Very unprofessional. This was my first 5k service. Not happy. Just the simple check and rotation. They did oil change and spilled oil all over engine, now I smell oil inside the car. While rotating tires they damage one of the rim.πŸ˜” Service reminder on dash wasn’t reset. Car wasn’t washed. It’s disaster. There is much more, I just checked oil level and it’s only half of required level. Thank you for your business very much.

The whole buying experience was horrible.It started with the salesperson and ended with the general manager.The first was an expert in world politics and treated me as β€œmeat on seat” during the test drive.After the prolonged monologue on his world views (including vaccine efficacy) the salesperson added some advantages to buying a car from this dealer, such as the detailing of the cars on sale.As soon as the test drive ended I noticed the rear seats of the car were covered with long dog hairs. Instead of an apology I heard that the dog had been a good one because the seats had no scratches.Needless to say that the dealer would not honor the 5 day return policy as advertised in their website.I left completely turned off by the poor service.To make matters worse I was contacted by the manager the next day.He was very professional and courteous apologizing and letting me know that I should be contacted by him about the time the car would be detailed and that the 5 day return policy would be honored.Almost a week passed and nobody ever called from the dealer.By this time I had already purchased another car.The last but not the least, the salesperson called to let me know that the car was sold and he wanted to make sure if I could use his help in any way to find another car.Sasha and Sam thank u for your help,To people that have to deal with them I recommend to be careful dealing with a coordinated team of scammers.

I bought 2021 Highlander from Kyle and he was awesome. In my previous experience of buying a new car from dealer wasnt exactly pleasurable. But working with Kyle was really breeze. He made it really easy and he was so transparent. I am thinking about trade-in my car for another new car, because I feel like I can trust this guy. Happy with the car, not happy with the dealer or the experience.I started my AutoNation experience on Tuesday with one of the salespeople. My friend and I came to check out the truck, everything went well until the manager informed me I’m unable to make a deposit on the truck, possibly losing the vehicle to someone else. Came back in Thursday after agreeing on the trade-in value on my car. They lied and came back $2,500 less than what I was told only 2 days prior. During the sales process it felt like they were just playing games with us until it actually came down to signing paperwork. We reached out to our credit union, and AutoNations rates are absurdly high.

Signed an agreement and put down a deposit for a car that they didnt have, but told me was being specifically sent to them per a custom order by their GM. Was misinformed multiple times throughout the process, being told that my vehicle was currently being shipped here from CA when that was not true. They allowed the vehicle to be sold to someone else. Understanding everything going on globally with vehicles, this experience gets 1 star due to being misled throughout the entire process, tying my hands on other options while doing nothing to rectify their wrong doing. Hard to trust the sales team based on this experience, even in the current vehicle climate.

I dont even know where to start, being it I was/am very disappointed with the service department ALL together! From Robert the service advisor as well as the service manager. Brought in my highlander due to a saturated carpet on the 2nd row, they tested for leaks/clogs. Issue unresolved and was told I needed to pay $1800! To lift the carpet and address the saturation. The issue escalated into asking to speak with the service manager on duty. Dont go well at all as he was awful to deal with. After some pointless chatter and obviously did not offer any other resolution than to cough up $1800 to address the issue?! I finally said enough and jist eagerly wanted to leave with my highlander. Uses he did shave off the diagnostic fee from $190 to $95 only after telling him I refuse to pay that fee plus the advisor told me it was $100 for diagnosis. Long story short, I left the dealership very upset and stated I will NEVER return to that dealer for any future service! What a shame! After purchasing, trading in a previous vehicle and selling my other car to the dealer, this is how its going to end! To be honest, I have had much better experience servicing my Toyota highlander at Schaumburg Toyota! What a difference the overall experience is over there. Thank for nothing AutoNation Toyota Libertyville! You lost a customer!! Good luck with the BS to other unhappy customers!!! Other shoppers, beware of getting screwed over at Libertyville Toyota, take your business elsewhere!!!!!! Amen

