First of all,whit was the best!!! He got there very fast and was very efficient. Hes got just the right balance between professional and friendly. He enjoys helping and it shows. If I have a choice I wouldnt. Use any other company.

UPDATE/Response from owner: I called Keford towing the day after the accident to get my car towed to the collision center. I only got a phone call from Keford towing 2 days after my accident and was badgered by the staff to get my work done there.I was in an accident and Keford was called by the police. The tow truck came quickly. I have no complaints about the towing from the road to their facility. Getting them to move the car to the collision place (preferred by my insurance company) was a nightmare. It took them 3 days to move it despite phone calls from me and the collision place. Each time we called, we were both told it would be moved same/next day and it wasnt. Apparently it is common for them to not move vehicles quickly so they can rack up storage fees.I was also badgered by staff to get the work done by the Keford collision center. Even though I said no, they pushed further. The lack of professionalism and dealing with my situation makes me glad I did not go to them for my collision repairs.

I had Keford move a hi-low from my old building to my new building. They responded fast and promptly. Brain was very professional and knew what he was doing and had it hooked up in no time! All around great service and will use again!

Original towing company came and couldn’t help me. Insurance company resent Ray from Keford towing and he knew exactly what to do and got my car up and towed within 10 minutes. Ray was also cool and explained what was going to happen prior and throughout the process. Ray and Keford towing were great definitely would recommend and use again. Thanks Ray!

Rebecca called me while waiting on the truck to pick my car up and rudely told me that they needed 140.00 for them to pickup my car because her drivers were busy and couldn’t come out of their way to pickup my car for only $45.00 mine you I’m only 8 miles from their shop, but that’s the agreed upon price on their contract with my provider. I called OnStar and advised them of what she told me and they called them and made them come and get me. I did not want to use them but she assured me there would be no problems. What if I was stranded on the side of road would she still have left me there until 1:30 pm when they finally came. How many other people did She call and demand more money from???? I started my call at 7:20 am and I finally got a response from the the Keford around 11:30,. Let me be clear the driver was very polite and professional. When you have an agreement with a company don’t try and make up rules that will benefit you outside of the company because it’s a snow storm and your busy that’s why you signed up toDo the job for $45.00. One person will tell 25 people about their bad experience and I’m connected to way more then 25 people. I will be calling the BBB as well. Let’s just be honest business People.

My wife and I both concluded dealing with this Towing company, Keford Novi Towing was the worst customer service experience ever!In summary, my car was stolen from my home and found crashed in a mall public parking lot. The local police informed us they would have the vehicle towed to a local Collison shop (since the vehicle had been totaled and was not drivable). That Collison shop turned out to be Keford Novi Towing. After getting the necessary paperwork from the police department I went to Keford to retrieve my car. I was greeted with a service agent who had a very aggressive diminutive tone after I asked questions as to why I was required pay fees for which I was victim of stolen car/police towing. The agent scolded me as I was a child and denied me getting the necessary items out my car until I agreed to pay the fee. I left the towing company without my car that day as I was not comfortable with the aggressive nature of the agent. My wife returned at later time and proceeded to deal with the same agent only to experience the same attitude. The service agent had no sensibility with regards to the situation (car stolen, car totaled, etc.) and was very diminutive. We decided to donate the car however the agent informed us we would have to pay additional fees just to get the car towed out of their yard. This was supposedly because no towing service (AAA, Charity Motors, etc.) possess the “right insurance” to tow out of there location. Overall, I was shocked at how unprofessional, insensible, and down-right nasty we were treated as customers. My wife/I decided the best course of action was to pay the fees and move on from the situation, however I wanted to warn those who have the OPTION of utilizing this company services to think twice before doing business with them!BTW – No bad experience from tow truck drivers just the staff which operates the business!

I had to call Lincoln Roadside Service to tow my vehicle to the dealership because of battery issues. Car would not start even after I jumped it. After I called service and they sent a towing service to my house, I decided to try one last time to jump with portable battery. It started up and I decided to drive around a bit to charge up the battery. In the meantime, Keford Towing showed up to my house and, obviously, I wasnt there and neither was my car, but Ray from Keford Towing waited patiently for me to come back. I appreciated that because it was hot that day and he could have left but didnt. Extremely nice guy, loaded up my car and within minutes it was gone. It arrived at the dealership promptly! Thanks, Ray for your service!

