I bought an older used truck on a whim after waiting months unsuccessfully looking for a very specific new truck I want. Thanks chip shortage. 🙄. When I decided to take the truck in for an inspection, I received lots of suggestions for an auto shop, but I chose this one because its so close to my house. I called and got a next day appointment. I was greeted when I entered the building. The man at the desk offered me a loaner vehicle. After the inspection, I received a call informing me of the results and letting me know I could check my email to see the full report. I ended up taking the truck back where I bought it to get the repairs done since there were so many, and I paid $140 for the inspection here. It was totally worth it! I dont want to name names because every single person I interacted with here was so friendly and helpful. I will go back here in the future for any vehicle repairs. I highly recommend them!

It is unfortunate that such a well known local business doesnt REALLY care about the brands that they sell. I had a mower sent there for diagnosis for an issue, only to be told there is no issue. The manufacturer was the one who told me to take it there since they were an authorized dealer and repair center. The manufacturer also told me that there definitely is an issue, and the repairs will be covered under warranty. But boy, if you didnt purchase it from here, I think they could care less about making sure things get resolved. I totally get giving priority to equipment that was purchase here, but when the manufacturer says to take it here and they will take care of you, well I guess the manufacturer needs to remind them of what being an authorized dealer means. If I take a Jeep to a Jeep dealer for warranty repair, they WILL NOT CARE where it was purchased. What I dont understand is why. They will be paid from the manufacturer for the repair, and potentially gain a new customer, but apparently they dont have time for that. Also keep in mind that this place is pretty well known for not wanting to work on stuff that wasnt purchased here. Take your mowers to Riggs or Burkes, maybe they will be interested in a new customer.

Brought my mower tire in because of a slow leak. Only place in town that has the equipment to fix the small tire. I was greeted promptly and professionally. Diagnosed the problem quickly and left the tire as they politely explained the time delay due to current day’s business. Called before noon as they promised and picked up the tire. Again, very friendly and brought tire out to the car for my wife. My wife greatly appreciated and commented to me when she got home how nice and professional they were. Top notch local business going through extra mile. Thank you!

I took my vehicle there because I had a nail in my tire and needed a simple plug... I go in and they take the car and it dawned on me after to just inquire the price. Couldnt be more than $10-15?? WRONG. My total for ONE plug in ONE tire was $30.33. I was floored as he began to explain that they have to take the tire off etc. Which Im fully aware of the process as Ive had this done before and Ive also plugged a tire myself. What I have NEVER done was pay $30.33 for a simple $3 plug. I said no problem and that I would pay. Finally got my car back after walking from both sides figuring out where they left my car... I made it a point that I will never EVER go there again. Just because Valparaiso is a nice area does not give you the right to charge 3x the amount for A TIRE PLUG 😬 I was blown away and decided Ill go elsewhere.

Staff are awesome as always ..friendly and family oriented. I trust these guys always with my car issues and they solve them and with urgency and timely matter..I would recommend these guys for any car repair job or tire need.. always there when I needed help with my car and get you the best price and dont try to rip you off.

We simply dropped the car off to get an oil change and brake evaluation. The humans typed proficiently on a keypad attached to a monitor and read back what we told them about the car. The car ordered the Continental breakfast,and a massage at 8 am.Discussed a long term issue with the brakes on our vehicle. After inspection of the brakes they made recommendations and installed new pads, rotors and brake fluid. Now the brakes work as expected, and we are very happy with the service we received!

Always do a great job way cheaper than the Porsche dealer and they provide better work!

Didnt have it repaired there, way too high priced. They were going to charge $130 for diagnostics even if I had the car fixed. Most places wave diagnostics if you used them. I paid the diagnostics and saved $180 towing it home and doing it ourselves. The service writer was very nice though and helpful but this business is charging way too much for labor

After purchasing after market wheels for my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I visited Heinold & Feller to inquire if they would install and if so, the next available appointment. To my absolute surprise, they not only were able install my new wheels but also were able to have the work accomplished and me out the door with approximately 1.5 hours after my arrival that day!The staff is professional and customer oriented. It was a pleasure to interact with and feel your concerns are being addressed as best as possible.They have earned my business for any future needs and I highly recommend this company.

