After paying a repairman,ordering parts only to find out that my dryer was beyond repair I was not eager to spend a crazy amount on a new dryer. I was in and out of Gerhardt with in 20 minutes with a new dryer on its way for a great price (100 less than Lowes/homedepot). I gave 5 stars on the assumption it will be here in friday as expected.

Advertise as scratch and dent but they only had three scratch and dent items and the rest of the show room were new items so they should delete the scratch and dent advertisement, they weren’t very helpful they stayed behind the counter. Home Depot or Lowe’s are much better

Went in on Friday and checked out a few of the many refrigerators they had in stock. Mark suggested I check out one of the ones at the warehouse online that would be more what I wanted. Sure enough I found the perfect one. Went in on Sunday morning and Mark was there again and he verified that it would actually fit into my house. After that he turned me over to the finance specialist Lori who was able to find my info right away and explain the rebate I was getting. She also made sure I understood all the terms of the one year interest free program they offer. It couldnt have been easier and with the extended warranty I got I can rest easy. If youre looking for any major appliance dont hesitate to shop here as they take care of every detail for you. Thanks guys!

Mark is the absolute BEST!! Gerhards was the ONLY appliancee store that took the time to explain why there was a shortage of refrigerators and to assure me that my refrigerator (that they ordered for me) would be installed in approximately a month. I highly recommend Gerhards!!

I recently needed a new oven. I was in the store for a couple of minutes looking at the ovens they had on the floor, and an associate by the name of Mark attemtpted to help me. I explained my dilemma in that I was limited in space and had only 27 inches to deal with on the width of the oven because my dish washer door would not open with anything bigger. He went behind the counter to look up specs on a unit, and told me he would have to do some research and get back to me but it would not be today. He wrote my name on a piece of disposable paper. We walked back on the floor and I went over to the oven and asked if trhere was a way to cut the handle, and his reply was, I dont know, but I have to move on. I looked around the store and there was only one other customer in the store and he was being helped. I immediately walked out of the strore. Incidentally, it is three days later and MArk never callled, Mark, in my opinion, approached me with an attitude, and it went down hill from there. He was very arragant as well and could care less about the customer. I had one other poor experience with the same store about 5 years ago and also walked out of the store. I will never shop that store again. I went to Blonders appliance store and it was a difference of night and day. They made suggestions to help with my problem, and istead of redoing my kitchen, I wound up purchasing a new double oven, and under the cabinet microwave and a smaller diswasher and now everything will fit. SHAME on you Mark for your behavior. You need to take a lesson in Customer Service 101. If I was your boss, you would have been fired on the spot!! With the attitude that you display, you should not be dealing with people.

I wanted a no bells, no whistles refrigerator that had a freezer on top. The major stores had ridiculous wait times for delivery. I called Gerhards and they were able to get me exactly what I wanted, with only a 2 week delivery, not to mention within my budget. I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes time. Very Respectful delivery men, being careful not to knick our walls, doors or railings. This very good experience will make them my only choice next time I need an appliance.

I havent rated this yet because I am awaiting on the way the store will handle my issue today. I just purchased a Speed Queen washer from Gerhard for my daughters birthday and it was installed 11/15/19. She went to use it on 11/16/19 and it wasnt working. I will be contacting the store today to see how this will be handled. Speed Queen do not offer sales on there products because they extend 10 year warranties. I am very anxious to see how my issue is corrected since this was a gift. I will follow-up.

I got a new fridge delivered last week. I was a little annoyed that they were late, however, they made up for it with excellent service. The delivery men were very nice and knowledgeable about their job. They didn’t damage one single thing in my home and it was a bit of a challenge getting it in the door. They did an excellent job of hooking everything up and telling me what I needed to do. Excellent service and quality product!!! This is my second large appliance purchase from them and I am completely satisfied!

My fiancé and I recently bought a washer and dryer from Gerhard’s. The customer service was wonderful from the moment we walked in to the time we left. Not only were we given a paper receipt, but also an electronic one immediately after purchase which is convenient! The day before our scheduled delivery I received a call, text, and email to confirm. They were on time and friendly! We’re renovating our kitchen soon, and definitely going to use Gerhard’s again!