Friendly guy came out to tow. $200 is more than I expected to pay ($5 per mile for 15 miles), but he was careful and fast.

We waited over 3 hours for another towing company that never showed up so we were very pleased that Keford arrived about 30 mins after our insurance company called them. They also texted to let us know they were on the way and after they arrived. The communication was great and the driver was very pleasant and helpful.

Honestly I’d prefer to give them no stars. I waited close to 3 hrs from someone to show up. Now I understand emergencies happen and I also understand they work with police however as courtesy, they had my phone number and simply could have advised but they didn’t. Secondly, my husbands vehicle had a ball joint/tie rod break. When the gentlemen was preparing put our vehicle on the flat bed, he dropped the Jack too quickly and did not have the block in place to avoid additional damage. When our vehicle came down, it dropped to the ground and popped/snapped the strut that wasn’t visibly damaged. Now instead of the repair of our tie rod, we are left with additional repairs due to their negligence. I understand stuff happens but the gentleman was rude, did not offer an apology for dropping our vehicle or for even being extremely late. I would not recommend

This place has been in business since the early 1950s. I brought my work truck here, for repairs after an accident. I dealt with the owners Tom and Tim, they are top notch, and I know my work truck will be in great hands. I inquired about getting my personal vehicle painted and the owner Tom was kind and extremely helpful. Heres to many more years of successful business, great job, thanks alot guys!!

My truck was towed to Keford from the scene of an accident and the process wasnt too difficult once we arrived on site, however the staff did not wear any face mask/coverings nor enforced customers to and it was very uncomfortable doing business here. Please reconsider the precautions being taken here.

My boyfriend had his car towed by this company. The driver was great, office people a whole other story. I was told one price on the phone he went there and it was way more. On top of that the rudeness that came along with the experience is enough to make us never want to deal with them again. Who runs a company like this? Highly not recommend feel bad for the drivers there for having to deal with the rude office people. The manager or owner needs to get a handle on them.

Fast! I put in a request for towing and was quoted a 45 minute wait. Nope! 30 minutes. The tow guy Willie was super nice. He was knowledgeable and got me to the repair shop quick. Definitely will use them again and would easily recommend to friends and family. Thanks guys.

Needed a tow through AARP and Keford is who they came up with. Waited and only once the driver was near was I asked Do you have a ride lined up?. I dont blame Keford for this fact given Covid restrictions & being in the middle with AARP and such, but on a winter day when my dog and I are stuck along the side of the road 2hrs away from home... *shrugs* Just something new to deal with. The driver and I worked something out, but def. keep this in mind as a possibility to face.Tow was great & driver friendly.

Guys were very professional got me back on the road very quickly and knew what needed to be done. Did it in the pouring rain as well. Service was PHENOMINAL and second time I’ve used Keford. Definitely recommend them. Only thing to improve was the time to get to me. But was understandable considering late night and storms had them busy.

(REWROTE THIS REVIEW):I am sorry, but I just had to go from 5 stars to 2. I got into a collision last week, and my car was automatically sent to Keford. I came Tuesday with my father, and saw the damage. Thankfully, it wasnt that bad and we thought it was drive-able, since we wanted to take it to another auto repair shop near my fathers work place. The man said we cant take the car, and that it wasnt in good condition to drive, so we respected his opinions, and instead, he had the car towed over to the shop.The car came in today, and when the auto repair worker saw it he questioned us why we didnt drive it over, since the bill came out a total of $500. He told us that the car was in okay condition to drive, and turns out that my garage remote was missing as well. It was extremely weird, and my father looked everywhere in my car to look for it. We sadly couldnt find it, so I called Keford about this issue. They told me it probably fell off during the collision, but I remember seeing it after the collision when I went to go grab my remaining things from the car right before it was going to get towed. I am very disappointed in this situation, and am not satisfied with their service at all. They were selfish about this, and now I am missing a $50-75 garage remote.

Yes, you could not tow peoples cars just because you have a contract with Novi police department, and using the excuse it is undrivable, when it was clearly able to drive right off of your lot

I was extremely disappointed in the estimated time vs. the real time they showed up. I was told 30 minutes and it ended up being 2 hours. If they would’ve told me 2 hours then I could’ve gone to my friend’s house .25 miles from where I was located and waited there instead of sitting in my car at night time in a winter storm on a street with no street lights with half my minivan sticking out in the road.I will say once they arrived they were wonderful!!! Collin was professional and very friendly despite what I assumed was a rough night. He was even nice enough to wait until I was out of the subdivision and back on a main road before leaving. Collin is the only reason I can recommend Keford Towing.

