They do good work and are honest with fair prices. Ive been there for major work and a coolant change. I didnt have an appt, no appointment on Saturdays, so it took a few hours waiting but worth waiting.

Just dropped off my Chevrolet suburban because brake light and ABS light keep coming on and staying on. The front desk attendants were professional and courteous. I will update this review when I pick up my vehicle.

On the basis of customer service alone, Brake Masters gets 5*. The gentleman at the front desk worked hard to accommodate a customer speaking Mandarin only. Went above and beyond to communicate using a translator on his own phone. Customer left happy. First of All, the Facilities is Amazing. It was refreshing to see How After Covid, the Staff was busy and yet were very attentive and delivered on Time my Requested Service. Most Wonderful.

The team at #102 fit me in at the end of the day to replace my rear rotors and pads. I called 3 hours earlier, they scheduled me despite high business traffic, and stayed late on a Memorial Day weekend to get me done. Great team and honestly good service, what more could you ask for!

Had to stop by and make sure i give this business an amazing review. I had an issue with my car that i was aware of but stopped by just to get a quick oil change, during that time period the staff noticed that my engine mounts were broken and not screwed in correctly. They offered to help me out and i even told them a previous company let me go out on the road like that. They offered to help knowing that putting me back on the road was a risk. I now ended up doing all the repairs with them at a phenomenal price. I would to thank you all for helping me out, I’d recommend this business to anyone.

I wanted to come on here and update my review, because within hours of posting this the store manager of this location did reach out to me and wanted to hear me out about my concern. He was very helpful with my issues and apologized for the communication issues I have had the past three times I was in the shop. It was very respectful of him to contact me and work out the professionalism issues I had with his front desk employees. I really appreciated the quick resolution.---------Previous review:Consistently have had bad personal communication with the employees at this location. They interrupt me while on the phone or in person and have been flat out sexist. I used to go to the location on Ina where I never had any issues like this and was in fact treated very friendly.

This office is ran so professionally and efficiently! I have had my oil changed here multiple times and they are always polite. As a young female it can be frustrating to find a good car shop to trust with your vehicle. I would give this place a 10/10!

I’m giving this location 1 star because of how they handled my vehicle. I got a valve adjustment and they also replaced the timing belt. They next day my van started making noises I did not hear before hand. I looked under my hood and I noticed they had taped a hose that cracked with black electrical tape (the hose was connected to the engine). The noise that I was hearing when I started the vehicle was due to them not connecting everything right. I took the vehicle back to break masters and they did a pressure test and they fixed the issue and replaced the hose. One thing that kind of upset me was when they were replacing the hose they stated that the hose they were putting on there was better than the original hose which was BS because it was just regular hosing. I believe they think just because I’m a female I don’t know anything! I wouldn’t recommend this place especially for those that don’t know much about vehicles. Daniel was awesome but just how they handled my vehicle was disappointing.

This location is excellent, and I’ve patronizing this location for several years. Daniel and Alonso are the best mechanics in Tucson. The staff explain all repairs, in detail, and are exceedingly transparent. They’re up front about their diagnostic fee (which is quite reasonable) and they keep you apprised of which repairs are needed, and which repairs can wait. The newly renovated facility is comfortable and accessible. Overall, this location is an exemplary business — courteous, honest, reasonably-priced, and diligent. I fully endorse this business.

The last few times we used Brake Maters they tried to over sell and one item they sold to us was three times as expensive as any other place. We make appointment to get services done and they run anywhere from 45 mion-90 minutes late. They do not try to call or make an effort to get you through the appointment. I must admit, I am disappointed on how they handle things and how they take advantage of women and overselling high priced items.

Truly a surprisingly pleasant vehicle repair one-stop-shop. I feel better on the road knowing that I can go to Brake Masters for any vehicle malfunctions I have. Although I am a Brake Masters fan for life... I am an even bigger Brake Masters: Store 102 fan for life because of Daniel T. Just want to give a shout out to Daniel, Esaias, and Alonso along with mechanic that worked on my vehicle. I had a door in which the locking mechanism was not working. Over a day and a half they bent over backwards to try and help resolve the problem that included having a part flown in from out of state. Unfortunately, and due to a time crunch I was working under, they were unable to fix the problem. However, they were upfront and worked honestly with me through the process which I highly appreciated. Told them that the next time I was in town I would definitely look them up for their advice and to have them work on my vehicle. Thanks guys!!!

They just want your money, and will take full advantage of a customer that doesnt fully understand cars. If you provide them with an alternative phone number, they will not call it. Go to ramons automotive on 4th Avenue, better customer service, and more flexible.

Short story: They will not do all the work, but they will take your money!Longer story: I had just replaced several suspension parts in my SUV (control arms, ball joints, sway links, and bushings - yes, a woman, by myself), but I couldnt break the tie rod ends free. I called and they were willing to use my outside parts, so I took it over to have them replaced and to get an alignment.Dropped it off, and 3 hours later they called me back.They replaced the tie rod ends, and told me that the alignment was only slightly off (a little toe). Red flag! I just changed suspension parts and looked like I was murdering the car with a sledgehammer at times. So I asked for the alignment printout. The printer was broken.Backstory: printer was suspiciously broken 2 years prior when I had an alignment on my Civic. I suspected they didnt actually do the alignment then because the steering was crooked and it pulled to one side with new tires.So I called them out. They put my SUV on the alignment machine to prove they did it and most of the screen was yellow. To get to the point. They didnt do the alignment and they lied about it. I sat there an additional 45mins while they actually did it. I then verified that the screen was all green before leaving.I wont be back. There are plenty of reputable and trustworthy shops in Tucson.

