I have been looking for a bike since I relocated to Naples from NY. I stopped in to check out Naples cyclery today and was very impressed. The staff answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I was not ready to purchase yet and they were not pushy. As a realtor myself I have great respect for a salesperson who operates like that. I need to do some more research but I will definitely be purchasing my bike from here.

NC may be more expensive than buying online from a big box retailer; however, in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. They always have top quality merchandise and its been my experience that they always attempt to go above and beyond to provide stellar service. Our most recent interaction was getting along overdue check ups (with minor repairs). We arrived one minute past closing time. NC had already locked the doors and closed out the registers. We managed to get the attention of one of the service technicians right when he was turning out the lights and exiting through the employee door. After he signaled that the shop was (obviously) closed, NC did something Ive rarely seen ANY merchant do. They stayed, got our bicycle and rang us out. They never once tried to make us feel like a burden as so many other merchants would. They cheerfully helped us out out when they could have righteously claimed--as most merchants would--that theyre sorry, but theres really nothing they could do! How many times have we heard that before? Sorry, but...shrug Well, thank you NC and, specifically, thank you Justin. There were also a couple other people I should thank, and Im sorry I didnt their names. Regardless, Justin has always provided our family with great service (as have all the other folks at NC!) P.S. (Justin) I hope I correctly remembered your name!

I want to thank the whole team at Naples Cyclery, especially the team in the service department for preparing my road bike for my first 70.3 IRONMAN. The bike was as efficient as it could be with all their guidance and recommendations. Thank you for treating this newbie with great communication skills and patience.

Jamie and Haley were both extremely friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in the store. I purchased new shoes and Haley even offered to install the cleats for them for free. I highly recommend this store and will be back for all of my future cycling needs.

I tried renting from another bike store several months before my arrival in Naples and two weeks out was told that they had no bikes. I immediately reached out to to Naples Cyclery and confirmed my rental. The bikes were dropped off to my location at the time promised and the staff was always polite, professional and just plain old nice. I will definitely be doing business with them again. Highly recommend !!!

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish at Naples Cyclery. I had been on the market for a bike for several weeks now and could not locate the bike I was looking for thanks to the global bike shortage. Although I live in Sarasota, I took a chance and called Naples Cyclery and I am so glad that I did because not only did they have the specific Specialized bike I was looking for, but the customer service was wonderful. I spoke with Jamie and explained that I would need a contactless purchase and he was extremely accommodating during every step of the process. I live in Sarasota so it was a haul to get down to Naples but it was well worth it for both the bike and the excellent customer experience. Thank you, Jamie for being so accommodating to my needs and for helping facilitate this purchase with ease! A business that is willing to be rude to a woman (of any age or color) is no place where my wife and I will spend our money. We had visited this shop a few years back when shopping around and found it to be quite pleasant. Im not sure what has happened to this shop but the comfy small town bike shop feeling is no longer there. My wife had gone in and inquired about a bicycle she was interested in and was berated by a middle-aged man she described as being short with an attitude and lots of jewelry. She genuinely believed she had the right name of a model bike she was looking at but was scorned by this man for wasting his time asking about bikes they do not sell there. I dont care how busy you are, if youre business offers a service, you should never bring a belittling attitude to the table when a customer is confused or wrong. We will not be shopping here or dining at their cafe again.

I went in today because my spokes needed adjustment as some were loose and giving me a clicking noise. The tech told me he wouldnt work on my bike because it was electric. I find it odd that the spokes on an electric bike (front wheel) are different than a normal bike. The rear wheel after all is the drive wheel but even that wouldnt matter. Oh well, there are other places close by who most likely would love my business.

I went to the shop today to look for a jacket. Got there at 9:50 am. The doors opened and an employee came out with two bikes. I started to walk in and he said were not open. Get in line. I asked what time do you open and he said read the sign on the door.So, once inside I look at a jacket. I unzip it, take it off the hanger and try it on. Too small. I put it back on the hanger and hung it up. Another employee says you need to zip it up, with a disgusted tone.I said, what is the problem today, everyone seems grouchy. He said theres no problem, you unzipped the jacket, you zip it up.Im 72 years old, this was the rudest retail experience I have ever had.I have purchased 3 bikes from this shop, the last one for over $1,000 about a month ago. No more business from me.

This place is awesome! My husband and I love this place! Roger is the best bike mechanic ever!!!He always has time for repairs and he is super fast! We’ve also purchased many bikes from here and have never had a problem, only satisfaction. When our family came into town we were treated like family as were able to get all the kids a few vacation bikes as well! They also have nice trendy kits and gear for cycling and a small section for running and swimming to accommodate “us” triathletes. The coffee shop next door has a great selection of fuel filled foods and drinks. Food is always good and service is great! Again we love this place and it’s friendly family atmosphere!

