drizzles and toppings, my donuts weren’t warm or hot by the time I got them.Virginia Beach location taste better(way better because they make it really quick so it’s still warm or hot!!) and the service is better in VB as well. I only go to this Williamsburg location just because it’s way closer to me. I would give FIVE STARS to VB location but not this location. 😵😖🙅🏻‍♀️The vibe is so different than the VB location. VB seems more active, fast, fun, crowded and clean!

I tried Duck Donuts last week while on vacation in Williamsburg. I was excited to check this place out since they are actually opening a location a few miles away from where I live in Florida. If you love donuts, then this is THE place for you! The donuts are all made to order, so they are nice and hot when you get them. Id suggest eating them there so you get to have them while they are still super fresh. They have so many different combinations of toppings and glazes/drizzles., that you are sure to find something you like. We ordered a dozen and chose the Colonial Collection, they were all delicious! My favorite was the maple bacon. I also tried the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a donut bun. It SO good, but also SO bad for you, lol. Also, these are cake donuts which are different than the yeast donuts that Krispy Kreme serves hot. They are just as delicious though (if not more!). Dont come to this place unless you plan on gaining about 10 lbs instantly because its too easy to eat an entire dozen by yourself :)

Great customer service!! The donuts are made to order. They also are currently offering coupons for a free donut, in most local magazines, with the purchase of a dozen. Taste a lot better than Dunkin Donuts!! Ive never been to a place that offered a bucket of donuts!!!! Absolutely loved it!!

We highly recommend Duck Donuts for the donuts and the basic experience of seeing donuts made. It was great!We were visiting Williamsburg for the weekend and had this shop recommended to us. We were not disappointed. It is a really nice simple donut shop that specializes in cake donuts (only). Each donut is made fresh and to order while you wait. They have picture charts for you to see and pick what you want. The staff is really polite, courteous, and takes a great deal of care to ensure every donut is exactly what you ordered.It was great to be able to see the donuts being made. It brought back childhood memories. I smiled the whole time. You watch the donut machine squirt the dough, fry and flip the donuts and dry on the rack. Then the donut maker hand dips each one in front of you. They use quality boxes to keep your donuts hot and fresh. With COVID-19 they are extra careful about cleanliness and using gloves. There are only a few tables, 3 (Maybe 4) inside so there is no crowding. We had the sugar cinnamon, french toast, maple bacon, glazed, and a few others. We paid about $20 for a dozen and they were worth it. The donuts are a good size and are filling. We chatted with another customer that said she is there every morning to get a bagel sandwich and coffee. She ate her sandwich there and was happy when she left, just like we were. We ordered a dozen, ate a few in house and then purchased 6 more to intentionally take them to family on our way home so they they could try them for the 1st time as well. (We were not going to share ours, lol) We brought the rest of our donuts home for our daughters. The donuts survived our 2 hour drive home and our youngest daughter has been licking her fingers ever since! She ate my donut!!!You can go in to order or place your order online for pick up. This location offers a military discount. The box has instructions for warming them up. You can also get a little rubber ducky to commemorate your visit!

The doughnuts are hot and airy, melt in your mouth. The only downside is that this location can be a bit skimpy on the toppings. You wont have that problem with the North Carolina locations.

Five Star donut experience, I had seen Duck Donuts on tv, and felt we needed to give it a try. Hot, fresh cake donuts, with numerous toppings available, $20 for a dozen seems expensive but we loved ❤ every bite. Not Krispy Kreme for those of us in the NC Piedmont area but well worth the stop.

Definitely worth checking out if youre in the Williamsburg area. They also have a little viewing area for your kids to see how the donuts are made.
