My refrigerator went on a Saturday evening and I called around to a few stores the following Sunday. Chris returned my call promptly and emailed me several options based on what I told him I was looking for. I was able to run to the store that Tuesday and take a quick look once I narrowed my options down. I was able to get the refrigerator delivered that Thursday, which was very convenient. The delivery was easy. The two individuals who delivered the refrigerator were extremely professional and kind. They went out of their way to remove my sliding glass door completely so they would not have to remove the doors from the refrigerator. They also made sure the refrigerator was level prior to leaving. I am so happy with my purchase. The customer service at Planet T.V. is superb. Everyone there is wonderful and helpful. They also had the best prices around. I am very satisfied and highly recommend Planet T.V.

Called them in the morning regarding a dryer, they said they short staffed but immediately assisted me. From the time I walked in, under 10 minutes later I left with the new dryer. A few weeks ago I met with Rob Prisco at the store and was walked through the beautiful showroom. My wife and I were able to view appliances at all price points, and we were talked through the pros and cons of each brand. My old window unit in my apartment broke down a few months ago and I called Planet TV to help me with a new one. I know absolutely nothing about air conditioning units and definitely needed a lot of hand holding through the whole process. Rob immediately offered to come by, check out the existing unit and take some measurements for me. When he came by and took the measurements he checked out the unit and informed me that Friedrich still makes the same unit in the exact same size. I loved my old Friedrich so I was glad that he was able to find the updated version of the unit for me! Since the unit was the same size, Rob told me it would be able to fit in the existing sleeve. Once the unit was installed, I realized that there was a lot of vibrations. I initially put it aside and just thought the new unit was louder than the original but low and behold, Rob called me a few days later to check in. I’m so glad he did because once I told him that I was surprised it was so loud he knew that the sleeve had to be replaced and had his service technician call me right away to schedule an appointment. The service tech was able to work with my schedule and came to my rescue! Now my unit works great! Their service is impeccable and they made the whole process a breeze! It’s definitely service I couldn’t have gotten at any big box store. I’m so thankful for Rob, Planet TV & Appliance and all of their staff!

Planet TV is synonymous with EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Two and a half years ago I bought a Frederick AC unit from Rob, unfortunately the AC unit died this summer. I called Rob to let him know about the problem I was having and without hesitation he said let me see what I can do. Rob called me back a day later to inform me that he was able to swap my busted unit with a brand new Frederick. Thanks for the great work guys, Ill be back soon!

Visited the Stamford store multiple times and was always given plenty of time to discuss options and choices. Chris & Steve are very knowledgeable and when they didnt know the answer they found the answer. Purchased a full kitchen worth of appliances, price was competitive and installation was tailored to our schedule. In particular the FIsher Paykel dishwasher installation was done very professionally.

They were able to store things until construction was completed, delivery was prompt and professional, and when I reported a minor issue with the fridge they had a GE tech out the next business day. Glad I ended up just going here and would not recommend you waste your time elsewhere.

My old washer broke, and I needed a washer/dryer that had to fit in a small closet space in a co-op apartment. Art, Clark, and everybody at Planet were so helpful, cheerful, and inventive in getting the Units properly delivered (not a scratch on the floor or a wall taking out the old or putting in the new, in a very small space with narrow stairs on the second floor!!!), and installing the washer/dryer in the tiny space with the proper ventilation! I was so happy it worked! The entire team were so helpful and professional! This is why I LOVE PLANET!! I have dealt with them before and will go back again the next time I need a new appliance. They totally ROCK! By the way, my Blomberg washer and dryer, which Art recommended, are fantastic machines that do an incredible job of cleaning and drying. Love them!!!!

