This was the best car buying experience I’ve had since I was old enough to purchase a vehicle. Trevor was very knowledgeable and courteous. I live out of state and they made the car buying process seamless. I would highly recommend Keffer for your car buying needs! Their service is top notch! Ask for Trevor Ferrall—he’s the best!

I had the worst experience at this dealership. Im happy to say that I will NEVER step foot in another Keffer owned dealership!! My car was repaired (hopefully) by Keffer Hyundai.They had my car for 6 months. In all that time, the only time I ever heard from them was if they needed my signature on something. Not once did they call me to tell me how the repairs were going, what I could expect, or when my car would be ready. When I saw my car, the tires were in awful shape for some weird reason. They said nothing about it. I was reviewing my paperwork in my car and happened to notice that they recommended 4 new tires and an alignment. It also stated that they had completed a road test on the vehicle, which I find hard to believe. The front left tire was so low, I thought I wouldnt be able to make it down the street safely to a tire place. How could they have done a road test like that? Also, why wouldnt they even mention it to me? I was driving home, after getting new tires installed, and heard loud clunking coming from the back of the car. I opened the trunk when I got home and saw dirty, plastic, random car parts full of approx 50 screws & bolts, and one plastic piece with a dirty, rusty screw sticking out of it. Never in my life have I ever had a car returned to me that way. The worst part was that I paid nearly $1200 for the repairs due to Hyundais manufacturing error that resulted in (Keffer Jeep) selling me a car that had a defective engine. Even though I bought the bumper-to-bumper Keffer warranty, and it was their fault, they told me I had to pay $1174. Since when do customers have to pay for the manufacturers mistakes? I only had the car for 6 months when the engine seized. What is the point in paying all the extra money for a warranty, when you still have to pay for the repairs? Now my warranty is voided since I used it and nothing will be covered for the duration of my ownership.

This experience by far was the best experience my husband and I have had since we began car shopping.Jared was exceptional in every way imaginable! His calm, cool and collective demeanor, hospitality, professionalism, knowledge, and charisma were exactly what we needed (he also wore great socks) to encourage a purchase we didn’t intend to make that day and sealed it with a rose.I would highly recommend Jared and Hyundai of Charlotte to a fellow car buyer! The service in the showroom is good, but when you buy your car and they promise you that you will have valet service for reviews every 5k miles so they never have appointments available, you have to call 4 weeks in advance to get an appointment that is Approximate the mileage of your car, of course you will have to call because in the application of Genesis or Keffer it is even more difficult to get something before. It is just a tip, if you say you have Valet available warn that you must schedule 3 months in advance and wait for Saturn to line up with Venus to get the valet service they promise. Fortunately the sales representative has helped me because in the service area they never have solutions.

This dealership is terrible and somehow manage to mess up every time I go in. Communication is horrible. Ran a credit check without permission. The service department stole two of my front tires when I asked them to switch my set of wheels. Couldn’t figure out who had my keys when I bought the car back because the detailing was sub par. Didn’t tell me a car I was purchasing was going to be driven 350 miles. Ignored me when I came in to figure out an issue with the car. The list goes on and on. Avoid them at all costs. The only reason I used them was because they have inventory but other than that I will be taking my car to get serviced elsewhere.

So I’ve been a long time customer of Keffer and I must say there customer service is phenomenal! The staff are all very attentive and helpful. Asia in the service department is absolutely the best. She’s always made sure I’m updated if my car is receiving service and tries to make sure the turn around is prompt as possible. The first impression….absolutely awful. We went today with the intention to buy and drive home the new GV 70. We parked in one of the empty spots next to the main door. An associate came and asked me to move my car. When I asked why, she gave me no explanation just asked me again to move my car! We asked if that’s a customer parking and she said “we don’t have signs”….huh???Well, we left and will buy my new car from different dealer.

Our experience with buying our brand new Hyundai palisade was amazing. Shelene was upfront, honest and personable. She stayed in contact with us and made sure to explain everything to a t. They have the biggest inventory of Genesis cars perhaps within all of North Carolina. My salesperson was fast, genuine, and easy to work with. I ended up buying a car and the process to get out with the car was slow and painful. They were apologetic but it dampened my experience a little.

