Due to circumstances outside of Sears control, my order became delayed by a few weeks. Richard, and his team, did everything they could to communicate with me and coordinate new dates and times that worked best with me. This team did everything within their power to maintain communication, professionalism, and friendliness. Customer service at its finest. Even with the delays (again, out of their control) I would not hesitate to go back. 10/10.

We had purchased a Samsung fridge that turned out to be a lemon - it wasnt built correctly at the factory. The warranty process had been frustrating (to say the least!) so we were already upset before we went into the store. But the manager listened to us and made things right! We are pleased to have a similar model WORKING fridge in our home just as he promised. Will shop at this store again!

Just another Sears home and appliance center. My washing machine is going out, so I was headed to Sears outlet on Front street, for a scratch and dent bargain. Place had changed, no longer accepts sears cards, so i was referred to this Overland Park location. No scratch and dents, just a showroom similar to the hometown locations. Not much in stock either. Most items had to be ordered for delivery no less. Same prices as the internet website for the most part. But at least one can look over the features of each model. Kind salespeople, but shorthanded. Last summers closing hurt the employees as well as the store. However, the sales team was motivated once the store reopened & they were allowed to return. We looked over the differences between a few models and the salesman actually showed us how the WiFi feature worked. Comfortable, non pressured atmosphere.

Incredible service from the store manager, Richard! He worked with us on short notice and alleviated our concerns while going above and beyond. If you have any questions or delays in products, he is the one you want to talk to! He took time out of his day to make sure we got what we needed.

This review is based on the performance of Richard in Appliances at the Overland Park store. Thanks to Richard, Sears might still get a sale on a freezer I ordered online in July 2020 with a first expected delivery date of Aug 4, then Sept 4, then Oct 5. Richard discovered that my record indicated the date was moved to Oct 29 ON Sept 29 and Sears would notify me. THAT never happened. So, thanks again to Richard, he is researching some upright freezers with a confirmed delivery date. Stay tuned for the outcome.

Im a grandma looking for a new refrigerator without all the bells and whistles in almond color. Sears had exactly what I wanted on the floor but new policy said they would not deliver it. After a couple hours with Richard Herring helping me try to locate something else I was ready to quit and go home. Richard went to bat for me and got permission to have it delivered. I am so grateful for his extra effort on my behalf. Even in these risky days I gave him a well deserved hug! Ive bought appliances at Sears for 40 years. Im so glad I got the help I needed. In response to Annette Moorshead who responded to the GMs response in response to Annette Moorsheads post.....A couple of points when shopping here or anywhere for that matter:1. I have personally purchased multiple big ticket Items from the GM and his wonderful team of associates and never once have I experienced anything but top service which tells me that you are using a hyperbole when you reference your horrible experience.2. When shopping at any place, not just Sears, and there is bad connection, there are a few options. Understand that it happens and try to call back later OR go in, maintain social distancing and use a mask, enter the store and politely shop in person in their safe clean environment. Jumping to getting angry and slandering them on a google review page....is that really the best option?And finally....3. Seriously? If you want to talk about professionalism, using big words to try and rattle people is not professional. Also, the GM responded and tried to reason with you and what did you do? Called them out...again. So, here is what we do from here, dont shop here thats fine, but let others make their own decision on whether to shop here without your outrageous statements and let others experience that good service they provide. They cannot help what they have in stock or if something gets delayed. Thats not their fault. They are not trying to Harm you as a customer, they are a business and trust me, they will continue to do business with other customers with our without your money....so please, be kind and understand that we are all people and its not PROFESSIONAL to call people out as you did. Im sure you would HATE to see something like this if your roles were flipped and YOU had to deal with customers like yourself....remember that when you take your money elsewhere. Its people like yourself that make everybody working in retail hate their job. SO thanks for that.Thanks sears! Hang in there and keep being awesome.

I have been waiting longer than expected so I decided to write a review. One young man came over when I was looking at the set of washing machine and dryer I had already picked out to purchase. UPS delivered a bicycle I ordered to your store in March. I did not buy the bicycle from Sears. It was delivered to your store instead of my daughter’s home. I have been calling your store for months trying to resolve this problem. No one answers the phone & the recording tells the caller to leave a message but the message box is full. There’s no mention of the store being closed now on the recording or the website (there was a Covid msg on the website that is no longer there). My daughter even drove to the store to see if she could talk to someone but it is closed. Is there any way to retrieve the bicycle?

If you buy something under warranty it’ll take weeks to get fixed or replaced. You’ll also spend hours on the phone with people you can’t understand English very well and will just continually transfer you instead of help. I’m always very polite but this company is trash and will drive you up the wall. So glad they’re failing.

The guy employee whom helped me was very friendly. The manager never once said hello to me or smiled. She was getting a few calls and doing things. However, i was the only one in the store from the time it opened until the time i left. I am certain I was there about 40 minutesThats inexcusable. She was near me a few times. If not for him I would have left and shopped at another store. I did like the selection. The store was very clean.

Update:- It is still slower and kind of messy to pick up online orders. But adding couple more stars as everytime we go in, they are very nice and helpful. They look like doing their best with what they have which is a tedious system.Went in to pick up online orders. Although the employees were very nice, they took forever to find it. Not at all co-ordinated. And to top it they promise everything in 5 minutes. Good joke.

Richard and his staff saved Christmas! Sears online order system sent an email stating my item arrived when it hadnt. Richard and his team went above and beyond to resolve the situation and make sure we had our item in time for Christmas. I greatly appreciate his effort to go above and beyond!

Took a little over 30 minutes to complete a transaction that should have taken 10 minutes or less. Just received an email saying my order had been cancelled. I wont be going back. Good luck, Sears; youre going to need it.A side note: the people working there that assisted me were all polite and professional, so the low review is not directed at them. Its all on Sears for how they cancelled my order literally an hour or so after it had been placed.

Nice store the employees seemed knowledgeable. I was disappointed there were no tools or lawn and garden, just appliances and lots of mattresses. Therefore no reason to just stop in and browse. Otherwise it was about what I expected, a scaled down store with no clothing, shoes or things like that. I hope it does well and keeps the Sears name alive a little longer.

Very rude sales people.. especially the manager.. actually told his associates to not sell items to my 80 yr old GPA bc he apparently had an attitude. Which he did only after manager was rude from the start. Missed out on selling a washer and dryer set
