I like to support a local own business that is reliable, professional, good quality with good value. The service cost is very reasonable compares to others. I used to pay more but not good. They care about the customers as they care their cars, and especially they care about public health. I felt very comfortable to be there as every staff wears a mask while they engaged with their customers. Unlike some other shops, they dont really care about this matter. It’s a relief when you feel like you can take your car to a repair shop and not worry that you’ll be overcharged or pay for services that really weren’t needed. I have used Micro at least 10 times now from minor service to fairly large fixes ~$2K). They recently solved an annoying low frequency cyclic sound emanating from somewhere in the rear of the vehicle. I have heard it essentially since we bought the 2017 car used a couple years ago. During the 60K service Micro called me to tell me I had a severely worn wheel bearing assy that should be addressed ASAP. Turns out that solved my annoying noise issue as well!

I highly recommend these guys. They were professional, knowledgeable, and kind dealing with my other halfs Subaru. We wont go anywhere else. I spoke mainly with Tim, hes fantastic.

I havent been back in Tucson in years, after evacuating my new home in New Orleans I came back to Tucson to be with family and was very keen to have the experts at Micro Import Service look over my BRZ and address any issues. simply put that are the best and I dont trust anyone more to give an honest assessment of what was needed and an expert level of service in a timely manner. after having tried and failed to find anyone close to a good as they are in new orleans it was a relief and a pleasure to have them service my BRZ before I drove it back across country. you will not find better.

The work is well done and competitively priced.On this visit my Prius needed maintenance and a general check up after minimal use in 2020-spring 2021. I came in on senior discount day and used a credit for referring a friend which helped the bottom line.Highly recommended.

I took my car to another local shop for a post-purchase inspection. The folks at this first shop said my car (a 2017 Subaru with 62k miles on it) needed almost $3000 worth of work and basically a replacement of most of the suspension.Feeling a little suspicious of this quote, I called Tim at Micro Imports and asked for a second opinion. Tim and his team had a look at my vehicle and told me which parts of the suspension needed to be replaced - and about how long I could get away with not doing the job.I will be able to get the car serviced under warranty at the dealership where I purchased the car, but Micro Imports has made a customer for life. My a/c was not cooling well. Took car in at 8:00 a.m. & it was ready early afternoon. It was down to .4# of freon from 1.2#. They drained it, replaced the freon, added dye to check for leaks (no leaks found) & called me to pick it up. Even found a discount for me on the August mailer I hadnt received yet!

If you want your car fixed right the first time, then bring it to Micro. If you want the best customer service that mechanic shops have to offer then go to Micro. I cant say enough good things about these guys! They helped me out tremendously when my tire literally fell off. They went out of their way to help me even though I brought them my car in a less than desirable fashion. They never treated me poorly or looked down on me for it, they just got straight to work on getting me back on the road. Since then Ive revisited to start getting some of the other work I need done. Best car repair shop Ive ever experienced! I drove 15 hours down from Vail, CO to visit my parents in Tucson. The day I planned to leave, my check engine light came on. The car needed to be fixed and I needed to get back to work. Alan, at Micro Imports understood my predicament and despite the shop fully booked, he found a way to squeeze me in.Turns out there was a lot more wrong with my car than I thought and I was very lucky to have caught it early. I wont get into the details, but all of the repairs needed were typical of a 1999 Subaru with 140k miles. Alex, the Master Technician was very thorough in his inspection and was able to explain everything in words I understood. I had to call back twice to ask for clarification and neither Alex or Alan ever made me feel as though I was bothering them.Alan worked with Alex to determine the minimal amount of work that had to be done to safely get me back to Colorado. Living in the mountains 2 hours outside of Denver, it is extremely difficult to find a trusted car repair shop. Every repair shop I have been to makes me feel relieved when I pick up the car, but a part of me feels like they messed something else up accidentally or on purpose. When I try to clarify repairs I dont understand, they make me feel like I have inconvenienced them as they explain it to me. I dont want to take my car anywhere else except Micro Imports. Time and care was given. I never felt rushed or cheated. It doesnt hurt that they offer a 24k/2yr guarantee on their work. I dont even have to go back to Tucson, they would find a shop in Colorado. They sent me a nice card with some coupons in it for the icing on the cake. Look no further, honest car repair experts do exist!