Before making appointment to meet with sales manager, we got a chance to do price estimate through their car price estimation portal.There was big difference in the appraisal given by sales manager when we showed the car in person.We had better appraisal from other dealers for the same car.Sales manager spoke with her manager and then they did price match. No one checked....they were selling me 4 Runner Limited that was already SOLD to someone else! I reached out online to see if the car was in stock. It was confirmed the car was in stock. Drove to see it, again confirmed it was in stock, even saw it in person. Decided to buy. Negotiated the price (if these days you can even negotiate) but agreed. I didnt want to have my credit checked if I wasnt going to buy. Credit checked, approved, all went well until final moments when I found out the car was already sold to someone else!!! Waisted my time, had credit checked for nothing and was told another 4 Runner was coming in 3 weeks and they would put that one on hold for me with $2500 non refundable deposit, the car wasnt even the same (no 3rd row seats). Very disappointing and unprofessional. :(*Response*If customer service was truly important to you, Liberty would have tried to resolve the situation when I was at the dealership. I was charged $215 per hour for labor. When asked they said their rate is $160 for labor but it didn’t apply because it’s β€œmenu pricing”. It’s price gouging, plain and simple. My car was at the dealer for just over an hour and a half (106 minutes based on our texts from start to finish) and my bill is over $500. Walking out, I spoke with another customer who had the exact same experience. Both of us agreed we were never coming back here. I bought my car here, but now I have to find an honest place to take my car to be serviced. DON’T LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE THEY DID TO ME!

By far the LEAST painful car buying experience we have EVER had.From the minute we walked in the door, we were welcomed and made to feel comfortable and NOT PRESSURED. George, our salesman, was so patient and helpful and did not push anything. He took his time with us, letting us test drive multiple vehicles. We got a reservation on the automated call center. When I arrived I asked them to check out the brakes. They diagnosed the problem and offered a bid for repair. I had rotors and pads replaced. All this in just 3 hours. Service was great. Coffee machine in waiting area needs some work but my overall experience was great.

Spoke to the GM, he asked me to come in ASAP to take care of the missed repair. Libertyville Toyota did make the needed repair. I was in and out of the dealer in about an hour. Thank youService Advisor was to interested in selling me a brake fluid flush and injector cleaner for $943 that the repair I brought my car in for was never done. The Service Advisor documented what I needed repaired as it was the first thing we talked about when I arrived. POOR customer service!!!! But the dealer made $943.

Previous experiences have always been great, otherwise I would be putting a much lower rating. I took my older car in for an estimate and got a huge unpleasant surprise that it cost ~$300 that I was unaware of. It turns out that I signed a paper that had the costs buried in it that I missed, but the bottom line was blank so thought it was going to be free estimate. It turns out that the printer was not aligned right and it printed below the line, not on it and I didnt see it. This was so frustrating because it wasnt on the line, wasnt circled, wasnt mentioned. I believe in paying people for their labors, and part of it was I should have looked better in hidden places but my experiences was so good with them in the past I trusted them that if it wasnt on the bottom line there wouldnt be a charge for inspection. Shame on me as well for not seeing it in the proper place and for trusting them. The car has 250Kmi and is over $20 yrs old. If I had known the inspection would have cost 3 times the amount I would have expected I wouldnt have had them check it at all. They should have been able to give me that estimate prior to me even coming. So frustrating!On top of this there answering service is pathetic, and caused me to come for an appt the night before and be turned away.

The sales people were not pushy and generally helpful which felt good, especially as a first time buyer. There was a small hiccup, with a poor touch up job, but soon to be addressed. The service department is often incredibly slow. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, and I was asked if I wanted a car wash to which I said yes, please. I did not receive an updated mileage sticker for my next oil change and my car was not washed. After waiting an hour longer than expected, I headed home instead of going back and asking for these missing items to be addressed.

I pulled my tools out so I could clean it after repairs. However, it was a mess and your staff cleaned it from top to bottom. Mr. Arnold Nagys was very helpful this time, and we left the car between 10 am. - 3 pm. approx. Happy ending after 2 visits. However, I want to mention that I took the time to find the name of person that was very unhelpful on Tuesday (Mr. Robert Pollack). He might be good but needs some retraining on how to deal with general minority clients.

Service always takes significantly longer than estimated.Everything from oil change to tire install.Have been quoted as needing expensive repair, but other local mechanics/shops fixed the actual problem instead of unneeded repairs.Also - Im disappointed that when I spend several hundred dollars on service - they dont run my vehicle through the wash and wipe the grime off the steering wheel when theyre done.The actual work theyve completed has been fine.The excessive wait time, and lack of customer focus/awareness has made me look elsewhere to get my Toyota serviced.

When doing an oil change, I asked the dealer to do a quick check on the car to see if its in good working condition. He came back and told me your break fluid needs a flush, so does your coolant since they are both dirty. You also need a new air filter and cabin filter. What he didnt know is that i replaced my cabin filter a day before I went to the dealer. After I confronted him, he said that what he told me was what the service people recommend to be done based on the mileage of the car. So in the end I have no idea what condition my car is in and what needs to be replaced.But hey, they did change my oil, and they did do the recall for my Toyota Corolla. Whoever did the recall didnt clip back the interior plastic covers that were taken off for the whatever reason during the recall. Its not my job as the customer to go back and to clip back plastic covers that the service professional failed to do.You know, I get that car dealers are a different breed of people who try to sell windshield wipers to every old lady that comes into the store, but at least please next time check my vehicle to see if its all good to drive since i want to be safe on the road and dont tell me what needs to be replaced based on what i can read in the manual myself.