I recently purchased a 2021 Sonata at Keffer Hyundai and was helped by Yaz and Matt. They were both very professional when it came to showing the different Sonatas available on the lot and allowing me to test drive the different trim levels/engine options. Price negotiation was also handled professionally and the line item costs were clearly listed out through the negotiation process. Since the exact color/interior that I was looking for was not available at Keffer, we mutually agreed to do a dealer inventory swap. Overall the process went well and I got the car that we agreed to. However, I think Keffer could improve the dealer trade process for the customer by providing clearer communication in the future. Delivery of the car was also handled professionally and Matt stayed late on a Friday to make sure I was familiar with all of the features on the car. Overall, I had a positive experience purchasing a new car at Keffer Hyundai. The only reason that this was a 4 star and not a 5 star review related to the communication issues during the dealer inventory trade process. Everything else was handled very well.

John Pratt (sales) and Desmond Campbell (financing) took great care of my husband and I when we came in to purchase a used car after ours was diagnosed with needing a new engine. The entire process went by much more quickly than what it typically feels like in a dealership. While the car we came in to test drive was no longer available, we were able to purchase a vehicle were very happy with. We were also able to get approved at better rates than the preapproval we came in with. Pleased with the purchase, pleased with the customer service.

Caught in a policy change with a maintenance program was resolved in a positive fashion but only because I had made a notation in my file on what was included and promised by the sales staff during the sale of a Managers Special Deal on a new car. The fact that the Dealership honored and fixed the situation speaks highly about the company. I couldnt help feeling like the policy change on how they classified a vehicle for Dealership use as a demo or for staff test drives should NOT then be used to penalize a NEW owner relative to a new vehicle service warranty offering for ALL new car sales, despite a few extra miles put on the vehicle because of an internal business decision turning into a general public offering they designed. By trying to justify their policy issue by saying I got such a good deal does not negate the wrong they were asking me to absorb. Not right. They fixed it.Alls well that ends well, so in that respect they should get 5 stars but the explanation offered at first as to how the misunderstanding occurred and time it took to resolve warrants a 1 star; thus the middle grade offered here.

The lack of communication between associates when they aren’t available when you are is frustrating to say the least. We shared the day we were going to be there, and were treated like we were unannounced because the woman in financing we discussed the sale with was not there that day…it would have been helpful to know when we discussed this over the phone who would be able to assist on a day she would be out..We were somehow rushed and neglected at the same time with little to no information or clarity when it was needed. The consistency of understanding the buyer’s needs don’t seem to matter unless it’s literally in their face, then still ask you questions repeatedly like it’s not on the paperwork they mindlessly have you fill out already there. The car wasn’t washed, or filled with fuel when they gave us the keys, so that took another 2.5 hours to wait on, and almost left without having copies of the paperwork you need after a sale…so be prepared to know how to do their job for them to be reminded. Despite having to listen to people talk nonstop, whether to us or with random people around us, the customer service was trash. Definitely was certainly a learning process on how things should NOT go 🙄 I’m so glad it’s over.

Jennifer provided me with amazing experience when I came to Keffer to buy a brand new car. I came to the dealership a little late on Saturday and she stayed past closing time to ensure I got the car that I wanted and that I was able to get all of my paperwork done. Drove almost 4 hours to look at a Sonata. Keffer Hyundai is a huge dealership. The showroom is very clean. My sales rep let me take it for a spin with no hassle. Everything felt right. My finance guy crunched the numbers and got em where I wanted. Drove the car home.There was an issue was with obtaining my registration and license plate that jammed me up for almost 2 months.Long story short, With patients and persistence on my part they took care of it = Happy customer. The service here is awful. All they have to do is quote realistic times. They’ll tell you that you’re going to wait an hour and a half for an oil change with inspection and then you’re there 2 hours and 45 minutes. Service is nonchalant about it too like nothing ever happened. Like it’s no big deal. My time might only be worth the $3.50 discount they gave me (without me asking) but it’s worth more to me to know true timeframes so that I can plan my day. Just be upfront. Never again.

Have called this Hyundai dealership three times and left messages with the service department trying to get the navigation in my 2013 Hyundai Genesis coupe updated or figure out what I need to do to update it and have been ignored completely. I have never gotten a call back and they dont seem interested in helping me at all if you need something done to your Hyundai I dont recommend going to this dealership 💯💯

I had the best experience today! I was welcomed by Lisa and then processed in by Asia.... but it was how kindly and professionally they both were that left me feeling right at home. Then NOT only was my oil change done in great time, but Aida noticed my tags were about to expire and asked if so had had my inspection done yet. I had not. She turned around and had that done for me as well!Oh... and I still had over 1,500 calls😂 in mySanta Fe’s history from the prior owner (did not buy it from Keffer)... well Asia said she clicked about four buttons and it was all cleared out! What a relief. Then to top my visit off.. she had me stop by the parts shop because I am missing a tiny tiny part that probably only I would care about... and they are ordering it for me... but a small access panel was pushed in as well. So here comes Jacob ... who kindly offered to try to pry it out/off. He succeeded and put it back on properly. No need to order another!Thank you Keffer Hyundai — these three made my day!