Just do it!Long Version: Imagine you are 1000 miles into a 3500+ mile adventure to Baja Norte for the winter. Most of your possessions are loaded up in your old and reliable Toyota and then the leak starts. Its a drop or two in Oklahoma City but turns into a much bigger leak by the time you reach Tucson. Enter Micro Import Services.SPEED-These guys got me in the same day that I called, finished the work of replacing two seals on my engine and transmission and my clutch in record time and had us back on the road within 24 hours of calling.COST-Repairs on import vehicles arent normally cheap, but a lot of shops will gouge because they know there arent a ton of repair options. Micro Import SVC charged a fair price for repairs and had quality parts in stock. The included warranty that is associated with their shop CO-OP is super nice too as we will likely not be back in Tucson for a while.CONVENIENCE-They are conveniently located in Tucson and we were able to walk from our hotel to their shop. The staff is super friendly and Alan kept us updated on the status of our truck through the entire process.Our truck is running great with no leaks! Overall, we had a great experience with Micro Import SVC and if we ever need work in AZ again, we will come back!

Alan was friendly and professional. The waiting area is comfortable and nicely decorated. I left my Scion for its 40k check-up. A ride was provided back to my residence. When I collected my car later, Alan explained what had been checked, and also informed me regarding items that would need to be checked later again. I appreciate the time that he took to explain everything to me. This was my first visit and it was 5 star. I am planning to return to Micro Import Service again soon and will post another post if I find that a 5 star rating is not valid anymore.BTW: Someone even set my clock to the correct time! Great place! Their customer service is wonderful. They do an exceptionally good job at keeping you updated and informed about any possible work that needs to be done. I came to them after feeling uncertain about another shops recommended work on my truck. The Micro Import Service team was able to clarify what work actually needed to be done by being straight with me, which saved me a lot of money in the end. Highly recommend them! Ill definitely be coming back.

Micro Import is so thorough, that their vehicle inspection found a problem with my windshield washer that I had forgotten to mention. They thoroughly updated my 2011 Subaru Forester so I can drive it u to 100,000 miles. This shop is so good at what they do, Ill never go anywhere else.

I could not have been any happier with my experience at Micro Import Service. I have a shop that I love and have used religiously, but when I bought a new to me (but old) Subaru, I wanted to make sure that the people caring for it were experts. And experts they are! My goal was to have my car looked over so that I could handle any issues before they became dangerous. Micro did just that, and it wasn’t a run of the mill 20 point inspection or what have you from a chain, they noticed minor and major things but not for the purpose of charging me more, some of the items were trivial but important to note and I am so grateful that they were so thorough. The list of needs was decent for a car that had no known service records, but Micro didn’t make me feel overwhelmed. Instead the presented an idea of what was most important and helped me decide based on my current budget. I wasn’t made to feel like an annoyance or hindrance when I called back twice for clarification, and the work was performed in the time frame set at the quoted price. I feel comfortable and safe driving the car now, and have an idea of future work needed as well as the anticipated costs so that I can budget for it. On top of all of the important stuff, the lobby is absolutely beautiful and I wish I had spent more time in it! They also offer a shuttle service so that you don’t have to have someone pick you up. I am so grateful to have found this shop and highly recommend that anyone come here, whether you have a brand new car or one that is almost 20. Hands down the best.

Alan and his staff are superior service! It nice to be able to say I have a guy for that. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, not just about imports but most cars! They have the shop separate from the office, which is a comfortable little house. They even give away flowers on Friday! They are excellent down to the smallest touches! You should at least give them a try!

I could not be more pleased with Micro Imports quality and professionalism! They were ready for my appointment and actually listened while I described my brake problem. In addition, they performed a courtesy inspection, and informed me of upcoming items to watch. Also, the charge for all work performed was very reasonable (plus they did a test drive before releasing my Camry). Give them a visit, and I believe youll discover why they receive such high ratings.

I have relied on Micro for many years to keep an older Toyota van and a more recent Nissan sedan running dependably. I have never had anything but the best experience. The people at Micro are pros and tell it like it is. You might find a lower price at another shop, but it wont be much lower, and the Micro price will be the true bargain in the end.

They were honest, fast, knowledgeable and had excellent customer service skills. They try to find discounts to bring down the rates and have a contract with Uber if they need to keep the vehicle overnight. These guys are well set up and genuinely care about providing high quality work. I was impressed and would go again.

