Chad is an excellent mechanic; Jen is a terrific front person. Have been going there for years w/ no complaints. Diagnosis of problems is always spot on, usually get exactly the appt time desired. Prices reasonable.

Under new ownership, notice the dates of any negative reviews. I have taken 4 vehicles there in the past four months. I have been promptly called after diagnostics, given options and prices, and have picked up each vehicle same or next day. I am very satisfied with the fast and friendly service both from Chad and Jen.

We took our 2013 Ford Focus in for windshield wiper issues. RATS! Chad found several chewed wires, one of which was deep into the fender well through the fire wall. Service was fast, friendly, and fairly priced. Chad and Jen were great to work with! We found our new mechanic in Prescott!

On December 24th my fuel pump went out I brought it to Chad the owner of AZ Auto Tech he stayed on Christmas Eve and fixed it so I could spend Christmas in Phoenix with my family. That was more than an act of kindness. Chad and his wife run are very professional business and Chad is an outstanding Mechanic that can be trusted. I have referred many to Az Auto Tech and all have been very pleased. When you need a great mechanic go see Chad you will be glad you did❗️

When I called with a concern about my vehicle, I was told it couldnt be fixed and its just how it is. I took it to another shop in town, and they were able to correct my suspension without a problem. However, thats not the reason I wont go back. I cannot believe how rude he was when I called with a simple question regarding my vehicle. It was absolutely uncalled for and customer service should be a priority.

Awesome experience! Traveling home to Colorado and pulling an RV when we had a diesel fuel leak. The problem was diagnosed, fixed and they got us back on the road! Highly recommend !!! Thanks Chad and Jen for rescuing us!

My GO TO Mechanic.Under New Ownership!Based on the recommendation of my neighbor, I had our 2 Magnus Renovations work truck towed to this shop after overheating and engine light alerts. My worse fears expected - like a lead weight on my chest. Chad (co-owner/tech) sent me a pic of the broken heater hose and explained its function/ behaviors. Holy moly! Our diesel has 320,000 miles on it. What a Relief - a hose?! I’ll take it! Chad replaced the hose within the hour. I asked for an oil change since the truck was due. I got the truck back in the early afternoon. My experience: (1) knowledgeable, (2) honest/friendly, and (3) quick. I also like that he recommends factory products to keep it running. It’s a work truck and I need to get back to working. Jen handles the office while Chad handles the garage. I’m happy to have found them! I’ll be taking all our vehicles to them. If you want an good/honest mechanic shop in Prescott, GO HERE!

Chad and Jen are honest, ethical, do quality work and are reasonably priced. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to them!

My father is an 83 year old Korean War Marine. He and my mother were pulling their travel trailer home to Colorado when his 05 GMC Duramax started smoking excessively pulling the Black Canyon on I17. He was going to take it to the dealer in Prescott. When my mom let me know what was happening, I made a quick search and contacted Central Az Auto Tech. Jennifer answered the phone and was a pleasure to speak with, they agreed to look at it right away. Chad dropped everything he was doing and quickly figured out the issue was a fuel rail. He had the O ring in stock and in no time had the folks back on the road. My dad and I have worked on cars, boats and motorcycles all my life and we know a great shop when we see one, dad say’s Chad and Jen’s is first rate! I would not hesitate to recommend them!

My car was making a weird noise so I brought it there upon recommendation from a friend. They said it was a fuel pump and charged me $650. When I picked it up it was raining very heavy so I did not hear the noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. I called complaining about the loud noise and was told to drop it off again for the day which cost me $50 for a taxi as I had no ride. When I picked it up, they said they put a new fuel pump in and the noise would go away. They lied. The noise got worse. I brought it back AGAIN for the third time. The worst part is the whole time the owner Gary was smiling and patronizing me like I was some kind of idiot. They failed to fix it for a third time. The noise is so loud I have to play the radio constantly which is such a joy as my cd player doesnt work so I have to hear ads all the time - but thats preferable to the noise. Dont bring your car here - you will be ripped off! I told him I was going to get it repaired somewhere else and give him the bill - he said that is not their policy, but they cant fix it! They offered me no other recourse. This was an aggravating waste of time, gas and 6 trips to this stupid so called garage. Terrible, terrible business.

If you value your vehicle, DONT VISIT THIS SHOP!!! Their workmanship is shoddy, the ownership is shady and you may even lose your vehicle. Watch out for their $80.00 per day in storage fees that theyll hit you with. If youre a veteran or a member of public safety, they do not display any regard for your service. Worst company Ive ever dealt with!!!