Took my Yukon Denali in to get repaired from an accident that I had! They were great! The front office staff really helped me figure everything out with our insurance and got everything set up! I went to pick it up today and to my surprise they washed my whole car and even detailed my car on the inside! Such a great experience with them. They kept me up to date on everything. Will definitely use them for all my needs in the future.

Wow wow wow. Have used auto body shops for my cars on at least 5 different occasions. This by far was my best experience. On August 12, 2019 we came out of Optimeyes in Milford and discovered we had a flat tire. My husband got on the phone to our insurance company and they contacted Keford Towing. Being out of town (Lansing area) you never know what kind of service you are going to get. Josh came to our rescue and had to have us towed to Belle Tire in Novi. He treated us like we were good friends or one of his family members. Never expected such great service. I would recommend Keford Towing to anyone. You do a great job Josh!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. I got into a car accident and was unable to call for roadside so this company was called. The new guy could barely get the car on the bed. He got a part stuck and everything. I stood outside in the cold and rain for an extra 30 minutes because of it. The police officer at the scene told the driver to take my car wherever I wanted. I gave him the address and left all my belongings in the car because he said he would meet us there. He even put the address in his GPS and confirmed it with us. After an hour of waiting I called to get his ETA only to find out he took my car back to their lot instead. They basically stole my vehicle at that moment and left my daughter and I out in the streets that night. All this happened because the new guy wasnt trained properly on the rules and procedures. I had to make a complaint with the police department because they basically stole my vehicle. They gave me the run around for days trying to get my belongings out of my car. Even though I confirmed with two different people I could get my items before arriving. At one point a young man behind the desk by the name of Josh was very rude to me and my mother. Claiming he was overworked, didnt have to deal with us to begin with, and threatened to kick us out. I wish my insurance company wouldnt have paid them a dime because they didnt deserve it. They were inconsiderate, unorganized, and very unprofessional. No one should have to go through what I went through especially after being involved in an accident that wasnt even my fault. Beware of this company. I will be making complaints to the BBB and any other place that will listen and can prevent this from happening to others. By far the worst business Ive ever been forced to deal with.

I’m not entirely sure where all these bad reviews are coming from. I could most certainly speak to my experience. The Truck arrived precisely when it was scheduled to arrive and the driver, Ray was more than helpful. He had my car up on the truck much sooner than I expected. Towed it to its destination without a problem. The part that stood out most to me was that I had a question a few days later about how he got the car up on the truck and he helped me still despite not having any sort of obligation. Would definitely recommend and use personally in the future.

Great service! I actually drove around a road closed sign and drove through a puddle in the road that was way deeper than I thought and my car cut out in the middle. I called Keford and they got right out and got me out of the puddle. They came in about 10 minutes! Their dispatcher was great the way he told me to remain calm and that their driver would handle everything when he got there. He was right. The driver handled everything in about 10 minutes, and we were on our way.Thank you so much for the great service!

5 star all the way! If you are ever in need of a tow ask for Ray specifically. I was really shaken up after the accident. And Ray with Keford Towing came out to the scene. He was very nice and even stayed on the scene with me to make sure I was able to get a tow and home safely. I was very fortunate that my roadside approved him to tow my vehicle to the collision shop. Not even a 1 star! WARNING, Please, For your own good, Do Not Use this company until you read the companies reviews that we unfortunately missed.Our experience started by placing an offer price on USHIP for a shipping container to be delivered to a residential property, and it was Keford Novi Towing that accepted the contract, and that’s where it all went wrong! The contract amount was for $375 for the container to be picked up and delivered to our residential site no later than June 17th, to cut a long story short the current status is Keford Novi failed to meet the contract and didn’t have the proper equipment to drop at a residential site as their equipment was was too large. This resulted in us receiving a bill of $1200, and our equipment being illegally impounded and additional storage rates of a $100 a day and labor at $175 an hour. We had another shipper to retrieve our property after the container has been in their possession for 10 days now and even after knowing he was arriving they made him wait 5 hours after paying the final bill to collect our property. Their main line of expertise is picking up vehicles from accidents for the police and charging extortionate rates and forcing customers to sign over the title, illegally backing people in corners to try and take ownership of their property and constantly quoting they have the law on their side to do so. We are currently in a lawsuit and we have been informed we should easily win! I don’t think this company has much of a future left after reading the reviews but until then avoid Keford Novi Towing at all costs! If you do find yourself in a situation ask the driver if his name is Russell and if it is RUN! He nearly destroyed the building at the pickup location and he can’t pull a truck into a 16ft wide entrance! Our New driver delivered the container without any problems!

