To say they have poor customer service would be an understatement.. they were at my house over a month ago to diagnose a problem with an appliance. Ordered the part, was told it would take a few days to get in and that they’d be in touch. Have not heard one word since. I’ve called multiple times with no call back. It’s very frustrating. I would rather buy a completely new appliance then deal with them again.

Great service, great installers. Within one year I have purchased washer, dryer, refrigerator and now a dishwasher. Prices are reasonable.

I called sales and service repeatedly and didnt get an answer so I drove there from Carthage. I needed a new heating element for my dryer that their site said was in stock. When I arrived the sales associate told me the repair man had left for the day and he wasnt allowed to sell me parts, even though I had the part number and brought the broken part I needed. He said he wasnt allowed to go upstairs and see if the part I needed was in stock but I could call tomorrow and talk to the repair guy. Im confused why a sales associate cant sell me a part that I know I need, that I have the part number for and that I have the exact model in hand of.

We were ready to buy at Watertown appliance. Sales agent seemed to answer all our questions. We went on a Saturday. Agent said we would get an email to the total cost of what we wanted to purchase, by the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Called several times because we hadnt received an email for a week and a half. No one answers the phones, you can only leave a message. Even if you leave a message they dont get back to you for days. They lost our permanently.

Was able to find the fridge I was looking for that the major dealers did not have even got the product for less then the big box stores!

Did not have what I was looking for and did not seem like they wanted to make a sale today. Too bad as I have always heard good things about this place.

Great service from my salesman, Travis. He knew exactly what was wrong with my current dishwasher from my description of the sounds it was making. He helped me instantly find a dishwasher that was almost exactly what I had and wanted again. He gave me a great deal on the dishwasher, warranty, and delivery/installation. I would highly recommend shopping a this great local store instead of a big box store. They know what theyre talking about, and have room to work with you, where Lowes would not. Thanks Travis!

We are Lowes patrons, through and through, but Watertown Appliance was recently recommended to us so we thought we would stop by to look at their items before we headed to Lowes. As we walked in, we liked the quality and charm of the store, but it was our sales rep, Eric, that sealed the customer service and salesmanship of this business. For the first time in our 20 years as a couple, we purchased an appliance from another source, not Lowes. It was a great one on one experience..., personal and heartfelt. Had to wait an extra month for product, that I was told was in stock. Had to switch and lose rebates because they only had the microwave they lie to customers. When I finally got them installed there where Foot prints on all my appliances after a year 1 week out of warranty my dishwasher pump goes the person on the phone was ride and says oh well you need a new one really!!! NEVER BUY FROM HERE

This is the place to buy all your appliances in the North Country. Our entire family has bought their products for the last 25 years, and had nothing but outstanding treatment and service from them. They offer top quality products and are extremely competitive with pricing, and service after the deal has always been the best! You really need to manage your Google Business Page better. Potential customers and current alike, have no idea when you are really open and if your hours are correct. You might want to get an answering machine as well, you are most likely missing out on sales opportunities, customer retention and referrals. Customer service is underrated.

I delivers my dryer for repair on 6/25. It was finally ready on 7/29. Got it home and it was not put together properly. The belt tensioner was rubbing against the drive pulley. It was definitely never tested. I bought all my kitchen appliances from them hoping that helping a local business would help. It didn’t. I called weekly asking for an update. I never received a call back despite promises. It still isn’t right but I’ll never go back to them. Don’t go there for service. I’m very disappointed and dismayed that local doesn’t matter to them.

I applied for a job. I had to keep contacting them and I was promised a job after my 2 weeks of my then job. I continued to keep in contact with them and now no response and I don’t even see it as a reliable job anymore. Do not recommend for employment.

We needed a NEW washer and dryer before my other half was deploying. Being a mom of 4 kids (with two EXTRA LARGE DOGS) you can’t go without a good running washer and dryer. Of coarse I went to Home Depot first (because that was my first thought of places to go). Home Depot in our town (a military town) doesn’t stock washers and dryers. They offered us a referbished washer to take with us that day but WOULD NOT SELL us the floor model dryer. We even asked the manager on duty and told the manager we would get both the refurbished washer AND dryer that day if they’d sell us the floor model because of our situation. They REFUSED. We left and found this WONDERFUL store. They had BOTH the washer and dryer IN STOCK and even stayed open for us to get it same day! I will recommend these people to ANYONE who will listen. Oh did I mention the appliances were CHEAPER for the SAME washer and dryer (that weren’t refurbished!!!!)!!!!I was VERY disappointed in Home Depot and their customer service, however, it all worked out in the end and Watertown Appliance saved the day. The staff is pretty amazing too!!!

They took money for a repair at lunchtime and by quitting time they said they could not fix it. They said sorry the parts are not available. Type the part number in and they are all over the internet. They did refund my money but I still have a broken appliance. Ordered the part and will fix myself.

Last year my husband and I were looking for a new gas stove and found one we liked and they asked if it was being delivered and I said yes and the clerk tried to add on a $42 delivery charge and I told him I have friends who had their appliances delivered free as long as it was in Watertown (Gotham Street) and he said that was not correct,canceled the stove and went to Lowes and got an ever better stove with free delivery,wont ever go back to Watertown Appliances.

Decent prices if you get through the deceptive advertising. Their website pricing, in store advertising and on computer price in their system were all different on same exact dishwasher. In the case of the website and in store signage was a difference of two hundred dollars. Ok, it happens but to top it off, the guy that waited on us seemed extremely annoyed to be waiting on us and to even take our money. In the age of big box retailers edging out mom and pop operations, I love to support the little guys and keep money locally instead of feeding the corporate machine. This experience has me serious rethinking this. Maybe he had a bad day but it did seem like this may be par for the course.

Our experience with this company was nothing but wonderful. We purchased a new stove and refrigerator at the begining of January with dilivery in a week as they neededto order the stove. When the date for dilivery approached a family emergency occured that called us away for two months. Matt the manager was so understanding and accommodating when we returned they got our products to us in days, even going out of their way to deliver them on a day planned for the guys to be on the otherside of the county! The installation when without a hitch and the delivery men were kind and knowledgeable about the use of the products, in fact as good as the sales people. We like the personal touch of a small family owned business rather then an uncaring big box store. The price was the same but what made them different was the product knowledge and the long forgotten, so it seems, customer service. Thought out this entire process Matt and his team returned calls promptly, kept thier promises and were always understanding.

I stopped in there Wednesday to order a belt for my dryer and was supposed to have Friday. Its the following Monday and I still dont have my dryer belt. Who actually knows when Ill have it to fix my dryer I got from there 9 yrs ago. Very disappointed.