I needed tires for a small trailer that I use for brush around my home that are not a common size and they had them!!!Then I was told that one rim had a small crack...The man said he would see if he had one to fit....noneI was about to give up and then the man said he would check with the tire person to see if a tube could be put it so the tire would seat.It worked!!!!I was worn out from trying to get my trailer useable again.I am very thankful they did what it took😁😁😁

Horrible I wouldn’t take any newer vehicle there for anything. Horrible customer service had my 2020 Mustang there for a front alignment just the front two wheels. After sitting on the rack with no employee working on it for 45 mins they proceeded to tell me there is no camber adjustment. Fine no big deal, they said they could do a tow adjustment I told them while it was on the rack to do it thinking they wouldn’t charge full price for a half alignment! Wrong they charged a full $175.00 for it absolutely ridiculous!! The top of the invoice says “Because your family matters to ours” the only thing they are concerned about is taking your money! They will never get my business again I then spoke to the manager Andy and he said the price is the price! 0/10 never going back!! And after repeatedly told them DO NOT take my car on a test drive they did anyway! No respect for peoples property or requests!!!!!

I have purchased tires and had other maintenance of vehicles in the past. I will not choose this business as my first choice in the future. The product is acceptable but 3 hrs to put on new tires seemed excessive. I asked them to put my old tires in the bed of my truck but that wasnt done. They more interested in finding problems with my vehicle them providing a good service experience.

Not only did they destroy my center cap after taking a torch to it, it took them 2 hours to change 4 tires. Then was told they couldnt do an alignment because there was no adjustment on the drag bar. Wanted to charge me over $600 to put a new drag bar on which the one on it is only a little over a year old. Sounds to me someone was trying to rip me off.I have bought alot of power tools from them including a zero turn mower, a professional series chainsaw and a very expensive weed eater but I will not be going back. They have lost my business

I started my family camping trip with a bulging tire on the motorhome. I wasnt far from Heinold and Feller and decided to call them via phone. I used them plenty of times in the past and have been always satisfied with their work. Once I had contacted them on the phone they said to come in, that they would be able to help me out. Once I got there (Mark) was amazing. He was able to get my motorhome up on the rack and changed the tires quickly. I went ahead and decided to get all 6 tires changed. I bought my mower from there so when the tire went flat I brought it there to be patched or replace it. I was told 30-45 mins because they were busy so I waited. Finally, after 1 hour and 45 mins my tire came out finished with a patch. Didnt even give me the option to purchase a new one. Disappointed with the communication.

I went in to purchase tires and get an alignment. Since my wifes vehicles tires are a unusual size, I knew it wouldnt be a simple visit.And it wasnt. The crew researched all options and was able to install new tires and do the alignment the the very next day rather than the next week. Next day service at other shops was quoted for hundreds of dollars more.The tires were installed the next day as promised but the real reason they stand out in the crowd was when they performed the alignment, it was in specification. It didnt need a alignment. Other shops would still charge you for the service and take your money. Now thats a shop you can trust!!!! Thats the WOW factor!! Ill recommend them without hesitation.While I was waiting for them to wrap up with my vehicle, I strolled their showroom of tons of lawn and garden equipment. I was in the market for a weed wacker soon but wasnt specificly there for it.The sales crew had exactly what I needed at a incredible low price. Top quality gear, professional grade thats going to last. It also comes with a warranty that exceeds any other manufacturer that I know. Home Depot, Lowes etc. doesnt service equipment and have the know-how like these people.As you can see, I highly recommend!!!!!!

I was very disappointed that no one offered to bring in a tire for a 63 year old disabled woman (not myself, a friend helped me). The price for fixing a flat was outrageous. The average price is $10-20 and I was charged over $33.00. I most certainly will not recommend anyone to take in a tire for plug repair on a flat tire.