After recently purchasing a coop that required full renovation I went to Planet and Appliance for all my kitchen appliances, air conditioners and a new television. Robert Prisco guided me through all available options for every item I was planning to purchase. Finding the proper sized refrigerator was the hardest problem throughout the renovation. Due to the size and space of the kitchen nearly every single refrigerator I was looking at would have stuck out passed the wall and into the doorway. Robert was able to search and find the one and only refrigerator that met my exact needs. Moreover, the prices are as competitive as it gets because they purchase the appliances as part of a larger cooperative. Therefore, whether its Presidents weekend, Black Friday, etc.. or not, prices are always excellent and unlike the big box stores, you dont get the run around or get passed around if/when you have an appliance question, a question about delivery or perhaps more importantly, if you should have a service issue (which is so important). I bought my washer and dryer from Planet 5 years ago and they installed it for me, I recently realized (shame on me for it taking so long) that the dryer was venting into the closet instead of into the output hose carrying it outside. Planet TV refused to come over and look at it / repair it for me. My handyman just pulled the stacked unit out from the closet and we discovered the very much too short 2 feet dryer hose was just hanging from the back of the dryer in mid-air, not even close to the hose in the floor it was supposed to attach to to carry the air outside through my basement. Do not use them for your installations! If I had caught it earlier, I wouldnt have the water damage on the walls that I am now stuck with.

Planet TV swooped in with a last minute order that seemed impossible to pull off. I needed a new fridge and a stackable washer/dryer, within three days, delivered and installed on a Saturday, with a gas connection. I assumed I would have to a big chain store in order to get what I wanted, when I wanted. Not only did Planet TV take care of EVERYTHING on my list the sales guy went way beyond normal service. I had picked out a laundry unit that wasn’t optimum for the space. He let me text him a photo of the setup, with measurements and he made sure I had the right unit.There is zero chance of getting that level of service from a big box store. Not to mention, the appliances I bought from Planet TV were the exact same price as Best Buy and Home Depot, but Planet TV threw in removal of the old stuff and delivered exactly when I needed it. Why anyone would shop with a chain is a total mystery to me

The staff was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and provided me with pros and cons of each item. I was originally shopping for a basic side by side refrigerator. After speaking with Chris I decided to upgrade to the Samsung French door model with the family hub. It has been about 6 months and my wife and kids love it. We use the family hub almost everyday. It helps with managing the grocery list as well as lets me watch yankees play while Im cooking in the kitchen. The delivery team was top notch. The refrigerator is pretty heavy and they took their time and were extremely careful not to mark or dent anything in the house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for appliances, TVs, etc.

We decided to check out Planet based on the many recommendations that were posted on the website Nextdoor. It was a decision I will never regret and will make us patronize them for any subsequent appliance needs. we purchased a double oven which malfunctioned from day one. Planet went above and beyond my expectations and they consistently followed up. Their responsiveness exceeded anything i had ever had dealt with before and not just limited to appliance purchases. I would whole heartedly recommend Planet to anyone shopping for a TV or appliance

My husband and I purchased a washer and dryer and couldnt have been happier with the service. The first installer forgot to replace the dryer hose and when i called they were back the next day to finish the job! The Prisco brothers were so accommodationg and friendly well definitely return for future appliance/tv purchases. Great shop local, family business!

We worked with Chris, one of the owners. First of all, they are extremely knowledgeable in product. They were so helpful helping us decide which brand to get and didnt oversell expensive brands or variations like many other places we encountered - they just simply educated us and told us to make our decision from there: this was so appreciate.Where they really shined was delivery and customer satisfaction. My fridge was delivered on a Saturday and they were extremely flexible with my crazy schedule. Unfortunately, once they left we were unable to get my fridge into the kitchen due to size (the delivery guy had told us how to get it in and we thought we would be able to so we let that be). The next day, we called and explained the situation and chris promised they would make it right. This to me is where it is 100% WORTH USING MOM AND POP SHOPS over HOME DEPOT or LOWES even if they cant beat the pricing- hd or lowes would have said sorry, its too late we already delivered. Chris and Clark with deliveries team coordinated during the week and were able to get someone out the following Saturday to take care of us because we had another time sensitive project going on. The accommodation was so appreciated and quite frankly the best customer service I could expect. This is the type of customer service that keeps people coming back. We own multiple properties in Stamford and plan to use them for any appliance replacements we have in the future.Thank you guys again!
