Amazing customer service. Despite being short staffed they accommodated is even on a holiday. Dustin even helped an elderly woman with an emergency in the parking lot. Top notch service provided. I would gladly return to this store!

My wife and I needed some work done on our defroster. While there, we also got an oil change. For all we had done, the price was right. To top it off, Dustin was very professional and informative! He gave us some tips and went above and beyond for us. This was our second visit there, and it won’t be our last!

Called on Tuesday 3/30 to schedule oil change with Dustin who our owner had arrangements with for our vehicles. Was told Dustin was off until Friday by a fill in manager from another location. He said he knew nothing about anything Dustin had set up but I could come in Friday 4/2 at 10:30am for the oil change since Dustin would be in. I arrived a little before 10:30am and was met by someone who asked to help. I told him I was there for 10:30am oil change. He said he didnt have me down. I explained the above to him and he said that if I had had an appointment it wasnt put down. Said he could get me in at 2:30pm. He didnt seem to care or attempt to make things right. Offered no apology. I felt as if he didnt believe that I had an appointment. He was very unprofessional. I will never use or recommend this business. Only rated 1 star as it wouldnt let me rate zero stars. Does not deserve even 1 star.

Drove an hour after making an appointment the day before and was turned away and told to come back tomorrow.

Terrible experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a shop that is unknowledgeable, rude, and will repeatedly lie to your face, then this is the place to go. What good is a Munro warranty if Munro and the shops under their umbrella refuse to honor it? I have never heard so many excuses. Save yourself a headache and take your business anywhere else. Would have given zero stars, but could not post unless I highlighted at least one.

Today Rick was able to work on our tow car that died on us. We had it towed over to his place at 6:00 pm last night. Quick assessment and turnaround repair. We were able to get back on the road and still meet our deadline for the next RV park. Very professional. Extremely accommodating. Highly recommend Monro!!

What a joke. Had a coupon for oil change for 18.99. Glad I asked before I left it cause after all it was still $50. Didn’t honor it and even try to get my business.

I normally do all of my own vehicle maintenance, but I cant mount and balance tires. I get decent deals online for tires and usually have them shipped to the house. In this case, I didnt have a lot of extra time, so I elected to have the tires shipped directly to a local installer, Monro. Having never been there, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got on the schedule, and not long after dropping the truck, I got a call. They wanted me to know that one of the tire pressure monitoring sensors might need to be replaced. I said, thats fine, and thanked them for letting me know. When I picked up the truck, they informed me that the sensor worked fine and they did not need to replace it. Pleasantly surprised to spend less than expected. Good service at a fair price. We all win.

Very friendly with setting up my appointment over the phone the day before. However, the person at the front desk clearly got an attitude with me when I simply questioned the pricing of the oil change. I am fresh out of school and have to save more money, so my goal in going here was to get an oil change at a lower price than I typically get at Valvoline, but because of the type of oil I needed that was not the case - even WITH a coupon. I’m not sure if he was having a bad week, bad day, or whatever the case, but he was very nice until he realized he wasn’t getting any money from me. Maybe consider putting a pricing list for the different services you offer so we don’t waste each other’s time? I definitely didn’t appreciate the nasty change in attitude though.

Monroe is the shop I take both of my vehicles to for all routine maintenance and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Rick the manager is friendly and informative on all work done and the turnaround for when the job is complete is always impressive. She waiting area is clean and perfectly acceptable fore the short waits. My accord recently needed tires replaced and these guys sure moved in it faster than expected. This shop will continue to get my business!

Ive come here for years for oil changes but today was the last. They have always been a bit shady like the time my muffler had a hole. They quoted me over $400 because he said I needed a whole new muffler. On a co-workers advice I took it to Sandys in Piqua. They fixed it for $40!!! Another time they quoted me $54 for a cabin filter. I looked on u-tube and fixed it myself in 2 minutes and believe me Im no expert. Today I went in with a coupon from their website. The guy at the front desk straight up told me that my coupon would not do much for me except change the oil and filter. They wont check my fluids or rotate my tires. That service would be $49! Nice. He has asked me in the past to write a good review for him which I never did. Well here is your review Monroe tire. You lost a customer for good and if anyone asks me Ill tell the truth. I bet they paid for some of those 5 star reviews.

