This place takes care of its customers. They always seem to end up fixing my flats! They have aired up tires for free and checked and filled my wife’s before too. They are so helpful and fast! I have AWD and after being told by Goodyear that I couldn’t put a used tire on to replace a flat and that I HAD to buy 4 brand new tires, Dalton at Big O Tires found an exact tread match to my other three tires and saved me about $800! 12/10 would recommend!

My family and I were in town for a baptism when I came out to a flat. This was the closest place to get a tire. The associate showed me tire options/prices in a few short minutes and the install crew had the tire installed in about 15 minutes. This was one of the best experiences that I have ever had getting a tire for a vehicle. If you live near this Big O I highly recommend stopping in for excellent and speedy service!

Ive always received great services at this Lexington Road Big O Tires. The first time I went in, while I was at the counter an older gentleman walked up to Ruben and gave him some cash. Ruben smiled and said he didnt have to do that but the gentleman said he insisted.Apparently a few days before the man was short of the funds for some part or something and Ruben had covered it himself. That shows you the level of personal care these guys put into their work. Im very happy I found this shop. Theyre always friendly, professional, and do excellent work.

Extremely helpful in picking the right tires and great warranty. Quick tire change and like the recommendation of balancing the tires. All four needed this. Everyone had a smile and was helpful.

After some minor hiccups in scheduling, Adam stepped in and got 4 new tires and alignment adjusted in just over an hour. This location stays very busy, but they are always eager to help. I also go here for air in tires when needed and will likely come for oil change too.

I was having an ER issue with my tires. I needed them to be put on that day. I called Tom that morning, he was very nice & helpful. Easy to talk with. I explained my situation of my emergency. He was able to find my tires, have them brought to the store within hours. I was at the location by mid day. When I arrived everything was clean while I was treated very kindly. I left my car walked across the street, had a taco and when I walked back into the door my vehicle was ready to go.. I would recommend my friends to come here. Thank you Tom for being so great..

I went there for a tire after I hit something laying in the middle of the lane I was driving in on the freeway, causing my tire to go flat. They mounted my new tire on the rim from my flat tire and discovered the rim was cracked and a piece broke off causing my tire to go flat. I went to Gilbert Mitchells Salvage Yard and bought a rim. When I went back to Big O to get the tire I purchased from them mounted on my new/used rim they mounted and balanced it for free. Super nice staff. Great place to go for tires.

When I called and told them 2 other auto shops couldnt get me in to patch a hole in my tire, they assured me they would be able to see me immediately and fix my tire with no problem. They were 100% correct. It only took them about half an hour to patch my tire, and they didnt charge me. Every person at this location was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to them for my auto needs.

Refused a coupon that was obviously applicable for a tire change.Said my brake pads needed being done. Took to two other places. Brake pads didn’t need to be done.Skeezy place. Stay away.

They offered free tire care needs 2020 by keeping air at recommended level and tire plug needs etc. during this pandemic.

I went in to see about new tires. Purchased 4 used tires that were basically new. A team of three profesionally installed them. I have travelled the country since 1975 and have never gotten this great a deal and service in my life !

Aweful that you have to wait two hours to get your car fixed. It’s supposed to b first come first serve. I got here at 7:55 (5 minutes before they open) and they said I had 1 car in front of me, but i see three cars in front of me.The point is that if you want to wait three hours to get your car fixed then this is the place for you. I’ll never be coming back again. They act like we all have all day to get our car fixed and are not considerate of our time.

My truck fell off the rack and their solution was to give me a free alignment...now the truck pulls to the right and is leaking power steering fluid...after much argument, they finally got me a rental vehicle and their solution was to simply perform another re alignment...that of course didnt work...now my truck is leaking power steering fluid and is pulling to the right...check engine light is now on as well...DO NOT go to big o tires for anything...Im gonna give them one more chance to make this right then Im gonna have to call a lawyer...again, stay away from this big o location...The impact from the fall wasnt as bad as the twisting motion that was the result of the fall...I have heard numerous stories about this store as well as other stores and I can assure you ill never be a customer again...Now their corporate office isnt gonna reimburse me for the damages that this big o tires location did to my truck...this location is not a member of the better business bureau...this location is definitely incompetent

L had a nail in my tire which had created a small leak. They were able to get right to it and I was back on the road in less than 30 minutes. The biggest surprise was there was no charge due to their contribution to covid relief.

I had a flat on my trailer today. After looking up closest tire store to me. Big-O came up. I limped 1.5 miles to the parking lot. I explained my situation to the gentleman behind the counter. He checked his computer and told me he did not have a tire for my trailer but the Big-O store 6 miles out Shelbyville road has them. Then to turned and talked to some one else. I use tire discounters. So I made it to Bardstown road to the tire discounters and got 4 new tires. I own Vessels Plumbing, we have 12 vans, 2 trucks, 6 tandem trailers and various other equipment that uses tires. Thanks

Best tire shop in St. Matthews easily. The service here is excellent and speedy. Also, they won’t sell you on services or products you don’t need like other shops in the area. Go here for a good experience.

Recently had my winter tires switched over to summer tires. Most places bang my wheels up since theyre low profile tires, but not here. They did a great job switching tires over without damaging my wheels. They also filled the tires up to the right pressures instead of just filling to 35/35 like most places do. I was out in 30 minutes, and Ill be back in the winter for sure.

I literally always go here for tires, oil change, I mean anything. The staff at this location is always super helpful and extremely nice. I recommend it to friends all the the time. I usually dont write reviews, but Ive had such good experiences here I wanted to write one! I really do trust the Big O Tires team!!! Thanks!

