Everyone from scheduling to payment and in between were all very nice and professional. When I was unable to see my regular eye doctor because he was out of the office they recommended I call The Eye Associates. They were able to get me in the same day for an eye injury even without being a patient there. I saw Dr Oneal he was very nice. Overall positive experience I would recommend them.

I was referred to Dr. Bradley O’Neill at Eye Associates (the Bee Ridge Road office) for cataract surgery evaluation. Every single person who interacted with me there was terrific. Each was welcoming, efficient, competent and thorough. Dr. O’Neill explained everything to me and laid out several possible courses of action. I left feeling like I had made an informed decision about how to proceed.

I was made to sit outside because I lowered my mask to take a drink for a medical condition I have that causes chronic dry mouth. I have antibodies and natural immunity. The woman walking around policing and harassing people needs a good speaking to. She’s insensitive.

Very efficient staff and friendly, considering how busy it was. Dr Han and his staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant. It was my first time there and I would definitely recommend to others!

Im one eye into double cataract surgery, and all I can say is Im so happy I chose Dr ONeill to do it. I went from having a -400 prescription and a bad astigmatism to 20/25 vision and virtually no astigmatism in the eye he operated on. I cant wait to have the other eye done. Dr. ONeill, the nurses, and the office staff have all been great to work with. Ive worn Coke-bottle lenses since I was eight years old. These people can perform miracles.

The call center could use some work, but the in person staff more than make up for their lack of attention. The call center felt an active hemorrhage was only worth a note in my chart... Once the office staff came across the note (7 hours later) they called me to schedule immediately. I was at work, and my husband called to tell me they were trying to reach me. When I called back, I got the call center again. They changed the appointment I already had for the following day so see me as an ER visit in addition to the comprehensive eye exam I was already scheduled for, and changed the time. When I got there, I was scheduled an hour later than their last comprehensive exam time, with only a note of the hemorrhage. The staff was wonderful, they stayed late to complete the exam and get me all taken care of. I am so impressed with their compassion and attentiveness to their patients! Theyre honest, they dont sugar coat things, but theyre patient and kind. If their call center could get it together Id give them a perfect 5 star rating!

Everyone was very helpful once they understood why I was there and what my concern were about having eye surgery. They did help me understand better what my options were, giving me better advise in order to make an informed decision.

Everything is good about this place except the waiting time, my appointment wss at 8:00am i registered my information ahead on line, even pay my copayment, was there 15 mts earlier and waited 40 mts past my appointment time to be called. I was expecting to weit the most 10 mts before to be called taking in consideration that I have everyting ready and being so early in the morning

Dr. Scott Han was a real Trailblazer and We both hit it off Immediately! I was so impressed with his technique and Professional Manner. What had happened, was my STYE on upper Left Eyelid, hadn’t completely healed, and was draining into the Corner of my L Eyelid! Well, Dr. Han put me on new Antibiotics, take 2 the first day, then 4 following at Evening. Six total pills. And EYE Drops that worked magnificently! The reason we Clicked So Well, is both of us are People With Personality Plus! I Highly Recommend Dr. Scott Han to Everyone that has EYE Issues or STYES, as He Gets Right To The Problem With An Excellent Solution! So Very Personable As Well!

I went to an appointment at this location. I took the exam using my health plan. To my surprise, at the end, a cost of $58.00.Even upset, I made the payment. After a few months, I received a new charge in the amount of $ 285.I tried several times to get in touch, but they never got back to me.Now I have received a letter from a billing office informing you that this debt should be paid within 30 days.Im really outraged. I await urgent responses. I dont recommend this clinic to anyone.

From the front desk to checking out they rate a 10 plus. Everyone is professional, courteous and go above the norm. I’m there quite a bit because of AMD and Dr. Mali is the best. Over the years I’ve seen just about everyone and I’ve never had a complaint. Thank you Dr McCabe and your staff.

5 stars to Dr Han and his staff. Reception didn’t realize I was there even though I’d signed in and she’d said hello to me. I had to wait until after everyone had returned from lunch to be seen. My quick, follow up appointment ended up taking 2 hours, not including travel time.