You need to work on this issue. I believe your team is better than this. I waited 2.5 hours to get my oil changed with an appointment. As a team you need to determine what is an acceptable oil change time. Than let your customers know so they can decide if that is acceptable. Every business has things to work on. I hope you decide to fix this before customers start choosing other shops.

I took my Camry in for servicing. Although I was planning on trading in my car, it was not my intention to purchase from AutoNation ever again, as I was unsatisfied with my previous experience. However, my experience this time could not have been more different. My salesmans name was Carlos (a very soft-spoken young man) and he was gentle (not pushy) and seemed genuinely interested in helping, even after I informed him I would not be purchasing my next car from AutoNation. I fully expected him to lose interest (and I didnt care), however, thats not what happened. He answered all of my questions and after gathering information from me as to what I was actually looking for, he showed me a car that he felt would best suit my needs and assured me that he would work hard to get me the best deal possible. I was skeptical, but in the end that is exactly what happened. I got a deal that I was very satisfied with (unlike the last time) and a car that I really love driving. Carlos was absolutely the best and helped me to set aside my skepticism of doing business with AutoNation. I am very pleased with the outcome.

PROS: We are return Toyota Nation customers.Β  Overall experience of purchasing new vehicle was positive.Β  Working with Tom Peterson was a great improvementΒ  frm previous purchases .Β  CONS:Β  (1) Management and Finance had a hard time accepting the fact we did not need nor want THEIR financing.Β  The continual aggressiveΒ  pressure to do so was exhausting as well as insulting, but understandably part of their job (2) They ATTEMPTED to under value our trade in by SEVERAL thousands of dollars, also part of their DNA.Β  (3) Sometime after we had finalized transaction noticed theΒ  license plate frame they attached to our new vehicle was pink...in support of breast cancer....no problem with supporting the cause as we have also supported them.Β  Explained that while we support the cause its our choice whether we want it displayed on our vehicle.Β  Was told by 3 different staff this was the only frame they offer as it represents Toyotas donation and support... no other option is available.The PRINCIPAL point is that we have supported SEVERAL causes but choose not to advertise them on a vehicle for which we paid tens of thousands of dollars...that should be our own personal choice.(3a) OBSERVATION:Β  They were unwilling to accomodate our very reasonable request AFTER they had our money.Β  This was the final stroke that brought us to the decision to do no further business with this dealership.

I went to this dealership to change my car’s engine oil and tires. The tires were expensive as compared to other tire shop. Anyway, I agreed to pay since I was busy . I found the service person at desk were not so welcoming and seems always busy with paper work. I didn’t drive the car after changing tire. However, after one week, I found that my car left passenger tire was totally flat. I took the car to dealership the service center and person at service center told me that it might be nail but later found nothing was there. And he could not explain me why the brand new tire got flat. I am so disappointed and he seemed didn’t care about it. He said I have to bring car again if it is happened again.

I did not want to put even one star for this dealership. I had the worst experience ever with this dealership. Before making your decision they promise completely different things, that once you make your deposit, they offer enormous APR like 18% (even though we made 1/3 down payment from the cost of the car, and had a stable income. The only thing was that we just came to the US and didnt have any credit score). It is not a good thing to make money on newcomers, it is a discrimination. They even did not return our cash deposit of $1000, saying that they do not have cash in their dealership and it takes them 10 business days to return us our money in the form of a pay check, that I believe, we spend some money to make it cash again. Though they promised before making a deposit, that they will return us the money upon the first request if we are not satisfied with them. They even lied about the price: the person on the phone named $24015, the sales agent we spoke to named $24894, the website price shows $24394.

Came in for oil change. I asked for car wash at the end. I was told there was recall and they will check if part is available. After maybe two hours of waiting I was told after I stoped at the counter myself that they are installing the part and it will take few more minutes another 30 minutes later the official hours of service is closed they fixed recall and did oil change and filters but scratched the car. They said to form back and they will fix it and give me the loaner. Car wasn’t wash again. Overall a positive experience buying a used car. Mobi was easy to work with throughout the sales process but much more importantly, has promptly answered my many questions post-sale. My advice to anyone buying a used car here or anywhere else for that matter, is to have an independent mechanic inspect the car prior to purchase. We discovered a few issues that needed addressing and Toyota agreed to fix most of the things I asked for. The 90 day warranty was also a key consideration for my purchase and I trust Toyota will address any issues prior to the 90 day expiration.