I took my car in at 8am on a Saturday with a screw in the tire. They were so professional and I was out of there by 8:20am. I will definitely return when I need new tires.

We bought new tires from this location in May. We chose the Big O brand because they came with a three year replacement warranty. This morning, I bumped over a brick step with one of the tires and it tore the tire in the sidewall. I drove it to Big O, no appointment, just walked in and they had a new tire on the car at NO COST in less than half an hour. Can’t get any better than that!

The best Big O in town. And they wont rob your wallet. Theyve taken care of all of our cars. Thanks again Big O!

Had a nail in tire. My normal tire store quoted me they would not get to it until the next day. Big O Lexington Rd had me in and out in 10 minutes. On top of that NO Charge b/c of Covid even though Im a new customer. They just found a new customer. Thank you guys for a quick no upsell approach. I will reccomend.

My dad swore by Big-O 30+ years ago for the quality of their service, dependability, and products. Today (and for years), I swear by Big-O for all these same reasons. Talk about reliability and consistency! Like clockwork, the staff is always helpful, friendly, trustworthy, and knowledgeable - no exceptions. Now that my kids are driving, I take them to Big-O when their cars need tires or service, and Im sure theyll keep coming back as well. Great job, Big-O - keep doing what youre doing!

I didnt even shop around this time. These guys have always taken care of me in a fast and respectful manner, telling me directly what I need and what I dont need. I trust them. Not the cheapest in town, but reasonable prices and great value for what you get. I have lots of respect for a well run business, and this is great example of a well run business.

Happy that they mounted tires that werent purchased there. They did try to charge me a higher price than what was quoted to me over the phone but ended up honoring the lower price once I told them. They didnt check anything else however which sucks cause Im having issues when I brake so it would have been nice to know why.

I had a flat the night before and was riding on my spare. I called for an appointment and was told to come over. I may have to wait but I could come on. After I checked in, I went across the street for lunch. I barely finished eating and my car was ready. Great timing!

I brought my chevy 1500 in to have them bleed the brakes after I put new brakes on all the way around (soft pedal, air in the lines). Not only did the brakes get worse after they worked on it but it looks like the tech spilled brake fluid all over my brakes and wheels without bothering to clean it up..what did I pay for?Edit: Big O phoned me and offered to refund me for the work I paid for, this was much appreciated and am happy they made it right. This is deserving of another star and I wont totally stop giving them my business however I will continue to inspect there work to make sure Im getting what I pay for. This was the first time I have ever had an issue with this location, maybe the management changed idk

Both the customer care and the quality of the service were excellent, and the price was fair. They changed out a tie rod quickly and had me back on the road in no time. Besides that, the employees were kind and treated me with compassion.

Since moving over to this side of town and going to this Big-O I couldnt be happier. They will take care of you. I also love that whenever I go in for my Oil Change with Tire Rotation, they do a quick wheel shine and clean the windshield.

My GF had 35 tires put on my truck and Karl had recommended a 2 leveling kit. She took it back to him several times due to the tires rubbing and he claims he fixed it. It was never fixed. I had to repay someone $2800 to put a 6 lift on my truck so the tires and fender would not be ruined. He took advantage of her not knowing. ANY tires above 33 should always have something 4 lift or bigger. I spoke to Karl and he refused to help in any way.

Over torqued lug nuts and stripped threads on hub during warranty tire rotation. Service manager blamed this on normal wear and tear — opposed to the fact the technician likely jammed the air drill in and hoped for the best (probably trying to move too quickly). I have used this store for multiple vehicles/services, learned my lesson, won’t be back.

A stressful day was rescued by the great employees and management at Big O. I cant say how happy I was with my experience. All I needed was a simple patch on my flat tire. The technicians anticipated my needs and even waived the price of the service. I was so pleased with the level of professionalism and care for me as a customer.

I was travelling from out of town and ran over a nail, which caused my tire to deflate. I was leaving the same day for my return trip, and stopped by this Big O in St. Matthews. This store was INCREDIBLE and AWESOME. With great assistance from Rueben, they took care of my tire and fixed it within minutes! It was a super triage and this store really impressed me, and they knew I didnt live in the area, so I am not likely to be a regular customer, but Rueben and his team treated me like a truly valued customer. If you live in Louisville, go here for all your tire needs! I really appreciate all they did for me in a pinch.

Had a wonderful experience here. They are able to fix my tire within about 10 minutes. However they found that my tire didnt need a patch this visit and they Have great customer service staff.

Treat you right. Solve the problem. My wife wouldnt go anywhere else. Car was making awful noise. They took the walnut out. Smiled and gave it to her. No charge.

They didnt have on masks and although they wore gloves they never changed them.

The only thing I found that was wrong was the mud on my car which had just been detailed. They tested my car and evidently drove thru a mud puddle. Very dissappointing.

I work right down the street I dropped my car off got my 2 front tires done. They didn’t have the tires I wanted in stock at this location but had them delivered in less than an hour. Really friendly will return for my back wheels

Though I got a tire replaced bc I was covered under warranty, the man that helped me was extremely rude and every time I asked a question was incredibly patronizing. I have no idea what his deal was as I feel that I was polite even when I felt talked down to. Perhaps he needs a brush up on customer service. I will likely be asking for someone else or going to another location should I have any problems in the future.

The staff at this store is polite and has integrity. Id especially like to recognize Ruben Vincent who has integrity. I had brake work done by a different store (Brakeway) and wanted a second opinion and it turns out the needed work was covered by the warranty I had purchase last year from Brakeway. Mr. Vincent did not try to sell me on doing the work and I appreciated his honesty. It is for this reason I will comeback for any future issues and will recommend this location to my family and friends.