I visited Keffer Hyundai to fix my vehicle. Selena took care of my service and she was nice to go over all problems and fixing processes. I had no issues Selena taking care of my situation, she was very good at her job. Overall service was good, Keffer Hyundai took bit longer time to inspect my vehicle (about a week). This could been because of high volume of vehicles that they might have to inspect, but it would been better if they gave me a update in between.

I am a hard working single lady that found herself in a financial bind due to Covid causing me reduced hours at work! I had a car payment on a 2020 Sonata that was too much for my reduced income. I loved the car however, the monthly payment had begun causing me a great deal of anxiety and worry! I called Keffer Hyundai and spoke to an extremely nice and understanding man named Lewis! He invited me to come back into the dealership to see what if anything could be done to help me get a smaller car and to lower my monthly payment. Lewis was able to put me in a beautiful 2022 Elantra with a much lower payment as I had maintained my excellent credit score. He was so kind and patient! We live an hour away from Keffer Hyundai so we were unsure of the kind of help we might get from this dealership. To our surprise, we found this to be a very good experience. For the most part, we found Charles to be upfront and honest about the cars we were interested in. He did his best to find what we needed and explained the differences between each level of trim. He spent a good amount of time with us, and we felt he wanted to work with us: not against us. Although finding exactly what we wanted was not easy due to the shortage of inventory, Keffer had the best selection of cars out there! We have only owned one other Hyundai and hope this new one will be just as enjoyable as our first. I would not hesitate to use Keffer Hyundai again. And when you do, be sure to ask for Charles!

My Genesis G80 3.3T air conditioner stops working after about an hour of driving. Other owners have reported the same symptoms. Keffer cant find the problem and, apparently, cant get any help from Genesis.The frustrating fact is that Keffer wont let me discuss the problem with anyone who is knowledgeable of auto mechanics.

I unfortunately had a very bad experience here. I have a print out offer of my trade in and the amount for the new vehicle signed by the branch manager Brett. The very next day I went in to make the trade and was communicating with sales person Charles. When I arrived after waiting one hour I was informed the manager that was there for the day would not honor the deal. He insisted on 2000 down after the deal was no money down. I was told by Charles he would talk. To the branch manager and would drive to my work for paperwork to be signed. I have been ignored and no one has responded. I even called and they informed me they would have him call back. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the costumer service and will never return.

Car is beautiful. Unfortunately I felt like I was jammed through for the sale. Finance person had a bad attitude who commented on how much money I make a month when I said I was retiring in a couple of years., really none of her business. Salesperson really did not take the time to show me the car even after I had volunteered to come back I have had a handful of questions and have not gotten a return call after texting him a few times. Still not sure how everything works. Not what I expected from Genesis especially when purchasing a 50k car.

We were looking to upgrade to a new Santa Fe. Everything went well until the final price included $2k added in for fair market adjustment! When I asked about it I was told thats just something they do!! Then the scripted phone calls started... GM asked me to call you about our 3 day VIP event. This went on for 5 days despite my continued request to be removed from the list. I received two more today!!! Ive never heard of a dealer just randomly adding $2k to the online price but it sure cost them this deal( we went down the road to their competitor and bought our Santa Fe!!)!!!Update #1: 2 hours later I received ANOTHER scripted call... I again was told that I was placed on the DO NOT CALL list but Ive heard that before!

The service representative Brian was very courteous, friendly and helpful. I was there for a recall upgrade, and told over the phone it would take approximately 11/2 hours, I waited 4 hrs for service.

Everything overall went well! The only thing that could be improved was the communication process. I didn’t receive a confirmation or reminder email after I booked my appointment online, leaving me to call to make sure the appointment was indeed scheduled. It would also be nice to receive a text or email when my car was ready for pickup as the lady from the desk had to call me twice to make sure the message got through to me. Not a problem, really, just a lack of efficiency.

