Needed a flat tire changed to the spare and AAA sent them out. The caller ID said Gregory came out, and I simply had to leave a review. He was so quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. He even set the flat in the trunk for me!I would definitely recommend them based on this experience, and will likely seek them out for future repairs.I forgot to mention, he was here and gone before the hour estimate for arrival on AAA app!!!

Quite literally the only people in metro Detroit that I will trust to work on my cars. I tell everyone I know to go to them because they are honest. If it aint broke they dont fix it and tell you when it does just come back here to get it fixed. Great work. Great customer service. Great people all around.

I highly recommend Troy Auto Care! Ive taken my old Jeep there twice and had a great experience both times. The first was when I had just bought it and needed a few fixes, some big and some small. They called within the day and gave me a quote that was much lower than I was expecting. The repairs were done quickly and done well. My second trip was this week. My car broke down in a parking lot so I called to have it towed. The tow truck arrived within 20 minutes. As soon as they opened Monday morning, they called and said that the mechanic had found a loose transmission wire, fixed the problem, and that there would be no charge (including the towing fee). Wow! Great to find a repair shop that values its customers and provides great service. Im getting a new car this week and will be taking it to Troy Auto Care for all repairs and tune-ups.

This place is awesome. I have been using it for 3 years with 100% satisfaction. Heard about it from a Google search and their reviews are accurate to their service. I have gone looking for general advice and every time, a mechanic sits down with me and talks over what they recommend. Recently took in my car to get it assessed for transmission fluid flush. They said it was unnecessary for the next 50k miles at least. They could have made easy money but instead had great integrity.All work has been high quality and has not needed to be redone. How busy they are reflects how good they are.

Just got off my shift at the hospital and my car wouldnt accelerate . I had to park and call for service, Alex, was super nice and calming in this stressful situation . He was very professional and got my car to the shop and me home safely 30 minutes away. Would definitely recommend!

This is my second time using this company for roadside assistance first time was for a key lockout in middle of winter a tow truck was there in 10 minutes. Today was for a spare tire change my insurance app said 42 minute arrival however (Michael) called and arrived within 15 minutes of requesting assistance he was friendly,professional fast had me back on road within 5 minutes. Wheel bearing goes as 3wks out of warranty, call 3 times to talk to manager n nobody returns your call!!They send me to owner Donny n his message states he out of office Sept2-Sept6 ( I called October 11th)??BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTUALLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.Also bought Battery AAA- 3 yrs old goin bad, I call to get info on replacement n they tell me to call AAA. AAA roadside assistance sent them to me and I am so glad. It was my first time being broken down on the side of the road and i was so stressed. Mark, the tow truck driver was super professional and i was having my car towed to my home, i never felt uncomfortable having to drive in the tow truck. He was super friendly and was even able to make me laugh. Someone from the shop called me shortly after to make sure everything was okay and i was satisfied. Also came earlier than predicted even in rush hour traffic in a high construction area.

Used this company in the past for my AAA towing needs but dont know what happened this time. Was waiting for 5 hours and finally called AAA where the driver was and AAA responded that they denied coming out. Well how about telling the person thats waiting for 5 hours that the driver isnt coming!! Poor, poor, customer service. They were great at one time. Shame on you Troy Auto care for NOT caring for your customers!!!!......update...spoke with business to find out what happened.....so needless to say,.......DO NOT BUY AAA TOWING PROGRAM. Very quick service and friendly staff. I had a poor expeirence, took my car in for wheel bearing change. Left the shop and within a few minutes noticed a new whining noise, which I attributed to the new parts. Well it kept on getting worse and worse so I took it into a different Napa for warranty work and it turns out the rear differential is bad and needs repaired (quoted $4800). Quite a coincidence that I have this new noise all of a sudden starting literally the second I drive away. I moved states the same day of service so unfortunately I couldn’t bring my truck back in.

I had to use AAA for flat tire and Troy Auto Care was dispatched for assistance. Rami(driver/tech) was Absolutely Amazing,Polite & Friendly. First, he called to give me update on arrival time which was shorter than what AAA tracker indicated however Rami changed the flat and replaced with the spare. Rami also gave me some pointers that I had no clue about regarding driving on a spare. My overall experience was great and Ill definitely recommend Troy Auto Care

We will only take our Ford Freestar with 248,000 miles to Troy Auto Care. They keep it running to say the least. More importantly, I wanted to mention Trevor, the Towing Specialist driver, who came to get our vehicle. The vehicle was stuck in the garage so he had to first get a non starting vehicle out of our garage, into the drive way, into the street, and onto the flat bed. Repairs were then made by Troy Auto to keep it running. Trevor was great and took charge of the situation so I didnt have to think about it.

