Took my 2011 Terrain in for a warning light that was for a bad rear wheel sensor. It took about an hour and 45 minutes to replace. Great service and very helpful people and a great waiting area with bottled water and phone charging stations. The repair cost was reasonable.

I drove 35 mins to come to this dealership for service, since the two near my house were terrible!! It did take longer than expected here and when I checked in I was ushered inside and no one asked me anything when I had some issues with my car that I wanted them to double check that wasn’t part of my routine oil change/service. I had to check in with them a few times as far as status on my vehicle. But overall the experience was good, the waiting area clean and my son loved the fresh popcorn. The staff was courteous and I would definitely come back. It was also easy to schedule an appointment which I appreciate.

We purchased this car (Acadia 2014) from your dealership and at the time it was a certified used vehicle. Within a matter of having it just for a little bit (maybe few weeks) we starting receiving an error message that the engine power was reduced and the car would slow down, immediately after we started having issues with the AC, ever since purchasing this car weve always had some sort of problem and we ALWAYS bring it to your dealership for repair. The customer service wasnt the best and our advisor acted as if we were being dramatic. There was no real effort made to understand our situation as a customer and knowing that weve been coming back for the SAME issue over and over again and have paid to try and get this issue fixed. Even though this was a certified GM car it had problems from the beginning. Not sure what the standards are for your vehicles to be considered certified but I most certainly hope its not like mine. Just this year alone we have had to bring the car in for the SAME reason multiple times and your own GM mechanics can not seem to properly diagnose nor repair the problem. There is an issue with the computer and sensors and no one can figure it out. Weve spent so much money and the only thing the advisor was able to offer was a 10% discount. This is so unfortunate because we would have considered trading this car in or purchasing another one had we been treated well or if we received good customer service. I will never recommend GM cars to anyone and most certainly wont refer them to this dealership(Carl Black Roswell). They only care about money which is understandable b/c they are a business however customer satisfaction and understanding your customer is huge. Especially if you know that weve spent so much money to have this reoccurring issue repaired but your guys seem to never be able to get it right. They always seem to find the triggering issue and we pay for it but then some time later we are calling you back to have the car seen because we are having the same issue.

I took my truck in for 4 reasons - oil change, upload navigation maps I purchased a while back that never uploaded properly, get contacts to pair on the phone - it would not take a verbal command to call someone, and to fix an obvious bumping sound that occurred when driving. I had a 7:30 a.m. appointment, so decided to drop the trunk off the night before. I was asked to go ahead and pull it into the bay so that it would be first in line the next morning. When I didnt hear from anyone by noon I called to see what was happening with the truck. I was sent to voice mail. I called again at 2:00 - same thing happened - sent to voice mail. I called at 4:00 and spoke with the service manager who said the truck was just then on the rack getting oil changed...??!!! I asked why it was just getting serviced when I had dropped the car off the night before for a 7:30 appt. He told me that they had been very busy that day.... I told him that I was the first appt of the day, so that would mean that NO OTHER CARS/TRUCKS had been serviced that day. He never backed down from that excuse or offered an apology of any kind, I asked if the bumping sound had been fixed and was told that they couldnt hear it, which was BS. It had not been driven. I drove to the service center and spoke with the manager. I asked him to drive the truck with me in it. He IMMEDIATELY heard the noise which turned out to be a loose screw in whatever holds the transmission in. I asked about the maps being uploaded. He said they hadnt had time (9 hours???), and asked if I had purchased them from ebay or some other online website. I PURCHASED THEM GMC!! I was told that they didnt have time since it was closing time, and to go home and try again. The phone pairing was also not fixed. The service manager finally called out his phone number and that worked, but it still will not pair by calling out a name in my contact list. I dont usually know the phone numbers, so this feature is useless. Oh, and I had asked them to also check on the condition of my windshield washers since I was driving to Florida the next day... also not done. So what I got for having the truck in the shop overnight and for 9 business hours was a last minute oil change. Only when I arrived and raised hell did the bumping sound get fixed and the windshield wipers checked. I left with NO phone pairing and NO maps uploaded from the jump drive I provided in its original case. The whole experience was disrespectful - I felt talked down and lied to. The main reason I get my vehicle serviced at the dealer is to feel confident that the truck is in tip top condition. I no longer believe that to be true at GMC.

Shae Spurlin was a tremendous help in assisting with minimizing the amount of time spent completing necessary paperwork. She was overzealous in her efforts at assisting me with any and all issues that needed to be resolved. The sales manager and all finance employees were phenomenal in their patience and understanding with my schedule all while prepping the deal to eliminate any unnecessary time wasted. The entire staff were diligent in their work and made the entire experience far more pleasant than what I am accustomed to. Excellent experience!

Halfway home, I decided to play my radio and noticed all of my speakers was inoperable. I called back and explained to the Advisor about the issue and at first he was in disbelief that the radio issue(s) had anything to do with the current repair work. I explained to him that I had surround sound before it went into the shop and the placement of the radio station changed from where it was originally. He, then, alerted the shop and called me back to let me know that it was a software issue because they had to fix one of the sensors and that they would repair it at a later date. Being that Im getting deployed in a few days, I have to inconveniently be without music until I get back in a few months as well as take it all the way across town to the shop in question to get the radio fixed. I pray that the shop honor their words and fix this issue upon my return during the Spring/Summer of 2022.