I cannot recommend Dr. Friedman and his staff enough! My husband and I were in the middle of our vacation when I began to have excruciating eye pain. I found The Eye Associates and showed up first thing in the morning hoping they could see me. Being a tourist, I was terrified I would be shrugged off and turned away. It was the complete opposite. The staff worked quickly to add me as a new patient and called me back within 15 minutes. Dr. Friedman and his staff identified, very quickly, that I had somehow scratched my cornea. I was given an antibiotic and a pain drop and by the next day I was back on the beach! If not for Dr. Friedman my husband and I would have had to end our vacation early. I cannot recommend this staff enough.

My last visit was almost a year ago. I saw Dr Mali because imaging had shown a hole in my retina. After a 2hr wait because he had an emergency surgery, he spent less than 5 minutes to tell me there was nothing he could do. I asked, what am I supposed to do wait until I go blind?. He said, yes, thats pretty much whats going to happen. and left the room. I have been going there for over 5 years, but I will never step foot in there again. The whole operation makes you feel like you are being herded in like a bunch of cattle.

EXCEPTIONAL opticians Jennifer Ambrosino and Jody Miller and reliable MDs for over a decade. Jennifer goes above and beyond perfecting fit of glasses, with poised and gracious professionalism and patience. So rare! Jody is equally kind and pleasant and consistently above expectations as well. Both provide excellent advice and explain minutiae of price points of multiple choices and insurance, and both work magic adjusting the minutiae of glasses for perfect, comfortable fit. The Eye Associates are extremely fortunate to have these two outstanding women for so many years, their loyalty all the more evident through COVID. When I left the office Wednesday (after seeing esteemed, trustworthy Dr. Friedman, I stopped in to see Jennifer to adjust pairs of glasses) I made a note to self to write an UNSOLICITED review because that’s how wonderful Jennifer is.

The whole operation is like a well oiled machine. Organized snd friendly. The doctor is very personable and delightful and serious when needs to be.My only issue is I was not told I was getting eye dilation and no warning. I could hardly drive home and had to cancel plans for the rest of the day. This lasted 6 hours or more.

It was a very nice appt. Everyone was very pleasant, polite. All of the staff was professional, always thinking of me first. After each step of the appt. asking if any questions, always making sure that I was comfortable.

I asked a nurse if what I was told could be printed out and she said yes. Well, it wasn’t. What was handed to me could only be understood by someone in the business, not by a layman. This was disappointing.

I met with a competitor in the eye surgery business before talking to Dr O’Neal, and the appointment was rushed, the surgeon glossed over the condition of my left eye (astigmatism and scarring from an old injury), and then pushed me to sign up for a $5,000 surgery without listening to, or answering, any of my concerns. The office was like a cattle call, with dozens of elderly people being pushed thru the process in a rushed fashion, brought by the van load from elderly homes.The competition also promised me “perfect vision”, but in his online reviews said otherwise, with many former patients that complained of problems after the surgery, and the surgery not living up to his promises, nor making any attempt to repair the problems.I’m so glad I waited to get another opinion! Dr O’Neal at The Eye Associates was extremely thorough, thoughtful and cautious. He pointed out that my left eye could be problematic and would take every extra precaution with it, to achieve the best outcome. No false promises, just a prudent, cautious assessment with the best and worst case scenario.He even suggested that I try a contact lens in one eye before doing the eye surgery, to make sure I would be completely comfortable with “mono-vision” (one eye for distance, one eye for reading), because I really want to get rid of glasses completely if at all possible.If you’re concerned about your eyes, have cataracts, and want to improve your vision, (and don’t want to take chances with your eyesight!) I strongly recommend The Eye Associates and Dr O’Neal.I would much rather have a conservative and careful assessment than a pie in the sky, hope for the best approach! They’re my only EYES!!!

