A decent bestbuy. Parking is good but hours are short. The product collection is not that great and most of the products are hidden in shelves and you need a staff member to unlock it for you. The staff is patient and very knowledgeable. A nice place in city to buy your electronics.

BEFORE YOU GO: If youre going to pick up an online order, you should know that they have no logical, organized system for you to get your order(s). As youll see in the first picture below, the yellow arrow is where the sign says online/phone order pickup, so naturally, thats where you would stand to pick up your order. But no! Theres a sign (see the purple arrow) that says line starts here. Apparently, all the lines start there-- for geek squad, returns, and yes, online order pickup. After standing in the wrong (technically right) place for 10 minutes, I and another gentleman asked a worker how do we pick up our orders. Thats when we found out that the long line (purple arrow) was where we were supposed to be the whole time. Now, this wouldnt have been as bad if we hadnt stood there for 10 minutes, with multiple employees walking past us and saying nothing. If we hadnt stopped someone and asked, wed probably still be standing there right now. Anyway, hopefully youll read this and you wont make the mistake I made. As we stood in the line, we saw more people come in, dealing with the same confusion, and tempers were flaring.Aside 1: the only reason I went inside to pick up my order was because the curbside line wasnt moving. (See photo 2)Aside 2: I just went to the Best Buy in Springfield a few days ago and the person at the door asks you what you need, and tells you where to go. I was in and out. See -- simple solutions.

This location is MUCH BETTER than other Best Buy’s. Sales staff attitude, competence and willingness to help is MUCH BETTER than most. The Company should have this manager train some other locations. I am ordering over 4k$ after thinking I would not buy as Best Buy again!

Great place for electronics however Im a little disappointed because I found out that the laptop that I bought 3 or 4 months ago is not capable of handling Xbox games so I returned the controller that I bought there along with my IPhone vlog kit that I mistakenly baught thinking it was for Android as well...but thats life now isnt it?

This Best Buy that is the closest to Philadelphia city center. Quite large and has almost all electronic items that you may want. They dont have much available options in laptop.They will ask you to put an order.Do perform a check online before going in person whether the product you want is available at this store, as there have been a few items that have been out of stock or unavailable when I checked.Gaming gadget section is pretty good.

Took 45 minutes to get help in the cell phone section. I asked 5 blue shirts and they all said that it wasnt their department. I walked back and forth up and down the aisles. They didnt have the color Galaxy Buds I wanted but the guy that finally rang me up actually gave me some great advice that didnt involve Best buy. He said buy the blue ones on Amazon for 25.00 less and come return the black ones. And they were out of a lot of the refurbished stuff online he said they come from the warehouse.Not a bad trip in a heatwave.

I am horrified by the customer service here. God forbid you have to make a return. Best Buy.... this will be short and effective. Made an in store purchase, received an email receipt, and it seems they gave me multiple Member ID numbers based on the fact that I have 3 names even though all Member IDs have the exact same email and phone number attached 😒 so GUESS WHAT, if I have to make a return, I have to call the number that is ALWAYS busy(oh wait, they just simply do not accept calls anymore how convenient!) OR speak to someone via the chat online which (oh yeah, this account could already be linked to the wrong Member ID number). Therefore, good luck finding the order in my history at all. Just inconvenient. Archaic system for it to be Best Buy. IF YOU MAKE A PURCHASE AND KNOW YOU HAVE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS JUST MERGE THE DAMN ACCOUNTS. Charge wld be $40.00 and after installing if I wanted it to be chkd wld cost even more. Since this was the first time my son and I been to Columbus Commons here in Philly, I would like to say, if you live in a different part of Philly make sure youre on the bus that will take you to center. Now back to the comments. My son and I were met with a gentleman named Miles. He was very professional and polite and he explained the difference between ryzen and intel. While my son and I were debating about getting a tower or a laptop ( my son won with the laptop) another professional helped us with the Dell and luckily for us it was on sale. He was kind and knowledgeable (I forget his name. Charge it to my mind and not my heart.) The atmosphere was pleasant, clean, helpful and above all, everyone was wearing masks. So, if you are ever in that part of South Philly stop by the Best Buy your pockets will thank you.

I love this place; every time I go in there, I want to stay for hours and hours to buy the Best buy and usually get something little as a phone cord or firestick... Great place to shop... I did get a Laptop (HP Envy) 5 years ago that Geek Squad made an effort to help me with since it needs a lamp and/a screen refacing. UGHHH HELP!