Workers were friendly and work was done in a decent amount of time. I rated them three stars because they didn’t call when the tire I ordered arrived and they didn’t fill my new tire to the correct psi.

I am a truck driver. I had a tire that was separating. I called Joe from Terra Haute told him my issue and what I needed done and I would be coming in close to closing time. Joe and his guys made sure that not only was that tire replaced they also change out the other 3 on that axle. This was late on a Friday night and I was leaving on a run out to western Colorado. And yes guy Joe the owner was out there getting his hands dirty with his guys making sure I safe and ready to go.Thank you Joe and your employees.

Great place! Took my American Sportworks Maurader 208cc go-kart from Dunhams here for warranty work. They did it all, no charge. Only slight complaint was the wait time, it took 3 weeks to finish, so id recommend making an appointment rather than just dropping your vehicle off, but other than that great place, nice people.

My family purchased a several thousand dollar lawn mower about 8 weeks ago. The poor service started when the nearly new unit had a failure. I called and the person who answered the phone didn’t introduce themselves and seemed to care less that I was having an issue. When I arrived it was worse. When I arrived, I was ignored while the staff discussed their lunch and the smell of what appeared to be a chapstick or lotion. When I was directed To the lawn mower area, the man I spoke (seemed like a boss/ manager?) with seemed like he couldn’t care less that we had just spent thousands of dollars at his business and was now having an issue. He never looked me in the eye, just sat in his chair at the computer, didn’t take the time to actually learn what was going on (I had to repeat myself 3 times for him to understand the issue and that I had the mower on a trailer outside). When I explained that the person who answered the phone told me I should bring it up he said to the staff “anybody talk to this guy” (still without making eye contact with me). They said no and he continued to punch on the computer setting up the ticket. The only person that showed any kind of concern was the man in the garage that helped me unload it. He asked how I was, asked about the issue and then gave me an idea of what could have caused the issue, actually feeling a little bad that this new machine had a problem. Given the number of malfunctioning machines they have inside their fences, and that they are a week behind (their words), maybe they have so much business that they don’t have to care about individual customers. Words matter, eye contact matters, showing a bit of care and concern matters, especially after spending thousands of dollars with them. They clearly don’t seem to understand the lifetime value of a customer. We will not be going back here. Guess what Heinold & Feller, you’re not the only show in town.

I just bought and had a set of tires installed through Heinold & Feller and it could not have gone any smoother. I did an online quote through their website, they called me the next morning to ask if I wanted to place an order based off my quote, my tires were there next day and were on my Jeep two hours after I dropped it off. The price even ended up being less than what I was quoted. Seriously a great experience all around I’ll be going back for all my tires in the future.

It is difficult to find an honest and trustworthy auto repair facility. We have used Heinold and Feller many times for repairs for both of our vehicles. I can state these individuals are fair and honest. They give you the best options to repair your vehicle within your budget. I highly recommend them if you need of repairs or just general maintenance.

I cannot recommend their lawn and garden service. I took in a 28 snowblower for servicing, was charged dearly for a carburetor rebuild and had to reload it up on my trailer, drive 45 minutes to take it back a second time. When the mechanic tells you just one day after this first servicing; I cant remember if I rebuilt it or not you know something is up. They didnt check the auger fluid (they admitted that) and they didnt lubricate anything. If they would have at least fessed up to this poor service, i can forgive. But what i got was a mechanic saying Joe worked on it not me. Then later saying I did the work. I think I may have paid a lot for a new spark plug. If you do go there, be very diligent about making sure they actually serviced it as you were charged. Get proof.

This place fixed my daughters old car for emissions. Her car wasnt worth much, and they worked to find affordable parts... so the invoice wouldnt exceed the car value! They were very fair, and honest! And she passed emmisions! Youve earned our trust, and now well be back for all of our family vehicles! Thanks!