The team at Keffer Genesis go the extra mileto make sure their customer is taken care of. Our sales professional Charles was knowledgeable and very accommodating. Chris the manager was super friendly and took time to explain a potential trade in we had. Phil who took care of the financing was super quick but took time to answer and explain anything we needed. I was so doubtful about getting a new vehicle. I stepped in and I worked with Omar and the first thing he said was “we got you”. I was then introduced to Chad the sales manager and he said the same thing. They really did have me. They took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable. My wife bought a car the service is terrible! for them the main thing is to sell and they offer neither attention, service nor quality! they worry about taking photos and giving you calendars that dont solve your problem! I bought a Santa Fe in June and yesterday it was delivered because it had damage to a door and only one key and the Manager when I asked for the second key treated me like a second-class, that I was buying a car with a credit of $ 21,000 which was not $ 40,000. My experience is terrible, it is not recommended. Many happy faces when you enter but when you have a problem in your car many angry faces

I would advise others to not go to this location and go to the south Charlotte one instead.The customer service here is terrible and the first time I went, they missed some key components in my engine that needed to be fixed, that later down the road ended up destroying my engine and forcing me to have to pay more than what was intended.This is the first review that I have ever personally written for a company. I usually do not feel the need to complain about much but this business needs a restart.I was actually informed that they fired their mechanics and a lot of staff, which is probably why I haven’t received a phone call in two weeks, about my complaints.After my first visit, the manager actually asked me not to write a bad review because of how bad the service was the first time. The fact that he had to ask me that should’ve been my hint that this happens too often. I’m honestly not sure how their rating is above a 2.0 but I write this as a caution to all to save your money, time, and car, and go to any other Hyundai but this one.

Horrible Service Department!!!would love to give a higher rating but just cannot.My salesperson and the sales manager that sold me the vehicle were great.However, I purchased a used vehicle and needed to return to get some service done. I set up an appointment through the salesperson and when I arrived, there were 3 individuals huddled around a computer screen. One individual looked up at me and then returned to looking at the computer screen. Finally after about 5 minutes, another person entered the service desk area looked at what the others were doing and then asked if they could help.Sadly it gets worse…. She proceeded to tell me I didn’t have an appointment and I would have to make one and come back another day. (I live almost an hour away). Luckily I found the salesperson and he took care of getting me set that day…However - after waiting over 3 hours for some new tires to be installed, I pulled off the lot and drove about 1 mile when I heard this awful thumping noise coming from the front end…They either didn’t install or didn’t tighten 3 of the 5 lug nuts. Luckily I wasn’t to the highway yet!They did send someone down to fix the lug nuts and send me on my way.I wish that was the end…. The service assistant manager told me they would make it up to me and when it was time to get the oil changed, to call him and he would take care of me. I called - and as expected - NO return phone.I will never go back to this dealership and will never get my car serviced there.If this Genesis dealership wants to compete with Lexus, BMW, MB, they have a long way to go. I have 3 different Lexus vehicles and will be heading back there when it’s time to trade in this Genesis…

DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY KIND IF CAR SERVICEThey had my car from May-October, it was impossible to get in touch with a manager, service representatives were rude, I didn’t receive a rental car for a month maybe longer, they try to find ways to make money off you if your car parts are covered under warranty like mine, the list goes on and on.Hands down the worst a most stressful experiences I’ve had with a business.The icing on the cake was when I picked up my car after 5 months and there were oil stains on my cloth seats and when I tried to talk to Asia outside about it, she rolled up the window on me and drove off.I’m sure the reason for their 4 star rating is the fact that they give people discounts for writing reviews.

He made the test driving experience very easy, and was able to get us pricing numbers to help us weigh our options. Steer Clear of Keffer HyundaiA simple repair that should take a few minutes resulted in a 24hour ordeal. I dropped off my car around 10am and they gave me a loaner suggesting they would let me know when it was done. At 4pm I checked and they said it would take until the next day since the service department was so backed up. Why did they tell me to bring it in that day? Infuriating that they wasted my time and didnt keep me apprised of the issue. If it would have taken so long, then they should have told me to try another day or make a commitment on the same day.To top it all off, after I had the loaner and was driving home, I saw that it was completely out of gas and I had to make an emergency detour to fill it with gas. They shouldnt give out loaners without gas.Their attitude to all of this was oh well - guess this is just how they operate. It was my first experience with Keffer Hyundai and I can assure you it was also my last. If you value your time, go someplace else.

They didnt have the first two cars we wanted, but Omar was great and with the help of his manager, were able to find us a better car, slightly more expensive, but in our price range with low miles, extended bumper to bumper.They are aggressive salespeople, but not pushy. They heard what we wanted and needed and worked with us. We even got a great price on our trade in. Ill definitely be using them again. Ask for Omar, hes great to work with.

Very disappointed with service department. Had 2:00 appointment and checked in at 1:32. At 3:00, I checked on the status and they were just pulling the car in after hour and half wait for just an oil change and tire rotation. I understand their busy but they need to elevate their customer service in the service department. Had I waited for them to complete the work, we would have been there over 2 hours which is to long for just an oil change and tire rotation especially for a senior citizen.
