This is my first time using Public Storage in Lansing and I was unsure of what was best for my needs. I called first and reserved my storage space before arriving at the location. I met Chris! He is very knowledgeable about what I might need for me. When he showed me the measurements for a 10 x 15 using the office I knew it would be perfect! He gave me the “Reader’s Digest “ version of the contract explaining it all very well before I signed anything. He also recommended products available for purchase to protect my property (which are reasonably priced) and guided me on how to properly use them. I asked if I could please see the storage unit before I committed to any agreement and he gladly showed it to me while explaining how the gate worked and which doors to enter to access my indoor storage. It’s really nice to meet people like Chris when I go to a new place of business. He made me feel welcome! He’s a great asset to Public Storage and deserves a raise! Thank you!

I have heard good reports about Public Storage and I am happy I made the decision to rent here. Chris was very considerate, thorough and informative and offered his help if ever needed.

The older man working the counter made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was sitting in my car when he left the office, came out to my car, and required me to validate my presence. He also refused to let my 4 year old, masked child use the restroom. We both have mask and were with a paying tenant. It felt like 50’s segregation. Very unfortunate. I don’t recommend this facility as it’s not family friendly.

This is not a good place. Prices are too high. I have a business and was going to store supplies there. I told the property management that when I moved in. She said she will have to email her boss to get 24 hr access to the gate. I said okay great. Never got back with me. I called a week later and she said that she is still waiting on approval and that she would call me as soon as she did. Never got a call back. I called back two weeks later and she said that I would have to drop off my business card and then I can get approved. I did that then never got a call back. I called back the next week, she told me she will email her boss right now and call me right back. She did call me back this time and said that it was all set. So it’s been about a month in a half since I moved in and in the mean time was storing my stuff somewhere else so I could get to my things as I work nights. I ended up just wanting to get out of there so I scheduled a move out date and moved out. Now I just got a letter in the mail saying they sent my bill to collections. This is ridiculous. I have good credit and now I will have a negative mark on my report. I was paid in full and they still send to collections. Worthless place. Why have the option online to move out if they don’t pay attention to it.

Great customer service. Kind and caring. If you are going to be late with payment or will be short they are very helpful and understanding if you open up honest communication. Love this storage place so glad I chose it! Kind employees that treat you with warmness and respect. Raj is the best! He is nice and very helpful.

This was my first time, renting at a storage unit and I was very impressed with the services, no hidden fees or charges, just a straight forward service. I was helped by Tisha she was very helpful and understanding, If you are looking for a helpful and resourceful storage place try public storage and be helped by Tisha!

No complaints if you want to store something this is the place to go

We are from CA and needed to make a trip to bring our daughter back home from MSU due to the early campus closure. We scheduled and appointment and Chris was extremely helpful. The rate was fantastic and the facilities were extremely clean.

I rented a unit and Chris was very helpful. Great service, knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Chris made the experience very quick and easy.

I was impressed with the service provided at this location! Not only is Raj excellent at his job and performs his responsibilities well, he cares about the customers too! He is very thorough with his duties. I would definitely come here again if needed and recommend it to my friends also!

Brandi helped us with getting our unit on the 13th! I arrived feeling a bit nervous about the experience but once I walked in she helped us feel welcomed and answered all of our questions! This location has amazing customer service. Very Friendly and was able to accommodate all my needs. Rajan went above and beyond all expectations. The storage unit was very large and had a light in it. I was also able to purchase mattress covers and tape for my tape gun. Very good communication throughout the whole process.

Val was a superstar. I booked online and she called me within minutes of setting the reservation. Met up with her to tour the unit, was very professional and fun and didnt try to push anything I didnt want. The non-climate controlled units are about what you would expect, nothing to write home about but perfect for what I needed (short term lease with reasonable price). 10/10 Would rent again

I recently rented a unit from this Location and Raj was fantastic. He was professional and had a great personality. I was able to get a unit to suit my needs and the process was very quick. I will definitely use this location again and refer to others. Great experience.