I called to ask for help for my elderly aunt whose car broke down on a busy area, and they had a tow truck there in under 15 minutes, drove her home and brought the car in for an alternator and battery. The driver was very kind, and had things under control very quickly. The driver also called me to assure me that all was well. ❤

AAA never sent me anything to leave a review so Im hoping I have the right business. Was told anywhere from 45-1.5 hours for a tow. Ferris called me maybe 10 minutes later to say hed just gotten my info and hed be there soon which was about another 10 Minutes. He was friendly and professional, took care of my car. The original time I was slated to get picked up I had already gotten the car towed, drove to the shop and was back home. Ive had AWFUL tow drivers from AAA before and spent hours waiting, Next time Ill request this place for sure.

Update:I got a call from Jeromy and he said that he is going to order TPM and replace it for me. It was like 3 or 4 weeks back. Since then I called twice and no response. Both the times front desk lady picked up call and promised me she calls back with update.I felt like front desk lady is so unprofessional and never gave call back.Donnie - if you really want to address my issue, please call me and you have my number. I can tell you 100% front desk lady knows my number.TPM for one tire replaced. When I called she said TPM was done for all four tires but when I looked at after coming home, it was done for only one. Not sure where the confusion is. Please call me if you have any questions on this posting

Nice people even though they couldnt take me today

Troy Auto Care was sent out by AAA because my car wouldnt start. I was told I needed a new battery and the employee make a recommendation for my SUV. I accepted his analysis of the problem and made the purchase. I later found out that the battery he sold me is not the proper one for my car, and its better suited for a golf cart! I am not a mechanic. My background is in law enforcement. If he had offered me the proper one for my car, more costly or not, I would have paid for it. I am trying to resolve the matter with AAA. I am very disappointed. I am giving two stars because although he was unmasked, he was very pleasant.

I had made an appointment to have struts replaced on my car. That morning my car overheated, so I had it towed to the shop early. They were able to get the right parts delivered and installed in just a few hours, and fixed the reason it overheated, while I browsed titles at the nearby book store. I will definitely return for any future repairs :)

Just had DaShawn out here from this company for a AAA battery call and couldnt be more pleased. DaShawn was super professional, polite and friendly. He quickly diagnosed my battery and charging system while taking the time to show me what the test was displaying to confirm it was indeed the battery. He then was able to quickly install the new battery, all while making it look simple in the blistering heat we are currently having. Troy Auto Care, youre fortunate to have DaShawn as part of your team and while I hope to not need your services in the near future, when I do, I hope I get DaShawn as the Service Technician.

AAA had Troy Auto tow our vehicle. Their driver damaged my fender as seen in photos. Good thing I took pictures of the vehicle before it was towed (also seen in photos). I made a damage claim with them on Friday 5/11/18 and was told that someone would reach out to me by the following Monday. It didnt happen. I called on Wednesday morning (5/16) and was told someone would call me by the end of day. Didnt happen. I contacted AAA and they called Troy Auto. I was told someone would follow up the next day. It didnt happen. I called again on Sunday (5/20) at 10:14am and got hold of someone who claimed to be a manager. He asked what the call was about. I ran through the timeline of my experience to get him up to date. His response was ok, were not gonna go there. Confused, I asked what that was supposed to mean and he said that I had an attitude. Of course, this didnt sit well with me. Instead of listening to the issue he continued to argue with me about my attitude for literally 5 minutes. I asked if I should come down in person to which he replied, if you come here, Ill call the police on you. He claimed that offering to come there was threatening him with violence. I have 2 daughters and a newborn son. Im working 70+ hours/week. The last thing Im going to be doing is threatening someone with violence. I dont have time for that. I really dont have time to keep hounding this situation. I just want my wifes van fixed. She just gave birth 2 weeks ago and I want it done by the time shes able to drive again. How does someone like this ever get a management position? After getting off the phone, I immediately called AAA to document my experience. Hoping for resolution and to never deal with the manager I recently talked to on the phone. Im a directv tech. If I talked to one of my customers like he talked to me, Id be instantly fired.Edit: one of the owners reached out to me and is taking care of me. I received a heartfelt apology, my van is being taken care of, they dropped off a rental vehicle, and the owner even threw in an olive garden gift card. The young man I had words with was the one who picked up and dropped off the vehicles and he seemed sincere with his apology. I imagine that this review was the first time the owners heard of it. Im changing my review from 1 to 4 stars because the owner was responsible and took fast action, once he learned of the situation. I cant believe that they would be in business as long as they have and have such a good reputation if this was the norm. Everyone has their bad days.

The front tire of my sons car was smoking. We figured it was a brake issue - like a stuck pad - even though the brakes are newer. Troy Auto showed up quickly, towed it and unstuck the pad for FREE! We havent been used to such honesty in this industry...SO refreshing! We live about 45 minutes away but will travel for car service for sure. Thanks for the unexpectedly fantastic experience.

Had a tow truck come out and help diagnose and tow our car. The driver/tech (Trevor I think - it’s been 2 weeks since the tow!!) was very friendly, came very expediently to the location and safely hauled the car onto the flatbed and delivered it to the shop. Well done. I try to always get Troy Auto Care for any towing needs as their team is more honest and diligent than other AAA tow services in the Troy area.

