Purchased 2021 Forester in December and had the first Service review and maintenance at 6 months. This was scheduled at the time of purchase and I had a follow-up notice to remind me of it. Both experiences are positive in my mind. The purchase was easy and the follow-up service was performed as described and in the time described. Pleasant place to wait, if you choose, and free coffee. They scheduled my next appointment at 12 months and I expect I will be just as pleased. Will recommend this dealership for consideration to friends looking for a car.

The appointment started exactly as scheduled when the problem would have taken at least two days to take care of, Daniel expedited our service getting done the same day since we were in the middle of a 7,000-mile road trip. We love my wifes Subaru, its one of the best cars we have had. We dont feel the same about Tucson Subaru Service Dept. I went with my wife to get the 90 minute pre-booked service done. We arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time. We had a complementary Lyft to the Mall. About 15 minutes after we should have been informed that the car was ready we got a text that the car was with the Technician now and would be another hour. This proved a thorough waste of our time.It is a 45 minute drive for us from East Tucson - why dont you get an East Tucson Service Center - Tucson Subaru?This probably means that despite loving the vehicle we will probably replace it with a vehicle bought from a dealer with closer facilities.

Beware of Express Service claims! Showed up today for an oil change and was informed it would be 3 hours without an appointment. The advisor then checked and said they might be able to get it done in 2 hours but that was the best they could offer. He said that somewhere on their website it says that without an appointment it could take a while. If thats so, its well hidden because I checked again to see if I had been careless in verifying they had Express Service - could find no such disclaimer. Not the Service Im used to with Subaru Express Service dealers. Very disappointing experience.

I took my Forrester in for its 60,000 mile service. I left the vehicle there and got a shuttle ride to work. I picked up the vehicle at the end of the day after a shuttle ride back. Everything was done and they reviewed the list of what they had done and asked if I had questions. All was very professional. The waiting area at Tucson Subaru is very comfortable, friendly and clean. Keep up the great work. My service guy did a great job navigating me through the whole process. Made it easy for me.

Had appointment for the annual service and the fuel pump recall on my 2020 Outback. Got there at 10:45. It would take an hour. I asked for a ride up the street to Dennys. Christian had an Uber driver pick me up and drop me at Dennys. I walked out of Dennys and a Lyft driver asked if I was Greg. Back to the dealership. Hard to believe this kind of service in todays America where nothing runs smoothly.

I know I wanted a Subaru Forester. Did my homework and learned a lot about the vehicle. When I went to the dealer in Tucson, I was lucky to work with CJ. He knew about Subaru Foresters! He went over all the features on a test drive with my wife and I. His knowledge about the vehicle was great. This is my third Subaru that I have purchased new. It is the biggest piece of junk. Not the the dealerships fault I know that. But the dealership Is not up to my standards. Worst mistake of my life. It makes me sick looking at my new car. All they do is lie down at the dealership and all they wanna do is blame everybody and not take any responsibility for their own poor craftsmanship and sloppy work. My car has been in and out of there about 9 times.

Buying a car is one of the things that I really do not like to do. As a first time Subaru buyer Anthony was really patient, answering all of our questions about the different models, features, etc. No pressure, just took us through the process and we now have a great vehicle. Traci in Finance was also highly organized and helpful. Followup with Steve was also a great resource to answer all of our questions after the sale. I highly recommend this dealership.

Couldnt have asked for better service. The automatic lights had been adjusted when my car was in because of a crash situation. They had not been damaged, but adjusted incorrectly. The garage that repaired my car took it to Tucson Subaru as they didnt have the expertise to fix the lights. All it took was an placing the light switch (turn signal lever) in the right place. They figured that out quickly, but made sure it was working correctly by keeping it over night and driving in the dark. I went in with the representative of the garage to pick it up. They were so nice to me--as they always are. They explained the fix and gave me a free car wash. All covered under my warranty. They could not have been better. Im in my 70s and they are the best dealership Ive ever worked with.