Went in for a wobble in steering at high speed. Expected to pay a couple hundred dollars. Spoke with the manager Travis; he personally took the truck in and looked it over. Had me back on the road in about half an hour. Missing wheel weight for $7.00. Even cleaned up my dirty rims. Honest people and great service.

Great service every time I go. Very honest. They check out the car and let you know any problems but they don’t get pushy like other shops. I recommend this place to everyone. Just be prepared to make an appointment sometimes as they do get busy.

Went in for an oil change today. It was fast and for a good deal. Had questions about which oil to use when I go in for service and the manager said use semi. I will definitely be going back for more service and more people should also

Very nice and knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable waiting there on my car.*UPDATE: Updating my review to say that the last time I was there (several months ago) the service was subpar and the waiting room was disgusting. They have a brand new lobby but the waiting room hadnt been cleaned, the chairs were in disarray, and there were dirt and leaves strewn everywhere. From now on I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Came in for a problem with my battery. They took care of it in about 30 minutes. I was just guessing that they did batteries when I walked in. Corporate should do a better job of advertising the other services they do because these guys did a great job!

My neighbor referred me to Monroe in Troy after my Mothers car was experiencing some front end noise and after he had a great experience there himself with his vehicle. I must say from the time I walked in and met Rick who was very polite, professional and thorough to talking with the mechanic who was confident and knowledgeable i felt comfortable to having the work done. Work was done in a timely matter and the best part is my mothers car is safe to drive!

Had a nail in my tire from the highway, came here and they said they could only provide a quote but not the service the same day. I asked them where could help me today, and they refused to tell me any other place I could get service today. Of course they are not required to do so, but just unfriendly.

Been going to them for a few years now for oil changes. Easy and fast. Rick and his whole staff are a great bunch of guys and sell you what you need, and there’s always a good deal usually going on.

The staff is friendly, they explained maintenance suggestions based on my type of car, explained pricing, and offered discounts that were applicable at the time of service. Rick and crew took care of me the moment I needed help. I had a problem with a tire and needed it fixed asap. I gave therm a call, was told to bring my car in, and in less than an hour I was back on the road like nothing happened. Great service, better people!

Rick at the front desk is friendly and personable, doesn’t give you the run-around. However, the price for an oil change is $57 (that’s with a $10 coupon) which is pricey for a 15 minute job. Probably going to explore other places to get this done.

When I set up my appointment I needed my brakes done that day since they were so bad. Unfortunatly, after I made my appointment I get a call back that one of the shop guys had a family emergency and my car may be pushed back a day. When Rick called he thought I only needed an oil change, but when I said I needed my brakes done he immediately said he would make it work since brakes are a safety issue. I was very pleased that helped me out and I was able to have my car ready for a long trip the next day with working brakes instead of risking it. He squeezed me in during a busy day and now my car has brakes again. Very nice guy when you sit down and talk with him, would recommend.

Went there 3/18/19. We thought the building was closed because there were no cars in the parking lot. I went inside and there were 2 people there. One guy at the desk and one guy working on the only car in the shop. I told him my car has an exhaust leak and politely asked if he can he take a look at it? Without making eye contact he said “Not today.” I said “really?” He said “nope.” As I started walking out the door he said “You wanna make an appointment?” I just kept walking without a word because I was so angry it would have not done much good to let him know what I really thought! The first words would have been...do you really hate your job that much, or are you just that lazy? Please help me understand? The place was empty! One car! No customers! We went to muffler bros in Vandalia. Every bay was full. I told them the issue and they immediately put the car on the rack, diagnosed the problem, did a little cutting and welding, and we were repaired and out of there in 40 minutes for $68.00! Now that’s how you treat customers!

My fiancé takes our cars there for everything instead of the big dealerships. Always helpful, prices are less, and they’re out to do what’s best for the customer. True honest mechanics.

Broke off a valve stem adding air to my tire. Monro got my vehicle right in, changed the valve stem, and we were back on the road in no time. Fast and very friendly service.

I went in for just an oil change and I was afraid they would find “more things wrong” which I think is everyone’s nightmare. What I found was a friendly staff that explained in detail what they were doing and found very minor things that needed done in their long list of things to look for. I didn’t feel pressured to get those things fixed and those things were not surprising and felt it would need done as I do know a little about cars. Honestly sometimes it’s nice to pay for things to be done rather than doing it yourself. I would definitely return and not feel they would steer me wrong!

