John is extremely professional, honest and the repairs are very reasonably priced. The work was completed very quickly and he stands behind his work. In a world where auto repairs can be hit or miss, Master Auto has always been a hit. Never had an issue or problem. Id recommend them to anyone and have been using them for over ten years. And with five kids and seven cars, we have counted on them quite a bit.

I think this used to be a good family owned shop, but my last 3 visits I have been disappointed.They have either not done requested service, or missed things, went in for oil change and happened to have a low tire light on, not only was it not noted on the inspection but they didnt even air up the tire.Im looking for a new place to get my vehicles serviced.

Ive had them work on several of my vehicles over the past 25 years. They have always been very straight forward on cost and how long the repairs would take.When Ive asked for a cheaper option they would tell me that too, and or how I might be able to fix what I absolutely needed right now and the rest when I could afford it.

Ive taken my cars there several times and he has always called me to explain what was needed AND how much it run before he worked on it. If I wanted him to go ahead, he did. If I told him Id take care of it myself (like when my battery was dead and I knew COSTCO could replace it), he was totally fine with that. Great experience all around!

Very genuine quote for the parts and sevice...We used to take our car to the authorized service center for every issue. We tried going through the google ratings of each alternative service centers around, we luckily found very genuine ratings for Master auto service. We got free checkup for engine and a very decent quote for parts and repair. We got it fixed immediately and we are so happy with their Good work.

My young daughter just moved to the area and had car issues. They told her they would have to change the starter before even diagnosing the initial problem. This seemed fishy, especially since the car was trying to start before she took it in. We asked if they had ran codes to diagnose this problem. They had not. We payed to have it towed to another shop and it was a battery issue, and the fuse for the starter had been moved. Very upset that they would try to take advantage of a young girl from out of state.

I have been going to Master Auto for 25 years. They have always done an excellent job servicing my cars. I appreciate the fact that I can trust them to honestly recommend only what needs to be done.

Master Auto is the best, they are always honest. I was having an issue with my blinker not working all the time, I took my car to several places that told me that it was an electrical issue and it would take $75.00 an hour to find the problem. I then had another issue with my car and took it to Master Auto and asked if he could check on the blinker issue also. He called to let me know it was a $10 part and that there would be no labor that they would just put it on while they were completing the other work. Since then I always take my cars there as does my whole family and we are always extremely satisfied with their work and amazed at their honesty.

I went to this place for a second opinion, because the first place I went to wanted to charge around $2000 even though the only thing I went in for was a rattle in the front left tire while going over bumps. I had John and his crew inspect my shocks/struts, tires and brakes. The only thing wrong with my car was loose/broken brake hardware. Everything else was fine, and the other shop I went to said all of this stuff was bad. So I ended up paying $60 instead of over $2000. I have been looking for a shop like this for the last 8 years! They are EXTREMELY HONEST and will absolutely not sell you something that you do not need! I will go to MASTER AUTO SERVICE IN TROY, MI. forever! You will not find a shop more honest anywhere, trust me! I will be sending everyone I can to this place! Thanks so much John and the whole crew and MASTER AUTO SERVICE!

Dropped off my car for over-heating every time I drove for more than 20 min. he replaced my fan clutch and told me it was over heating within .5 mile and that radiator needed replacing. I took the car back and checked it myself. It had no coolant.. I had to add two gallons. I have no coolant leak so where did it go???

Ive taken my truck (1998 S10) to Master Auto multiple times, and every time I received GREAT service. They go out of there way to save to customer money, they do great work, and the service is always very friendly. The shuttle service was very convenient and the work has always been done in a timely manner. I would recommend them to anybody.

Master Auto Service has gained my trust over the 8 years that I have been working with them. I have found them to be the most honest people that I have ever worked with. An example is that they had replaced an ABS brake sensor for me and before I could pick it up and pay, they realized that the problem was actually the wiring. They replaced the wire and then took the new sensor off of the car and only charged me for the wire fix. They could have just fixed both and charged me for both and I would have never known. They have had my business ever since and I have seen these values from them every time I get my car repaired. I am a customer for life.

Needed a Fuel Filler Neck replaced on my 1999 Town Car. The repair looks good, but they charged me $230 for the part. Not sure where they got it, but everywhere else quoted around $170.

I would rate no stars if I could, Im so mad because my husband took our car there to fix the fuel lines, got charged 300 dls and it still smells like gas now, I took it again and they said nothing was wrong. Now I took it to other place where they told me it is not ok and Ill have to pay way more money.

Great Service. Friendly, knowledgeable and most important HONEST!! I have been there several times. One time in particular I took in my mini van (purchased used) that I thought needed a tune up. John called me and informed me that it looked like the tune up had been done recently. Saved me $400. I am sure there are some places that would have done the tune up anyway or worse, not do a tune up, and still charge me! Will keep going back to Master Auto - hopefully not too often ;)
