Isaac and Thomas came and hauled a bunch of heavy wood pieces from old flower beds and large pieces from a broken fence. It was a big job and they did it so quick and efficiently. They were very kind and professional. They did a great job!

Jordan and Said were wonderful to work with! They were punctual, good communicators, and so careful with the furniture they moved. I inherited some large pieces from family and they had been in the same spot since 1963. Said and Jordan were efficient and thorough in wrapping and cushioning the pieces. Not a scratch on them! Although a bit pricier than their competitors, College Hunks did a great job moving us into our farmhouse. They went above and beyond to fit in a giant table, were extremely responsive and timely, and very friendly. All of our stuff came through intact and where we wanted it. Jordan, Nick and Everett were amazing to work with, they came in and took inventory of everything and got right to work. They moved fast and efficiently while still having fun, joking around, and laughing( which I loved to see because it was a 90 degree day and I know that’s not an easy job). While Ive generally used one of the other big-named competitors, I decided to go with College Hunks in my latest move about an hour away from the Lansing area as I remembered them from Shark Tank and had a friend with a previous positive experience (for a short, local move).The other big-named competitor always rubbed me the wrong way as their in-take folks felt a bit too greasy sales-folksy amongst some other things that went awry last time I used them. When I called the Hunks, they were super chill and just seemed like dudes being dudes instead of sales techniques. I appreciated the vibe.On the day of the move, Everett, Scott, and JORDAN arrived promptly and on time, did a quick assessment, and sprung into action. It was a grueling move with lots of heavy and awkwardly shaped items (exercise equipment, ridiculously large dresser, etc.). They all maintained high spirits and a great attitude during the whole thing. They even participated in enjoyable side-conversations and banter with this old, tired biddy!All in all, it was a great experience and I was impressed with everything. Everett, Scott, and JORDAN helped make a very stressful period in life (not just moving going on right now, its merely a cherry on top!) far more tolerable. Great job!Also, extra kudos to Everett. As someone who has worked under less-than-stellar leadership, he seemed great at addressing any of his teams concerns, working through problems (like getting an obnoxious elliptical into a basement despite space constraints), and leading them to victory.

Over the last 30 years of residence in East Lansing, weve used several different haulers, and these folks were FAR and away THE best. They arrived early; the two workers - Tom & Said - were SUPER friendly, funny, and kind; they finished QUICKLY; and the price was GREAT. They hauled away our old swingset plus various items of garage junk (not pictured in the attached photo); all for just over $200! All in all, a FANTASTIC A++ experience. Highly recommended.

I just recently moved to Lansing from Eaton Rapids. Jordan and Trey were my hunks lol. Soon as they arrived we spoke briefly about what was going on the truck. I had some large items, i.e., sofa, entertainment stand, bookcase; a lot of miscellaneous items, e.g., microwave, toaster oven, cabinets, clocks, etc. that I needed to have hauled away and it was done quickly with no fuss and the price was reasonable.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Austin and his all-KC crew (Casey and K.C.)—they did a fantastic job! They worked hard for six hours straight and hauled away four truckloads of stuff—one load of the “good stuff” was taken to a donation center at our request. Fun fact: they discovered 940 pounds of scrap metal in the house and garage! (That truckload was taken to a scrapyard for recycling.) We tried to be responsible and keep a good social distance throughout the day. We appreciated their willingness to still come out despite the virus situation and give us some much-needed help. Planned a move from Lansing to Ann Arbor, had already booked a moving company when we found out that they were not going to work out. Called College Hunks with about a week and a half to spare. They sent someone out to do a quote, he was gave us great advice about what we should expect in terms of cost not just from them but from any company. Day of the move Marcell and Everett came to pack up the truck, drive it to Ann Arbor and unload it. They did an AMAZING job. Not a single thing broken, everything unloaded and placed in its final destination in the new place. They were cheerful, respectful of social distancing guidelines, and incredibly efficient. I would suggest anyone booking with College Hunks Lansing request them by name!

When my sister moved into her condo we used two men and a truck. They broke her bed, refused to pay for it, and did not put boxes where they were. The move was a disaster. So when I was looking for a mover locally, I knew I could not use them. I googled movers and college hunks came up. I gave them a call - they scheduled my move for the next day. The day of the move, I needed a bit more time to finish, they accommodated me. And when they arrived, literally all me and my sister had to do was sit there while they took care of things (disassemble the bed, move boxes, etc..). Same with the move into the new place. We sat while they quickly moved things and put everything in the proper place. They asked if we needed anything else, and they finished the job an hour early! The team leader, Marcell, explained everything to me and was great at directing the other two movers. I definitely will be using them again.

A timely service was provided and the communication was great. I thought it was over priced, however, it was worth it due to the timeliness of it. I contacted the company on Saturday and they picked up on Tuesday. I was able to pick the day and time.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Showed up 5 hours late, charged more than quoted, failed to haul away a couch from original quote and then charged $159 to haul said couch away!! Nick, who lacks customer service skills, refused to apologize for the situation, and at one point even told me he would just return the couch to the front yard. He refused to refund the extra payment even though couch was part of original quote that had already been paid. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, rude, and unprofessional. I will not recommend and will not use again. Period.

Julian and Justin moved our oversized treadmill today. It was a difficult task and they did a fantastic job, taking the time they needed to take the treadmill apart, move it and then reassemble it. I decided to hire help to unload a friends moving pod from a cross-country move, because we had no local friends to help and Im too old & weak for that these days.