I had a very terrible experience here and recommend you don’t waste your time doing business here. This is by FAR the worst dealership in Lake County. This place gives Libertyville a bad rep. This is one of the most unprofessional and unorganized car dealerships I’ve ever tried to do business with. Went in last week to look at a van that was listed for sale on their website, got to the dealer and was told the van wasn’t ready it’s still being serviced and wouldn’t be ready for a few days...so why is it listed for sale as if it’s ready to go? Ok fine...the financing wasn’t going to work for that particular van so I was recommended another van, a 2013 Sienna. This van too was listed for sale and also not ready, so apparently this dealership just likes to waste people time to lure them in the door because at no point of me requesting info online or setting up an appointment does it state that vehicles listed aren’t actually for sale. Anyway, the van was nice, I discussed preliminary numbers with the sales guy and was told the van would be ready in a few days. I was then asked to sign a contract even though I had no vehicle to take home with me...I’ve never heard of signing a auto contact but not being able to take the car home...is this even legal? Doesn’t interest accrue from the date you sign the contract? Also there were several things wrong with the van that I wanted to make sure were fixed before I signed, the whole practice of being sold a car that you can’t take possession of didn’t sit well with me and a reputable upstanding dealership wouldn’t even ask a customer to do this. They said no problem (salesman and a manager) I didn’t have to sign and that they would call me once the van was ready. I checked in DAILY with the sales person on the status and for an update on the repairs for 4 days (even though they said it would only take 3). Last I checked in was Saturday, May 1st and was told the van would be ready Monday, May 3rd. Fast forward to today, May 3rd and I was notified by my sales person that the van had been sold Saturday to someone else....even though I contacted him Saturday checking on the status. So obviously they don’t keep their word or even care about promises made to customers. This place is nothing but a bunch of liars who only care about trying to make money. Next time how about you actually fix the vehicles first and THEN list them for sale instead of asking customers to sign contracts for cars they can’t even take home with them. Stay away from this place!!!

Very unwelcoming sales rep.Sales rep tried to sell what she had in her allotment and even advised me to compromise on the preferences I had and just buy the car she had.. When I wanted to pass on the car, she asked me reconsider my decision because somebody has paid a deposit already and I will miss the best car. COME ON!! You were trying to sell a car that was already sold to somebody else? For a higher price? MSRP - $34K for a Rav4 hybrid XLE premium and dealers final price was $45k :) :) This price is without any mark up :) because new cars sold here are without any mark up!! But, hey you would still end up paying more than MSRP for a new car because of various protection package they give (it did not look optional to me based on my conversation with the sales rep)..When I decided to walk away, the sales rep cursed that I will buy a car from another dealer with $10,000 - $15,000 of mark up. Giving me an impression that all she cared was to make business today and did not care when her actions/words would force me to stay away from this dealership.I made the right decision to walk away as I got a better car (new Rav4 hybrid Limited) for a price lower than the price that this dealership quoted for Rav4 hybrid XLE premium).. I honestly did not trust the sales reps words We are the biggest dealers in the Chicagoland and do not mark up the prices

*OUTSTANDING* Classy operation that plays fair, treats the customer right, and gets you in and out of the dealership in a respectable amount of time. One of the few dealerships out there that leave you feeling good about the deal you got, from the sale through the finance office.Imagine this...a dealer that actually honors the internet price they quote you, and that price is almost always the lowest you will be able to find at any Toyota dealership. Then a finance department that works FOR YOU, finding you a better rate locally than even Toyota offers, and then showing you why taking the additional cash back is now the right move as a result of finding that rate...who does that? He even went as far as to dig up the great deal I got on a 5yr 125,000 mile warranty in a previous purchase, and went out of his way to try and meet it 2 yrs later.They did all of this after I walked away and explored Jeep Cherokee. They remained patient, stayed in touch, and tried to reel me back in . Two back to back shyster Jeep dealerships sent me running back to buy my 3rd Toyota Highlander from Autonation! Was sold a car in the middle of a pandemic and was lied to! Since the first week of driving off the lot the car needed multiple repairs and when taking the car back to get fixed because it shouldn’t have been sold with faulty tires, battery part disconnecting and the car not starting every few times of driving it and many more repairs that were a part of their so called list of guarantee would be in good shape and checked and fixed before being sold. I’m a single mom and needed a car to get to work just to get by but they just wanted a sale and took total advantage of me!! They charged me $30 just to look at what was wrong with it and they even got the mileage wrong when they looked to see what needed repair when I brought it back to the mechanics. Then to top it off I’ve have been harassed by at least 5 calls a day to PURCHASE a warranty for months. They hang up on you if you answer and call back even more when you say no. I’ve never had a worse experience purchasing a car EVER!!