I found Dr Han excellentvwas so kind & first to understand my Cancer Treatments way overdone appear compassionate for what I endure daily. Helped in Dr Hans decision on how to treat My dry eyes. Blood version of dry eye drops blood too toxic thanks too the Chemo they used very bad drug and super fried ftFtom radiations also effected thr dryness since fied everything in throat like chicken. Nothing works & & dessert dry every where. Makes My life miserable for 5 yrs just every thing gets drier, stomach/intestined totslly ruined, veins, throat, ears eyes,, so badly, My recommendation go to Moffit in Tampa or Mayo please dont get treatments here very behind the times. No Compasdion from My Drs, overtreatrd so vould say your alive but not living, laughed. Can you believe that from Cancer Drs but Dr Han very sweet, understood, first other Dr showing sadness besided Mayo. Only had Stage 1 HPV small piece of skin on left covinging where tonsils were. Funny ENT took 2 biopsies for DX so could have cut out get clean margins NO treatments not full blown radiation & 2 Chemo drugs one so toxic cause to much internal dsmage fot life. Said sll teeth taken out to use robotic when scsple just fine. Dr Han slmost fell over trying to understand why? Very under standing. Have all this for rest of life. Its miserable with limited pain relief. Cant sleep but few hours due to it. Just refreshing to have compassioned Dr. Definitely go back to him. So helpful. Was very happy. Thank you Dr Han So much, felt understanding.

Heres my timeline: Today is Saturday. Retired and moved to Siesta Key, FL Tuesday. While walking on the gorgeous sugary white Siesta Key Beach Thursday morning, I noticed foggy and fuzzy vision in one eye that did not improve all day/night. Friday morning I goggled and called The Eye Associates at 10 am. Saw Dr. Robert Friedman at 11 am (this guy is a Rockstar) and Dr. Joshua Mali (he is simply incredible) at 1:30 pm. Dr. Mali (the retina guru) performed emergency procedures (both Laser surgery and Cryopexy) on my retina tear. I left at 4:45 pm after total 6 hours of bruising treatment. Met Nyla, Angelica, Lexi, Roxana (all great nurses) and some wonderful warm and friendly people on earth. Seriously!! Ive lived in the heart of Bethesda, MD for 30+ years in the shadows of NIH, FDA, Bethesda (National) Naval Hospital, Walter Reed, USUHS, Johns Hopkins, Georgetown U. (You get the picture). I couldnt have received such great care in such SHORT NOTICE in Bethesda or DC or in Virginia. There is just NO WAY!! BTW, this is my very first review ever anywhere anyplace anytime on any subject. Thanks to Dr. Mali and Dr. Friedman in specific and their whole teams in general.

Not very welcoming,While I was referred to this office as a place that took my insurance, there is no online booking. I left an email and got a reply a few days later. The email said come in or call to make appointments. Ok great, so I had called the office in manatee and they confirmed they took my insurance. I was in Sarasota doing errands near this location today so I decided to stop by and book an appointment. I walk in and the lady asks how she can help me, I say I was interested in booking an appointment etc that I was referred here by coworkers etc my plan is accepted. I told her the name of the plan, she said she cannot book an appointment without my insurance card. I tell her my plan name she says she’s never heard of it. I ask her if they are affiliated with the location on manatee Ave, and she well this is not on manatee avenue, are you sure you are in the right place? Um yes, thanks I know this isn’t the same place I just know my insurance plan is accepted here... just felt like I was treated as I had no idea what I was talking about, even though I did my research and sought out these offices. Guess I will strictly be dealing with the other location... 😩😕😔

The eye associates were able to get me in to see a doctor within a couple of hours of my calling after an eye injury. I saw Dr. Han and I highly recommend him. He was prompt, knowledgeable, personable and helped me with my eye injury.

I’ve been coming to the Eye Associates for years now, and I haven’t had a single bad experience to speak of. Even now through this pandemic, I expected there to be an extra bit of waiting, considering everything has to be disinfected after each patient, but they really have everything working like clockwork, maintaining social distancing and keeping things moving along seemingly effortlessly; although I realize that’s not the case, it wouldn’t be without the hard workers making things happening. Dr. Han has constantly been wonderful, friendly, and professional every time I’ve seen him, and I couldn’t recommend him, or the Eye Associates more.