My only major critique of Best Buys is their open box practice (it currently is the recycling of products returned for poor performance). Sales people do not tell you that the open box program sells you a USED product, most often returned because it had something wrong with it. Excellent does not mean without a fault. Practice is fraudulent and counter to FTC regulations.

I was being gifted an item that I had to pick up.After visiting multiple times late i n the day, after being told my order was being delivered that day or it was on the truck. I started calling just before going to the store to be told they couldnt tell where the order was. Finally the order arrived. It was returned and an up grade was bought. Thank goodness it was delivered in a third of the time.

There is still a need for brick and mortar for technology purchases... There as to be right? I love walking through Best Buy, its like my version of an adult toy store. Only problem these days is the in-store inventory is LACKING. Also, how do you not check their prices against Amazon.On my most recent visit I made a purchase and was excited to get home and configure my new toy, but something said to check the price online and I found the same item online with next day delivery for 25% less and it was a bundle deal. Normally I would ask for price matching but Best Buy didnt have any inventory in-store. Most of the shelves are bare. Also, the lady at the counter wasnt the nicest person. So I went back and return my purchase 5 minutes later.Unless you need it now, or looking for an open box mega deal (Hint Hint Best Buy - Open box mega deals), save the gas buy online.

The staff is helpful, great thumbs up for the Samsung guy.4 stars because they really need to stock up. They dont have much in stock. PS5 and graphic cards aside, they also dont have much stock of phones, psu batteries and so on.Surprised that they only sell Corsair thermal paste lol basically half of the price is for the brand.Overall I left with a positive experience in the place.

The Best Buy in S. Philly was helpful. I needed to exchange a Universal remote Id bought the day before at the Best Buy in Willow Grove. I dont live near Willow Grove but I happened to be in that area. When I bought the Universal remote home I saw that the tip needed to connect to the laptop was missing. That was a real bummer.I went to S. Philly and they were easy to deal with and appeared to want to help me unlike the folks at the Willow Grove store.As per Best Buy stores at this time, the Best Buy in S. Philly had one very long line for everything: returns and exchanges, and purchases. However, before people could really start ratcheting up the complaints the line was moving and things were getting done quickly. Good job Best Buy in S.Philly!

Brought in my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 128GB Intel i5 Silver for trade in. Valued $100 on their website. The women who work in there told me they can only offer $20 because the hinge has a lot friction. Sent it in through mail instead and got the $100 value verified instead. The hinge has friction so it can hold the surface on the table. Either train your employee or get someone who know tech. Wasted half an hour waiting in line for this.

I have always liked Best Buy and this particular store is a good one. They are limiting the number of customers at one time because of Covid, which is smart and responsible, and people working the front door are very nice. I was able to buy a small TV at a great price and was in and out in no time. All in all, would highly recommend, although you might want to get there when they first open. For a weekday, there was a pretty long line to get in at around 11:00 a.m.

Kudos to having the item I wanted; however, you have to work out a better plan to service clientele. Went on Thanksgiving Eve and they were not allowing customers in. You wait in line for about an hour or more, give them your order and then check out...at the front door. Not the safest measures for your customers. Hoping this is not a continual thing. Ten stars for Jeff in the phone department! But three stars for the slow system. As an employee of an employer with slow systems that crash sometimes, I personally know it can be frustrating but Jeff never seemed frustrated. He was upbeat, kind, patient, and he kept my mother and I informed through every delay and step and was a great source of conversation! He never even complained about the system being slow. He politely mentioned that the system sometimes takes a little longer than anticipated. Kudos for Jeffs amazing customer service.

Could possibly be due to the pandemic but I went to the store for a car audio amp and didnt get any real help in that area. Maybe they are understaffed. The selection of car stereo items was really limited and a bit overpriced. I did end up purchasing an amp out of necessity but if I can stand to wait in the future, Ill order online and get exactly what I want. I recently bought a macbook here and had no issues with the item or service. However, this item was purchased through bestbuy.com and I was able to do curbside pickup.

This is a nice sized location with helpful employees. There are a few who will try hard to avoid you, but I ran into a few great ones in the vamera and computer department. This Best Buy has a great selection, and customer service is great. I would definitely recommend this location. I saw a great selection of drones.