Looking for a mens and womans electric bike we ckd out Yelp and Google reviews. We originally stayed away from here b/c of poor reviews. Were very happy to report that we received spectacular service from Haley and John both via phone and in person for our rental and purchases. I have been dealing with Naples Cyclery for 17 years. They are the best for quality and repair.

I purchased my first Specialized from Naples Cyclery close to 3 years ago. I have had all my tuning & regular maintenance done by them since then. I was once an absolute advocate for the shop, always sending anyone in town, or visiting to them -- until recently. Last week I had called about purchasing a new bike, I was laughed at on the phone by whoever answered. I understand that bike inventory is down at the moment, but the person was just insulting. When I asked what my other options were, the person said I dont know man, call another shop. Wow, how pleasant. Yesterday I went into the shop to see what other XL+ bikes they might have, other than the specific one I was looking for. I walked around the shop for a few minutes while waiting for someone to become available or to approach me and ask if I needed any help. After that few minutes, no luck. I approached the desk where there was a guy sitting down, real cool looking guy, you know, 45ish years old, beanie, scruffy look, and too many rings on his fingers. I said hi, and he didnt look up from his paperwork. After I stood there for another ~30 seconds (long enough for things to feel awkward) he looked up at me and said can I help you?. I laughed a little and said well yeah Im not standing here for nothing. He looked back down at the paper he was reading and said Im busy. I was pretty blown away, I stood there for another few seconds thinking he was joking, but nope -- he was clearly too busy for my business. Im not sure what happened to this shop, but its sad because I used to feel the same way about the Bike Route -- pretentious, which directed by business to Naples Cyclery. Now Ill redirect my business elsewhere, again.

Like many cyclists (I ride mountain, road and gravel), Ive been to many Cycling Shops around the US and Europe. Naples Cyclery is one of the best in the World. Peter Marsh and his team have outstanding service and sales departments that can help you with your every need. If they dont have a part or brand they will go out of their way to get it for you. Excellent service on tubeless, disc brakes and drivetrain. Additionally, they have a great rental division that may of my friends and family visiting Naples have used. Fit & Fuel Cafe is connected to the shop so you can eat healthy and have a coffee or beer while you shop or wait.

On vacation and brought my Specialize E-bike in for a flat tire repair on a Sunday! Excellent, fast service!

I always come to Naples Cyclery for my biking needs. The staff is always super knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. I also like how there is the Fit and Fuel Cafe attached to the bike shop so when I’m hungry after a long bike ride I can get a craft brew and a yummy meal. Two thumbs up, 5 stars, highly recommend.

My experience was kind of similar to the review below from jeff kraig. I purchased a bike from here a few months ago, and was quite happy just to find something, but Jamie didnt seem like he was super knowledgable on the fitment of the bike or he just didnt care. Yes, you have to ride the bike, but there are some basic rules, especially seat to stem length which has been an issue. Fast forward a few months, and i had been looking for a new bike. I was helped by an older lady who rode mountain bikes, and she was extremely helpful and kind. I went home and searched the web for a bit and came back the very next day to place an order. Unfortunately the same lady wasnt there so i dealt with an older guy and he seemed utterly lost and could not find the bike despite finding it the day before. Frustrating yes, but eventually finding the bike. During this, he called Jamie over who im going to give the benefit of the doubt and say he wasnt having a very good day. I said hey how are you? to which no reply, ok maybe he didnt hear me. I then asked about the frame sizing and pretty much neither of them could even remotely help me. I even brought my old bike with me to see if they were willing to take a look and maybe pull a measurement or two to help me decide but they just didnt seem to care, so i left them and purchased a bike elsewhere. Not only did they just lose a $7,000 sale, im in the market for a second bike for my partner, so they just lost another $5,000 sale. I fully understand we live in Naples which is full of karens and rude entitled people, but i am far from that, im very easy going, so for me to have a bad experience, id say the some of the staff may need a little meeting, in order to improve their happiness in the workplace.

We stopped by Naples Cyclery today with the intent of buying two new bikes (possibly one electric). The store is operating under Covid-19 conditions as it should be and thankful for that. I will say that none of the staff as far as I could see were wearing protective masks. After waiting outside nearly 30 minutes and watching five customers go in after us we were finally let in. No one greeted us, thanked us for waiting, or even invited us to look around while we were waiting for assistance. After another 10 minutes we decided to leave and will shop elsewhere for two new bikes. I realize patience is so important in the times we’re experiencing now but that doesn’t mean you can’t provide some semblance of customer service.