If I could give them zero stars I would!!! Sales rep Jessica is awful. The manager is absolutely awful. Took advantage of elderly people and tried to get more money out of them after selling them the wrong thing! Call customer service and they were told to contact the store. Call the store and Jessica was no help, explaining that they would have to pay another $125 for the piece to be installed again after they messed it up in the first place. Spoke to manager and it’s the same story. Company sucks, customer service sucks, rude to customers. Should be ashamed of themselves. I’ll be sure to contact corporate and we’ll see what happens, because this is absurd

Made the purchase on 5/4/19. Made for delivery and installation. Delivery was late on the first day and the refrigerator handles were damaged. They were replaced with no issues. During the day of delivery a water line was supposed to be installed. The delivery men stated that they were unable to install the waterline. I called the store and was told that I needed someone else to come out and do a survey. I was told that I would have to pay for the survey however this was waived after going back and forth. I was also told that there would be an additional out of pocket cost for the waterline which was not in fine print. No one could tell me how much this cost would be. Now I have a refrigerator with a water and ice making feature that I may not be able to use if the cost was something I was not willing to pay. When I called the store for information no one could give me information other than the person who completed my purchase; I continued to be told I had to wait until that person was available and she was out a couple days before I could get a response. Even the person who completed my purchase was unsure of the questions I had in regards to this potential extra cost. Giovanni came out and was able to install the water line at no additional cost. The water line was leaking. I called multiple times and chose the delivery and installation option and received no answer. I called another day and the line kept getting disconnected. I left a voicemail message no call back. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager in reference to my dissatisfaction with the whole process and was forwarded to a voicemail and never received a call back. Giovanni finally called to come back out and fix the water line and it has been successfully completed. Still have not received a call from the Roosevelt Blvd store manager. The day of purchase everyone was nice and accommodating, beyond that I felt like I could not get much help. Giovanni, the man who installed the waterline was the only person who did not give me the run around and kept the lines of communication open if there were any issues or delays. This was my first big purchase form Gerhards and I dont think Id ever purchase again after this experience. It would have been nice to at least receive a call from a manager or someone after spending almost $3000 in your store! Once everything was complete it was 5/3/19.

The worst customer service experience that Ive ever had. Go anywhere, but here. We spent several thousand dollars on a new kitchen package (refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher). The dishwasher was dented when it was unpacked. At that point, they requested service to replace the front panel. When the service tech came to replace the panel, he attempted to run it and it failed. We then had to schedule another service tech call. This oen could not figure out the problem and simply had me reset the circuit breaker several times to try to reboot the system. The error code cleared. He left with it in a wash cycle to test it. It failed before the end of the wash. This led to another service call, where the tech could not fix the problem and had to call frigidaire. At this point, we have yet another service call schedule. The company refuses to admit that they sold us a bad unit. They should replace it. Even if they finally get this lemon to work, I worry that it will break again in the short term. It NEVER worked. Gerhards and Frigidare dropped the ball on this one. Stay away, far away from this company.

Purchased a new dishwasher here after looking at HomeDepot, Lowes, and BestBuy. None of those stores had the one I planned to get in stock and the rep I spoke to at one of them (to her credit) explained to me why I should not to use their installation service. Talking with the Gerhard rep, he was knowledgable regarding the machine I had been considering and raised valid points that made me opt for a different machine. I had Gerhard remove my old machine and install it. They arrived within the scheduled time, were polite and efficient. Ive only had it a week, but have been very happy with it so far.

I went to the store purchased all new appliances for my kitchen. the doors on the fridge were not leveled, i called many times to let them know the door was messed up. they sent out a tech who told me theres no way of fixing it that it just needed to be replaced. they then sent out another tech and he too said it needs to just be replaced. and then today 8/7/19 they said theyre going to send out ANOTHER tech i waited from 8-1 no one called or showed up. i then called the manufacture who told me that gerhards has to replace the fridge that has NOT been used yet because it does not look as advertised (WHICH THEIR EMPLOYEE TOLD ME I WOULD BE CHARGED A RESTOCKING FEE FOR AN ITEM THAT HAS A DEFECT). it is a very expensive item and theyre completely blowing me off and do not want to replace it. i also purchased the exhaust that goes above the stove THREE months ago and have yet to receive that item. i would not recommend gerhards to anyone. awful costumer service. youd think that spending 9,000.00 would at least guarantee your items being what you expect... AWFUL.