I have used Keford for both towing and for car repairs, and so have my family for many years. Everybody is awesome here. They are very professional, and do amazing work. I recently had a really bad accident with my car and thought it was totalled. Keford ended up fixing it and doing another amazing job! I really appreciate it. Great service!Annie

James was great! Once he got there just had to confirm where my car was going & he offered to fill out the overnight slip at my repair shop so I didn’t need to meet him over there, sent me a text and pictures of my car when he finished there too.

Not impressed. Came to get personals before insurance spoke with tow company, was first accident, we have full coverage, and Keford made me feel like I was trying to scam them.Julie made my boyfriend sign off on personals prior to retrieving them from the car, and told me until she spoke with insurance we couldnt get the license plates or large personal items. I guess she thought we did not have full coverage? Even after I gave her the policy info and the claim adjusters information....but I digress....When I pointed out the state of Michigan consider plates to be personal property-and she just had him sign off on personals that were in the vehicle-she huffed and puffed and added an additional line to the receipt stating all personals including plates and got him a screwdriver so he could get what he needed. That tool is what got her the second star. Of course we left the key with the car so the insurance company could get mileage....and while we were talking I snapped a photo of the keys laying on the paperwork, which was emailed to the insurance company that day. Oddly enough, guess what the tow driver forgot to take to the auction? Why the keys of course. Hmmmmm.Do tow companies deal with shady people on a daily basis? Heck yeah. It is a tough, thankless job, and that goes for everyone from the drivers to the gatekeepers like the one I dealt with. I have a whole lot of respect for those who choose this line of work. I do have a problem when people are not following the law when doing their work....and had I not known better, who knows what could have happened.*edit to the owner who rebuttals all bad reviews and makes it the customers fault....Julie should NEVER have anyone sign off on items they havent recieved. Maybe have a separate form just for personals to eliminate confusion? No need for any back and forth. The majority of your customers seem happy; learn to take the bad with the good.

Be Aware !!! When you get initial call from them requesting you to get services from them instead of going through one which insurance company suggested, they talk very nicely and give you short estimate time and promise to give discount in deductible but takes too long for the service, way beyond the initial estimate, for me they estimated 1 month and took 3 months. More over didnt provide any discount in deductible as promised. Dont recommend to any one.👎

Keford has repaired my vehicles several times over the past 30 years. That says a lot about this company- over 30 years!! It is the same faces and the same quality. After being in a major accident, Keford repaired the air bags and body back to a beautiful, safe vehicle. I know it was safe because sadly, we had another major accident in that same vehicle. -The airbags went off beautifully and saved me and my husband (2 kids in the back) from any severe injury. That is a testament to their work. I have used Keford towing also. The drivers are knowledgeable and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were safe. Keford is local. They give to my kids school(they bring wrecked cars to our high school to recreate drunk driving accidents and fatalities) and community. I have recommended Keford to family members and friends. All have had great experiences. Keford is just the shop I trust.

I took my Infiniti to Keford after it suffered some damage to the rear bumper. I was extremely pleased with the quality of their work. The paint matching is perfect, I cant even tell any work was done. I wish their communication was a bit better during the whole process. I also wish they had more convenient hours for those of us that work during normal business hours. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would definitely go back if I ever need more collision repairs.

Horrible experience with this company! I got into an accident Friday attempted Call AAA but the police officer already called keford.So I really had no choice but to go with them. I followed the tow truck and when I pulled up I asked the young lady at the desk if I could grab my debt card, school items and clothes out my car. She told me no and explained I would have to pay the $100 towing fee.My car was completely totaled and I was unsure what I wanted to do exactly so I asked if I could come back Saturday to pick it up and she said yes itll be an additional $20 each day.So I was willing to pay the $120, come to find out I wouldnt be able to get my car until Monday because they dont allow pick ups on Saturdays so the price to $160..... okay now Im irritatedSo I call up there Monday a man answers I explain the situation and says yes you can come get your personal belongings.I arrive to the location and Im told I cant receive it until I pay $160 and I need to figure out what to do wIth my car.My issue is why do I keep receiving wrong information? Why wasnt I told I couldnt pick it up Saturday? Why was I told I could pick up my things Monday? If you have a policy everyone should be on the same page!So after that I was annoyed so I look online to see if its even legal for a towing company to keep your things and its not!!! You have the right to get your things on day one after that then you have to pay to receive personal belongings........Hmmm I find this very interesting since I came the day of and was told NO!And at first I thought maybe theres some confusion somewhere but looking at these reviews this is just how this company operates.So just try to avoid this place they are trifling