This place is amazing! I almost didnt buy a used Hyundai because I felt the price was suspiciously low and figured something had to be wrong. Brought it in to these guys (because they were so highly rated) for a pre-purchase inspection (which was cheaper than the two other places I was looking at), waited in their incredibly comfy waiting room, and in about an hour they informed me that they car was actually in great condition, except for needing new tires. The inspection covered everything and they explained it all to me in detail, which was fantastic because I honestly dont know much about cars.With the information they gave me, not only did I get an amazing car, but I was also able to confidently convince the dealership to get me new tires and replace my spare tire kit (the only two things that needed work). Definitely recommend going here and I plan to come back.

Micro Import always does great work for me! Its usually completed the same day unless its complex or theres a problem with parts availability. Staff is friendly and courteous. Communication is timely when the car is finished. Courtesy rides are provided when requested, and are usually available within a few minutes.

Since I found micro import service a few years ago, I dont take my cars anywhere else. They are super fair with their prices and always do quality work.

I came here for the Pre-Buy Inspection on a car I was looking into. The inspection was very reasonably and in depth. I was provided with many pages of itemized checklists with notes and diagrams including alignment. I left feeling confident to purchase the car. I highly recommend this service and the employees are warm and friendly.

This is my fourth decade with Micro and I leave every time so very appreciative of their service. Every single person goes above and beyond and when Howard gives his approval, I drive out feeling as though every thing has been take care of. This business is one of Tucsons best. Mich also uses the apprentice ship program which emphasizes education and hands on practice. As a country, we have not embraced that model but we should. Thank you Micro!

I have been to several mechanics in Tucson and every time I’ve gone to one I always feel as though they are just looking to make a buck and treat you with no care or respect. I recently went to Micro Import Service for a pre purchase inspection and I was astounded with the level of customer service they provide. Up to my visit with Micro Import Service, I did not believe that a decent and honest mechanic existed. I will definitely be taking my service back there to receive honest opinions and quality work.

They care about their customers. They take pride in doing good work and service.Jobs are done on time, great warranty on work- 3 years for my rack and pinion repair.

The staff is pleasant, they seem to do pretty good work, and in a fairly timely manner.However, It seems they are a bit over-priced. I got the motor replaced in my car door that automatically rolls up the window....about a $30 part, and somewhere around 2-3 hours of work? My cost was $323.Im no business major, but to compare...I had a brake power booster replaced in the same car a couple months prior. In that case, the part was probably around $120 and the labor was 4+ hours. That job cost $450. Proportionally speaking, it just doesnt seem to quite add up in my opinion.Unsure if I would return here, maybe if I had a coupon...

Alan treated me with respect that is hard to find when you are a woman at a car shop, and actually explained to me each of the things that were wrong with my car and why it was important to fix them, instead of just handing me a bill and telling me that I wasnt going to make it if I did not get the repairs done (which has happened to me previously). The new team at MIS is incredibly friendly and considerate, and I will not forget their kindness and support of me when I was making an 1800 mile trip. Excellent job and service. Staff was friendly and stuck to the quote they gave me for a headlight replacement even though it ended up being more labor than the quote reflected. I will be using Micro for both my Subaru and Toyota and am confident that I have found my future car shop.

Recommenced and thoughtful, informed customer service. Nice well meaning people. Their computer diagnostics were reasonable to cheaper than most other companies who must use computer diagnostics. However my issue with both headlights being glitched was not taken care of. My only issue was the fact that they informed me that my self-ballasted fluorescent LED headlight bulbs would cost in upwards of a couple hundred dollars apiece with another couple of hundred dollars in labor. No other suggestions. My cars owner manual recommends $10 Halogen bulbs which I can replace in a short time myself. The super expensive bulbs should have been made evident to me before I had to research this issue on my own time. I will certainly use this companies service again and will recommend it in the future, but some issues still need improvement, as mentioned above, in my particular situation.

I have a 2017 Highlander Hybrid. Needed a 50k service (oil change & inspection.) Very professional. Recognizes and positively responds to customers concerns about social distancing in the age of Covid 19.

This independent shop is THE place to go for your car maintenance and repairs. Both Tim and Alan working the front are excellent. If you need a ride to/from the shop they use a ride share service. This is something that I greatly appreciate and use regularly.

I came to Tucson for a work trip and purchased a Subaru while I was there. It needed some routine maintenance done on it. The guys had no problem helping me set a date to come back when the parts were in so they could work on it, it only took them a day to do the timing belt and water pump!!! After I picked the car up from them and started driving home it started to overheat, I called the guys at micro and they did not even hesitate to send out a tow truck and take the car back to the shop free of charge!!! They looked over everything for me to figure out why, come to find out I needed a new radiator cap! They replaced both caps for me for free!!! I wish these guys were available for me in Utah because I would take all of my vehicles to them!