These are the only people in the business who will give you an honest answer and only do what you need done, not what they want to sell. If you are looking for people to trust wholeheartedly 100% these are your mechanics!!! If you go to a dealership or another mechanic you are honestly wasting your time, and I guarantee spending way to much money!

Super customer service! Theyre truly interested in making sure your vehicle is safe to drive. If it cannot be repaired, their technicians will explain why.You dont have to look for another business to meet your vehicle maintenance / repair needs. You can even charge your cell phone, or other electronic device, while waiting for service to be completed. This AAA award winning business can really do it all!

On February 28th of 2020 I received a tow from Troy Auto Care through AAA for my disabled vehicle. Everything went fine, but after they dropped my vehicle off I noticed that my tailgate was severely scratched. I bought this truck new so I know my vehicle front to back, and this scratch was really noticeable. So I put in a claim with AAA and they claim that they received video from Trot Auto Care that showed they did not damage my vehicle. I asked AAA for the video and they said they couldnt share it with me and that I should contact Troy Auto. So I did, and they absolutely refused to share the video with me. I called AAA back to let them know that Troy Auto Care refused to give me the video. I will follow up to let you guys know how this issue is resolved, but as far as this company is concerned beware when dealing with them I feel they are very dishonest, and untruthful. If they did nothing wrong why wont they share the video of what they did? I think they sent AAA a video that was not my truck. If the video showed that they didnt damage my truck I would accept that, but their refusal to share the video further lets me know that there was foul play. I hope this review helps you when deciding to do business with this company.......And, no they didnt follow the procedure from AAA. According to AAA it is POLICY that the tow company release the video to me upon request Troy Auto Care has not released the video to me. A company with integrity would release the video. If you have nothing to hide be honest. Like I said this is not a closed matter I still have an case open with AAA. Their policy is that you release the video to me, they were surprised to hear that you declined to send it to me. I will see what you sent them, and if the video shows that my tailgate was not damaged after your service then fine I am mistaken, and I apologize. When I think about it there were no cameras on the driver. Maybe there was one I didnt see. Show me a video of my vehicle not being damaged, and I will let this situation rest, but you wont because I dont think you sent video of my vehicle. Have a good day you will be hearing from me, or AAA soon.

I did AC service here during lockdown. I got Nissan Rogue 14, Worst service ever came across and it was way more expensive then any other Mechanic. I took the second opinion after getting an estimation for condenser from here and it was way less price. Mechanics are told to be professionals but honestly, there are not. I wasted 300$ for Ac refringent. They lost my ac cap too.

These guys are great! I brought my town & country in with check engine light, had an estimate within 10 minutes, then when I approved the repairs they even have me a ride home and picked me up when job was completed! They fixed it in like one hour the fuel injector was bad, Ive already recommended to my coworker and he used them too! The ladies at the desk are extremely kind, they make you feel right at home here. Highly recommend me and my wife wont go anywhere else.

By far the best and friendliest tow company in the area. I broke down at work and I had my wife call some places for me. Troy Auto Care was the only place that was not rude to her. The price was very reasonable and the service was fast. The driver was awesome and he could take my card so I didnt need to find an ATM. I recently had a 4 Wheel Alignment on my 2012 Flex at Troy Auto Center and was quite pleased with my visit!Waiting area was clean, as an added bonus they had outlets and charging cords available for phones and or tablets!Tiffany at the front desk was very friendly, offering bottles of water and or coffee!The Tech, (Jeremy), who did the Alignment, talked to me personally in the lobby afterwards and presented a before and after printout of the specs!!I will not hesitate to bring my vehicles here, and will recommend these guys to friends and family!Dan

Trevor from Troy Auto Care was amazingly fast, friendly and extremely professional when coming to my rescue on a busy freeway. He even picked me up off the service drive so I wouldn’t have to risk walking the shoulder to get back to my car. He was great! Got up early was only a complete waste of time and gas arrived at the shop at 9:05 waited for 15 minutes with two people fidgeting around trying to get the computers to work. One guy ask what everyone was here for I said to see why my car was making a noise he responded oh there arent any mechanics here to check out your car because no one here is Ase certified . I responded the website doesnt reflect its only limited services on Sundays that would of been helpful instead of me driving for 20 minutes just to get no service so unprofessional not a way to run a successful business one bad experience can do a lot of damage to a companies reputation.

My daughters car was in need of a tow. Our warranty company set up towing through a different company who failed to show up ( after 12 hrs) . After complaining, they called Troy auto care. I called as well and was greeted with a friendly voice and was told the car would be picked up within an hour. 35 minutes later a driver called me to let me know he had the car ( he was very friendly as well). Highly recommend, very professional and courteous staff !!

My first interaction with Troy Auto Care was after having a flat on 75 in the middle of winter, the tow truck/maintenance guy was so kind and helpful. I’ve taken my car there for every repair since.