2 1/2 hours for an oil change. While your staff is very friendly, I cannot patronize any company that cares so little about my time. I arrived at 10:20am and did not get my car back until 12:35pm - all for an oil change. The waiting room was packed. Clearly you overbooked appointments, and people who arrived well after me were being checked out before me. I will not return to this location for my next oil change.

I do not advise anyone to go to this dealership. Here you cheat on interest, add additional guarantees without your consent. So it was with me. I bought a car, agreed on one price, and in the end they slipped me to sign an agreement for an amount that is$ 10,000 more than we agreed on. 6 months have passed. They do not make contact. They do not return money. They dont do anything. And they also took money for tinted glass, but the glass was not tinted. Worst dealership there can be !!! Go around and never go there !!!

My fiancΓ© and I were referred to Autonation Toyota by Costco. While we went in looking for a 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid, after learning about the insanity of the current car market, Rick helped us find a wonderful used Lexus NX 300h. Both Rick (who assisted us with finding the right car to purchase) and Dillon (who assisted us with paperwork process) did an excelsior job and provided us with excelsior customer service. Unfortunately, there was a glitch in their electronic system and our payment of tens of thousands of dollars was withdrawn from our bank account but never showed up on Autonation’ end. As a result, we had to file a claim with Chase to take care of the issue (instead of Autonation resolving the issue on their end). It took an additional ten days that we had not expected to have a rental car that we needed to pay for nor had we anticipated staying at my fiancé’s parents home even longer but c’est la vie. It was a breeze to bring in the cashiers check and pickup our new car. The reason why I gave them three stars instead of five is predominately because after we purchased and picked up our car, everyone at the dealership that we had worked with became incredibly difficult to get ahold of and wouldn’t return our calls and messages from my fiancΓ© and my self to procure the paperwork from purchasing our car and the extended warranty that we paid for. While the process of selecting and purchasing our new car went well. As soon as we purchased our new car, the customer service provided by this dealership became non-existent. Which I find incredibly disheartening because up until that point, everything went so well. It is also strange that the dealership didn’t offer us an apology or any sort of compensation or discount for the fiasco with their card payment system.

Although most of my experiences in the service center have been fine, my most recent was infuriating. I made an appointment several days beforehand for a tire rotation. My kids were with me but a tire rotation should only take 30-45 minutes tops with a appointment (google says 15), right? Try TWO HOURS. After 90 minutes I asked someone what was going on. I was told I was β€œnext in line”. At 11:30. For my appointment at 10:00. It was nearly noon when I was finally called. With hangry, bored kids and my other plans for the morning completely tanked.

He was attentive to the features I was looking for in the truck, but more importantly, to the numbers I needed. He kept going back and forth between me and the finance managers to get me the numbers I wanted. Then Jim, the finance manager, went to bat for me with the lender to get me to the APR I wanted, and made me a generous offer for my trade-in. Then Cameron, the finance manager that handled my paperwork for my signature, even sweetened the deal when I sat down with him. Want to know why? Because I knew what I wanted and made it easy on them. Theyre people. Work with them, theyll work with you.My recommendation? Walk in there confidently with an idea of what youre looking for, what youre willing to pay, and the savviness to acknowledge a good deal. Worst dealer experience ever!!! I rode for an hour to purchase a car I saw on the internet. The cars price was $ 13974 when I looked at it. We went to see the car after the seller, received the key. All was fine, so we went inside to finish the buying process. According to the manager, the car is not priced at $ 13974, but rather at $ 17004. What the heck is going on?! We requested to talk with the manager, but he refused, claiming that the price had been set wrongly and that the correct price was $ 17004. I took my truck in for a recall.Two things:1) My invoice stated that my truck was washed. FALSE - my truck was returned unwashed.2) When I went to pick up my truck, they were unable to locate the keys. As I waited, I noticed my truck was being driven to a lift, preparing to be worked on. THIS WAS AN ERROR and I quickly pointed out β€œthat’s my truck!”. What happened is that they misread the number on the key tag and took my truck keys, and assumed that was the vehicle that needed work. VERY careless on their part!!!