Did a bicycle fit up with Tim today. He did a great job and it shows that he has years of experience. At $100, I felt it was worth every penny. Naples Cyclery always seems to have what I need when I go there. Will be visiting again !

Naples Cyclery is the best bike shop in town. After 30 years I decided to start cycling again. I’m very happy with the service of all the staff and especially all the advice from Peter. In addition they have a good choice bycicles and accessories. All the staff know their products very well. They have a nice cafe next to the store. I highly recommend this bike shope.

Good products but absolutely the worst customer service. We’ve purchased 4 bikes here, over the years, and I have to say I always feel like I am inconveniencing the staff members when I make a purchase. This year I went to Trek because I had anxiety about going into Naples Cyclery. They just seem like they don’t care whether you buy here or not ...

Good place, cant beat specailized products.

Brought my bike in today to fix a shifting problem and they went right to work fixing it. Told me what was wrong and what needed to be fixed, also what I would need to do in the future to keep it up and running. Peter was very helpful, as was all their staff. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

1) The shop is extremely overpriced/ You can find much better deals online.2) The repair guys are like some auto shops half salesmen - i.e. they find opportunity to sell you parts and repairs.3) I came in for a chain repair. They put it on wrong and it damaged the gears on my bicycle. When I brought the bicycle back they dont accept fault instead tell me they can fix it but now I might need a new chain and maybe new gears.4) Rude an unprofessional staff - Last thing you would expect of a local shop in this digital age where most shopping is anyways moving online.Go to this business completely at your own risk. 3.8 is not an appropriate rating. They should probably be more like a 2.Trek bicycle store right on the other side of the complex is a much better place to take your bicycling needs to.

So I was intrested in getting a cycling computer but had some questions and these guys got me set up with a Garmin 830 Bundle. They quickly installed the sensors and informed me on how to operate the head unit. I could not be happier with the performance data that I am getting now. This is a quality shop and I would recommend it for any of your biking needs.

I had a spoke that needed to be replaced and a the wheel needed to be trued. All other shops in town said it would need to be scheduled out a few days which made sense since it was a Saturday. Naples Cyclery took it in on the spot, fixed it and handed it back to me in about 30 minutes. There’s a lot of negative reviews on here, and yes they cater to a higher end bike crowd and the service department isn’t warm and fuzzy but they know what they are doing and got the job done fast and right.

A friend refered me to Naples Cyclery because my bike needed some work. I had not been using it often for years, but when quarentine started I had time to go on bike rides. Murphys Law... it broke beyond repair. He gave me a terrific deal on an use bike that i love!!

I been a loyal customer for almost 6 years. They are more than retail help they’re good people. I also love the craft brew cafe they own next store. Yes it can be a little wait in season but it’s worth it. I have given them all my business and will continue to do so

I have been going here to rent bikes when coming in for vacations for the last 25 years. They are not a bunch of salespeople but very knowledgeable and helpful staff that knows there business. All of my 3 kids have been taken care of and wife as well. NOTHING but great things to say about these guys. Thank you Naples Cyclery for helping our family make fun memories that will never be forgotten!

They have a nice selection of bikes and a deep knowledge of their product, which is a welcome difference from the big box stores. The service department is expensive, but they know their craft. At first I was leery about spending more on a bicycle, but after riding it countless miles, I can attest that their products are a higher quality than their competitors. I feel their better products require less frequent service and seem to hold up much longer. I enjoy establishments where I get asked for personalized attention as soon as I walk in the door. Plus, I think it’s important to support local business before the online retailers take over the world;)

I bought an ex rental bike here today and I am very happy with it but the young lad who served me wasn’t particularly helpful or friendly and so the whole experience was frankly somewhat less than enjoyable. I can’t fault the stock that they have here but please if I am buying a bike from you whether new used be a little bit more friendly about it !

I have condos in Marco Island and train daily. I have tried on multiple occasions to rent from Marco Island Bikes and have not had luck. On short notice NC was able to supply 2 58CM bikes and I was in and out in a short period of time. Bikes were in great mechanical condition and seemed to be very well maintained. The price is right and the staff was very courteous.

Service was o k. Only thing was he charged us 40$ worth of service fees for 7 minutes of work...Would’ve been nice to know the service fee was going to cost more than a chain and derailleur itself.

This is the best shop in Naples. The staff is fantastic and store has everything you need..bikes, clothing, accessories and nutrition for both cycling and triathlon enthusiasts. You won t go wrong doing business with the team at Naples Cyclery. The Fit & Fuel Cafe next door is a winner as well.