By far the WORST buying experience I have ever witnessed. Mr mother spent a total of over 2 hours there between 2 visits. The salesman was incompetent and told my mother I did not have the right hookup for installation... which I did. He did not know the answers to her questions and the manager kept his distance and did not offer assistance.When they finally sold my mother a washer and dryer, the dryer, they called her afterwards and said it was back-ordered. They told her it would be an additional week but they were not sure. They offered a mere $25 discount on the floor model. When my mother told the manager she was going to report her experience he told her If you are going to report me then I am done helping you. He later back tracked when she told him saying something like that could cost him his job.The delivery men are at my house right now. NO WASHER! They only delivered the dryer.DO NOT SHOP HERE. I rarely, if ever, write reviews but I felt I needed to in this case. Again, I would never recommend this store to anyone. Furthermore I will never set foot in this store again.

Linda Gerhard promised to price match a dishwasher by using 3 rebates. I received 2 out of 3 and asked why I never got the 3rd. Its now 7 months and no 3rd rebate and Linda has completely blown me off. Dont try calling after the sale is made because youll be on hold forever or call dropped. I have never been more frustrated, angry, or inconvenienced in my life. Our refrigerator broke and we lost a few hundred dollars worth of food. We thought that was bad enough. Went to Gerhards to find a specific refrigerator that we wanted. They said no problem and ordered it after we paid a lot of money for a brand new refrigerator and were promised they’d have it in a week or so (no longer than a week and a half). We scheduled the delivery and had to make all kinds of arrangements so that someone could be home during the time frame they gave on the delivery date. We were told 1-4pm. Well, 4:30pm the delivery truck pulled up and the delivery man called us out to show us that the refrigerator was badly damaged. It had such a huge dent that the door wouldn’t close on it. We didnt pay all of that money for a NEW refrigerator to have a broken one show up. We didn’t accept the delivery, of course, and called the store. Rich who sold it to us said we could just keep it and he’d take some money off and refund a couple hundred dollars. If a fridge door doesn’t shut what is the point???? Obviously $200 off of a $1200 fridge to keep a severely damaged fridge is NOT an option. Rich promised he’d order a new one and we’d have it in a week. We again were told it was scheduled to come on a specific day and timeframe. Again we had to rearrange schedules ahead of time to assure someone would be home. We received a call the night before and were told that it hadn’t arrived to the warehouse for delivery so they cancelled it. We got a call the next day (original delivery date) that they now had the fridge and we’d be getting it the next day. We switched schedules, canceled appointments etc so someone would be home. Early that morning we got a call from Rich again that the fridge they had was the WRONG one!!!! Now we are going on almost three weeks without a fridge. Then Rich proceeds to tell us it will take TEN DAYS before they could get the correct fridge and deliver it. Now we sit and wait. I have two kids, my 90 year old grandmother and mother all using our spare fridge that doesn’t work well and we just use for the freezer basically. Making lunches, dinners etc has been hell. I am not counting on actually getting this refrigerator in the ten day period. We are trying hard to find it at a different store and buy it elsewhere. The customer service is horrible, the staff doesn’t communicate with each other making most information false and they can’t even produce what they have promised.I will update if we ever actually receive our purchase or if we have to find it elsewhere. Just a warning; if you shop at Gerhards prepare yourself for a big headache and a lot of extra stress.UPDATE: That ten days turned into a much longer time frame with us waiting until Sept 27th. This was a Sept 3rd order. We have had it!! Went in for a refund and took our money elsewhere. Our new refrigerator will be delivered this weekend!! We will never go back to that store again and hope others think twice before shopping there. The thing that really got me was when after all of this they said it wasn’t their fault. At least take responsibility for your mistakes!!! Looking forward to our Best Buy refrigerator coming this weekend.....finally!