This dealership makes great effort in trying to take care of its clients. Waiting areas are clean and a nice perk is the shuttle service or Lyft option when repairs will take most of the day. Staff are very courteous and respectful of you and your time. My only complaint is due to the dealings of a service advisor I had when bringing my car for what should have been warranty work involving the cars eyesight program. My advisor tried his best to convince me I just didnt know how the eyesight worked on the car. It wasnt until I showed him photos of an alert popping up on my dashboard that he finally agreed that that wasnt normal. After technician confirmed a definite malfunction of eyesight system, I was told that due to the car having an aftermarket windshield (rock chip, Safelight installed windshield installed 6 months prior) that in order to proceed with warranty work, I would have to purchase a new Subaru windshield and pay for recalibration, at my expense to a tune of $960. Long story short, I proceeded to contact Subaru of America Corp. and asked them to investigate. Thankfully, Subaru of America paid for a new windshield and recalibration to the dealership. I was also given a new service advisor. After driving the car for a week, it was still giving some, not all, of the false alerts prior to repair, so I wonder if they checked to see if it fixed the issues with the eyesight. Had to bring the car in again (and I came in with photos again, in case I was not believed) and received a call that the dash camera needed replacement. It required 4 trips to the dealership to get the car working properly. My second service advisor has been great. I am also happy about Subaru Corporates efforts in doing the right thing. They have kept in communication to make sure that I am satisfied with the repairs.

Having an extended warranty on my Subaru, I have no choice but to use the only Subaru dealer in Tucson. This is my third time in 18 months for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Nothing else. Despite booking appointments the quickest they have yet managed to do is just over two hours. If you have any option at all use another dealer. Today I booked an appointment for 11 o’clock I arrived five minutes early and two hours later I am still waiting for my car. The service agent told me it would be one hour maybe an hour 20 minutes. After that time he told me another half hour. We have now passed that time and still no car. I don’t know why they have a booking system and schedule appointments, because clearly they don’t have the capacity to honor the appointments they make.They also lie about pricing. On the website the “estimated cost” when I booked my appointment was $55.00. On arrival I was told the approximate cost (oil change and tire rotation) would be $124.00. Not too close to the estimate is it

This Subaru branch in specific rebuilt the entire engine on my 2013 wrx due to a recall causing catastrophic engine failure. 9 months later the engine ended up with a bent cam shaft due to an internal part not being completely tightened when Subaru rebuilt it. The service manager himself said they would not stand behind their work and cover the damage their spotty engine rebuild caused. He said because I bought the car 6 months ago and the rack and power steering pump was replaced by a different certified shop they would not cover the damage their work caused. How steering parts being replaced (nothing to do with the engine) and the car changing owners means they dont stand behind their work blows my mind. Looking up the experiences others have had at this dealership I cant believe the response they gave me. These are all issues caused directly by Subaru design and this Subaru dealerships repair work. Makes me want to avoid all Subaru vehicles in the future. I hope they treat future unsatisfied customers with more integrity.-re:95000 a little over 6000 miles later. Only work done on it since your rebuild was a rack and pinion by a certified shop.... I did try to bring it there and was told since it was a different owner you would not do anything to correct it without completely paying all repair costs myself.You assuming it could not happen that much later after your rebuild is exactly that, an assumption. The bolt did come loose and did cause damage and your shop was the last one to touch it. That is all it took for you to completely write off myself and this car. I cant believe Subaru as a whole would be okay with your response when I reached out to you or your reply on this honest review. Stand behind your work not your small print, it will get you a lot farther and might make this shop seem dependable like you state it is. Also please dont apologize for something completely in your power to fix/control. Comes over as just insincere.

Found a leak and took my car in to Subaru. It’s five years old so out of warranty and I was expecting a big bill. Turns out that the leak was from the steering rack and they replaced it the next day and covered the cost other than the deductible. Saved me over $1000. Extraordinary customer service by both the Sales team (Joe) and finance team (Curt). Ive had issues at other dealerships where they see my age (early 20s) and dont care or put effort in a sale because they dont think or assume I cant afford a $31k car. Joe was amazing from the get go. Hopped into the car I wanted and one I wasnt even looking at and fell in love with the outback. Went on a nice test drive and Joe was amazing the entire time. The service department needs a lot of work, compared to the 5 star care I’ve gotten at the dealership where I bought 4 previous subaru’s. I own the top of the line Ascent for a reason- I am handicapped. Every time I call for an appointment I remind them of this, yet they always try to give me a Crosstrek to use. I CAN NOT GET IN AND OUT OF IT!! I bought the Ascent for a reason ! Also why can’t I get any information about what’s happening with my car unless its from the person who checked it in! Very frustrating when you live over an hour away. The interesting thing is, its the same issue in Phoenix where my sister takes her Forester - Need to do some digging but I bet they are owned by same person. I suggest sending some people to Williams Subaru in Lansing, MI to learn how to actually treat a handicapped customer correctly. If this happens again, I will file an ADA violation with the Justice Department. I know how its supposed to be and they cant live up to it - even when the car was purchased from them.