CALL THESE GUYS!. Used them this morning. Ray was everything you would want in this situation, courteous, professional, concerned for my safety and my car. Its a classic (77 T/A) so I really appreciate the extra time he took when loading her up, transporting her and taking her off his flatbed while making sure I was out of harms way. I was recently in an accident, and my car was towed to Keford. First off, the tow truck driver was very friendly. I was driven to Keford with my car and everybody I talked to was very nice and helpful. During the two weeks that my car was in their lot, I spoke with many of the people who work at this facility, and everyone I encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful. Tim and Cathy worked with me when my insurance company tried to offer me an insultingly low amount for the total loss of my car. With their support and advice, I managed to get my insurance company to give me a much more reasonable offer. Overall, my experience with Keford Collision & Towing was an outstanding one, and I highly recommend them.

Great service! My car spun out about a week ago and I went in the ditch so I couldnt drive it. I called Keford and they were there in about 10 minutes and got me out. I had done some damage to my fender and wheel so I had Keford fix it at their shop. I just picked it up and everything looks great. Great people to deal with, and the girls at the front desk were very helpful. Highly recommend these guys!

We got a flat tire while in the parking lot at Home Depot. Our Auto insurance provider coordinated the towing service through Keford. Josh provided a great customer service as well to both of us and our baby. Yep, when you only have one vehicle and you got stranded in a cold and rainy winter day with your baby, having their prompt service really gives you peace of mind. After all, we took this as an adventure and laugh about -instead of crying over.Yet, I forgot my cellphone in the tow truck (cant it get better?!) Fast towing, got to me within 30min. Charged $90 for a 6mile tow.

By far the best bodyshop experience I have ever encountered. My newish Mini Clubman was rear ended on the freeway, sustaining about $3k in damage. Keford was terrific to work with, kept me well informed during the repairs and did an outstanding job with the bodywork and paint. The paint match and quality was outstanding. Highly recommend!

I called for a lock out, they showed up in 20 mins and it took them 5 mins and they were done and I still made it to work on time! Very nice and respectful!

Ray was so great!! Allstate roadside assistance recommended I towed my car to get my tire changed, and ray took care of it without needing A tow! Thankyou so much for making things easier!

Dylan was very helpful we had a different towing company on the way and they were taking forever he stopped twice to see if we were okay and needed help ended up cancelling our tow and having him do so instead of calling g your office turns out he was already off the clock stand up guy for making sure my car made it home thank you

Id give a solid 4.5 to their towing staff that I have dealt with. The ignition on my custom 4x4 decided to finally crap its pants today, and after a bit of a wait on a busy collusion day the tow truck driver arrived. He was very friendly and open to my advice on the route due to the size of my truck to ensure we didnt catch any low clearance issues. After unloading on my narrow road he even helped me push it to where I wanted it, just to ensure it was where I wanted it.Very big thanks to you guys running trucks. Made my day better.

The POOR ratings are due to the fact that Keford handles Police towing. They are great! I have used them to tow our work vehicles for years. Dispatch is quick, and tow drivers take great care when working on vehicles. They can also provide roadside service for fan belts, air brakes and a lot more.

Josh was very nice and knowleagable. He towed me to the nearest repair shop when my car was disabled on the left shoulder of 696 outside of Farmington Hills. I enjoyed what couldve been a scary experience because he put me at ease.

Dealing with Keford Towing was Worse than the actual accident!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!After My experience with Keford Towing, I would NOT RECOMMEND this company to Anyone of Any race, @t anytime for ANYTHING!! 1 star is an over-rating.If you get into an accident, please request to NOT have your vehicle towed to Keford by all means, avoid them at ALL COSTS!Believe the 1 star ratings on here, because they are accurate. Everybody cant be wrong about Keford Towing company when YOU have responses from various races ALL saying similar or same things about THE poor services received!! PLEASE read them and take heed.