Very nice until after the purchase, can’t get any help now that purchase is complete. Been trying to get a hold of finance department for a week, have left numerous messages and no return phone call. Tried going through my salesman and she responded I only handle the sale part of the deal. I live in a different state but if I have to drive 10 hours back to get this matter taken care of it won’t be pretty. This is for Carl Black Gmc Roswell Georgia dealership.

I really liked the cell phone message that was sent that kept me informed about the progress on my truck.Larry, regularly updated me on the progress. Larry also arranged for meet to meet with Daniel to discuss options regarding extending my trucks warranty, I was grateful for this. Larry was very courteous, as he has always been. While paying for car repairs is not high on my priority list of things I enjoy doing, I respect that they need to happen and I trust my customer service manager (Nick Rose) in the recommendations he makes to me for my Enclave. I also appreciate him breaking down the estimate by priority so we dont have to break the bank all at once. He is a really great at his job. I tell everyone that Carl Black Roswell has the best service dept in Roswell. Sounds hokey, but I say, when its time for a new car (hopefully no time soon), I plan on purchasing from CB Roswell just to stay with the service department!

My car was estimated to take 10 days to complete after a wreck and I have been without it for 7 and a half weeks now. I have no estimate on when it will be completed. Ive been given several different dates and none held true. I was put in a courtesy vehicle for a week, then told I could only put 300 miles on the vehicle (even after relaying to the team that I drive an average of 600-800 miles a week). After that week I was put in a vehicle much older and larger than my own doubling my gas bill. When I mentioned having to cancel my upcoming vacation due to not being able to drive over 300 miles or take my dog with me, I was told I could come pick up my incomplete vehicle, that the bumper just wouldnt be very strong and it would have a rattle. That is a major safety concern for me, and Im not sure why a body shop would be okay with me taking an incomplete car. This has been an awful experience with seemingly no end. Aaron Porter in the service department has been helpful and responsive, so I dont believe any of this is his fault, however Im not sure how this is acceptable from the rest of the department.

Lamont was very helpful and professional. The experience was great and very easy. This is my 4th Yukon that I have purchased from Carl Black since 2004. I never even go to any other dealership. The service and sales process is very comfortable and I know I will get the best deal so I don’t even bother going anywhere else. We have been taking our GM cars to Carl Black Buick GMC in Roswell for 7 years and have always received great service. As a result, during this period we have purchased a number of GM vehicles from this dealership - great sales and service. Pity that the GM trucks we currently own have known issues with the AC condensers that GM is not covering unless under warranty. Thats very likely to impact our next buying decision but nonetheless, if we stay with GM, this will remain our dealership of choice, they are just fantastic.

Called spoke with Laura when making appointment for oil change, alignment, rim change and a check on seatbelt restraint service that was showing at start, she at first had me for afternoon appointment but said she would move me to 10 am so that all items needed would be completed. When I got to the service department, Olivia stated that Laura doesnt know what they do and might not be able to get to it. She the called me after an hour that they did not have tpms valves or lugnuts to change out rims, she also stated that they would not be able to work on the seat belt restraint service my car was alerting. They would need to work on it all day until the morning. In other words the only thing they could do was the oil change. She stated on my receipt that I declined even though it was the service department being busy and not being able to complete the services I scheduled and brought all my work so that I could be there untill closing. Very disappointed with the lack of attempt to complete my services. Ive been to other GMC dealership and they will send out parts guy to find the items they needed. Service at Carl Black was mediocre.

Let me start off by saying this is THE BEST dealership in the area!!! I drove 4 hours from Columbia, SC solely in the fact that this dealership cares about you and will give you the BEST deal. My salesman was Dominick Fabricatore and I was very pleased with his work ethic, his honesty and his attentiveness. He literally ran around the dealership the entire time I was there through the purchase process. He also though three steps ahead on everything that way things would be set in place and ready to go while he was doing paperwork. VERY VERY pleased with him and the Carl Black Roswell GMC dealership. Gave me top dollar on my trade compared to other dealers in the area and an amazing price on my new 2021 Sierra 1500 AT4 Duramax. Everyone was nice and polite. But, Im having to ask for everything that was supposed to be included in my vehicle purchase. The manual and the extra key werent anywhere to be found. Those were brought to me me two days later. The headphones that go with the rear entertainment center werent included with the vehicle and now Im being asked to stop by the dealership to pick them up. Why should I have to do that? Why werent the items for the car I purchased available that night that I purchased them?

The right rear view mirror on my 2002 STS Caddie was damaged and I contacted Carl Black Buick GMC and was referred to Mr. Mel Pickney for repairs. The part arrived quickly and Mr. Pickney handled the repair in record time. He even assisted me dealing with Allstate Insurance in getting the insurance claim filed.. This involved Mr. Pickney contacting Allstate several time in search of a fair claim. I appreciate the high level of service and attention provided by Mr. Pickney in particular and Carl Black in general.. Several months before this repair, I had to replace the radio in the STS. I was assisted by Mr. Tommy Webb and received the same high level of service. I would recommend Carl Black Buick GMC to anyone requiring service on their GMC vehicles.

Service! Tommy Webb is the best! We bring all 3 of our GMCs to this service department for Tommy to help us. He is reliable, helpful, flexible and service is always top notch. I think the sales department is very pushy and have not bought a car from there after we tried to negotiate with them in 2017 for a new Yukon. We purchased that new Yukon at another wee dealership & this year, two used GMC vehicles elsewhere, but always use Carl Black Roswell for service, because of Tommy and their great service team.