While it may have good safety record, the design of the deep bucket seat was painfully uncomfortable. With the deep bucket the seatbelt holder pressed deeply into the hip with no way to relieve the pressure. I am 58 and weigh 156. I am not a large woman.

I just moved to Tucson in late February and was needing a 75k service. I typically do not patronize dealerships for service due to many bad experiences in my previous state. I was surprised to see there were not many options in the Tucson area for independent auto service. So with that said, I ended up getting a recall notice on my Subaru which was a forcing function to make an appointment for both the service and recall which I was dreading. I went on line and made an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised the website actually worked in scheduling my appointment. WELL, much to my surprise I was totally blown away by the service department in how efficient and knowledgeable they were about me a new customer! They had all my information ready and my check in was a breeze. I was actually treated like I had been going there for years. The staff and shuttle service are the best to work with in terms of being informed and making sure I was not left in the dark about my ride to and from home and the status of my vehicle. To say I was a very happy customer is an understatement since I will now use this dealership service department for all my vehicle future needs. Very Happy Camper!

I bought a Crosstrek from this dealership last year and had an amazing experience. The staff was great and they never tried to pressure me into buying extra stuff I didnt want or need. I also had a great experience when I came in for my first round of scheduled maintenance. If I ended the review here it would be 5 stars, but then I bought a set of crossbars from them. The crossbars cost $200, but when I asked how much it would cost for them to install them for me they told me the installation would be $388, so $588 total. My boyfriend and I looked up how to install the crossbars and it looked really simple, so I called back the next day to see if maybe they hadnt understood what I had wanted them to install, but I got quoted $388 again for the install. My boyfriend offered to install them for me and it took him 15 minutes. He literally just had to tighten 4 screws and it came with the screw driver and instructions. This dealership basically wanted to charge me $1500/hour to do work that any able-bodied person with a 6th grade reading comprehension could do. If Im paying that much my car better be able to fly when I get it back.TL:DR Sales team was great, service center tried to rip me off.

The waiting area is clean and welcoming. I would recommend Tucson Subaru for service. Im sure if there service department is this good, purchasing or leasing a vehicle would also be.

Definition of stealership. We took my spouses car in for a warranty issue and was given a list of nearly 10k in needed repairs found during their free inspection. At the top of the list was a recommendation to fix failed head gaskets. We ended up seeking a second opinion from an engine repair specialist who completed a leak test and found no evidence of leaking head gaskets and could only point to a single issue on the service recommendation which might need to be addressed sometime in the future as it was very minor. If your receive any repair recommendations, I highly suggest you get a 2nd opinion before wasting your money on possibly unneeded repairs suggested by the service department here.

We were driving from Colorado to Arizona when we lost the transmission on my 09 Impreza. Stranded in New Mexico. Called the dealership and reached the amazing service advisor Jade. She immediately offered a free rental and able to get us in immediately. Even with thanksgiving week she was able to get a new transmission in and installed and fix a few other minor issues we had with her within the week. Allowing me to make it home in time for my next cancer surgery. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate Jade and the mechanics who busted their butts to help us out. When I am ready to buy my next Subaru I will come all the way to Arizona just to work with this dealership and the people there. (It will be my third Subaru)

The customer service at Tucson Subaru is top notch. The service team and the rest of the staff cannot seen to do enough to make a visit there a pleasant experience. Everyone is very friendly and polite. They explained what was done to my 2020 Forrester and the whole process was completed in the promised timeframe. We are very pleased with our first Subaru and Tucson Subaru.

I just wanted to tell everyone that my experience at Tucson Subaru was great! I could not have asked for a better salesperson (Robert) and he helped me get into my dream-car, a silver WRX. He was professional, very nice and well informed. They let me take it out for a drive alone (COVID-times) which I appreciated. Thank you especially Robert and the rest of the staff at Tucson Subaru. I will always get my cars there.