If I could give six stars, I would. My experience with this shop was great. I found this shop after doing a rigorous search online for a shop better than Precision Honda. I called Micro Import the day I found them, and was pleased to talk to someone who was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable.Just for some background, I had Precision Honda inspect my brakes after I noticed that my front brakes were a bit loud (not catastrophically loud, mind you). They told me that I only had 1 mm of brake pad left on all of my brakes (front and back), and that there was no way my rotors couldnt be machined and had to be replaced, despite the fact that they had never been machined during the life of the car. I called BS and left. As an aside, I noticed that my front brakes were a lot louder after Precision had put everything back on.When I got into Micro Import, I was greated with a smile and a welcoming environment. I had some questions about the service they were going to do, and they answered them very well. I rode my bike to work from there, and got two calls that morning/afternoon. One to tell me about the FULL inspection they did on my car, which was extremely useful as they let me know about some other things I need to get fixed on my car. Additionally, they let me know that there were 2-3 mm of brake pad left on my front brakes (double what Precision had told me), that my back brakes were just fine, and that my rotors were totally machinable. The second call was to tell me that everything had gone smoothly. I spoke with one of their mechanics both times, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable.I rode my bike back after work, and found that my car looked noticeably cleaner, which was nice. I sat down with Alan, and he answered any other questions I had about the service they had done without complaint. Alan even gave me a discount (so $318 instead of $325), and gave em a goodie bag on the way out.Suffice it to say: I will be going back to Micro Import Service the next time I need something done on my car. Ill even get a chance to use the $10 off coupon that came in my goodie bag :). In the words of the great Stan Lee, nuff said.

Best customer service in the industry!

This was the best experience in my life because I just moved to Tucson and I was referred to Micro Import Service because I always know it is important to have good mechanics on top of all up coming services on ones auto. This company did my oil change free of charge for a referral, went online to Auto Fax and checked out all the services I had on my Honda to date, and most importantly informed me of when and at what milage other services were recommended. No other Automotive Repair shop has ever gone this distance for me and I really appreciated the time they took with me and the service they did on my Honda. They even fixed the milage indicator that lets one know when it is time for an oil change is due which the people at the Honda Company in California broke when fixing one of the recall issues my 2010 Honda had with the passenger air bags. What a joy to start my car up and not see this issue broken anymore. I dont think we find many people around in this world that go out of their way to do what men did for me yesterday at Micro Import Service. They went way beyond what I ever expected and brought me great joy for my day. Wonderful people and they have a customer for life with me and if you are smart you will bring your automobile to these experts!!

I live two blocks away from Micro Imports so I am thrilled to not only get service closeby but also to get thorough and caring service as part of the neighborhood convenience. I have relied on Micro Imports for repairs over many years and twice I have walked down to their shop and let them know that my battery was dead and they sent someone back with me to jumpstart the car and then replaced the battery in a short amount of time. In fact, in addition to the great customer service, Micro Imports also does everything within its power to get my car back to me the same day. Quality service quickly. I also like that Micro Imports is participating in the high school automotive program and training young people on automotive mechanics.

Wow!! I have not been to Micro since the 90s with my 1984 300ZX. Now I have a 1996 300ZX and needed to come back to Micro. The shop is now separate from the office. Very nice office area!! And the guys, Tim and Alan, are very personable! I even got to meet Mic, the owner!! Looking forward to meeting Howard, the mechanic, who really did alot of important work on my Z. The guys arrange an Uber driver to take you home and pick you up. That was a good ride both ways. My Green Machine is purring away - Great work - and they kept me informed the whole time. They pre-warned me they needed the car for about 3 hours because their inspection process is so thorough. They finished the inspection on schedule and called me back on time and as promised. I will absolutely be bringing my car back to this garage from everything from an oil change to a complete engine rebuild. Their customer service is unparalleled. Coupled with their knowledgable, polite, and courteous nature, this garage is one in a million. I was never patronized about my vehicle and I was given updates frequently and always asked if the next step was okay to move to with a price always upfront. I would recommend this shop to absolutely everyone.

Made an appointment for my wifes Acura MDX. Requested an oil change and comprehensive inspection of the overall vehicle condition. They discovered the rear wheels were out of alignment. They called to inform me of this and made the necessary adjustments. The car now drives better than ever. The car was ready for pick- up as promised.