These guys are great. Honest, reasonable pricing. They are slower than they say theyll be, but thats faster than most places are, normally. Its because theyre super busy, something I attribute to them having so many happy, repeat customers. Youre in good hands with these guys.

I have been going there for years when they had the little shop. Now that new building is up its new employees and some of former employees. I caught one employee in a lie in discussing my oil change and noticed that I DONT have to use synthetic. They will sell it to you as if your car wont run without it. When manager Alofonso was told about the situation he arrogantly said if it messes up there is no warranty and walks away. It comes to show how humans change when things get better. Dont change for no one or nothing.

Id like to thank the store manager Mr. Daniel Thomas for exceptional customer service. Although my problem was with a damaged tire he was able to help me located a tire shop and called to see it they had the tire I needed. As a single woman, I dread car problems that usually lead me to car repair places that overcharge me. They know I need my car fixed and they know I have no idea what needs to be fixed. Going to the Breakmasters by Broadway and Kilo in Tucson was such a breath of fresh air. The experts there explained everything and even offered to put in parts I ordered for free. I could not have had a better experience. I recommend that you check them out.

This is my second feedback for this store of brakemasters. The first time I came to get my cars front shruts replaced and it was a great experience.This was a long due replacements of the engine mounts of my car. Unfortunately, due to wear and tear, two of the mounts had worn out and so had the bottom bracket supporting the engine/transmission components. While other auto mechanics typically give an earliest appointment of around a week, brakemasters, it is drop in appointments mostly even if they r super busy. They are super nice, genuine with assessments (dont over price you or do synthetic replacements when not required), and are reasonably priced compared to most other popular automobile services (franchises) like theirs.In addition to getting the mount fixed, they also worked on identifying an annoying metallic vibrating noise, and ingenously fixed it, for FREE. A big shoutout to Daniel, Alonso and the mechanic crew for their amazing work ethics and customer support. They also allow you near your car and actually show you what part has worn out and what needs replacement which is amazing, while most other mechanics cite customer safety to be all black-box about the tasks.I just wish Brakemasters opens up in Kansas soon!!

I have taken several cars here, all with good results. This particular Brake Masters is right around the corner from me and across the street from safeway, so you can get an oil change and do your grocery shopping while you wait. Always professional, theyve gone out of their way several times to fix things that they dont usually fix (like rear view mirrors). Only drawback is they dont always call you during the day for a status on things, or when its ready to pick up. Ive had to call them back myself to get the status a number of times.

After coming in for an alignment on my Jeep (less than a year old) I was told that I needed 4 new struts and they wouldnt do they alignment without it. Naturally skeptical due to the age and mileage of the vehicle, I asked the mechanical who pulled my car off the lift to show me which struts were bad. His reply was I dont know what struts are bad and quickly walked off. That does not convey any confidence or professionalism to your customer base.That weekend I pulled the wheels off and looked at the struts myself, and they were in like-new condition, no leaks or anything. I took my vehicle to another garage that did the alignment and they concurred with my opinion. I wouldnt trust this shop to wash my windshield. Very disappointed.

Awesome little mechanic shop with great staff and an old school vibe to it. Right across the street from a Safeway and a Starbucks if you want to drop your car off and can stand the Tucson heat for a short walk.

I came here for an oil change, and afterwards my car was leaking oil. Whoever did the oil change forgot to put the oil cap back on, and there was oil all over under the hood. I brought it back, and they cleaned it and gave me a coupon for a free oil change next time. Later that night, my check engine light turned on and the engine was shaking. I took it to a different mechanic this morning, and they said the engine was still very dirty and the spark plugs were wet and needed to be replaced. $140 to fix the mistake from a $40 oil change. Needless to say, I will not be coming back for that free oil change.

These retards tried to tell me I needed a camber kit on my stock height pilot after over 3 hrs. J and dukes set my toe in 10 mins for 40 dolllars. Dont trust there upselling bastards

I just left brake masters on Broadway and Campbell and am furious. I called in advance and asked about just getting my rotors turned and was given a price over the phone. $18 per axel. And I thought for a simple job that seems alittle pricey but the man on the phone said he could get me right in and the location is walking distance from my house so I took it in. As soon as I dropped it off I told the gentlemen who filled out my invoice (with no price on it) that I was sure it was just the rotors that needed turning. He replied yeah no problem we will call you before we do anything with the price. 2 hours later, never heard from him. I called and he said oh yeah were just finishing up. 45 minutes later he calls and says the vehicle is ready. Go there he hands me an invoice with $145 at the bottom line. I told him I paid $125 for all four brand new rotors less than a year ago and he was out of his mind if he thinks he is hosing me with that amount. He said he quoted me at $68 an axel. Which he and I both knew was a lie. After a screaming match insued I left paying $65 dollars which was still a screw job. I will never go there again. Be aware of this place. Dont let them touch your car with out a price you agree on and better yet dont even get with in a mile of this shop. Horrible experience, horrible customer service, deceitful and manipulative sales associates.THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS

Be sure to get a price in writing and not a verbal quote. I was told the price for a front brake pads and rotors turned and added a bleeding lines for an extra $59 for a total of $159 with the coupon on the website. When it came time to pay the price was $248.75 .I asked about the 159 quoted and he said something about it was 59 more and that was what he quoted.

To say the least @ this moment, I wouldn’t recommend this place to a divorced woman, who doesn’t have a man to make a stand on her behalf.

3 hour wait for nothing! Was told around 45 minutes for a break inspection. 3 hours later my car isnt even out of the parking lot. Just tell me its going to be a very long wait and Ill plan accordingly.