Public Storage 08230 is an excellent and secure place to store extra valuables. Lisa is a very capable and cordial hostess. Always a smile and very precise. Thanks for a great monthly experience.

Gentleman in office today needs customer service training. Rude service when asking questions regarding my unit and price increase...smart mouth! I guess every company cant find employees who are familiar with good customer service...so this may be my last month. Already searching for another storage facility. I would rather pay more for a unit somewhere else and be treated with respect and good service than continue paying for poor service.

The front gate goes up, not sliding back which is weird. Roof of the storage complex seems good. No leaking in the storage unit that I saw.

Chris was wonderful with us! My daughter rented a unit and it was too small so when we went to ask for a larger one he was very helpful, nice and made the process smooth and easy!

Chris and staff have made the move-in process easy and efficient. Chris went above and beyond to make the experience pleasant and quick, without sacrificing thoroughness.

Rajan was excellent. Great costumer service. He got me a great deal on a 10x30 with lighting in the unit! He is such a nice guy and great to deal with. He was very accommodating to my needs. I like the gated entrance and and the security cameras plus rajan does a lock check every night. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a storage unit.

I just rented my second storage unit this morning to this month! This place is not only has great deals, is clean and easily accessible but Raj, the manager is so helpful and will always put a smile on your face. I cant recommend this public storage enough.

I called in to get prices on a unite she was drilling me on my name the way it appears on my driver license well let me get some prices then you can have my DNA and blood type or what ever else you need and also she wanted to know what I am going to be keeping in my storage then she went back to my name the way it appears on my driver license, she gave me only one price for a small storage reason being is dollar amount was low but i needed a bigger room she never gave me any other prices then I hung up on her she called back then I hung up on her again she was rude and she introduced her self as seesee or some thing like that I am not renting from you and you can not have my DNA or blood sample just to get price to rent a storage. I wanted to give Public storage Zero star but one can not give Zero star in order to post review i have to give them one star other wise one is not able to post review ZERO STARS.

The property manager Raj made it very easy to rent a storage unit from here. And he was also here to help me before business hours. So i was very pleased. Will recommend to other people thats for sure. Customer service went above and beyond.

I took a tour of the facility with the property manager - Raj. He was very knowledge and extremely helpful. He explained everything in detail and with patience. I will be renting out a storage unit next month.

Excellent location, hours are fine, and Rajan is a fine man. He looks after his customers and he is always friendly. He has helped keep my costs down and it is greatly appreciated. We are senior citizens and he is very kind to my wife and me.

Savannah was an amazing employee. She was very knowledgeable about everything she was presenting and she was extremely nice! Although I didnt get a storage unit today I will go back there when I need one. The facility was clean and well kept, it looked like a good place to store my belongings. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

I have nothing but great things to say about the service received from Laura and Mary. They were both so helpful and nice. I had to move quickly from out of town and they made it as easy as possible for me. They had everything ready for me to sign and I had the keys in my hand in no time and they made sure I knew how everything worked. Every time I have been there they have been friendly,and they know the renters by name and they look out for everyone that comes in. They keep the grounds clean constantly and are always around the buildings and asking if there is anything they can do or help with. I would highly recommend this business to anyone and everyone!

Listened to the property manager Raj disrespect my girlfriend on more than one occasion. She just had questions and wanted help and he was nothing but rude. We have heard from other people they’ve had problems with him as well but we don’t know how to handle it so unfortunately we’re forced to leave a bad review. I suggest using a different storage unit facility. I will say Brandi was awesome though. Posting this from hers not mine.

We recently moved from California back to Michigan, and were looking for a temporary place to hold our stuff while we settled in. I checked local rates, locations, and hours from a number of different facilities. Public Storage beat them all out.Their telephone personnel was very knowledgeable and helped me select the closest location to where I was staying. He even offered discounts to get us into the size we needed.The onsite property manager was quick, friendly and helpful in getting us setup, so we could unload quickly. Overall this was a great experience! Even though we will not be using the facilities long, we will keep them in min for the future.

So easy to get to. Tay is a wonderful manager, she helps you with everything. Lovely young lady. With a great since of humor. Clean units great hours.