If I could give six stars I would.How do I love this store? Let me count the ways...1) they love bikes, but not Exclusive of customer interest levels. I sent a friend who wanted a beach cruiser. She loved the experience. I went in later in the week and had a four person geek conversation about belt drive and steel vs aluminum.2) their prices are reasonable. For Naples they are practically cheap. Shhhhhh.3) their LBMs (Local Bike Mechanics) are friendly and experienced. My wifes bike had an odd problem that I couldnt fix. I wheeled it in and they convinced me of a less expensive fix than I thought. My bike had an odd rattle I couldnt find. They found it a d explained how so I could do it myself in the future.Go, buy or rent a bike.

I rented from this shop in 2018 and all was fine. Rented a Tarmac for a week, purchased water bottles, nutrition and several other items. Just came into town for a second trip and couldnt book in advance because we weren’t sure about schedule so I called the shop to inquire about bike availability once in town. I was 35 minutes from the shop and simply wanted to know if they had 56 road bikes before driving 35 minutes across town. The guy told me hes too busy to talk to me or check availability and I’d have to come in if I want to find anything out (even though their site clearly tells you to call if you need something sooner than 24 hours). I wasnt looking for the guy to take my order, get my sizing, or do anything crazy. I simply wanted to know if they had a 56” road bike available before driving 35 minutes. The guy was incredibly rude.I didn’t bring pedals with me so I was left renting from them anyway (their competitor doesn’t rent pedals). When I got to the shop, there wasn’t a single customer in or around the shop. All 5 employees on the floor (yes, 5 employees on the floor not including mechanics) were standing around and none greeted me or my son. I had to walk up and ask about renting a bike. The entire time they acted like I was putting them out by spending around $300 to rent a bike, upgrade with pedals, and purchase a couple water bottles. Even my 12 year old son who doesn’t typically notice customer service noted how rude the staff was (more accurately how they completely ignored both of us even though we were the only customers).They actually had some Specialized hats and other merch I would have purchased, but I didn’t want to give them more money. My son is an avid cyclist and I would have purchased him some new socks and merch from a local shop, but I certainly wasn’t going to do so after being treated like a pariah. I probably would have even eaten at their cafe (attached to the store), but I didn’t want to spend more money with them.I came by almost daily across 5 days to air the tires on the bike and purchase nutrition and only came across two friendly employees. I hope this is helpful to the people at the shop. I want to like and support the shop, but they make it hard. Maybe they don’t enjoy renters and people visiting Naples. I visit Naples at least once per year for a week and always rent a bike. They could have easily turned me into a $500 customer with the slightest bit of effort. I will most likely take my $300 - $500 elsewhere next year.

I had a top notch experience with these fellas! I came in here to buy a lock and some lights for my bike. I was pleased to see they carry the Niterider brand and, at a reasonable price! I was at the Bike Shop in downtown Naples and they carried only Surfas lights which are garbage. 2 thumbs up for a great product selection and great prices!! Will be back to this place.

So, I was not prepared for how nice these people are. I am not an avid cyclist, just like to ride my bike occasionally. Had issues with flat tires. They fixed at a very reasonable price in an amazing timeless manner (in season) . Did not try to sell me on stuff that I didnt need.. and I asked them, and loaded my bike in and out of my vehicle for me. Cant give the service dept enough stars. Would not consider going anywhere else.

Ordered a bike, took our credit card information, charged my card for the bike..... Never ordered it..... Never got a call to tell us it wasnt ordered..... Never even apologized... Customer Service is not their priority. So disappointing

I would like to give them a second chance after disappointing first visit. Just needed to repair post mount hydraulic brakes and got an estimate for 300-400$ to repair. Went down the street and they replaced the entire assembly for 80$ and got a free tune up and brake cleaning.>>>>

Never take your bike here.I called and they said $55 to assemble, arrived at the shop and it was changed to $75, then when I received a bill when picking up the bike it was $80. Seems silly. They even added insult to injury when their professional assembly technician didnt true the wheels, adjust the brakes, or even make sure everything was working properly. Another bike shop had to fix this bad assembly job. Ill not be going back.

When I returned the two bikes they went through the inspection like an insurance company they checked the tires, rims, gears, and breaks I felt like I was trying to get taken advantage of looking for something not working properly or broken so they would not have to give me my security deposit back very uncomfortable!

This place is great. I went to the bike route and had a horrible experience. The lesbian-looking old lady was rude and kept thinking I might steal because Im brown. Everyone in the group says they should stay away from the witch and come here. Much better time here. You will remain a customer here and never again on the bike route.