I went to Monro with virtually no brakes. I needed new brake lines ran and new drums and fluid. They worked extremely hard and Rick comunicated very well in order to keep me in the loop. They got the job done very quickly for a reasonable and fair price. I will be going back any time my vehicles have brake related problems.

Went there today and had quite a good experience. My concern with getting my car fixed at any place is getting talked into making unnecessary repairs, but I felt like these gentleman were trustworthy and fair in prices. I have been there a few times and will certainly go back.

10/17/18: Rick called for the poor experience on Monday. I appreciated him owning that; they did my brakes on the next day and everything went smoothly. I am updating this from 1 to 4 stars.This morning 10/15/18, went there at 7:35 during store hours and the door was locked. Guy behind the desk was typing away so I stood there for a couple minutes, no eye contact or acknowledgement. Tapped several times then pounded a few times. He got up glanced my way, grabbed something off the desk and sat back down.It was cold and wet, I went into work late so I could drop my car off here. Poor customer service in the morning!!!!

The guy behind the counter was rude and I will not go back. We used to go there all the time with no trouble. This guy must be fairly new. Not a good addition to the company.

I wouldnt even rate the Troy store with a 1 star if you gave me a choice of 0. We used them for our company vehicles but will no longer. The young person who has taken over this store needs to work more years as a mechanic, not a manager, and learn what good customer service is. He approached me full of arrogance and when he didnt get the answer he wanted, he hung up on me. He then called my business partner (apparently he doesnt like to deal with women) and again when he didnt get his way, he hung up on him..twice. I would NEVER recommend the Troy Monroe store to anyone.

Was stuck in troy with a flat.. i live in columbus ohio.. Rick got me in right away even though he was short handed. The spare was frozen on the cable and it took 30 plus minutes to get off. He and his staff kept working on it versus cutting the cable and allowing me to incur additional cost for a new cable. VERY patient, VERY friendly and the cleanest bathroom i have ever experienced in a automotive service center. Would definitely use again - just wish i lived closer.

Always tried to tell me that there was more work needed on the car than what actually needed done. I am disappointed in this location. It was easy to get to.

Just wanted to share the great experience I had at Monro in Troy with Rick and the guys, they were very professional, they explained to me all the work that was needed and gave me options on the repairs that were needed on my car. I was treated with nothing but respect and will definitely be going back and recommend them to all of my family and friends.

I got an oil change here on 6/27/17. I immediately noticed major oil leaks on my garage floor. I called up there and the person I talked to seeked like ya and but told me to bring it in and they would take a quick look. They looked at it for about 5 minutes and said nope its fine just some oil that spilled. A week later still getting stuff on my garage floor. Take it up for a 2nd time. Nope we cant find anything wrong weve cleaned it really well it will be good. Time goes by and I am STILL getting leakage. Finally I take it to the dealer I used to go to and all these people had to do was tighten a damn valve and the leaks stopped! Do not take your car to Monro!! They missed this simple fix 3 times.

Cheap prices and amazing service, If i have a problem I know monroe will fix it, i really cant reccomend them enough. The gentleman at the front desk is always knowledgeable and always helpful as well so it always feels like Im being taken by family

The only reason this is not a zero star is because I can’t give zero stars. At first they all seemed very friendly. Then they gave me a quote and I talked to my dad and he felt like the quote they gave me was a lot. So we asked what the bare minimum was that needed to be done and it still cost close to $400! I called autozone and the two parts I needed didn’t even cost $60 all together. So I called Monro and said I will be coming to get my car and I will pay the diagnostic fee. The man scoffed at me and when I came he was very rude, would not acknowledge me, and did not want to answer any of my questions. Stay away from this place. Bad business all around.

Had an appointment for new tires at 4:30pm. Got there right before 4:30, decided to stay and work off my laptop in their waiting room with free wifi, and I was driving home by 5:50pm. Very quick service and a cordial atmosphere in my experience.

Called to ask for a quote. The guy in the phone was extremely rude. Snickered at me when I didn’t automatically know he was ready for my car make and model. Very condescending tone. Definitely will not be taking my business here.
